Even the takeout packaging was on point

Le Emperor saved our butts this past Valentines Day. While the day began with other plans, a very sick foster pup forced us to cancel our dinner reservation and order local. After a lot of back and forth my partner and I finally agreed on Le Emperor. Confined to the house, we were limited to placing an order for takeout or delivery. While I didn't voice my opinion at the time, I was concerned that the takeout experience would put a damper on the meal. I was wrong. The mango salad is now a new favorite of mine, and a dish I strongly suggest ordering. The flavors are bright, and acidic, sweet, yet savory. The dish hits all of the right notes. My husband ordered the vermicelli. It was his first experience with vermicelli and to my surprise he tackled most of the dish without adding the accompanying sauce. My salmon was equally satisfying. While we were sad to see the former business go, we're so happy to find Le Emperor a fitting replacement. We will be back!

Great service & delicious food! This little hidden gem is a MUST TRY! Went with my son for a little date night of appetizers & dessert and Le Emperor did not disappoint! Went has the dumpling & grandma's egg rolls both were super yumm! My son got the chocolate and he loved it, I thought it was okay. They give you a crème brûlée spoon when you are done with your meal & it was such a nice treat! Can't wait to go back again!

The food is amazing and the service was great. The pink lady was our server and she took great care of us. We loved all the food and will be back.

From start the finish, I was taken in a journey. Stepping into this restaurant, the decor made you feel like you were in another part of the world. The service was impeccable and on point. The food had my taste buds dancing and me smiling all throughout the meal. I did not even take a picture of the appetizers- shrimp spring rolls, blue crab spring rolls, and tofu spring rolls. Do not pass on this gem. The level at which they deliver freshness, flavor, and a well presentation is purely divine. I will be back again and again.

Upscale Vietnamese? Why not? Le Emperor fits the bill with a stylish dining room and a menu that might be fine dining in Saigon. Presentation counts here and everything ordered was picturesque. We started with Grandma's egg rolls. Elegantly plated and sliced to make eating easier, these were filled with seafood and pork. Grandma knows a thing or two about cooking. Shrimp dumplings were perfectly pursed and bursting with flavor and the president's Hanoi vermicelli was fit for a king (don't tell Trump). With well seasoned beef, amazing meatballs and grandma's eggrolls accompanying the vermicelli, this is indulgence. Declining dessert (who had room?), leads to a complimentary spoon of creme brûlée and wish that you had more room. Service is attentive and thoughtful. Definitely an experience worth repeating.

You always hear "If you want great food, you have to go into the city." Finally, there's an exception. This place delivers on food, ambiance, and service--all without the usual compromises. Appetizers We started with the egg rolls and artichokes, and both were standouts. The egg rolls are Northern Vietnamese-style, served warm with lettuce wraps--fresh, balanced, and absolutely addictive. The artichokes were the star of the meal. Tart, herbaceous, crunchy, and perfectly executed. Every bite fired on all cylinders. Mains We ordered the lemongrass shrimp and the whole fried snapper. Portions were spot-on. The snapper was expertly prepared, with the fillets already removed and served alongside an arugula salad and rice. Clean, thoughtful plating. The shrimp were large and perfectly cooked, served with sticky rice and a coconut cream sauce that added just the right touch of sweetness. Truly outstanding. Service This is where everything came together. Lucas was a top-notch server--knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic. He offered thoughtful recommendations and shared a brief history of the family behind the restaurant. Food arrived promptly and hot, exactly as it should. By the end of the meal, it was hard to tell who was more grateful--us or them. Final Thoughts If, like me, you long for fresh, well-executed food from a non-chain restaurant that isn't designed to over-serve you into submission, this is the place. Support your local community and give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

I went there for lunch last week. I had a taste for Vietnamese Beef Stew, and not many place have it. Le Emperor supposedly had it, so I stopped by. This place turned out to be a very high end Vietnamese restaurant. Long story short, the food and service were great and the prices were reasonable. They also had a lunch menu, although their Beef Stew wasn't one of the offerings. As shown in the photo, the Beef Stew was served in a crock with a fresh roll. Upon finishing my meal, the server brought a spoon on a small dessert plate. The spoon had something in it covered with a shiny brown glaze. I asked her what it was, but couldn't understand her answer, so I tasted it. It was Crème Brûlée and it was delicious!

I found this place through google and was definitely not disappointed. Upon arrival they were very tentative to us and the ambiance was very cozy . They offered a variety of different drinks from wines to mocktails . We started off with The coconut shrimp which were phenomenal 10/10. after that for our entrees we got two Le emperor Pho which were large and very flavorful they poured the broth on our noodles table side. Quan was an amazing waiter and brought the dessert menu out to us and answered any questions we had. For our dessert we got the Banana flambé which was amazing and a nice little show with the fire. Once we were done Quan brought us out the crème brûlée on the house ! He definitely made a great first impression for us and treated us amazing. The menu was well priced ...We will be back !

I'm back again. I can't say enough amazing things about this place. I have a new item however you MUST try! The "SPECIAL TEA" is sooooo good. It gives you a relaxed feeling and the presentation is just perfect. The service here is next level. Everyone is so kind. The owner steps outside the front door and waves and says hello even if I'm simply walking by. It just so happens, they have amazing food and the coolest ambiance ever.

Came here early Friday evening and place was not yet packed. The waiter was really nice and gave us good customer service. Their menus were light up cool so we knew we picked the right place. We ordered: spring rolls, mango shrimp salad, red snapper, and shaking beef. All were amazing and cooked so well! The spring rolls had a crunch and the peanut sauce was creamy. The mango salad had the right amount of citrus with salty. Red snapper was cooked very well and cut for easy eating. Just a heads up to be aware of tiny bones. The beef was melt in your mouth cooked to perfection. They are on the pricier side for vietnamese food, but their style is very elevated and worth the price. The ambiance in there is also very relaxed and warm. Definitely will go back!

    The House Made Lime Cake

The best Vietnamese food in Houston, hands down! As someone who has visited Vietnam & also eaten Pho all around the US - I have to say Le Emperor is the best Vietnamese restaurant I've ever been to - in my life! I went there Thursday and went again on Friday lol The Le Emperor spring rolls are so delicious- every flavor u could desire is there. Then I ordered the veggie pho and my friend the Le emperor's pho & both were amazing bc the broth was so flavorful, savory & rich w all the flavors u want in a pho broth. Words cannot explain it - pls just try it. Also - the desserts - omg - they make a chocolate mousse cake and a lime cake - (i could cry thinking about it) - they r so delicious it honestly should be illegal. The chocolate mousse cake was like art to see and taste! Then lime cake was so refreshing and delicious and unique in flavor u cant get enough. Pls do go enjoy. Oh & look how they prepare their takeout. The to-go container is designed in a flower. =) so beautiful! My favorite restaurant in Houston/Cypress!

The table we chose was clean, but the seats and floor weren't. The host kindly cleaned it up for us. We sat for quite a while before asking a staff member for water. We also requested lemons, but they never came, so we let it go. We ordered large bowls of chicken pho, and that was definitely the highlight. The portions were generous and packed with flavor, with a great balance of chicken and noodles. Midway through the meal, we ordered lemonade. The host didn't seem too happy about it and went to the back for a while. It seemed like it might be made from powder since she grabbed ice from the front machine. Then we found out it was $5, which was surprising. Service-wise, it felt a bit off at times, but you could tell they were trying. We did share a few laughs with the male waiter, which helped the experience. At checkout, we got a percentage off for Mr. Pho's 7th anniversary at this particular location, which was a nice touch.

I simply Googled Pho restaurants because I find giant bowls of soup to be quite comforting. This was on a random Sunday afternoon. Well, I just happened to be here in Cypress, Texas about 25 miles away from Houston and kaboom! Pho Bo 2 was located right off Highway 290 in a giant shopping plaza. From the outside appearance Pho Bo 2 looked pretty modern. I had a good feeling that I would enjoy the food here. Upon entering, there were plenty of tables and chairs featured and best of all they were open for dine-in during this pandemic! It wasn't too crowded which I actually liked so this way I could get served quickly (though most Pho places have fast service regardless) because I was hungry! Pho Bo 2 had all your typical food, appetizers, rice, plates and of course Pho soups...lol, the only reason why I ever come for Vietnamese. They offered 40 different Noodle Soups along two pages of the menu. What stood out to me and which I've had success with in the past is Pho soup including egg noodles, pork, shrimp and my new favorite item...quail eggs. I went with Soup #37...the Hu Tieu Mi...which combined rice and egg noodles with quail eggs, shrimp and pork...and for $8.95...an absolute bargain! I also got hot tea which I believe they charged an extra $1. With tax and tip the meal cost $15. Within 5 minutes or so, the soup came out. It appeared really colorful looking with a nice brown broth to it. I also noticed large pieces of pork, shrimp, quail eggs and little green scallions which I'm a fan of. And of course buried underneath the soup were the rice and egg noodles. From my first impression, I was excited with what I received. This #37 was very good. The broth was tasty and the pork was generally lean and not too fatty. I was disappointed with the shrimp. I believe there were only 2 shrimps in the soup and they weren't deveined. Grrr...why wouldn't they take a little time to devein the shrimp? This made me feel like they weren't fully cleaned. Ah, okay so the shrimp let me down. Still, for the occasion and for desiring Pho...the soup was definitely satisfying. Although they only offer 1 size for all their soups, I was actually left yearning for a little more after I devoured the bowl. Maybe I could have found a quick appetizer to start with. Finally, for spontaneously coming across this place on my Google Maps while driving...Pho Bo 2 was a general success. If I happened to be living in Cypress, I would return here. I felt like they were reliable and good enough in terms of quality with their Pho soup. My overall experience was a positive one.

Supposedly they'll charge you for an extra bowl of rice and I don't think that was the case though. I also ordered a jasmine milk tea w/ matcha boba and it tasted less flowery which is good for my liking and I didn't even taste any matcha flavor to the matcha boba that was like crystal boba though. Something I noticed inside was that whenever other customers left after dining in, the waiter didn't clear and clean the tables right away and I understand if he was busy though. I'm thinking it was bc there weren't alot of customers when we came in and he was probably gonna wait until more people would come in later. But overall most of their food is great and hopefully I'll be here eventually to try some of their other foods. :)
