These guys are the best on fixing your vehicles. Especially if you have time to leave it with them. I blew the heater hose and also had an idle problem with my 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500. This vehicle has over 270k miles on it and the original heater hose blew after picking my daughter up from Langham Creek HS. I was able to get there just as the temperature pegged the gage. Diagnosed that morning and had to order parts. The idle had to wait until that was fixed. Ended up being the throttle control sensor again. 4th one for this truck, as I found out by research, it's the most common replaced part for this model. The first 2 they got were faulty. 3rd was the charm and it's running smoothly again. Great work guys! read more

I've been here twice with two different cars. Only for battery replacement. Cost is the best I have found and they replaced it fairly quickly. The battery has a 3 year warranty (first 2 years free, 3rd year prorated). Nice owner and clean waiting room. Nothing to complain about. read more

I have taken various cars over the years.. great service, great people. I will be a customer for a long time

Top notch! Affordable prices. Customer service took care of me was very outstanding very friendly.

Best shop in the city! Always great customer service! People here actually seem happy to be working and answered my numerous questions in great detail. read more

Charged 1-1/2 hour time for a 20 min job. Rip off and extremely expensive. 1 hour past my appointment and no one even looked at my car and when it was taken it was done in 20 min and invoice shows 1 hour 30 min of labor charge. read more

I initially sent my car to a well-known religious auto place in Miramesa but was not satisfied with their service nor pricing even though I had previously been a loyal customer at a different branch. My gut feeling said to stay away, and a bit of research had me calling Copperfield for help instead. Copperfield got my car towed very quickly to their venue and they actually diagnosed the root of the problem that was missed by the other auto shop. Turns out I did not have my battery changed after all. I did wonder why the other guys said I needed to change it when it was just changed last year... Anyways, Copperfield saved me a whole lot of time and money. I liked Twan's responsiveness and direct style of communication. No need to waste my time with niceties, just get the job done and done well. I'm definitely coming back here in the future. read more

Twan and his guys are AWESOME. If you want skilled, honest mechanics who will always perform high-quality service at a fair price, these are the guys you need to come to. read more

They fix your car and don't break the bank! This place had great reviews online and I was hoping to get the same great service and satisfaction like everyone else. I did! :) I am so happy this place does not try to rip you off, just honest work here. They have worked on our old '97 car. It runs smooth because of this place. I would highly recommend this place to everyone I know. Most of the work is done in 1 to 2 days. read more

Thought I needed 4 brake pads, they told me only front pads and new rotors. Worked on time. Great price. Great communication. Will defenetly go back! read more

When my headlight went out I couldn't get into my Hyundai dealership at all for weeks... and I have to drive my car to work every morning while it's still dark. I didn't want to cause a wreck or get a ticket so I had to find somewhere else to go. So I found this place and they fixed it that same afternoon, in time for me to drive it to work the next morning. They've also been very good at maintaining my dad's Dodge Caravan. read more

Copperfield Automotive never disappoints! Professionalism isn't even a strong enough word to describe the employees here their sense of customer service. Every time you walk in here you are treated like family. They always give you options and on more than one occasion have told me that work wasn't necessary when other shops have tried to tell me otherwise. Can't recommend them enough! read more

Recently relocated to the area, we were in need of a reputable automotive repair shop to work on our vehicles. After checking online reviews we decided to use copperfield automotive to service our 2011 Ford Fusion. The crew at copperfield automotive did a great job diagnosing and repairing our vehicle at a reasonable cost. We will definitely use their services again. read more

This is a great place with nice people. I got good service at a reasonable price. My only issue is the parking is terrible. The tiny parking lot is jammed full of cars. I literally had to leave my car standing in the middle of the parking lot. That made me nervous. read more

Good, same day service. Not cheap, but they let me know what I was getting into before they did the work. Listed out all the parts prices, which I liked. Friendly people. read more

Honest professional mechanics you will not find anywhere else, except at Copperfield Automotive; period! Tuan is an extraordinary gentleman each and every time. This is my second year constantly impressed by their service. Highly recommend without reservations. read more

Copperfield Automotive - Business interior - Auto Repair Near Me - Houston, Texas

Took my car here for the first time this week for an oil change, tire rotation, and general checkup. Very professional, more than reasonable prices, and they know what they are doing. I would have given them 5 stars, but they did miss something during the checkup. However, when I took the car back they dealt with the situation professionally, telling me what was going on, how to fix it, and rather than charge me to fix it they even advised me to go to a competitor because it was in my best interest (I am moving soon, so they told me to go to a store with a national presence). Honest mistakes happen, and given how shady most mechanics are, I can tell this place is a gem. Would recommend if you live in the Cypress area! read more

I took my car in for a battery swap through a scheduled appointment, didn't have to wait long, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Tuan was very helpful and personable. Will definitely be back and refer all my people. read more

I absolutely love Twan and the service here. I never had any problems after service. They are professional and explain what's wrong with your vehicle. I never felt taken advantage of. Good location as well. read more

Would like to thank the staff at Copperfield Automotive for their assistant with my daughters car. She was in town to help me with my knee replacement and had a windshield replace the day before coming in to Houston. When she was ready to return she found that the windshield wiper were not making a complete swipe of the windshield. Took her car to Copperfield Automotive (and it was close to closing) they jumped right on it and had it fixed under 20 mins and AT NO CHARGE! Thanks for your effort. Bob F read more

I highly recommended this place. Tuan gives amazing customer service. Multiple times I have taken my car someplace else and then taken it here for a second opinion and every time the price has been lower here. Additionally, there's been at least a few times that I didn't even need to have anything done according to CA but the other places said I did. There has also been a few times that they have checked out my car and didn't even charge me if there wasn't anything that needed to be fixed. If you ever drive by there you can see that the parking lot is always full because tons of local people trust this place. It's so hard to find an honest mechanic, but there's guys are the best!! read more

Honesty Honesty Honesty!!! No wonder this place has five star review! I will be a loyal customer for this place from now on! I did a "free alignment check" at another auto shop and was told that my alignment and transmission system are both in very bad shape and quoted $1400+ for the repair. Based on my yelp research I found Copperfield automotive for a second opinion, and they told me all I need is an alignment which is 89.95 after Tax!!! I really appreciate the honesty of this place and I am glad to find a place that can take care of my vehicles without shady cross selling repairs that we do not need. read more

You can tell on the phone that these guys know what they are talking about. They give free estimates that take a lot of time and are done thoroughly. My Volvo mechanic recommended them (for non-Volvos, of course). He said that they are worth driving to and he was right. read more

They are great. I really appreciate the honesty and effort. The don't always charge the lowest but I am okay with that as I know they are not going to do unnecessary work. I have said do so and so.. and then they say it was fine.. we didn't do it- wasn't needed. Other shops would do it all and then some repairs/replacements that are not needed! Richard is great. Rode around with me to figure out the problem late one evening. We have taken our cars there for 15 years. My husband works for a auto parts company so we appreciate the integrity here! read more

Tuan saved me $20,000 today. We purchased a used car and brought it to him for a second opinion after it had already allegedly been thoroughly inspected. The team at Copperfield Automotive found rust spots on the frame beneath the car and we subsequently were able to return it because it had pre-existing structural damage. Our entire extended family trusts Tuan and his team explicitly and exclusively for maintenance on our 10 vehicles. They are thorough, efficient, and provide the highest quality service in the area at the most reasonable price. I cannot recommend Copperfield Automotive highly enough! read more

These guys are really good! I thought I had to replace my transmission completely on my SUV They ran a full diagnostics and determined it was two sensors causing the problems. I appreciate the integrity and honesty in approaching the repairs my vehicle needed and nothing more. They even noticed a nail in my tire and called me to let me know- top notch service! The communication was always timely and customer service minded. I'll be back and tell others about them. DalV read more

Highly recommend this place for your car needs. The owner truly cares about his customers and is honest.

Too Long, didn't read: Do not bring your vehicle to COPPERFIELD AUTOMOTIVE. They rush jobs and neglect to perform the most basic of procedures. -- I took my car to COPPERFIELD AUTOMOTIVE after my clutch gave out. I showed up mid-day on a Friday. I was told by the front desk secretary that the mechanics would probably not get to the job until Monday. This was fine, I would rather have the job done correctly than rushed. Two hours later I was told that the job was complete and I can pick up my car. To my disappointment, my car was not fixed. My clutch was still sticking and my car had electrical issues. What amazes me, is someone had to drive my car out of the garage and would of noticed the problem with the clutch. Also, my hand brake was not engaged and the weight of the car was sitting on my 1st gear. I called the front desk secretary to let him know that the clutch was still problematic and of the electrical issues. He then proceeded to tell me how to fix the problems myself. Only after protesting this, did he tell me to bring the car back on Monday so they could bleed the system; the most basic of procedures required when opening up any hydraulic system. When I got my car home and opened up the hood, I was shocked to find that the oil servicing cap had not been replaced properly and was falling into the engine compartment. When I returned on Monday to address the issue, the front desk secretary responded with a smirk and a 'sorry dude'. So this cost me the price of the repair plus a day off. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place, I will never be returning to COPPERFIELD AUTOMOTIVE. read more

I have taken 3 of my cars here. Even after being wrongly diagnosed and a quote from Louetta Automotive for a $2500 problem. I had the car towed to Copperfield Automotive and they fixed it for $350. I completely trust them. They are honest, reasonable, thorough, and fast. read more

This is by far the best auto repair shop I have ever used! They saved my husband over 1200 on a misdiagnosed problem and just saved my daughter over 40% from the dealership quote read more

I have a 2004 solara that had been great to me, but with age , tune ups are needed. I've searched high and low for a great automotive shop and hands down I have never been treated better by any shop than these guys. Amazing service. I'll admit I pretty much know nothing about cars and I'm usually pretty anxious about taking my cars in for repairs. I always worry that I'll be taken advantage of since I am so clueless. Copperfield automotive took those time to answer my questions and kept me in the loop on the status of my AC repair. Turns out I just needed to get it recharged and I'm so happy it was only $97 dollars to do. My car was only in the shop for a few hours so I was very pleased that they were reasonable quick with repair time. I will be only using copperfield auto from now on! Thank you for making me feel comfortable and raking the time to explain everything! read more

Disclaimer - they only LOOKED at my truck - didn't actually do anything to it. Now, with that being said... THEY LOOKED AT MY TRUCK AND DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO IT?!?! What auto place does that, and doesn't even charge you? Copperfield Automotive does. My truck hit 100,000 miles and the check engine light came on. I took it in, they had it for the day and said an emission sensor was out. They even called the dealership for me to see if it was still covered under warranty... because that's normal for an auto place. Nope, it's not, but it's amazing. I've lived in the area for 10 years and this was my first visit... but they gained new regular customer for sure. read more

Just had my 1st visit as a new customer. Tuan has a great personality. He was all ears with my concerns and told me exactly what would be done. I didn't get the "o lord here we go" feling with him that I've gotten at other shops. He doesn't try to push or sell you on anything. He tells you and you decide. Thank you Tuan, I'm your new regular client. See you soon. read more

I wouldn't go anywhere else to have my car repaired. They are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They take the time to thoroughly diagnose the problem and have never tried to pressure me into an expensive repair. I've been a customer for several years now and there have been a number of times when I thought I'd need major repairs but they were able to diagnose the problem and find an inexpensive solution. I can't recommend them enough! read more

Went back a few more times for different fixes, including brakes ... everything was done correctly and works fine.

Always a great experience here. Very honest and trustworthy people and they don't try to upsell you on stuff you don't need. This is our third time here and we recommend them to everyone. read more

We took our older model car that was making a noise, they said it was a loose hose that was leaking. $700 later They repaired the leak and we picked the car up. That night my daughter was driving it and said smoke was blowing in the car. We took it back and they said it was anti freeze blowing into the car and would cost $1500 to repair. They said it was a completely different problem than the original problem and they have nothing to do with each other! We spoke with the Owner he said he would not do anything and does not want to deal with the car anymore!! I find it really hard to believe they fixed a COOLANT leak and then we had COOLANT being blown INTO the air vents but they have nothing to do with each other!!! I have never been to a place that would not stand behind their repair! TERRIBLE!! read more

You will never find a better place to service your car. I have been taking my cars here for 26 years. They always do only what is needed. HONEST as the day is long which is almost impossible to find these days. I will never go anywhere else. I just can't say enough good things about this business. I have never heard one complaint from anyone that took their car here. Because they are so good, you should call a day in advance and arrange to drop your car at 7:00 AM. They book up quickly. They will provide a ride home if you need one as well. read more

I've been a customer at Copperfield Auto for the last 18 years from when they were on Cherry Park. Richard and his staff have always been great to deal with. He always takes the time to explain what's wrong with your car and the course of action they recommend. Pricing on the repairs always seems very reasonable. The repairs we have had done were always timely and we were always informed if there was going to be a delay. These guys are open early for drop off and late for pick up. read more
