We paid the fees, got the truck home, and it still wasn't repaired. They tried to put in cheap parts in our brand new truck. Then they charged us another $1,100 for a tail light . They took advantage of us and should have done the quote right the first time. To top it all off the main service guy STOLE personal belongings from our vehicle. We found out because when we went back to his office OUR belongings were on his desk. Shame on him. The management here is awful and can't be trusted. Hargey the owner needs to get his team and company back in line to provide better customer service.

About a year ago I was in a small crash and had a body shop on the south side of town do the repairs. They called when the car was ready and said that it wouldn't run. Frustrated, I knew there was what supposed to be a reputable VW TDI guru nearby, so I had the car towed to them for repairs. Seven plus months and myriad excuses later, they'd done nothing to get the car back on the road. It was an awful experience. Finally it dawned on me that I had previously had a great experience at Das European, so I had the car towed again to the team here for repairs. I was very frustrated at the inability to just get the car fixed. because I had spent about $8,000 having a lot of work done to keep the car going, I was worried I wouldn't be able to get her fixed up and back on the road. Christian and team came to the rescue. They fixed the issues on the car and more all in one weeks time. I couldn't be more thankful for the work these guys did, and more importantly that they understand how much I love the car and how hard they worked to help me keep it running. If you have a TDI or any older VW that you love, these are the only people in Houston thar you should trust to care for your car! Thanks again to the team for all of the great work. I have only taken my vehicle in for repairs 2 times. They do all my maintenance, because I know if they do my maintenance I'm not going to have a problem with my vehicle. I have a 13 year old car with over 150,000 miles on it and it still runs great because of these folks. They are awesome. They treat you with respect and make you feel like family. I had a friend, who moved from up north, trying to get his vehicles inspected elsewhere and was getting the runaround at another place. They told him he needed to spend a couple of thousand dollars before they would pass it by Texas standards. Josh and Liz looked at the list of things they said and told him that they were trying to put one over on him. He got his vehicles inspected with no hassles and passed with flying colors. Take my advice. If you are worried about being screwed by automotive shops, bring it in here and they will make you feel better.

Then they suggested buying it from me if I wasn't willing to keep paying for repairs. A week later, I found out they sold the truck and claimed it was fixed. It's clear I wasn't the only one -- turns out other customers have had similar experiences. This feels like a bait-and-switch: quote high, claim they can't fix it, then flip the vehicle for profit. Completely unethical and dishonest. Avoid this place at all costs.
