The phở had a rich, flavorful broth, the meats were tender, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. The sizzling beef with egg was also outstanding and cooked perfectly. On top of the amazing food, the service was top-notch. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Our drinks stayed full, the food came out quickly, and they made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant itself is also very nice--it's clean, spacious, and the air conditioning works great, which made the dining experience even more comfortable, especially on a hot Texas day. The large is about $1.50 more but is substantially bigger than the medium. There are sample bowl sizes near the cashier. Prices are about average for the area in this day and age. Taste for the pho and banh mi were both good. The pho soup was tasty. We haven't had chance to try anything else. This restaurant is very cute and we love the little characters they created. One of them is a very cute water buffalo with one chopstick in each hand ready to eat. We have been frequenting this place at least twice a week. Their food is very fresh and delicious. We often have the Shaken Beef, pho and vermicelli. I tried the curry today. It is delicious! It reminded me of the Singaporean coconut curry, but I don't think there was any coconut. It was still yummy! Their dishes are not overcooked or oversalted, as many restaurants cook these days. We love to support the mom and pop restaurants and this one is definitely a treasure. The owner is happy to please and very sweet. This week is their one year anniversary and they are discounting 20% off your meal this week and next week to celebrate their being in business one year. I love that this is locally owned business. Staff is very friendly. Here's my take: Positives...good food. Dumplings were my fave. Pho and rice and bahn mi are good. If Biff's wants to wow their clientele, given that there are many pho places around, this is what's needed IMO. A little less shortening and a larger portion would be better for the fried rice. It couldn't be shared; more of an individual serving. Dumplings were delicious but also small. A 6 or 8 count option would be great. Spring rolls were great. The pho was good. Desserts looked really great going by, but we didn't try them this time. My girls' fave is the boba tea! Sooo yummy, especially with rainbow jellies! Overall a nice, clean place. Nice soothing music playing. The menu seemed to have plenty of everything on it. We started with egg rolls, and fried dumplings to start. Both came out quick and were delicious and cooked perfectly. We both had the pork bahn mi and we were both impressed. The bread was perfect, crunchy on outside and fluffy on the inside. All the vegetables seemed fresh, the pork was nice and tender. We ordered the boko, pho and a rice plate. All were not good. The boko had cold beef and a weird flavor. The pho had no flavor and the beef tasted old. I don't understand the positive reviews. Decided to come here in a Wednesday and it was not packed. As soon as we came in we were greeted and could sit anywhere we wanted. As it was our first time there we decided to get pork spring rolls (9/10), beef skewers (5/10) not bad but nothing special, a pork banh mi (7/10) nothing crazy but very good, my gf doesn't like that they do pate on the bahn mi but I liked it, and the pho (7/10) it was very traditional pho but not heavy seasoned. The food was hot and took about 10-15 minutes to get everything, you can tell they make everything as ordered. The Thai tea was good but nothing special traditional I think (8/10) and the ambiance was so cozy we stayed and talked for a bit before heading out. The cost for everything was $45 with tip which is really good with everything we got. Would we be back? If craving spring rolls absolutely, maybe in the next month. If you're craving traditional Vietnamese I'd give it a try but it won't blow your mind. Super friendly staff read more
