It was obviously an off night... a very off night. The waitress was a first time waitress, no biggie we all start somewhere. You could tell there was confusion from The staff the moment you sat down. Everyone running around looking confused meals Coming to the wrong tables, customers complaining of long wait times. Our drinks came and I mentioned a very small pour. She said it was standard 6 ounces it was not and at $15, I don't want to be shorted. 30 minutes later our Calamari appetizer came. It was completely forgettable, but not terrible. An hour and 10 minutes later, after watching every table get the wrong Meal, we finally asked Our waitress what was happening, after we coerced her, she admitted Our entrees went to another table and was never re-fired. We asked to cancel the 2 entrees and bring us a bill for what we had. They charged for one on the entrees anyways. We gave the waitress a 20 percent tip for her service. My complaint Is that this place Had no manager coming over to try and help. This is a nice place, and not inexpensive, there was no leadership. read more

Restaurant was "out of" 2 of our desired dishes. Also "out" of some apps. Yes busy Sunday in peak season but should be better prepared. Overpriced but the crusted Salmon and Burger were pretty good. read more

Had the greatest experience can't even explain how fantastic the appetizers and entrées were. We were a party of 20 and the food was fantastic!!! Not only was the food fantastic the server,the staff ALL so professional. Apps each and everyone was amazing. The mozzarella sticks, I've never had anything like that before, as well as the deep fried artichokes with their special dipping sauce. The Barada was the best I ever had with tomato, sushi appetizer platter epic! I forgot to mention the french fries it can sound funny but nothing like I've ever had ever !!! As far as entrées go I highly recommend the shrimp risotto will not disappoint. How we had room for dessert is beyond us. I honestly can't pick one that we like better. We had a thick chocolate layer cake, cheesecake and the ice cream felt it was made at the place/ that's how fresh and delicious... cannot wait to go back!!! read more

I have now been to this restaurant several times in the past year, and what comes to mind the most....Consistency. The food continues to be the best on Fire Island. The Service outstanding. Upon arriving on a busy Saturday night, I was greeted by our favorite server Ben, making us feel like family. We had a large group and the servers did not miss a beat. From our bus boy Aiden, to our server Gavin (giving Ben a run for his money as top server), the staff was attentive and kept the food coming out timely. I can't believe we have never eaten here before. It was absolutely amazing. Everything from the food to the service. The Korean fried chicken is out of this world good. Seriously get this if you are eating here. The sushi on crispy rice was to die for. My brother and mom had penne vodka with lobster and it was delish. My mom is Italian and a hard critic, but it passed her expectations with flying colors. We ended it all with the olive oil cake. Something I would have never ordered (my brother did, for the table) and now I will have this every time I come back. To top it off our waiter was amazing. We had a big group. My brother is bougie and is always asking for customizations to his meal or drinks and our waiter was so patient and friendly. Timing of the food coming out was perfect. The Girls (waitresses) looked as if they were forced to wear school girl-clothing. The owner is an old man who also is lurking around. If you own a business; you don't need to stare at customers and deeply manage like that. Get a young friendly manager to run sh*t for you. Please and thank you. The restaurant however is very nice. Beautiful venue. But the staffers are way under-dressed. (at least they all match) I ordered the most expensive meal besides lobster on the menu, and it was so severely disappointing. I had gotten the Baja fish tacos, and they were dry. Under dressed with dressing. Not enough food comma nothing on the side of the dish like beans or rice. Absolutely and utterly disappointing for $38.00 The cups are like the bottom, half of a bar shaker cup, they cut your lip and there's not enough water inside them, we had to hell the waitress down a couple times and ask for more water because we were drinking straight up to ounces. My partner had ordered some of the most tasteless sauced pasta. I was starving after the fish tacos so I had to eat her pasta. While she ordered some thing else. It's not hard to make pasta taste good. Add some chopped up garlic, fresh basil. I could've made this pasta better at home with two packets of Ramen. And saved $25.00 if you're super hungry and you want to eat it's not worth it going here. Portions are small and food is tasteless. The only thing that I do actually appreciate besides, the ambience is the salted caramel cheesecake, which was absolutely delightful. I don't want to be mean and give you one star, but that should say something. /also the girls looked like they were all robbed from the same middle/high school and forced to work here. read more

The food, staff, and service here are excellent! My friend and I walked over an hour to get here (PSA for those not from the area, you will have to walk, bike, or take the ferry to visit) and the staff still accommodated us and were so friendly and welcoming. We come to Le Dock every summer for the amazing food and ambiance. This summer we hosted 22ppl for dinner. they were extremely helpful in planning out the evening. The service was outstanding, the food was incredible (the crispy rice sushi!!!). We couldn't have been happier with the evening - all of our guests were just as happy! Lovely meal at Le Dock on a Friday evening. Plenty of outdoor seating with a nice view of the bay, sunset and people watching. The service from the owner and waitstaff was top-notch. All employees wore masks, gloves, sanitized tables, tables were nicely spread out, and a QR code was used at the table to view the menu on your phone. They offer a very nice drink menu, regular menu and a substantial menu of specials. The food was very good and cooked perfectly. Good flavors and pairings. Our family catered from le dock this past Memorial Day weekend. The food was delicious and they were very accommodating!

Sitting on the bay in Fair Harbor directly across from the ferry drop off and the best sunset views this delicious little restaurant is known for well trained awesome staff, amazing staff, and fantastic cocktails! They are always super accommodating with our dietary needs and our kids. We look forward to eating here whenever we make it to FI from CA! read more

Food: AWFUL! The calamari was thin, clearly made from frozen (& was maybe even in the freezer for years). The tuna actually tasted like mush and was on a bed of guac that tasted like it was from a pre-packaged guac jar. Mezze platter was just hummus (from can) and baba ghanouj (just mashed eggplant, no spices). Service: he was extremely charming, but rather than show us a menu and be price transparent, claimed there wasn't one. Ended up being pushed into an overpriced bottle of wine ($56 for a cheap rose) and unwittingly ordered an exorbitant glass of Sancerre ($18...what is this, Manhattan). The total check was $165 + tip (for 3 apps & the wine). For comparison, 3 delicious entrees and 3 mind-blowing apps + a bottle of Sauv Blanc at Rachel's in Ocean Beach was $170... read more

Service was good our server was good but the food was ehhh. Octopus salad was good. Ceviche could have been little more cold. It was a bit of room temp. Ordered tuna steak was not good at all. Overcooked the tuna. They exchanged it for steak. Was way much better. Tasted Korean fried chicken was awesome. Hopefully tuna steak next time will be better. read more

We had our wedding at Le Dock on June 18, 2022! It was the perfect day! We worked with Michael at Le Dock for over a year to plan our perfect wedding day. He was amazing! He was genuinely excited for us, and happy to accommodate in any/every way he could. Leading up to the wedding, we met on zoom each month to discuss the details, any changes, and finalize everything. Michael & his team set up the chairs on the beach for our beautiful wedding ceremony (you can see in the pictures below). Then we had a happy hour at Le Dock, and the drinks and food were delicious! We had an amazing local band (thanks Howie Tichler and band!!) play during our happy hour. It was a particularly windy & cold day in June, and Michael and his team transitioned smoothly to more of an indoor reception than we had anticipated. Afterward, we had dinner & speeches outside as the sun set. Then, it was cake cutting and dancing! Michael recommended a local DJ (thanks DJ Brian!), and we all had so much fun! What I appreciate the most about Michael & Le Dock was that our wedding was so personalized and so perfect for who we are as a couple. So many other wedding venues we looked at had a "cookie cutter" wedding package, where every wedding seemed the same, and it was almost industrial & entirely financial in how they churned out weddings. Our wedding was ours. Every detail, every moment, was special and was planned only for our wedding by us & by Michael. If you are looking for a place to have your wedding, definitely consider Le Dock! Not only is Fire Island maybe the most beautiful place ever to get married, but Michael will work with you more than any other venue to make sure your day is perfect! Took our boat over for an early dinner. Service was excellent! Lance is super nice and our server Paige was terrific. Fish tacos were probably the best I've ever had. Le Dock offers excellent food in a romantic setting. If you sit outside for dinner, you will see an amazing sunset. I've had the mahi-mahi tacos which were excellent. Also the Salmon Panko is a dish that is NYC quality. One of my favorites from the specials list are the spicy tuna and salmon sushi. You will be very lucky if it's one of the specials when you go there. And you really should go. read more
