Great, friendly service. These guys you can count on to be honest and professional. Very happy with our service here.

Misdiagnosed car twice. Even admitted they misdiagnosed it but still charged for the repair. After paying twice they said I needed additional repairs and wanted to charge again. I feel it is their responsibility since they misdiagnosed the car 2 times and was paid twice. read more

Highly recommend!! Always honest and excellent mechanics to get the job done correctly! I have been going there for years and highly recommend them for great work and professionalism and honesty, someone you can trust! read more

Had an awful time. Took the car in for a check engine light and got an invoice for a transmission module replacement with no phone call or even text message explaining why. Paid the 1.2k anyways because we've never had problems before and got NO warning that the car would still lurch randomly while the module was recalibrating. Instead I was told that I needed to warm the engine up before driving to avoid random rev. bursts when I took the car in the next morning looking for answers read more

Women Beware!!!!!! Cherry Park Automotive 77095, does a poor job diagnosing your vehicle. After having my vehicle towed to the shop they replaced the fuel pump a more expensive job. Two weeks later I was stranded on the side of the road again I went to a different auto shop, replaced the battery only to find out that it was the starter. Now I have to pay and have the starter replaced. I trusted that Cherry Park Automotive would service my vehicle and make the necessary repairs and I would be on my way. I called the shop to talk to the owner Jamal and he refused to talk to me, which lets me know that he does not value his customers. Use Cherry Park Automotive at your own RISK!!!!!!!!! read more

Jamal is why I use them. He makes sure all is right!!! Appreciate that integrity! Oil changes are also available.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the manager and the mechanics at Cherry Park Automotive; specifically at the Cherry Park location. I literally was a walk-in, seeking help as the undercarriage (lining) underneath my car was literally dragging on the street. I stopped at the nearest mechanic to ask if they could just please remove it. They were so gracious, kind & courteous. In lieu of removing the part, they fixed it! I do not live in the area but do frequent the area for other reasons. I plan to make an appointment to leave it with them so they can do a thorough inspection of a few concerns I have. They have gained my trust and look forward to doing business with them. Oh and I failed to mention, they did not even charge me! I was so grateful because I was at least 25miles from home and there was no way I could drive my vehicle on the expressway. This was hours before the winter storm was supposed to hit and I was anxious to get home; and figured they too needed to get home, that I sadly did not offer a tip! :( However, I do plan to make up for it! This automotive shop has truly won me over!!! I will tell all my friends who live in the area. Thanks again guys for not only getting me back on the road safely but for not taking advantage of a single lady in distress. I will see you in a couple of weeks! Cherry Park Automotive - Auto Repair Near Me - Houston, Texas

My family and I have been customers of Cherry Park for over 8 years taking my personal vehicles and my business vehicles along with referring family and friends. My visit on Saturday September 6th was by far the worst from the front desk manager - poor communication skills poor customer engagement - overall he was an ass... I've known the owner since we used to bring cars from Joe Myers over there and he's always been respectful and engaging don't know where they got this new guy from. I even heard him while I was in the waiting room being short and abrasive with two other customers this guy's going to ruin your business and definitely going to run your loyal customers away read more

Highly recommend coming here for your service! They were able to see me quickly & I was able to get the service I needed at a great price. I will be coming back! read more

This is for the West Road location. First of all I did not get any of the customer service people wrote about in previous reviews. Outside of receiving my quote via a text link, there was no communication from them to me. I decided not to get the repairs done and when I went to pick up my vehicle, they told me that it no longer starts. I drove the car there the day before. Somehow, after their inspection, the car won't even start. No one contacted me to let me know that this could happen with the inspection and get my approval before doing it. Nor was I contacted about my car not starting. I had to find out when I went to pick up the car. Not only is the car not fixed, it is worse than it was when I took it there. This could have been handled so much better. Stay Away! read more

Took F-150 pickup in 1 month ago for air conditioner and of course it needed a new one plus several hose couplings repaired. Almost $3000 later, air won't cool down cab and took it back without any resolution. Had used them for 15 years but doubt I will return read more

Pure life-savers (more than once)! Kind, thorough, fair -- Cherry Park is remarkably awesome. One of the few places I would trust with my Toyota. read more

Ryan at the West Road location is the best. My catalytic converter got stolen while I was visiting family in TX. Cherry Park West Road repaired my car quickly and got me back on the road. I returned home to FL & 11 months later, the part that was replaced started to fail. Ryan worked with me & my mechanic to get the part replaced here in FL as it was still under manufacturers warranty. I would definitely recommend Cherry Park Automotive to anyone in the Houston area. They stand behind their work and keep their word. read more

I want to give a shoutout to Ivan! A notification on my car said vehicle maintenance required, so I took it to the shop. Turns out it needed an oil change!! I had NO idea what that even was since I'm a new driver and car owner. They took care of it for a good price, so I'm happy. read more

I see some reviews of people saying that they're hesitant based on other reviews. I don't think people should base their decision solely off of reviews. Most reviews are based off of a bad experience. I recently bought a used Mercedes Benz and I was having a problem with one tire that kept losing air. I brought it to Cherry Park and they found a screw and a nail in my tire! This is after I had already brought it to discount tire twice and they said that they didn't see anything in my tire. After Cherry Park plugged the tire, I kept experiencing the same issue. At this point I was frustrated and ready to just buy a new tire, but they offered me one more solution to try before making a big purchase. They took the entire tire off, submerged in water to find air bubbles, but didn't find anything. They even took the rim off and I think cleaned it up (I'm not a car/tire expert, so I might be a little off on exactly what they did). The point is that they didn't push me into just spending money on new materials. They tried to save me money. In the end, I ended up buying a new tire. I appreciate everyone who works at this business and I trust them with my car and money. read more

I have been coming here for years. I trust the techs here to diagnose and get the job done. I've had a serious A/C issue corrected initially and kept coming back ever since for regular maintenance. read more

Cherry Park Auto - Beware!! Crooks!! Third strike for me, only this time the failure to repair correctly is costing me a engine, and of course the owner will not even return my phone call to explain. They have a great service manager (Will) but the quality of the work from the mechanics is horrible and the owner cares nothing about it. I have been in business for over 35 years. I respond to every communication request from my clients and I stand by all of my work. Guess that business ethic principle never reach Cherry Park. Maybe others have had better results, but if you have not tried them yet. Don't. You will not like the results. The owner - is a crook. read more

I went and got a third opinion and they said I just needed a compressor and the lines to be flushed, I went with them and only paid $800 and now my AC works Cherry Park Automotive said they would give a discount if I paid cash, and they give military discount, but I feel like they were gonna charge me for parts I did not need. read more

SCAM ALERT !!!!!!!!! SCAM ALERT!!!!!!!! This is for anyone that is planning on coming here or has already been here. My 4x4 light started flashing this Friday so took my Toyota in to get it checked out next morning. They called me later and told me it was my transfer case needing to be replaced and the total was 2,849.06 to repair and also that I needed a few other things. I took it to another shop this weekend and they told me that the actuator was dirty inside and it took them all of 20 minutes to remove it clean the contacts with sandpaper degrease and boom my 4x4 was working . The mechanic said that whomever looked at my truck should have known that this is a common issue and that the dirt and water gets in if breather tube comes undone which it had been for some time and that was the root of the problem, he showed me the hose which you could see clear as day it was not hard to miss. Any how this Cherry Park Automotive was ready to bend me over for 2,500.00 for one ship hour of labor. Stay day away from this place and if your a current customer I hope you read this. When the mechanic gave me a ride home from Cherry Park after dropping of my vehicle originally he told me that they had a similar issue with an Infinity 4x4 and that the transfer case needed to be replaced and now I see the pieces of the puzzle coming together. I hope whomever reads this knows now what other would have wished to have known before stepping into to this place and getting told do you want to keep your vehicle because here's what's wrong. That's the stress it put me through when they told me that at Cherry Park . Bad Bad people. read more

Dishonest mechanic shop! BLOOD SUCKER! My check engine light was on 3 weeks ago, they diagnosed the problem, replaced ignition coil and valve cover gasket. They charged me $400 for that. I checked the ignition coil parts price online, they charged more than double of the online price ($90 versus $40 online), moreover it's not even have a brand name on it! I paid them $55 for the valve cover gasket set versus the online price of $20. Despite to the over-priced parts, they still charged me labor cost of $120. Well, as a lady who know nothing about car, I put my trust on them. I don't mind to pay higher as long as they can do a thorough diagnose and resolve the issue once for all. But, I'm WRONG, 3 weeks later, my check engine light is on again, I went back to them, they told me another problem to fix, now it's oil control valve issue, and to replace the "timing solenoid", they quoted me $300!!! which the online price is ranked from $100 TO $150, and of course the labor charge and the misc which total up to $500!!! They're really blood sucking vampire!!! I questioned them why the diagnose was not done completely 3 weeks ago, as I have been over-paid them last round for the services and parts. They claimed they didn't see it and they can't ensure another issues will come up again. What a lame excuse, they had open up the engine and they were overlooked the oil control valve which is just next to the ignition coil? I tried to get help from another male customer sitting there waiting for oil changed, he told me he just come here for oil change, he never let them do other stuffs of his vehicle. I wanted to take my car back, but they have broke the timing solenoid, and they just put it back and told me it will be leaking. Very cool blooded, if anything happen to my car when I drive it back (my daughter with me) , they're the murderer! Bottomline, just avoid this shop. Over-priced with bad service, dishonest, irresponsible and blood sucker. One more thing to add on, the waiting room have a broken water dispenser, there is no water, I told the front desk, no water and that's it, they're not going to do anything.. Even I waited and paid for $400. read more

Stay away from these guys they take you for a ride and then some, if given the chance they will Just throw parts at you and believe me they are not cheap I took my 2012 GMC Sierra due to some electrical problem they told me I needed a new battery and alternator they charged me $700+ dollars claiming that would solve the problem. 2 weeks later guess what?? There it was again I take it back it took them a couple days to come up with $1,200+ repair claiming the driving control module was defective and blah blah blah. 2 months later guess what? Yes you guessed it, the problem came back so this time I decided to ask a friend for help he recomendé his friend who came to my house, charged me 50 dollars for the visit hooked up his computer to my truck and told me that the problem was a $14 dollar ground wire, so I replaced it and Let me just say that I was way beyond pissed about this situation. I hope this helps keeping you away from this place. DO NOT USE THEM, SERIOUSLY THEY ARE NO GOOD AND HAVE NO PROBLEM TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!!!!!! read more

We have taken 4 different vehicles to this shop over the last couple of years and have never had an issue. The staff is friendly and honest, and I have never left feeling like I was ripped off. The establishment is clean and professional, and the services are fairly priced. If your car needs repairs they will discuss the source of parts (OEM vs aftermarket) with you, including warranties, etc. This is now my go-to auto shop for all my vehicles. Oh... for the record... I am a lady who has been there with a little kid in tow, and they STILL didn't try to rip me off. My husband is a diesel mechanic, so we would know. (Can you tell I am not a fan of rip off auto establishments?) I would suggest this place to a friend, and in fact have mentioned it to neighbors. read more

Been here a few times in the past year, these guys have been honest each time. They are probably the least expensive place for regular maintenance for foreign cars, specifically german cars. I had a major issue with my master cylinder and these guys gave me a great price when compared to a the dealership and another place I was going to. I know the stigma that some mechanics shops have as being scams and seedy, but this place is clean, quality staff, and you usually wind up talking to the actual owner so you can a put a face to the place's name. Haven't had one bad experience here yet, and been recommending this place to my family and friends. read more
