4.25. Would love to rate my experience 5 but the waitstaff was very slow. The food was delicious and we enjoyed our meal very much! But we constantly had to look for our waiter to ask for menus, dessert, to pay. I had the cioppino which was delicious and the truffle fries, also very tasty! The location is gorgeous and I even became a member! I'm hoping the next time the wait is much more reasonable.

Wow... I can't believe it's been 10 years since my last review, sorry Leoness and staff. Well, what I can say for sure is that it continues to be a great place to visit. Each time we've come, we've had such a wonderful time. The food is always delicious and their variety of wines are superb. We recently came and brought new friends and they loved it. I understand that a larger group can be a bit overwhelming for the servers so we always try to commend them and thank them for their patience. This time it was Luke and like all Leoness staff, he was attentive, patient and knowledgeable. We asked him about his favorite wines and his recommendations were great! Wineries always have such a relaxing ambiance and beautiful atmosphere. Leoness is no exception and actually an exemplary winery when it comes to customer service. Always look forward to coming back!

Always have a good time at Leoness Cellars. Good vibes. Good scenery. Good music. Friendly service. Next time will have to try the food!

My husband surprised me with a weekend getaway in Temecula, and one of our favorite stops ended up being Leoness Winery. From the moment we arrived, it just felt like one of those places you want to slow down and soak in. It was a bright, sunny day, and the views of the vineyards were absolutely beautiful. We decided to dine inside at their restaurant, and it honestly felt like a fine dining experience without being overly formal or stuffy. The atmosphere was elegant but still relaxed, and everything was really well organized. The staff were attentive but never hovering. For food, I had the wild mushroom risotto, which was rich and comforting, and we also shared hummus and the Urgosa Farms spinach quail. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared, and pairing it all with their wine just made the experience even better. Overall, it was such a memorable stop during our trip. Great food, beautiful setting, and genuinely good service. Definitely a place I'd come back to again. It is definitely Yelp worthy

Went for the wine, stayed for the food. What a great restaurant! It is very bright and airy, and the outdoor seating by the water feature is very relaxing. The service was excellent, from our server to the busser, everybody was very efficient and friendly. I'm looking forward to going back to Temecula, specifically to go back to this wine, winery and restaurant.

I have a timeshare in Napa and have been to many wineries. This is local to me and one of the best I have ever been to. The food is very very good for the price. The wines are also very good. My favorites are the red blends. The port is expensive, but very good. I would prefer a sweeter port, but it is very well crafted. Our whole family of 12 people love this place and are members. My daughter took me here for a day out. I am in a wheelchair and they made every accommodation. They were so kind. She is a violinist and orchestra conductor/teacher and has played there, I believe. Anyway I saw a beaded purse that she loved in the gift shop. Lisa and the rest of the staff moved heaven and earth to make sure I could purchase it surreptitiously for her. Absolutely amazing service. BTW, the gift shop alone is worth a trip, just saying.

My favorite winery in Temecula. The vibe is beautiful and food at restaurant is good! We came here twice the past weekend. Parking is tough in the weekend so recommend coming in weekday or early weekend. The first time we came we sat at the restaurant and ordered glasses of wine salad and duck fat liver dip. Both dishes were delicious and the Syrah was my favorite wine. For the tasting, they offer 5 one oz glass for $30. We loved the Zinfandel and the cab! On weekdays the member only Terrance is available foe nonmembers so we sat there for lunch on a Monday. The food is better at restaurants but the duck fat fries were delicious! Overall a beautiful winery with tasty wine and good restaurants food. Would love to come back here again during dinner!

My husband and I have been to many Temecula wineries and Leoness wines are the absolute best! Best atmosphere, tasting room, restaurant, live entertainment, and service. We have been treated like VIPs every time go go for a tasting or a bite. We love the wines so much, we joined the wine club. Excellent discounts on everything.

This is how beautiful Leoness Wine Cellar Room was decorated.

My family's favorite winery! Beautiful scenery, quality wines, delicious food, and very accommodating service. We always have such a fun time here and can spend a whole day laughing, soaking in the ambiance and enjoying each other's company. We try to make a trip here any time we visit, and my family are members so it's nice that we get free tastings and they get wine to take home that we can try more of. The seating is always full but it never feels too busy or crowded. Valet parking is available or there is also self-parking on the gravel lot in the back. Definitely recommend visiting, enjoy!

Started morning here with friends from finger lakes region of NY whom enjoy wine tasting. This place was a hit with the views straight away. We were there at 11 and they weren't ready for us to have a tasting for another 40 minutes but they were very friendly and there was a shop and of course lovely venue. We had our tasting outside at the table and Serenity was lovely and served excellent red wines and an order of hummus which was delish. The only downside was my friends liked it so much nothing else compared! It was easy to get to and I will definitely return on my own again. Friends took home a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon.

We have tried their restaurant at both locations the terrace and the indoor restaurant. We like both but enjoy more the terrace due to the ambiance. Being outdoor on a nice sunny day with the right temperature hits the spot. Their food we have no complains, especially their truffle fries! The service has always been great! And they have a good selection of both red and white wines. When you are a member you have your perks for sure. Make sure to call ahead to make sure seating is available.

Saturday afternoon on the Leoness patio!

One thing that stands out to me is how diverse and knowledgeable the staff is. Many servers are well versed about Latin flavors, and it makes the experience feel more authentic, welcoming, and internationally minded, which is very important to me. The winery itself is beautiful - elegant, clean, and always impressive. The views are some of the best in Temecula (I think they even won an award for it). I'm proud to bring friends and family here when they visit from outside the country because it consistently leaves a great impression. I personally don't drink wine, but when I go with people who do they say it's very good. I also appreciate that they offer excellent non-alcoholic options. Their cappuccino is fantastic, and it's nice that people who don't drink (whether permanently, temporarily, or for health reasons) can still fully enjoy the experience. The food quality has always been excellent. I like high-protein meals, and the steak frites with chimichurri sauce is one of my favorites. Everything tastes fresh, high quality, and consistently well prepared. Overall, this is a classy, welcoming place with outstanding service, great food, and an atmosphere that makes you want to come back.

Unfortunately, that's where the experience slowed down. There was only one person serving, and with about 10 people in line, every refill meant another long wait. Howard and Roxy are always providing wonderful service and insightful information regarding GB's wines and food pairings. Typically, the tastings include varietals grown at the estate, such as Cabernet Franc, Zinfandel, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Roussanne, with other varietals sourced from Temecula vineyards. They also offer three (3) wonderful dessert wines made from Primitivo grapes (standard, vanilla, and mocha flavors). These are a little lighter than most Port or Port-style and Late Harvest dessert wines. Each tasting comes with a small package of baked bread sticks or gourmet chips for wine clique members, and recently they've offered pre-made charcuterie trays. I always preface my winery reviews by saying that wine tasting is subjective to the individual's palate, service is not. The wines I like/dislike, you may hate/love. I always suggest that you try and decide for yourself. There's a large indoor tasting room, as well as a large, covered patio offering great views of the surrounding vineyards, hills, and neighboring wineries. They also have a separate area away from the tasting facility that hosts weddings and other events. I can't recommend Gershon Bachus highly enough for fantastic wines and great service.
