I also enjoy wearing colored contact lenses but have a unique BC that it was hard for me to find ones that are comfortable. My first pair was purchased from JINS in Japan, with a prescription calculated by an automated machine with an attendant. Unfortunately, the near and medium field of view were really far off. My second pair was a frame by Cartier that needed new lenses. Dr. Lee helped assess my uses and prescribed new lenses that addressed all my concerns. Just nine days later I received a message that my glasses were ready. Wow! Amazing. The new prescriptions are excellent, and now I can protect my eyes with the latest features and see clearly in my various daily tasks. Kudos to Dr. Lee and her helpful assistants. I already completed my paperwork online so it was a short wait. Afterwards I got my eye tests from the technician lady (didn't catch her name) then got moved into the exam room where Dr. Ken examined me and did a series of tests. He took his time to examine me and explained everything he was doing and what he was looking for. After the exam was complete I was seen by Jeremy, the other technician and he explained my insurance coverage very thoroughly to me and let me take my time trying on and choosing my frames. Then he went over lens coatings and took my payment. They said my glasses will take about 2-3 weeks since it's end of year (busy season). I think the doctors here are very nice and the service is pretty efficient for eye exam. I like the doctors. I noted this time they did eye imaging and a full on eye exam with the camera and different angles, Shannon (i think is the doctor as its the name on my prescription) explained my mole/oil glands and the clinical effects which is good patient care, and she felt much thorough. However, I did feel taken aback by the treatment given because I did not buy new frames here this visit and made the clinic appear profit driven which undermines the nice mannerisms of the doctors. The frames here are expensive, they carry nice brands but its usually hard to find frames i genuinely feel good in (and this is something I feel would be impolite to disclose so I just don't say anything). Mainly, now that I'm working, my insurance is worse and doesn't cover frames. I had old frames from here and they requested $5 to replace a screw but then decided to not fix it, because it'd take too much time to find the screw. Ok, specialized lens stores may have more resources to fix it for free, so I just left. The next day I get a text about prescription being sent and after I noted receiving it, I quote a random " sure we cannot convince you to come support your local business. we hope to be here service our 80,000 cherished clients for another 26 years". Again, loyal client for over 20 years with a whole family here. Whoever communicates to clients should be more understanding of clients situations and boundaries without the client needing to explain. He could've prefaced with empathising with the client situation and then letting the client know that there are no insurance specials for fast frames $89 post eye exam rather than randomly opening with that or treating customers different because they won't buy luxury frames. So overall, the doctors are nice and the exams are comfortable, but service retail wise feels iffy. It'd be a nice bonus if free cleaning was offered during the eye exam (like some ultrasonic machine thing) and eyeglass adjustment for routine maintenance.

With Dr. Villa's written input, I was able to quickly have my eye pressure tested by an ophthalmologist thru my medical insurance. They quickly identified a major issue with my eye pressure and immediately placed me on an eye drop regimen to manage this condition. No damage was identified but this condition can quietly evolve into vision loss and blindness, if not controlled. I was only at this location because I wanted some new eyeglasses, but the final result was that they were able to protect my eyesight. I will forever be grateful to this doctor and her superlative staff - I would say pizza, drinks, ice cream, and chocolate chip cookies on me, but even that is reasonably priced at Costco !!
