They told me I failed my inspection for my windshield wipers and made me pay 40 dollars or I'd have to fix it myself and pay for the inspection again. I don't remember the cost of an oil change here, but for the few times that I've been here, the owners and mechanics are very honest and I don't remember them over charging. They saved me a bunch of money once. I was told by a mechanic from another shop that I had to change out my transmission system, so I took it to this place for a second opinion. He found the problem and it was not anything related to the transmission. Guys like this are hard to find. It turned out to be a cheaper fix! They also do annual car inspections here. Great place for the care of your car. It's a family owned business. I've taken my car here for the past 10 years for basic maintenance such as oil changes and fluid replacement. Also great tune up place as well with highly knowledgable staff, and the service is impeccable. They also honestly let me know of potential problems that may come and are not uncomfortably forceful in persuading me to fix my car.The owners are honest with the pricing and are sharp to catch difficult to diagnose problems with the car. I am very un satisfied. Took my blue mazda in for repair. Codes said my engine is running lean. Told them my CEL came on and when it did I could here a air leak on the the passenger side cabin when I step On the gas and a rattle. And that there's a intermittent pause in the revs between second and third gear. They diagnost it and said the PCV valve needed to be replaced. I go back the next day and they refuse to let me drive my car to see if its running correctly without me paying first. The nice Asian lady says if there's anything wrong just bring it back and we will fix it. So I pay the 566 dollars of my hard earned cash expecting my car to be fixed correctly. So I drive it for about 5 minutes and bring it back to them. Same problems as before. I talk to the owner and the mechanic. Both of them Rode in my car with me and I pointed out the problem to them. I said you hear that air puffing/rattle and the drop out of the engine revs. The mechanic gone say that's from putting bad gas in your car but atleast your engine not running lean no more, and was giving me the run around. I said only gas I put in my car is chevron. So I told another mechanic that was in the garage my car symptoms. This mechanic said umm I don't know. I mean your a mechanic that works here and you don't know, aren't you ASE certified like it says on the entry doors dumb ass. So after about 30 minutes of telling these people that my car isn't fixed. Even after i pointed the problems out to them and heard it for there selfs. They kept insisting that it is fixed and that there nothing's wrong with my car, and refused to satisfy a customer and do the job that I requested right. They say there services have a warranty. Well that's a lie. I had brought my car back to them within five minutes. A auto shop business will fix the problem and not have a customer walk away unsatisfied. I would have came out better if I took my car to the dealership for repair. My car still has the same fucking problems as before and was ass raped for 566 dollars. Next thing you know my car is making a noise, so I take it back the next day. They said it was my brake rotors, in order to fix it it was $95.50. I said forget this! Went in for alignment to fix my camber and ended still having a bad alignment and 300$ poorer and a scratched up fender that was repainted. The Asian guy speaks Chinese or something, just feels like he is hiding something from you. They left a hammer on top of my engine. How fuck do you leave a hammer on top of someone's engine. I brought my new car here for rear bumper work. The body shop recommended not to replace the bumper and instead use fiber to do the repair. I was hesitant at first, but I went along. They did the work in two days, and when I looked at the final product that the team at Veterans Memorial Auto Center did, I was not amazed at the quality of the work. I am very picky and pay attention to detail. So when I mentioned that there was a minor paint touch up needed, Mr. Powell did not hesitate to go above and beyond to ensure I was completely satisfied. This is family owned business from what I learned, and has been around for many years at this location. They not only saved money of having to replace my bumper, but they provided quality results, and the friendliest service I've seen from a mechanic antibody shop! I went to fix my door because it would not open from inside mr.lee told me $85 to check and partsCost around $10 to $15 I told him ok go ahead fix the door and he called me evening and toldtold me $190 to fix door ,now I don't have choice because if I don't get it fixed still I have to pay $85 so I told him fix the door handle and when I went to pick up car door is not closing properly and he told me it's going to be alright after few times but it never happened and my problem is Not solved. Now the door is messed up more hard to close and also he lost door lock stopper also ,I called him and he told me he can fix my door handle but I have to pay extra money, why I have to pay extra money,I already paid $190 . How can I trust someone who is telling something and doing something. They are dishonest people and they don't know how to be honest to customers I request everyone do not go there. read more

Do not go here if you want body work on your car! Maybe for brakes, oil changes, internal engine stuff but not body work repair! I took my g37 in to get some body work repair. Somebody put a dent on my passenger side bumper where the headlight is located and just left, F**** SOB. He looked at it and said he could fix it for a said amount. I said ok. I come to pick it up next day and the dent is gone but the bumper IS NOT ALIGNED/FLUSHED with fender!!! Hellllooo!!! The guy never said anything about this to me. Anyways it bothered me way too much so i took it back and of course he charges another bill for him to make it flushed like the driver side. No discount for my inconvenience or anything. Worst experience with a mechanic shop I've had. And this is the reason I like doing things myself. I just paid this man $940. Had to take my car to him twice because of their mistake. I took my car in so they could repair my A/C. The mechanic didn't seem like a bad guy looked like he knew what he was doing. But boy was I ever so wrong and I will learn from this mistake and hope other read this before they fall into it as well. He said my compressors electrical something was bad and told me he could fix it for $540. And at the time I was like fine no big deal. I got the job done, but in two months after I just picked up my car from their shop not even two months my A/C was broke again and parts were flying off my engine to top it all off. It squeals first like a banshee then you heard a loud thud. My father was about three feet from the car and said "what's this." Lo and behold it was the new compressors clutch flying from under my hood. So know I take my car back mind you it's still under mechanical warranty that my A/C will work. The man has the audacity of telling me that his mechanic made a mistake and didn't change the drier or the filter. So that was the cause for the compressor. Is it just me or should he be held accountable for his word that my A/C was fixed. I'm going to pay because god knows what maybe the mechanic needs the money. Or something. But I'm still considering to sue him for lack of knowledge and not being able to produce the goods that I paid for with my hard working earned money. read more
