Saw the 5-star rating on Yelp with a handful of reviews. They definitely delivered! Due for my yearly eye exam and not wanting to drive far away from home to get it, I decided to look for an optometrist closer to me. I came across this place and after reading the reviews, I decided to give it a shot. Communication started via email by inquiring if they accept my insurance. They do, and they advised me when on the soonest I could make an appointment (when my 1 year since the last appointment is reached). I went ahead and made an appointment for my comprehensive eye exam and they emailed me the necessary forms (new patient, etc.) to complete prior to my appointment day. Reponse time was quick! Fast forward to appointment day (today). I walked in and was greeted by a friendly person at the desk who accepted my completed forms. I waited for a short period of time then I was called up to do the usual testing (peripheral vision, etc.) on the machines. She also did a iWellness Retina Exam (optional, additional fee, pretty cool to see a cross section of your eyeballs) to assess the health of my eye. I didn't catch her name, but the person who helped me was very friendly and helped me feel at ease. Once the tests were done, I was walked over to the neighboring room for the comprehensive eye exam with the optometrist. The optometrist who saw me, Sophia, was awesome! She's very knowledgeable (as she should be) and answered all the questions that I had. She provided helpful information to take care of my eyes and my Meibomian glands. Thorough, friendly, and professional are just a few of the many words that could describe her. I can imagine parking might be difficult during lunch time on the weekdays, but anytime before or after should be OK. They are closed every Sunday and tuesday. The front staff is friendly. The eye glass selection is varied. There is dedicated parking in front of the store just in case there is no parking in the lot during peak hours. Wonderful experience getting the full comprehensive eye exam by Dr. Chen and with the help of staff member Elizabeth. I'm 44 years old and wanted to get the eyes checked out. I went for all the testing they offered to get the full scoop on my eyes. Results came back 20/20, yay. Dr. Chen was very kind, easy to talk to, she had a very calm yet confident demeanor that help put me at ease. If at anytime I had a question she was very open and a great listener. I really could not of asked for a better experience overall. Elizabeth helped with the key testing early on and followed all the diagnostics that they had, it was actually kinda fun tbh. Facility was clean, parking was a breeze with the parking spot reserved for the Optometry but if you do go during peak lunch hour def give yourself some time to find parking because it can get a bit tricky. I was bummed when I moved and had to find a new eye doctor. Luckily I saw the great reviews for Concourse Optometry and they were right! Dr. Chen is really nice and takes the time to discuss various options. You can either call or book your appointment online. I appreciate that they will check your insurance prior to your exam, and will alert you if your benefits are not yet available. Parking at the TRADE center can be challenging, especially during lunchtime. Concourse Optometry has a couple of spaces in front reserved for their patients, which helps alleviate that parking stress. I highly recommend Concourse Optometry! read more

I was blown away by my experience with Concourse Optometry! My previous optometrist retired - I had been seeing him for close to 15 years! I did quite a bit of research to find a new office to go to and I'm glad I found Concourse. The office is very clean, modern, and well lit. The staff were very friendly when I booked over the phone and upon arrival for my appointment. Dr. Chen was absolutely stellar - I didn't know what I had been missing all of these years. The exams were extremely thorough. Some were the familiar eye exams we all know (looking at the red barn) but they also offered more modern technology to check your eye health in more detail. Dr. Chen reviewed all of the results with me - she didn't make me feel rushed at all, and answered all of my questions. She even asked more about my lifestyle and what would make sense for me for glasses, contacts, etc. To my surprise, she also noticed that the lenses on my current glasses weren't centered - this is why things always seemed slightly blurry despite getting new prescriptions each year with my previous doctor!
