Overall just very to-the-point experience and a price point that is high even with insurance. I came here towards the end of the 2025 year and it was packed. When I asked the assistants, they said it was people using up their benefits before they expire. OH! Yeah, same here! Everything went pretty smoothly. It's a bit dated inside the patient area... dinged up walls and some counters that definitely need a touch up. Nothing out of the ordinary if you've ever been to LensCrafters or EyeExam of California. Same equipment. Same style. Same everything. The entire process was streamlined and I was out within an hour. Prices however, are on the high side for such a large commercial operation. But everything is as advertised. Just A-OK with me! I'd probably come back if I couldn't get in with an independent optometrist, but I don't know if I'd become a regular here. read more

I have never been so poorly treated at an optometry place. I asked for a simple glasses adjustment and they tightened my glasses so much it left a painful red mark on the side of my nose. I asked them if they could readjust it and one of their workers, Ryan, was extremely rude. He blamed his inability to adjust my glasses on my "asymmetrical" nose and said that it's "impossible" to fix glasses frames from another store. He said he was "not hiding" anything from me and made a big show of adjusting the glasses in front of the whole store, even though I never accused him of anything and was politely asking for a readjustment. He then tried to push me to buy LensCrafters frames even though that's not even what I came in for. He claimed it wasn't his fault that the glasses were leaving red marks on my nose and said that's just the way glasses work. read more

I have been to this location a few times and have mixed reviews. Pros: 1. professional eye exams with latest equipment 2. wide selection of designer and affordable frames (depending on your insurance you can get a discount on those frames) 3. same day service at many locations as long as the frame is in stock 4. If a frame that you like in a different color is not in stock, they will order it for you asap. Cons: 1. without insurance, prices for frames alone can be high 2. without insurance, prices for lenses alone can also be high. I have found that sometimes the staff will add extras to the lenses without really explaining the differences and you get tacked on a higher cost. 3. service experience varies depending on time of day and location. Overall, LensCrafters offers a convenient, one-stop shop for eye exams, prescription lenses, and a wide variety of frames. I also like how they do accept a varitey of insurances . I am not able to comment on their in-store eye exams as I usually do them with another optometrist so I just go to Lens Crafters with my updated prescription. read more

At this point, I felt I had to leave a review because of a bad customer experience I had with the sales staff at this LensCrafters location. Last year, I had to return to the store for measurements because they forgot to record them during my first visit. This year, I had an even worse experience. After my eye exam, I didn't have time to make a purchase, but I wanted to ask a few questions about my insurance coverage to see if anything had changed since last year. I was having a pleasant conversation with a sales associate who was very kind, and I asked a couple of follow-up questions. At that point, another sales associate abruptly stepped in, cut off the conversation, and said, "If you'd like to understand your insurance, let's sit down and go through the process to see the coverage." While the words themselves may not sound rude, his tone and attitude were very aggressive. I felt yelled at, intimidated, and honestly a bit scared, so I left immediately. My concern is purely about his behavior and attitude. The rest of the staff were very nice, I had a great experience with the optometrist and the sales who helped during checkout. However, because of this incident, I won't be returning to this location to purchase glasses. No customer should feel uncomfortable or intimidated when asking basic questions. read more

I picked up the order in-store on April 16 and returned both frames on April 19 after in-store staff inspected and approved the return (Return #9081529373128). Despite following their return process exactly as instructed, I received no refund or follow-up. I finally called on May 12, and a rep named Dianne assured me I would see the refund in a couple of days (Case #250512-007613). It's now May 26--still no refund, no update, no apology. I think the optometrist is wonderful Dr. Hashemian. I've had 2 eye exams from her now and I have had great experiences. She is patient with all my questions, gives great recommendations, and explains everything in way that's easy to understand. I voted 3 stars because of a few members of the staff. Whoever answers the phone always sounds like she is annoyed, answers questions before I even finish my sentence, and overall isn't pleasant to speak to. I suggest letting her go because she has gotten too comfortable in her position to the point where she doesn't care about the people who call on the phone. Secondly, why can't you email us our prescriptions when we call to ask? The portal isn't very clear and looks like they haven't changed the code since the late 90's. My prescription wasn't showing up on the site so now I have to take a significant amount of time to drive to fashion island, go to your store, ask for my prescription, have you print it out, and then drive home. That's at minimum 1 hour of my time (probably more). Instead of you taking idk 3 minutes (prob less) to maybe look up my prescription and email it to the email I have on file... thats crazy imo. Every place I've taken an eye exam has always emailed me the prescription without even asking... Won't be going back to this place until they make some changes. The gentleman seemed confident to do an adjustment. He broke my frame, cracked it beyond repair. He didn't offer reimbursement of any sort, just a giggly "sorry." They seem unable to provide the appropriate prescription for lenses . Twice now two years apart I received a lenser prescription that was not upgraded to allow me to see better. And yet I paid for the eye exam and lenses( no frame purchased) to the amount of $262. Was I given lesser service because I didn't purchase frames ? I was in need of some glasses made quickly, and luckily LensCrafters was less than a mile away! I was able to walk in, work with Daniel for seamless and quick service. I took off a star for them forgetting to help me (which is okay! I understand staff was busy as everyone is trying to use their benefits before the end of the year and I was just a walk in). Yes, I was left to sit there for maybe 20-30 minutes, but once an associate realized I have yet to receive assistance, they quickly made up for it because they were super apologetic and led me to work with Daniel. He was professional, knowledgeable, and overall awesome. They didn't have the frames I originally wanted in stock, but it's all good because they had my second choice. My prescription was still on file, so once we squared away the fitting, and payment, I was done in about 20 minutes. I was warned that since it was so busy, my glasses may not be ready until the next day, but to my surprise, they were done in about 4 hours! Super happy with the service provided, and I will definitely be utilizing LensCrafters again for my future glasses needs. read more

Walked into store, was greeted by an employee, told her looking for new wayfarer glasses. In 30seconds another lady comes to her and she leaves, saying I'll be right back. Well, I waited and waited... 5min... 10min... looked around she was nowhere. How rude to do that to a customer. I saw another employee look at me but never approached me. Maybe they don't like how Iooked? I was a minority in this store of employees. I left and went to Sunglass Hut and got some service for my purchases. Yes, I need to purchase 6 sunglasses, so they missed out on a nice sale. I will NEVER go back to a store that treats customers sub-par. Called the store and requested a price match for the frame, but they didn't want to help at all. I got stuck with the frame since it was ordered with prescription lenses. Went to 3 different places for help with my broken sunglasses. All I needed was a screw. Sunglass Hut, Oakley and Zumiez all turned me down. Finally I went to this LensCrafters and within 2 minutes I was in and out with my fixed sunglasses! The gentleman in the front (with tattoos) didn't even blink and he went back and fixed my sunglasses in less than 30 seconds. My honest sincere opinion about this place is great except some pieces. Walked in for a change of lenses felt my left eye vision a bit blurry so made an appointment prior 1 week in advance and they made time for me, which is perfect. Once arriving for my appointment I was greeted by the staff felt welcomed, they asked if I have an appointment I said yes. Then proceed to take some test on my vision with the machines. The women that was helping me was great her name is Julie, she explained what all the machines do and how they help them figure out what's the problem or how to fix it. It all made sense to me and I trusted her and felt really comfortable with her. I believe we tried 3 machines we do one with air being blowed into your eye and that one did scare me but she did tell me in advance that it will do that so I'm not fully shocked in the moment. My overall experience with the machines and how well kept clean they are is a 10/10 not dirty they clean before use and after use. Love to see that. My honest review about the worker Julie is a 10/10 she was really nice and patient felt comfortable, that's something you don't feel with other people cause they can be rude. Once we finished with all the machines and test she told me to just wait on the seat and the doctor will come out, I told her "thank you, you'll be a great manager one day maybe here or somewhere else but you have heart and patience's". One the doctor saw me and greeted Dr. Park took me into the office and explained to me all the pictures that Julie took and explained if I need glasses why I do. I realized I'm a bit blind but that's why I'm there. She then proceeds to test me on this eye machine by switches lenses to see which one is better vision for me. It was easy and calm. Dr. Park then proceeds to tell me she recommends that I get glasses for then it will help my vision so later on it doesn't get worse. I take her advice and thanked her, she was really calm for being a doctor they always tend to rush you and get you out. She asked if I have any other questions but I didn't. I was glad she could attend me. My overall review is 10/10 amazing Doctor. Then the fun part came so I thought, choosing my glasses. I got back to the main floor where I was supposed to go I sat down and got helped by this Gentleman Alexis at first he asked to see my paper work and then took my insurance, anyways from that I choose some nice Ray-bans Club master I believe is what it's called. I selected those for my glasses with the tint in the sun, he did try pushing it that I get it. I didn't really like how much he pushed it onto me to purchase it. I understand he's trying to push the product out but I felt more like I was forced do buy it. Although I was gonna get it. I first wanted to see the price difference with or without. He was an okay sales person. He did help me find what I was looking for and told me great facts about adding the tint to my glasses. Although I did felt a bit to pushed in that situation of buying the tint, I chose to buy them cause I enjoy the tint in the glasses if I am going to be wearing them everyday. He then proceeds to charge me and tells me it's gonna be about a 30-45 min wait for the glasses to be ready so then I proceed to wait walked off to Amazon fresh to get myself beverage. Time was up came back into the store glasses were ready I proceed to try them on with him and asked if they fit I said yes. He said It looks good and said if there's anything else I can do. I said no but thanked him for his time and left the location. My overall review of Alexis is 7/10 didn't feel as comfortable and felt like I had to buy them and just go. Lens Crafters is a great and wonderful company with many people of heart. The location I went to in The Market Place in Tustin near Irvine was good. Good staff for the most part.
