    Green Tea with old boba
    Meagen M.

I love the aesthetics of the decor! The menu choice is pretty good! A good place for family or friends to hang out, study, or get lunch. BUT I think it's weird if you order 2 boba drinks you can only add extra boba to one drink!!! Which brings me to.. this place is all about boba so why are they try to withhold it... The down fall is every time I go the BOBA is OLD. Some are fresh in the drinks but some are so chewy you can't chew them and weird white stuff comes out you have to spit it out!! I get boba all the time not just from this place and it's a hugeeee difference!!! I seen a customer while I was in there last time and they were complaining about the boba being old and the customer was bothered by it. The worker checked the boba and was like it was fine. But looked frustrated. ODD!

Left Strawberry Coconut Smoothie with Tapioca boba. Right strawberry w/ Green Apple boba.

Service was kind and fast, as usual. Today I ordered the classic elote, potstickers and korean hot dog! Absolutely delicious. Paired great with our boba smoothies Love the ambiance and theme. Thank you so much.

They did so much with such a small space! This is my fourth trip. I've tried four different tea combinations out of thousands of possible combinations. Their menu is huge! The staff is always friendly, and the tea and boba are pretty good (although I'm not too picky, I just like tea). Their community wall, kids corner, and game options are impressive. If I was over this way more often it'd be a nice quiet spot to meet with friends. Haven't tried the food, but the quick, convenient, bubble tea works for me.

Came here for an after work drink and snack. The location is a little hidden on the side of HEB, but a hidden gem this place is. Great service, super friendly staff and the tea and egg rolls were great. Very reasonably priced.

Food is so good!! Definitely recommend. Cashiers were friendly. Nice small hangout place with friends.

How cute is this place?! I mean seriously...it's like it was made for Instagram. They have a menu, and they have pictures on the wall of drinks that aren't in the menu (I assumed they were). Lots of fun, "newer" type drinks and foods. I wanted to try the Mexican fries with the hot Cheeto powder on top, but was scared it might be too spicy for my toddler to share, so the kind girl at the register gave me cups of the cheese and cheeto fairy dust to put on my potion of fries and tots. Love that! The fish bowl green apple drink was seriously amazing..not only good looking but great tasting too! My taro coconut boba was super sweet and I didn't know there was an option to opt for less sugar. You could go to 50% sugar if you wanted to, so it's good to have that option. I had the coffee drink as well and that was also very tasty although I thought it would be like Vietnamese coffee and it was not it... had a different taste but still good nonetheless. Just don't expect Vietnamese coffee. They had board games, a cute little area for children and nice, clean bathrooms. I'm always weary of going to boba places or cafes with young children and I'm so happy to know that we are welcome there.

My kids and I have started making this a weekly treat. The employees are very warm and double check our orders before making them and we have not had any problems leaving with the right items each time. We ordered four drinks today, 3 of which looked alike...when we got home, I noticed that the descriptions were written on them. That was so helpful! I used to spend a fortune on non-coffee Starbucks drinks for my kids but we have switched to MooMoo and I don't mind supporting a small business.

Very excited to have found this place. My husband & I are always looking for kid-friendly places & they certainly fit the bill. They have a small seating area just for kids where they can read books & color while they wait. There are also games in the back for all ages. What made it even better is that they have food AND a variety of desserts. We ordered a half & half order of popcorn chicken & fries for the kids, which was more than enough for them. My hubby had the same, but Korean style. I had an order of Mexican street corn (they did it right. Yay!). I also had their soup (they were out of shrimp, but they offered to give me potstickers in the soup & it worked out perfect. Found a new spot to be able to enjoy as a family.

This place has a lot of cow decor everywhere. Never been to a place like this before, so no "deja moo" feelings. They might wanna "beef" up their employees because their one worker took a while to make the drinks. These cow puns are intentional by the way. I was feeling like a cow in an earthquake, so I ordered the "milkshake." The honeydew milkshake was sweet and refreshing, but the tapioca was kinda raw and hard to chew. This place seems like an ambient, nice chill out lounge. Maybe a good place to take a date, then go to the moooovies afterwards. Wow, my review just got really cheesy, so I better moooove on...

This seemingly small cafe is actually quite spacious; the ambiance was quiet, and the service was friendly. They had a seasonal menu for the fall, so I chose to order the iced Tiramisu latte with oat milk, and the cup was coated in tiramisu (?) syrup. The coffee taste was a bit masked, but overall it was creamy, not too sweet, and had a mocha flavor! The Core Cafe had several unique flavors that I'd love to try, so I look forward to returning. :D

Their new location is pretty far from me, so i thought I'd check out this place since it is where my favorite used to be. However! This was my first and last visit. As soon as i walked in, i smelled an overwhelming scent of smoke. I'm not sure if that came from the patrons or the space itself, but that alone was almost enough for me to walk right out of the door. But i stayed because i really wanted to give this place a chance. Like another reviewer, Elizabeth V., mentioned, there were 3 women around the counter who were not welcoming. Considering that you have to walk a distance to even get to the counter, being welcomed when you get there would have been nice! Anyway, the woman who took my order wasn't kind or helpful and when i asked for my drink iced (because the menu didn't specify if the drink was offered hot or iced) she said - kind of condescendingly - "it's already iced..." How would I know that if it's not listed on the menu? And why am I receiving snark for specifying how I'd like my order? Even though I was ordering in person, it felt like I was ordering at a drive thru - being rushed and questions discouraged by an apathetic employee who'd literally like to be anywhere else in the world at that moment. I knew I wouldn't stay at that point so I grabbed my matcha (which was just okay) and left. It's super disappointing to see that this is what occupies the space where my favorite coffee spot used to be. Maybe good service is worth the 45-min drive to their new location! Coming here certainly wasn't worth the headache of traffic, construction, a busy parking lot full of people cutting through to avoid the traffic on the street, and attitudes from the employees. If you like good coffees and teas but also like a kind and welcoming ambiance, please go elsewhere. I wish I wouldn't have believed the 5 star reviews I saw here.

I'd been to one in Houston before, but just for coffee, but I had a good experience there, so I was down to try their food. There were a ton of great sweet and savory options on the menu, so ordering was a challenge, but we ended up grabbing a pretty big combination of both types of sustenance. Savory: I ordered the breakfast burger and it was really great. Normally I feel like an egg takes away from the flavor of a burger, but that was not the case here. I'm really pleased with my choice here, despite the temptation to go with several alternatives. 5-stars. My wife ordered the soft scramble, and I'll give it this: it was most definitely the softest, most gentle collection of eggs I've ever eaten. But I think I like my rendition of scrambled eggs better. 4-stars. Sweet: Pistachio Croissant: All boxes checked. 5-stars. Snickerdoodle Cookie: I offer all of my praise for this delight. 5-stars. Gingerbread whoopie pie: It wasn't called a whoopie pie, but that's what it was. Like the snickerdoodle cookie, I'm mad I had to share this. 5-stars. Coco-nut cookie: We thought this was a chocolate coconut cookie, but it turns out it was chocolate and nuts. Knowing this information, we would have opted for one of the other, more delicious looking cookies. It was still fine though. 3.5-stars. Drinks: I ordered the dragon fruit berry concoction with my meal, and in a rare moment of weakness, I couldn't resist the maple pecan cold brew, despite ordering black coffee 99% of the time. I'm here to say I enjoyed both of them very much, but the latter did taste more like a milkshake than a coffee. 5-stars for both, but I would definitely order the dragonfruit thing again. Way to go, Common Bond. Here I thought you were just a coffee place this whole time, but your food is pretty, pretty good too.

It had been a couple of years since I had been in. I was greeted by a lady who acted as if she's known me for years. Super friendly. She apologized because the stock was low. I knew it was because everything was delicious. I saw that they had a specialty latte called the Spicy Bee. And oh my goodness this is probably the best iced latte I have ever had. It had hot honey in it...Mmmmmmmm! I also purchased a smoked sausage and cheddar kolache. She said it was still warm cause they just pulled it from the oven. The bread from this kolache was hands-down. The best I've ever had. I did not want to stop eating it. I wanted another one. They should make them into rolls for your Thanksgiving table. They are so delicious. The smoked sausage was also really good. It came from 2 Guys 1 Pit BBQ across the street. Nice snap to it. I've had their kolaches and scones- both are *chef's kiss*. I don't really even like scones/sweets to begin with but the scones from Kolache Cafe are fantastic. The sweetness is well balanced and the inside of the scone is anything but dry. I've tried so many different flavors of their scones but the one that had me in a chokehold was the peach. Peaches aren't exactly my favorite fruit (especially in dessert) but the peach cobbler scone at Kolache Cafe is fantastic. As for their koalches, I've tried their brisket, bacon egg and cheese, mac & cheese w/brisket, meatball, etc. Both the fillings/dough are delicious. This is one of those spots where you can't go wrong with any choice. Overall, Kolache Cafe is a wonderful small business that sells amazing baked goods and I can't wait for more!
