Since then, I always have a burning oil smell after they change my oil. Also, when my starter was going out, they thought it was because my battery was too weak so they changed my battery to a more expensive gel battery and didn't give me credit for my perfectly fine battery that they removed until I later complained. (They then only gave me a $20 credit). Later, the gel battery they installed gave out after only 1 year and 3 months of service. I was stranded out of town when it happened and Corb's would not give me any kind of credit for bringing the battery back. I will no longer recommend anyone to go here after these continued bad experiences.

Took it in due to grinding noises. We were quoted $1214 for just the drivers side rear break pads and caliper. We will stick with Pronto Automotive, may not always be the fastest but he is honest, and very reasonable. I will say the staff at Collins are very friendly. The cover was destroyed but we were able to jury rig her so she was drivable. After several delays and my rather grumpy bf not being happy about things, I got her back today. I had had them replace the cylinder. They had mentioned bent bolts and broken tabs. I figured it was how it was held in. So imagine my shock to find the entire steering column recovered. I went in on a Saturday before I was heading out of town and although he politely told me they were booked up for the day he would be happy to get to it on Monday. I brought it in with the expectation they would be busy on the weekend anyway, so that was no problem. Monday morning first thing I got a call telling me they found the problem and how much it would be to fix it. If they found anything else he would call me again before doing additional work otherwise it would be good to pick up by the end of the day. Thankfully they didn't find anything else. Fast reasonable service with none of the BS pushed on you by the chain places. I will be doing business with them in the future.

Work is impeccable and I can feel that they are so honest in their estimate and the service is white glove. My car was returned clean inside and out! My headlights were taken apart and polished for better vision (What a great idea for a collision center to allow the driver to see better). Took my daughter's car to Quality for engine light a couple of weeks ago. Previously, another auto…read moreshop had replaced the gas cap in hopes that that was the issue for the evap system engine code from the diagnostics. That shop said that most of the time, a poor sealing gas cap is the problem for that system code, but to find out for sure a smoke test of the evap system would be required. Well, we hoped that the problem was solved so we passed on the additional cost for the smoke test with that shop. Soon after, the engine light came on again. So that's how I ended up taking the car Quality for the engine light a couple of weeks ago, so they could run the smoke test. Daniel ran the test (the same diagnostic code for evap system) and to my surprise, they called me in the shop area and showed me the smoke spilling out of the gas cap connection, which obviously was not fixed by the previous shop the first time. So we're happy with a new gas cap, but then a short time later the engine light comes on again - how aggravating! So, I took it back to Quality this morning and Joe remembered the car and me from the recent, last visit. Diagnostics showed an issue with the evap system again, but this time using a higher pressure system test on the evap system, they isolated the additional problem canister and completed the repair. Thinking this through, once they found the poor gas cap seal previously with the smoke test, (which I came in asking for at the suggestion of the other auto shop) replaced the gas cap and the engine light went off after test drive, it would not have been prudent at that time to try a different costly diagnostic (in this case, the higher pressure test.) I learned that the smoke test is a low pressure test, which perhaps would not reveal the problem with the evap system canister issue - at least that's how understand it (might be wrong.) Fair pricing for part and labor. Excellent service and personal attention to me - kept me in the loop on the issues regarding ordering the part (GMC problem with part number, not Quality's.) Miguel test drove the vehicle to ensure that the engine light was now no longer activated and I was good to go! I've used Quality for years for all of my vehicles and after using many automotive shops in the Spring area since 1990, Quality is the one I trust most. Mike and his team are good, honest people - just what one needs in an auto shop.
