They sent me pictures from the technician and gave me a description of each worn brake pad. At that time I didn't have the money they quoted me, and since then I've been driving around worried about mechanical issues and the money it would cost to get the work done. Recently, I realized I needed new tires, so I went to Sun and got a quote for new tires, brake pads, and a new TPM for the front passenger side. The cost of the brake pads, plus labor quoted at Sun was $2K cheaper than my dealership. I made arrangements to bring my car in today and they arranged a ride to take me back to work, which they paid for. A couple hours later they called to let me know I didn't need new brake pads and they still had about 60% life in them. They suggested replacing all four TPM'S, and I agreed. When I went to pick up my car, the cost for four new quality tires, all new TPM's, and an oil change was less than $1200. I will never return to my dealership and I will only do business with Sun Auto, as long as they keep up their epic service. I saved thousands of dollars today thanks to these guys. Since the purchase, the car has been plagued with ongoing mechanical issues, compounded by substandard workmanship and a continuous stream of excuses and false statements.
