Then they suggested buying it from me if I wasn't willing to keep paying for repairs. A week later, I found out they sold the truck and claimed it was fixed. It's clear I wasn't the only one -- turns out other customers have had similar experiences. This feels like a bait-and-switch: quote high, claim they can't fix it, then flip the vehicle for profit. Completely unethical and dishonest. Avoid this place at all costs.

When I picked it up, multiple wood trim pieces and both A/C vents were cracked. These parts were not damaged before the service, and the damage is consistent with improper pry tool use or forced removal. When I brought up the damage, the shop offered aftermarket replacements that did not match OEM quality or finish. After I declined the aftermarket parts, the shop told me they "could not do anything further." I have spent months trying to source OEM replacements myself, and the cost is significantly higher than what the shop offered. The shop has refused to cover the proper OEM repair. This review is not about the repair being difficult -- it's about the lack of accountability and the refusal to restore the vehicle to its original condition after causing visible damage during their work. If you care about your vehicle's interior, especially OEM trim, I would strongly recommend choosing a different shop. UPDATE: Response - There was no detailed discussion or explanation of specific interior trim risks before the work. - I was never presented with or asked to sign any disclaimer regarding interior damage. If the shop has a signed copy, I've requested it but have not received one. - The wood trim, vent assembly, and glovebox panel were not damaged prior to the service and the new damage is consistent with improper removal tools and handling, not age-related failure. - Aftermarket Amazon parts offered to me do not match OEM Lexus materials, so declining those is not "declining a solution." I've sent the shop a detailed email directly so this can be addressed privately and professionally. My goal is simply proper OEM replacement for the items that were damaged during the service.

They have a wonderful waiting area with guest WiFi, coffee bar, private bathroom, kids play activities, fresh magazines, and every charger you could ever need. I wasn't surprised when I found out Accurate Auto was owned by a woman. It's appointed like a nice Air B&B! It doesn't hurt that the front desk team of David and Mario are awesome and super friendly! One upon a time, out of a place deep deep in the gates of hell and sewers, one of the worst types of human cruelty decided to target my truck and steel my catalytic converter. Leaving me with a truck so loud that when driving home, every other truck was trying to get me to race it. So I ended up at the Toyota dealer who told me that I'm number 127 in line to get it replaced and the wait would only be 1 month. What da!? So I left it there to wait, wanting original parts. I can do this right. Then on a follow up call 2 weeks into the wait they confirmed that the wait will be more like 3 month. Three months?! As in 1,2,3? Also known as one, two, three? Just no. There has got to be a better way. So I call my usual mechanic who referred me to another mechanic who does custom work and they go by the name of Ripley's. I call and I said, "how long?" They said "5 hours". I said "what!" They said "um hmm" I said "go pick it up at Toyota". 1 hour later my truck is at Ripley's. 5 hours after that I get a text saying, "blah, blah, blah, Done! I'm like, " what? " They like "yeah". So in pure disbelief I zoom on over there. And there she is... glistening in the sun, with even a new anti-theft converter cover. My lovely vehicle that identifies as a Truck; was there waiting for me. And Tommy, the owner of Ripley's, was standing there with a red cape with a big "R" on his chest and my set of keys. He saved the day from a horrible 3 months of doom. From 3 months to 5 stars! THE END... And Prosper.
