Tried this place on a whim with my family. It was on a Sunday and it was not busy at all. We tried their appetizer, taquidos dorados and they were very good with a spicy sauce. Their matcha is Delish! We had their banana matcha and tried their cafe de olla---tasted amazing! We had their Salvadoran breakfast sandwich and green chilaquiles; both were good but definitely the red chilaquiles may taste better. They also had a nice little bakery to enjoy with coffee so that was nice. Overall, amazing service, cute roses hung from the ceiling in the bakery room and a cute set up for photos inside the restaurant. Overall, definitely try this place!

Don Bar & Bakery is fairly new to the area, and my sister and I stopped by on a Thursday evening to check it out. We originally went just to try the matcha, but ended up ordering food too. For drinks, I had the Bananas 4 You matcha, and my sister ordered a cherry matcha. Mine was good, but I actually preferred hers -- the cherry flavor was really nice. Both drinks lean more toward a dessert-style matcha -- milky, sweet, and not super earthy -- so they're perfect if you're in the mood for a treat. We also ordered the birria cheese fries, and those were really good. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the fries were cooked perfectly, which made the whole dish come together really well. Overall, we had a great experience and I'd definitely come back to try their brunch and more of their drinks. The service was good, everything came out at a decent time and the employees were friendly. The restaurant is also really cute!

    Homemade In-house CONCHAS!

Get ready for a Hispanic tastebuds awakening! The conchas at DON Bar & Bakery are not those dry grocery store conchas. These conchas are made daily in-house. They bake them in three flavors, vanilla strawberry or chocolate. The chocolate actually tasted like chocolate because they use fresh cacao. The strawberry concha has a fresh puréed strawberry in the icing. Never too sweet both were perfect with my Cafecito. We also sampled, homemade sweet empanadas and cornbread. The staff at DON Bar & Bakery made us feel welcomed and right at home. The owner came out and shared stories about the vision they're sharing in the Tomball/Spring with the spectacular menu. I'll have to try it next time, but I understand the Chilaquiles are award-winning. This place has it all! There's a juice and coffee bar area, the restaurant dining area, and a beautiful bakery area. It's like a museum for Latin pastries. https://donbarbakery.com/

I was able to come here yesterday for our silent book club meeting. They were so accommodating to host 67 people here. I love the ambiance and decor here. They had couches, tables, bar section and booths so it's a variety of different places to sit here. I loved seeing the different teas, coffee and sodas. They had Mexican sprite so I had to have it lol Now the TLT is a fun BLT with avocado and spicy mayo sauce that I enjoyed so much! My friends had chicken tacos with potatoes and turkey sandwich and yummy fries. Everyone raved about their yummy meals. This was a great venue to eat, chat and read. I was sad it was over. You will not be disappointed if you come here.

I recently came here this past weekend and absolutely loved everything about this place! It was so cute inside and the staff were so helpful and friendly. They kept coming around to check if I needed anything. The hibiscus tea I had was amazing as well as the chicken fajita tacos. It was so flavorful and came with potatoes that were slightly sweet/salty. I loved the unique flavors! Other people got matcha drinks and coffee and said their orders were amazing as well. I can't wait to come back again to try some of their coffee and matcha drinks

Food was made to order and delicious. Their matcha lattes are also yummy with a lot of variety! Perfect cafe to dine or study at with kind and attentive staff.

This place is so cute! I got the Banana matcha and it was delicious. My husband and I also shared the avocado toast and birria fries and loved them! They have a little bakery and a bar is coming soon! Alexa was an our server and she was super helpful and bubbly.

The food was delicious! The spicy mayo was amazing and their fries...some of the best I've had. Great atmosphere and family owned! You gotta try this place!

Delicious! This is a great joint to go to for brunch. Great service. It is beautiful in there. I love their wood chairs and i love that they show and sell art. Anyway back to the food, I had a delicious Turkey Sandwhich. Their sweet bacon and bread in the sandwich is so good. The deserts are delicious as wells. We visited twice in a week for deserts. My favorite are these chocolate chip cakes shaped like a flower. It is a moist yummy pound cake like flavor with chocolate chips in it. So good try it. Anyway im super happy to have a joint like this nearby. Look fwd to exploring the rest of their menu.

'The Crazy Cajun' is very good: boudin balls and over-easy eggs on cornbread, topped with Cajun hollandaise. (Note: the cornbread is pretty tall and can be a little dry, so I usually lop off the bottom half.) That was my go-to until a waiter recommended 'Shrimp & Grits Benedict' - shrimp, andouille sausage and over-easy eggs on fried grit patties with Cajun hollandaise. (Talk about a great way to get both grits AND potatoes!) The coffee is OK, portions ample, service excellent and attentive, and staff recommendations trustworthy. In fairness, I need to sample more of the menu as I'm usually tied between two favorite Benedicts. That said, no one I've brought has been disappointed with their choices.

The service is always wonderful. The staff is friendly, attentive, and one of the main reasons we keep coming back. As for the food, it's okay--good, solid breakfast fare, but nothing particularly memorable. The scrambled eggs were just regular scrambled eggs, the bacon was a little on the cardboard side but still edible, and the potatoes weren't really my favorite. I also thought the French toast portion was surprisingly small for the price. Overall, Sizzle & Brew is a comfortable local spot with a welcoming atmosphere and consistently great service. While the food may not be my favorite breakfast in town, it's a nice place to meet a friend, enjoy a leisurely brunch, and catch up over coffee.

He showed up, looked disheveled. T-shirt was out, messy with food crumbs all over his shirt. He had a dirty cloth in his hands. Took our drink order and our meal. Then he never came back. Again we asked the hostess to intervene. Got our food. He never came back to refill our drinks or take away our dirty dishes or ask if wanted more fish. Other tables in his section had dirty dishes on them and needed to be cleared. We looked for him and saw he was shooting the breeze with coworkers instead of waiting on customers. We asked hostess when KJ came to work, thinking he might be at the end of his shift and was tired. He started his shift at 4 pm and we came to eat at 6 pm. Overall, he needs more training to be a waiter or needs to be fired! We will return to BBD, but at Shenandoah location next time because the food is excellent!!

They accommodated us with our stroller and made it work. I am so excited that I found a farm to table restaurant where I feel like the food is good enough quality to feed my baby. We paid $50 per person for the brunch buffet and the baby was free since she is under 2. The food was delicious! They had an amazing assortment of fresh fruits, cheese, breads, salads, breakfast foods, dips, pasta, and veggies. They also had a carving station with steak and chimichurri sauce. I tried the chicken sausage, steak, beet hummus, tomato salad, whipped feta, biscuits with jam, and an assortment of the veggies & fruits. I also ordered over easy eggs and French toast which they make and bring to the table to keep them fresh but they were included in the buffet. After eating we walked around a bit to see the farm and the animals. Such a cute place for a date or a family outing. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely go back to try their normal menu.

I know. "Fine dining" and burgers? But that's what I wanted. I searched the web and found the Chefs Table in Vintage Park, and it wasn't too far from us here in The Woodlands, so we decided to make reservations and head there. From the moment we entered, we were treated like special guests. The ambiance is rich, but not overdone or stuffy. Simply classic and relaxing. Our booth felt private and unhindered by conversations of nearby diners or wait staff bustling past. Our cocktails were perfect. The calimari we ordered as an appetizer was probably the most tender and delicious either of us have ever had. And when our burgers arrived, I was so happy. It was exactly what I had set my mind on when selecting my birthday dinner experience. The blend of brisket and chuck was absolutely delicious, set atop a perfectly buttered toasted bun, with some crispy onion straws on top. And the fries... oh my! I rarely if ever eat fried food - so clearly this was my big day to completely go off my standard fare, but those fries had the perfect crunch and flavor. Apparently, when my husband made our resv, he told them it was my birthday, so our server brought out a delightful complimentary spiced cake dessert after we were finished eating - for us to share. It was the perfect finish to an already amazing meal. Thank you to the entire staff at The Chefs Table yesterday, for helping to create a memorable and delicious birthday feast for my husband and me. We will definitely be back to try some other delights because the menu is packed full of amazing looking dishes.

Our server's demeanor came across as rude at times, although it's possible she may have been new. For example, when she asked if we were ready to order, we began listing our items, but she abruptly told us to hold on because she wasn't ready. Later, when I finished my tea, she informed me that refills would cost extra, which I didn't mind paying for, but the way it was communicated felt unnecessarily harsh. To add to that, when I tried to pay with Apple Pay, her card reader wasn't working properly, and instead of resolving it at the table, she asked me to get up and pay at the front register. Overall, the food was excellent, but the service and communication could use improvement. A more welcoming and patient approach would make a big difference in the overall experience.
