I know there's always places that try to take advantage of women when it comes to car repairs, but not here. When I explained the issue and that I was in a hurry, they were patient but efficient. Turns out I needed to replace some parts. Instead of trying to tell me all these other random issues and trying to convince me I can only buy from them, they told me the truth about price comparisons. It's the kind of place you can trust them to help you honestly and at their best ability. They also towed my car to where I needed to be next, which altogether a Diagnostic and Tow was fairly priced. Never have I been to a auto repair shop where I wasn't pressured to make random repairs, pay absurd prices, and helped as kindly as they helped me. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

The bathroom has a little basket with items to refresh yourself. Honestly was the best auto shop lounge area I've ever been in. I appreciate Bryan and Richard for taking care of my vehicle needs. I dropped my vehicle off while I was going out of town. When I returned, the car was not ready yet, as I had hoped to get it straight from the airport. I was thankful that they sent an Uber to take me back to the shop when the car was ready because I do not live close. It was only convenient to drop it there because it's not too far from IAH. Richard noticed something didn't sound right as I was about to leave and made sure it was fixed before I drove off.

Clunking sounds continued and now they tell me that the car needs new front struts for $4788 Seriously?? Why is this just now being diagnosed? I certainly wouldn't have done the front end work if I'd known - this is a 16 year old car! Additionally, I paid $200 for diagnosis of a check engine light: they said it was a valve of some sort on or near the emissions charcoal canister. That light came back on after a week and now they say it I must pay them to drop the gas tank to determine what's going on. Wtf..? Today I discovered that they rotated the wrong tires at this last disastrous visit: I asked they rotate the passenger side tires to isolate a problem but instead they rotated the driver's side. So, Instead of a wobble in my steering wheel at 65-70mph, I have a much worse one at 40mph! I really don't think that they know what they are doing!

I'll hold onto the…read morewings of the eagles, and watch as we all fly away" Thank you Nickleback for introducing us to the true meaning of Ripley's. One upon a time, out of a place deep deep in the gates of hell and sewers, one of the worst types of human cruelty decided to target my truck and steel my catalytic converter. Leaving me with a truck so loud that when driving home, every other truck was trying to get me to race it. So I ended up at the Toyota dealer who told me that I'm number 127 in line to get it replaced and the wait would only be 1 month. What da!? So I left it there to wait, wanting original parts. I can do this right. Then on a follow up call 2 weeks into the wait they confirmed that the wait will be more like 3 month. Three months?! As in 1,2,3? Also known as one, two, three? Just no. There has got to be a better way. So I call my usual mechanic who referred me to another mechanic who does custom work and they go by the name of Ripley's. I call and I said, "how long?" They said "5 hours". I said "what!" They said "um hmm" I said "go pick it up at Toyota". 1 hour later my truck is at Ripley's. 5 hours after that I get a text saying, "blah, blah, blah, Done! I'm like, " what? " They like "yeah". So in pure disbelief I zoom on over there. And there she is... glistening in the sun, with even a new anti-theft converter cover. My lovely vehicle that identifies as a Truck; was there waiting for me. And Tommy, the owner of Ripley's, was standing there with a red cape with a big "R" on his chest and my set of keys. He saved the day from a horrible 3 months of doom. From 3 months to 5 stars! THE END... And Prosper.
