Scammed out of my vehicle. I brought my Ram 1500 in for repair and was given a quote for $3,400. After all that, the shop claimed they couldn't fix the issue -- the truck was still running exactly the same. Then they suggested buying it from me if I wasn't willing to keep paying for repairs. A week later, I found out they sold the truck and claimed it was fixed. It's clear I wasn't the only one -- turns out other customers have had similar experiences. This feels like a bait-and-switch: quote high, claim they can't fix it, then flip the vehicle for profit. Completely unethical and dishonest. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

I brought my car in due to it not idling properly these guys had my car for 3 weeks and the only thing they could tell me was that I had some leaking radiator hoses and other leaks and minor issues not related to why I bought it in. They charged me to do a diagnostic and I did not hear anything on why my car was running the way it was . They suggested I run a fuel test which I approved them to do, 4 days went by and still nothing. So I was fed up due to this vehicle being my only vehicle I have. So I called and requested to pick up my car due to them wanting to wait another week to do my fuel pressure test, I just can't wait that long. So I told them to "not worry about it that im going to come get my car". Then proceeded to say they needed some time to put things back together to come at a later time, well I arrived at a earlier time to find out they were trying to run the fuel pressure test anyways when I showed up. So they lied to me to be able to do the test before I pick up my vehicle so they can still charge me for it. The lady got an attitude when I showed up earlier than she asked me to. Maybe because I caught them in a lie. She proceeded to talk about me on the phone when I was in the waiting room saying that "i guess it's such a big inconvenience for this guy that our mechanics are so tied up". in fact yes it is a big inconvenience when my car has been in your shop for over 3 weeks and nothing has been resolved . Maybe try working on the weekends and stop taking in so many vehicles so your guys can't catch up on work. I didn't get the name of the mechanic that talked to me after he did the fuel test, but this guy was a good guy no heat to the mechanics. These guys are overworked and have terrible management. They were supposed to check and then seek my approval before submitting anything to warranty company. Next day..no contact, called multiple times and wouldn't return my calls. I went to get the vehicle as I knew something was up. Upon arrival I learned they had submitted thousands of dollars worth of unnecessary and unapproved repairs to my warranty company without my knowledge or approval. I got the vehicle back and contacted my warranty company to advise them of this dishonest business's conduct and told them to cancel the claim and not to pay these crooks! Elizabeth is my niece and her and Josh came and picked up my 1989 mustang coupe and tremec tko 500 transmission the car which need to be repaired and restored and it been 4 yrs they took it from me. I had a stroke and really was not well enough to work on it I've given them plenty ways out by telling them if it get to expensive sell the car and trans all together. Then a buddy of mine offered to restore it they never gave it back. I got tired of them a offered to pick it up and the dayt before me and my friend were scheduled to leave SA cant drive very far from San Antonio I texted my sister and conviently they are going out of town after after a few minutes josh called me and gave me a ridiculous price of $15000 before they will release the car, I didn't know Chip Foose and Boyd Cottington are working at their shop. I just want my car and my trans back I'm on disability so I don't have a lot of extra cash. I'm willilling to pay a reasonable amout but $15k for a kindergarten paint job and a half built engine which the car has not been set up for is ridiculous to me. I brought my Ford E 350 here for the AC and told them it was a hose leak, they said it was something else and replaced that part instead they said. After spending more than $400 + my AC stopped working 1 week later. And had to take it to another mechanic. I feel they took advantage of me because I'm a woman and was passing through. Also they did an oil change and when I asked how the transmission fluid was they said I didn't have a dip stick for it , so I had to show them where it was. I have been coming to these folks for years. 7 I believe, before they were even at this location. I have a small sedan with 150,000 miles on it. I have only taken my vehicle in for repairs 2 times. They do all my maintenance, because I know if they do my maintenance I'm not going to have a problem with my vehicle. I have a 13 year old car with over 150,000 miles on it and it still runs great because of these folks. They are awesome. They treat you with respect and make you feel like family. I had a friend, who moved from up north, trying to get his vehicles inspected elsewhere and was getting the runaround at another place. They told him he needed to spend a couple of thousand dollars before they would pass it by Texas standards. Josh and Liz looked at the list of things they said and told him that they were trying to put one over on him. He got his vehicles inspected with no hassles and passed with flying colors. Brought my car here because it was overheating on the road and they held it for 3 days and when I showed up to pick it up they said there was no issue and proceeded to charge me $140 for a diagnostic fee. There was no diagnostic, they said they drove it around the block to see if it had issues but I brought it in with a full tank of gas and the tank was less than half full when I got it back. I left my car there for a COURTESY diagnostic and I ended it up calling the police and paying $100 for the courtesy. They said that my car has many mechanical issues which I didn't agree with it so I went back there to pick up my car and they told me that they wouldn't / couldn't give it back bc of CDC Covid guidelines ‍ ‍ because one of their mechanics got Covid. REALLY ??!!!!! I told them it's okay with me to have my car back and that I was fully vaccinated and I had disinfect wipes with me and I was using mask or they could just park my car out and leave the car keys so no personal contact would happen and bla bla bla.... How strange!!!! To take my car in it's okay, but to give it back it's not??!!!!!!! After much arguments they tried to convince me to leave there so they could fix it. Bc my car was not safe for ME to drive. Who should decide that??? It's up to me to decide if I can or cannot. These people are amazing. I could feel a vibration while driving my vehicle, but there was no light. I continued driving just thinking it was all in my head until it kept getting worse. Still no light but did not want to just wait for it to get so bad that the stupid light would come on. The first person I talked to his answer was a complete tune up which in my case would include 8 coil packs which are pretty pricey each. I went by Ruffino Express and they had all the right tools and equipment to find out what was wrong. They hooked up and ran a bunch of diagnostics and found that one coil pack was out. They had it in stock replaced it and I was on my way. The thing with Josh and Elizabeth is that they aren't into over charging or selling you something you don't need.
