The general repair was done well and works but I took my vehicle (2006 Lexus GX470) in for a dash removal service. When I picked it up, multiple wood trim pieces and both A/C vents were cracked. These parts were not damaged before the service, and the damage is consistent with improper pry tool use or forced removal. When I brought up the damage, the shop offered aftermarket replacements that did not match OEM quality or finish. After I declined the aftermarket parts, the shop told me they "could not do anything further." I have spent months trying to source OEM replacements myself, and the cost is significantly higher than what the shop offered. The shop has refused to cover the proper OEM repair. This review is not about the repair being difficult -- it's about the lack of accountability and the refusal to restore the vehicle to its original condition after causing visible damage during their work. If you care about your vehicle's interior, especially OEM trim, I would strongly recommend choosing a different shop. UPDATE: Response - There was no detailed discussion or explanation of specific interior trim risks before the work. - I was never presented with or asked to sign any disclaimer regarding interior damage. If the shop has a signed copy, I've requested it but have not received one. - The wood trim, vent assembly, and glovebox panel were not damaged prior to the service and the new damage is consistent with improper removal tools and handling, not age-related failure. - Aftermarket Amazon parts offered to me do not match OEM Lexus materials, so declining those is not "declining a solution." I've sent the shop a detailed email directly so this can be addressed privately and professionally. My goal is simply proper OEM replacement for the items that were damaged during the service. read more

Called last minute on a Monday morning to have annual emissions test on our two cars. David answered and said there was no appointment needed and to come on in. They were able to take our cars right away and service was great. We were in and out in 18 minutes! They have a wonderful waiting area with guest WiFi, coffee bar, private bathroom, kids play activities, fresh magazines, and every charger you could ever need. I wasn't surprised when I found out Accurate Auto was owned by a woman. It's appointed like a nice Air B&B! It doesn't hurt that the front desk team of David and Mario are awesome and super friendly! My husband took the car to get a tire rotation and check engine light checked. When he inspected the car after the service was complete he noticed the tires had NOT been rotated. They swore up and down that they did the service, but they did not. The two new tires with their marks were not moved from their original place. "Bring it back after the weekend and we will check it again," they said. What?! Oh, and it will cost $600 to replace your battery because we have to reset the alternator. The battery is 9 months old. How is it already dying? When my husband got the car home, his father noticed a loose wire running to the battery. He tightened it up and the check engine light is no longer on. I would never take my vehicle back nor recommend this place to anyone. I went in yesterday for a free brake inspection, they found the issue which was right tire that I knew was the problem cause of the rust on the rims, they inspected, come in with my worn out brake pad, told me it really needs to be replaced and not driveable like this, then quote me $1600 to do all 4 brakes and rotors which is ridiculous, I said I don't want to pay that and the response was, "I CANT LET YOU DRIVE OFF LIKE THAT!" I drove it in take in mind, he also said he couldn't put it back on in that condition, and that they had drained out my fluid. Take in mind, a Free inspection! They tried to give me no option, trying to trap me with their EYE GOUGING Price! NO! I took my truck to a buddy that's a mobile mechanic and he fixed it parts and labor for a total of $600 for all 4 brakes and rotors. And fix it in 1.5 hours same say. I even checked the truck and they lied, the fluid was not drained, the old brake was put back and I was able to drive it over to my friends to fix it. Smh! I came in for an advertised $50 oil change and when I went to check out I was then informed that it would be $116. When I asked why they said because I needed a special oil. Shouldn't you let me know that ahead of time? He also said that it would have been cheaper for me to go to the dealership. Iwill NEVER come back here again. Jessica that you for reaching out. Kid on the phone told me my axle was broken alone with other issues. So I went there because I called bullshit, not a broken axle but a worn down CV joint. Then they wanted almost 2 grand for and alternator replacement and cv joint + axle replacement. I kept asking what the hell that was paying for because labor numbers didn't add up. The new GM called me because I wasn't about to get screwed over and I was going to take my business else where. fixed the numbers, and I agreed for them to replace and fix the problems with the vehicle ONLY TO PAY 1430$ so that when I drove it home from getting "fix" for it to BREAK DOWN AGAIN. Hey I have my son take his truck to get an oil change and they couldn't put air in the tires or top off the fluids. When I got home I checked his truck because he was going back to college and was leaving at 6 AM all right I'm taking it back up to them. Instead I had to go get some power-steering fluid and put air in all four tires at the gas station and on top of that they tried to charge him to change his Power steering fluid for over 100 bucks. Accurate is wonderful. I have used them many times, for shocks, breaks, a battery, and I always use them for oil changes and other maintenance. The service is always wonderful and fairly priced... BUT HERE IS THE MAIN REASON FOR THE REVIEW: The other day I went in with what I believed to be a transmission issue. I was under the impression that the warranty on my vehicle was long over due but one of the service advisors knew different. Apparently Nissan had extended the transmission warranty because of a "known issue" and I was covered even tho i didn't know it! The service advisor contacted Nissan and was able to get me a same day appointment! It is my belief that most shops would have not been aware or worse keep that information private. Their helpfulness and honestly was so refreshing! Instead of saying "The transmission needs work, do you have a warranty on it? No? Well we can fix it for you for a million dollars :)" They did the right thing - I honestly feel like they should be commended. They do great work, and I'm sure lots of others do, but to have someone who is not just interested in making a buck, but treating people fairly in the process is important to me! Another thing I have noticed in waiting for my car so many times, the staff always seems playful and happy, they smile, and treat each other just as kind and friendly as they do the customer. This tells me they feel good about the business they work for. Do not use this shop. Took my wife's 2017 Lexus for an inspection sticker and oil change last month. She had to take it to work in clear lake on 9/19, during the tropical storm. On way back the oil light came on! Due to flooding, she was diverted into Houston, where the engine starts knocking! My wife pulls over, checks the oil which is gone! At this point we call AAC and Cindy, the owner tows the truck back to her shop. It gets better. Cindy agrees to preform no work on the car. We agreed that we would have it delivered to Lexus the next day. That next day, Friday before they opened, the manager takes it upon himself to lift the vehicle and add oil completely against our wishes! Cindy suggests to us, in writing, that she was heavily medicated and did not recall the conversation from the night before, which we still have it texts! So, they damaged my new, low mileage Lexus, and tried to cover it up!To add salt, the manager who performed the cover up, Mark, drives the car to Lexus that Friday where it sits today. Lexus has now identified extensive engine damage and recommends a complete replacement of the motor. Their insurance has denied our claim, suggesting that my wife's driving caused the damage, not the shops negligence. They broke the gasket around the oil drain which allowed the oil to spill out. They will not cover the $18,000 engine and I am now calling lawyers and my insurance to step in. This shop is negligent and incompetent. They destroyed our two year old luxury car, with their failure to perform a simple oil change. They brag about their 40 years of experience, but can't even do a simple oil change, then they use that experience to attempt to cover up their malpractice! Avoid this shop at all costs. Do not trust them. They are endangering people's lives with the complete incompetence. Drive and extra mile and take your cars to a reputable shop. If they take responsibility and make us whole, as they have suggested many times in writing, I may change my tune. However, as of right now, my opinion, This place sucks! It's hard for me to rate these guys now. I first found these guys when looking for some real expert advice instead of the typical platitudes from "parts changers". Dennis helped me identify what no one else could find, and in general was helping me work through simpler, much much cheaper options than the other guys. The jury is still out on my main issue, but now Dennis no longer works there. On my second oil change the mechanic buckled both my driver-side and passenger-side floorboards by not placing his hoist properly. I've been back to get it resolved several times and every time they tell me that either the mechanic that did it or the owner that needs to be there to see it isn't there. Classic runaround; "come back tomorrow". Otherwise the staff seem to be fine, honest and good but without taking responsibility for damaging my car, I can't help but feel that the owner is just in it for money on a short-term basis and not about building reputation. I'm afraid without Dennis there, they're just another "parts changing shop". I'm tempted to give a better numerical rating, but by damaging my car on only my second visit I have to give them a lower number Where are you Dennis? read more

The staff is friendly, but after a third visit to fix a simple change of radiator my car still registers hot (even had a new thermostat put in) and now battery is dying. Not sure if it is related, but after getting a runaround about why things with the radiator were not fixed correctly the 1st time around. I am taking my chances somewhere else. read more

This place saved me a ton of money and was honest with me. I attempted to take advantage of an inspection special from a dealer. They did not pass me because they stated some items were leaking under the hood (rack and pinion assembly and power steering pump) and then shared that it would be inconvenient to try and show me. It was going to be nearly 4k to repair with them. That raised a red flag for me so I took it to Accurate to review. I took my son's truck to the shop to have "check engine light" looked at. (I had already taken it to Advance Auto and they ran the codes for me for FREE.) Accurate did "diagnostics test" and got the same codes. They realized the truck was extremely low on oil so they did an oil change. That clear the "ck engine light" BUT they weren't convinced so they "test drove it FORTY MILES to "make sure it stayed off". RIDICULOUS!!!Then charged me $225 for basically an oil change!!! The manager claims their diagnostic test ($125) is very high level BUT basically got same results as the FREE Advanced Auto. Will never go back!! read more

They replaced my battery with one of their batteries and when I tried to go back to tell them they stole my battery because I know what exact battery I had in my car, but of course they denied EVERYTHING. WARNING!!! WHAT A JOKE!!! I also would give a ZERO rating if possible. It's ridiculous to think you'll take your car to a shop and spend over $500 and not have anything done. My car was overheating one day so I decided to change my thermostat. Once that was finished I begin to put fluid back into the radiator and noticed it was coming out of the block itself. So I thought it was a water pump problem and took it to a shop because I have a four-cylinder front wheel drive. Little too much work for the equipment I have. Upon examination he called me and said that my radiator pressure line O-rings coming out of my block are busted out and need to be replaced. And I said well what do you think the reason was they blew out he said that they would look. They replaced and O-ring on my radiator hard line coming out of the block. Did a couple other things that I didn't even ask them about. And then charged me $578.98. The inspection ticket says that they inspected for overheating but what they fail to do was actually look for the reason it was overheating. My cooling fan on my radiator has a faulty motor. It does not work. But they tried to tell me that it happen today and that I would need to pay to have that fan replaced. He denied any responsibility and said that it was my fault because I didn't tell him what all was wrong when they verbally said as well as put on the ticket that they will check for the problem. WARNING!!! Do not take your car to these people. They will rip you off and make you do your own work anyways. By the way he said that to me verbatim, "If you go to auto zone you can get the part to install." That's after telling me he can't fix what he got wrong, even though I'll buy the part. This company does a very good job on the mechanical services. And- I do believe, that they are honest about what needs to be repaired, they do honor their warranties, and the prices are comparable to the area. But - be very careful on the "freebies" sent via email or mail; and look at your bill before you pay them and be sure that you have not been charged for that "freebie" or any other item that should not be on there. Because once you pay them - *quote: They are not setup to refund money- :un-quote*. Even though I was told to come back to get a check..... I was told again on my return- "they are not setup to refund money" and did not know why someone would tell me this (to come back and get a refund check). They advised they could give me a credit- which i said "Fine!" - as I walked out the door. It's not the $30... it's the principle and the ethics involved with this that bother me. Customer service desk lady is rude and angry. She is not professional by any means. She is the sole reason for the one star rating. I'd rather go to the dealer and pay full price for manufacturer parts and service. At least at the dealer they aren't rude and won't talk down to and belittle the customer. Only person there that's worth anything is Kevin. I was stranded 8 hours from home because of the service woman. The job they did is why my vehicle is sitting in the driveway currently not running. I had to tow my vehicle back to Houston because she wouldn't give me the warranty information. By the time I got the information the warranty people were closed. She couldn't be bothered to help me.
