I love this cute cafe! I've been able to try a lot of great Vietnamese restaurants all over Houston, but this spot has the best bánh mì with the cutest interior design, great quality boba, and wonderful service. I've come a few times for their đặc biệt bánh mì (which is listed on their menu as the Cold Cuts bánh mì) and found the quality to be very consistent and generous with the cold cuts and spreads. They also give you a little complimentary bag of chips with the sandwich :) The boba menu is decent, and each time I've tried it, the texture of the boba pearls is perfect and the drinks are the perfect level of mild sweetness. The married couple that runs the cafe is very sweet, and the interior is filled with cute knick knacks and beautiful plants, making it a very pleasant place to sit for a while and relax. Definitely take some time to check out this wonderful place. - Ambiance: 5/5 - Food: 5/5 - Service: 5/5

Cozy, cute little place, nice neighborhood. Service is quick. My husband and I came to visit for lunch today. Amazing flavor of the Beef Pho, the broth is everything! Tender beef, fresh herbs, great noodles. We also had Shrimp spring rolls, beautifully formed, very tight, crunchy lettuce, fresh shrimp, good ratio of noodles, and Amazing sauce. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu. It is Authentic Vietnamese food. And you can tell it is made with love.

This place has the best Vietnamese coffee, It's the perfect mix of sweet and strong! The pho was very delicious, the broth in it was very flavorful, the vegetables were very fresh, and the brisket was good. Some of my noodles were a little hard and clumped up together, but that's probably because I had my ordered delivered. I still really liked and enjoyed my pho! My bbq chicken bahn mi sandwich was also great, the chicken was juicy and tender, vegetables were refreshing, and the sauce added a subtle sweetness.

I got the Jasmine Green Milk Tea with Boba , Combo Beef Pho & Shrimp Spring Rolls . This spot is so cute & clean , service was amazing & fast . The tapioca in the milk tea was perfect & the tea had the perfect amount of sweetness . Pho was hot and fresh , noodles were silky & it came with fresh herbs . Spring rolls were wrapped tight & the peanut butter sauce was great ! This spot is a such a hidden gem can't wait to try the other items in the menu !

Such a great find! Coffee and Bahi mi is delicious and I wish I was in the area more to visit more. Nice staff/owner and the place is so cute and welcoming.

I love this place. The service is always wonderful and the food is always fresh and made to order. I love the smoothies, my favorite is the taro coconut with boba. Please try to support your local business. They work hard to bring the very best to their customers.

Perfect spot to go to! I tried their beef pho and classic milk tea and it was deliciously flavorful!

I tried their classic milk tea and beef pho and it was deliciously flavorful! I definitely recommend going! Also, my boyfriend loved their bbq beef sandwich and free chips!

Absolutely delicious! Felt under the weather and wanted some pho and it hit the spot!!! Nice quiet place to enjoy a meal and turns out they're right across the street. New pho go to spot!

    Cafe Mocha & Thai tea.

Must try spot if you are in the area! I got the Thai teas and it was 10/10. It would also be a nice work or study spot, they have plenty of seating.

This seemingly small cafe is actually quite spacious; the ambiance was quiet, and the service was friendly. They had a seasonal menu for the fall, so I chose to order the iced Tiramisu latte with oat milk, and the cup was coated in tiramisu (?) syrup. The coffee taste was a bit masked, but overall it was creamy, not too sweet, and had a mocha flavor! The Core Cafe had several unique flavors that I'd love to try, so I look forward to returning. :D

Their new location is pretty far from me, so i thought I'd check out this place since it is where my favorite used to be. However! This was my first and last visit. As soon as i walked in, i smelled an overwhelming scent of smoke. I'm not sure if that came from the patrons or the space itself, but that alone was almost enough for me to walk right out of the door. But i stayed because i really wanted to give this place a chance. Like another reviewer, Elizabeth V., mentioned, there were 3 women around the counter who were not welcoming. Considering that you have to walk a distance to even get to the counter, being welcomed when you get there would have been nice! Anyway, the woman who took my order wasn't kind or helpful and when i asked for my drink iced (because the menu didn't specify if the drink was offered hot or iced) she said - kind of condescendingly - "it's already iced..." How would I know that if it's not listed on the menu? And why am I receiving snark for specifying how I'd like my order? Even though I was ordering in person, it felt like I was ordering at a drive thru - being rushed and questions discouraged by an apathetic employee who'd literally like to be anywhere else in the world at that moment. I knew I wouldn't stay at that point so I grabbed my matcha (which was just okay) and left. It's super disappointing to see that this is what occupies the space where my favorite coffee spot used to be. Maybe good service is worth the 45-min drive to their new location! Coming here certainly wasn't worth the headache of traffic, construction, a busy parking lot full of people cutting through to avoid the traffic on the street, and attitudes from the employees. If you like good coffees and teas but also like a kind and welcoming ambiance, please go elsewhere. I wish I wouldn't have believed the 5 star reviews I saw here.

I was recovering from a cold so I decided to order a hot herbal tea and was happy to see that they had such a huge selection of loose leaf teas to choose from. My friend also got one of their lattes and we couldn't resist getting a tiramisu before leaving. Overall, we liked everything and I think this place is worth a visit for that Kafeina latte. - Kafeina Latte (4/5): The lady told us that this latte was half white chocolate and half pistachio and we could definitely tastes both flavors. I really liked how they put a lot of pistachio pieces in the drink, giving it a crunchy texture. This drink is definitely on the sweeter side though, so keep that in mind. - Nutty Almond Cream Cinnamon Herbal Tea (4/5): I was very happy with the flavor of this tea. Like the name suggest, it tasted very almond-y and had a good amount of cinnamon flavored. There was also a tangy fruity flavor that followed and reminded me of spiced cider. - Tiramisu (4.5/5): I was really impressed with their tiramisu. The mascarpone layer was very nice and custardy, yet felt so light and refreshing. I also loved how strong the coffee flavor was which helped balance out the dessert and made it not too sweet. Service/Ambiance: Upon entering, I was really surprised by how pretty the interior was with the mixture of gold and wood. I'm not sure how pack this place usually gets because I came at an off time ( like 1 pm), but they had a good amount of tables and seating available. I did see a handful of people studying, so I think this would be a good quiet study spot.

To be fair, the staff was hustling hard--everyone looked like they were running on pure adrenaline trying to keep up, and they were still friendly despite the chaos. No complaints there; they're clearly doing their best. The place itself is tiny and feels cramped even when it's half-empty. Tables are squeezed together, and the ceiling (yikes) is absolutely caked with years of dust and cobwebs. I couldn't stop staring up at it while I waited, and it honestly made my skin crawl a little. Menu is huge and looks promising, but I just wanted a simple London fog (it's not even listed, but most coffee shops can make one). What I got tasted like faintly-earl-grey-flavored hot water with a splash of milk. I watched them make it--they literally just dropped a tea bag in a cup, poured hot water, added a quick shot of vanilla syrup, and handed it over. No steeping, no real effort. For almost $6, it was honestly insulting. I finished maybe a third of it out of politeness and bolted. Two stars instead of one because the employees were trying and the place has clearly been a neighborhood staple for a long time, but everything else felt tired and neglected. I won't be rushing back.

From the moment you walk in, the vibe is calm, welcoming, and full of good energy. It's the kind of place where you can instantly relax, whether you're starting your morning or winding down after a busy day. The atmosphere is a perfect mix of modern and homey. The décor is simple yet stylish, the lighting is soft, and the music is never too loud. Every time I visit, it feels warm and comfortable, like a place made for good conversations and quiet moments. The staff always greet me with a smile and take the time to make each order right. They remember faces, favorite drinks, and even ask how your day is going, which makes every visit feel personal. Now, about the coffee, it's incredible! You can taste the difference in quality with every sip. The beans are fresh, and the drinks are smooth, rich, and never bitter. My personal favorites are the iced vanilla latte and the caramel macchiato. Both are balanced perfectly, not too sweet but full of flavor. On cooler days, I love getting their hot mocha or matcha latte. They also offer plenty of non-coffee options, which is great for anyone who just wants something cozy and refreshing. Their food menu is just as impressive. They have pastries, cakes, ice cream, and breakfast options that are always fresh and delicious. The croissants are buttery and flaky, and the muffins taste homemade. I tried their slice cakes once and have been hooked ever since -- especially the strawberry and chocolate ones. Everything pairs perfectly with their drinks, and it feels like the kind of treat you can actually enjoy guilt-free. The shop itself is a great space to hang out or get work done. There's free WiFi, comfortable seating, and plenty of natural light, making it ideal for studying or working remotely. I've spent several quiet mornings there with my laptop and coffee, and it's always peaceful and relaxing. Overall, Must Go Coffee checks all the boxes: amazing drinks, great food, friendly people, and a comforting atmosphere. It's not just another coffee shop, it feels like a community spot that genuinely values its customers. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. If you're in Houston and haven't tried it yet, I can't recommend it enough. Whether you're grabbing your morning coffee, catching up with friends, or looking for a peaceful place to relax, Must Go Coffee is the perfect spot. I understood they were having power issues and were operating on a generator. Their tablet system appeared to be working, as I could see my order while placing it. I was making a large order for my coworkers and needed an itemized receipt. When I asked for one, I was told they couldn't provide it due to the power outage. I then asked if they could pull up my order on the tablet so I could take a photo of it, and I was told "yes, one second." However, after my order was ready and I followed up, the staff member seemed irritated and repeated that they couldn't provide a receipt because of the power issue. I clarified that I only needed to take a picture of the order on the screen, which I thought we had already agreed on. I also didn't realize that every add-on they offer comes with an extra charge. For example, when asked what kind of milk I wanted, it wasn't mentioned that 2% milk (which is typically the default) had an upcharge. Additionally, when a soft top was offered for an iced drink, it wasn't disclosed that it was a $1.50 extra charge. This was frustrating, as these add-ons were suggested by staff without clarifying the additional cost. While the issue was eventually resolved, I left feeling unhappy with the overall experience. I did return once afterward, but between the inconsistent beverages and the lack of transparency around pricing, I don't think I'll be coming back.

When my mom told her the cake for me was supposed to have a particular color because the gender was a surprise, she kept asking in front of me what color, and then my mom wrote it for her so I wouldn't listen and she yelled "you're having a girl! Congratulations!!" Really ? I had just told her it was a surprise and I didn't know. I know she was just hired but we didn't like our experience that day. Then the day came when we picked up the cake and the colors were very different than what we asked we even had sent a picture, and we asked for Italian creme but the cake had a coconut flavor that everybody kept saying if it was coconut, it was good but not what we asked for, also the breading crumbled really easily. Hopefully this review is taken into consideration to improve the quality of work that the bakers and administration do, the cake was too expensive in our opinion to not get that quality service that we have known for years.

To start off, when I ordered my coffee, the guy at the register said they didn't have 8oz coffees. I was staring right up at the sign, and he said he didn't know why it said that because he didn't see it in the computer. (But gave me an 8oz cup anyway and charged me for a 12oz) I thought maybe he didn't know what a small 8oz looked lik? lol Not sure. Then I waited for about 20 minutes for them to bring me out a vegetarian sand which. I was the only person there for the first 10 minutes, and it seemed like either the guy forgot to tell them to make the sandwich, or the ladies forgot themselves. Because 10 minutes later the guy looked at me and apologized and said that it should be out in 3 minutes. Another 10 minutes later and still nothing. I was pretty annoyed at this point because how long does it take to throw some veggies together on a sand which!! I think he noticed at this point so he apologized to me again and said " I just told them to make it". At this point I was super annoyed, but I just waited. Meanwhile I waited I also noticed other customers had walked in and ordered a handful of desserts and it looked like they had to go back up to the counter because they were missing some of their order. I finally got my sandwich and left because it honestly seems like a cluster fuck. Thankfully the sandwhich was amazing. The mango dessert was, eh. Especially for the price point. I really don't like leaving negative reviews, but I felt this place was really deserving of one. Customer service was not there- he was not very friendly. Food took WAY LONGER than it should've especially because I was the only one there at first and for what I ordered. He didn't even know the specifics of their menu. Just absolutely disappointed.
