She compliments me every time I'm there and I swear it makes my whole day. I came just for a routine state inspection and they were BUSY as heck. I didn't mind waiting at all but I was there quite a bit. Cassandra came into the office and told me I was all set. I told her awesome, but I still need to pay! She said NOPE. They went out of their way to take good care of me just because I had to wait a while, which I super appreciate that! As I was leaving Cassandra walked with me and just complimented me on my clothes and my hair. She's seriously such a gem! Amazing customer service. I'll be back here for sure

Staff members lied to me trying to turn a $18.50 vehicle emissions test into an unnecessary $400…read morebrake pad change. Went there on 8/29/2025 for a vehicle emissions test and was told that my front brake pads needed to be changed. Wanted to charge me around $400 but offered to take off $50 because my front brake pads were according to the staff member, "metal on metal". Declined due to price and having a neighbor that could help me change my brake pads. When we went to go change my brake pads, found that NONE of my brake pads were metal on metal, and that my front brake pads still had A LOT of life left in them. I unnecessarily spent $90 buying brake pads that I didn't need because the staff was dishonesty. Would've been out $400 if I had not decided to do it myself. It makes me wonder how many other customers the staff have scammed into unnecessary vehicle work through dishonesty. Paid for an AC diagnostic because my AC was not blowing cold, it turns out that I was just low on…read moreFreon, it took them 45 minutes to do this "diagnostic" to come back and try to tell me that I would need to spend an additional $230 or $240 to flush out my system and fill it up because they couldn't determine if the issue had to do with the air balance diverter in my dash, which they also said they were going to try and charge me so that they can "diagnose" that. First off, it took 45m to put in 5lbs of Freon? When this guy tried to tell me all this crap, he and I both knew that I was not gonna come back. I ended up, leaving from there went to Walmart got a can of Freon, put a third of that can in my system, and my AC has been blowing cold ever since. No air diverter Balance issues, probably no leaks that I can see because I'm looking at this thing with the black light. It turns out that my Freon was just low. Places like this, make it hard for honest hard-working people to get the help that they need. Some unlucky schmuck will end up spending hundreds of dollars because these guys wanna make a quick buck at the expense of someone else's ignorance. Do not go to this Pep Boys location, the service manager is a cheat and a shade tree Mechanic who wants to pray on the ignorance of others to make a quick buck.

Took my daughter's car to Quality for engine light a couple of weeks ago. Previously, another auto…read moreshop had replaced the gas cap in hopes that that was the issue for the evap system engine code from the diagnostics. That shop said that most of the time, a poor sealing gas cap is the problem for that system code, but to find out for sure a smoke test of the evap system would be required. Well, we hoped that the problem was solved so we passed on the additional cost for the smoke test with that shop. Soon after, the engine light came on again. So that's how I ended up taking the car Quality for the engine light a couple of weeks ago, so they could run the smoke test. Daniel ran the test (the same diagnostic code for evap system) and to my surprise, they called me in the shop area and showed me the smoke spilling out of the gas cap connection, which obviously was not fixed by the previous shop the first time. So we're happy with a new gas cap, but then a short time later the engine light comes on again - how aggravating! So, I took it back to Quality this morning and Joe remembered the car and me from the recent, last visit. Diagnostics showed an issue with the evap system again, but this time using a higher pressure system test on the evap system, they isolated the additional problem canister and completed the repair. Thinking this through, once they found the poor gas cap seal previously with the smoke test, (which I came in asking for at the suggestion of the other auto shop) replaced the gas cap and the engine light went off after test drive, it would not have been prudent at that time to try a different costly diagnostic (in this case, the higher pressure test.) I learned that the smoke test is a low pressure test, which perhaps would not reveal the problem with the evap system canister issue - at least that's how understand it (might be wrong.) Fair pricing for part and labor. Excellent service and personal attention to me - kept me in the loop on the issues regarding ordering the part (GMC problem with part number, not Quality's.) Miguel test drove the vehicle to ensure that the engine light was now no longer activated and I was good to go! I've used Quality for years for all of my vehicles and after using many automotive shops in the Spring area since 1990, Quality is the one I trust most. Mike and his team are good, honest people - just what one needs in an auto shop.

As soon as I walked in, it was nice to see how clean and spacious the establishment was. They have a TV, a drink area, and comfortable seats. They also have a mini desk if you want to take your computer and get some work done. I was greeted by Ignacio who was friendly and polite to me. He offered me something to drink and told me to make myself comfortable and that my inspection wouldn't take long. I kid you not, I made me a coffee and sat down for like 3 minutes and Ignacio came out saying it was done, just like he said. That's how fast they were!! I left with a good impression of this place and I know that next time that I need my car serviced, I know where I can bring it.
