I posted a review in December 2023. Grant Firestone had crushed my daughters car because it had been there too long. I cant uodate that review. December 26 I got a call from Grant Firestone stating they had recovered the car from the scrap yard. I needed to come get it and pay the 1000.00 storage fee for 3 months. I said let me make some calls. Later that afternoon We went to look at car. it was missing the washer arm on the column and the plastic cover that goes around it. They said they would replace them. I talked to the owner after we left the shop and we agreed to fix all the mechanical stuff to get it running. He requested full payment upfront . I agreed. 4 days later we were driving the car. happy we could use it after 3.5 months of sitting. PS a few days later we noticed antifreeze leaking on ground. saw issue was a hose that got a hole rubbed in it. Problem was new radiator was not installed correctly and was able to rub a hole. We took it back and they fixed it in a few days. Hose was replaced and radiator was mounter with rubber shock mounts. read more

Came in to get a simple service, very basic, knew what was wrong, and wanted to give this place a shot. The guy on the phone said it would be a simple procedure, theyd check the car and see if what I thought was the issue was the issue and gave a range of the cost ($80-$200). I took the car in and an hour later they called and said they found another issue with the car (nothing so important to cause a warning light - and in 2022 things cause warnings on the cars) and that fixing it would cost $1,000. I liked the guys there, so I said sure. Go ahead. When I went in to pick up the car, the guy checking me out was tired, probably overworked, and just wanted to get me out of there. I had called and asked when they closed but made sure to show up at least 30 minutes before then because I know how closing can get. I showed up, they rushed me out of there, didn't tell me anything, just took my money. I drove out of there with the car giving a death rattle. I called to make sure this was normal -- if you change some parts, they need to be broken in. No answers from the phones. Not responsive. If this was normal why didn't anyone tell me? Now I'm worried something's wrong, the awful sounds are still coming from the car when I drive it. And I don't have time to take it to them on Monday morning. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. It's bad service, a rip off, and your car will come out worse and they'll prolly charge you to fix it, just like the other bad reviews say. read more

I highly recommend Grant Firestone. I had a wrecker drop off my truck because it was not running properly. By the time I arrived at Firestone, Victor already had it hooked up to the diagnostic scanner. He researched the codes and year of my truck and come to find out, there was a recall by Ford Motor company. He told me to take it to Ford to handle the recall and if they said it needed anything else to let him know. When your forced to have your vehicle delivered to a repair or collision shop, you are pretty much at their mercy. Victor was honest and I greatly appreciate that! Victor, the person at the front desk most of the time, is a great guy and really helpful, and he sounds sincere and honest with his recommendations on your car matters. I definitely DO NOT recommend this place. They don't know how to repair the air conditioning of a Honda Civic. I paid $ 900.00, for exchange the compressor and now the air conditioning cannot be turned off. It is working all the time. The owner told me that since they didn't know how to do it, they called Honda . And if I wanted to fix it, they would have to do another job at an additional cost. From my point of view, they just know how to change the oil, they DON'T know how to repair autos. read more

I went through the website and set up an appointment online. Almost immediately the owner personally emailed me to confirm my issue and let me know what I should do before I came in. I went in to get my check engine light diagnosed and Victor was very honest with me about what was going on with my jeep. I came in 3 days later and had the repairs done. I was very satisfied with how well Victor communicated with me regarding the progress of my car. My first time coming to this Firestone. I got a groupon for an oil change and I just walked in and they said about 10 -15 min. They were very polite and charged exactly what I was told. A grand total of 20 min from the time I drove into the parking lot to driving out. Nice quick and easy. Right down the street from my house, very easy to find and nice and clean waiting area! This shop is amazing. To begin with, they are reasonably on their prices, they do good work and they stick to timelines. They are more than that. This shop is honest and the people that work there, like Victor, are very kind individuals. They will give you the run down on what's wrong and what needs to be done always trying to do what's best for the customer. They have a life long customer with me. Came in for an inspection on a Saturday morning. The place was hopping. Manager was honest with customers regarding the amount of wait time, always suggesting drop off for Saturday morning. Met a customer who followed this owner from last location because of the excellent service. Watched another car owner discuss their problem. The shop did not charge for what they could not fix. At end of inspection, my radiator was found cracked. I wasn't surprised as had smelled antifreeze not long ago. Shop gave me an immediate estimate and completed the work immediately. Will give a ride home if wait time too long. Honest, reasonable rates. Will definitely return. read more
