Still our favorite place to eat in Fire Island !! Chef Mike and Lance do a wonderful job bringing incredible hospitality and wonderful food to Fair Harbor every summer !!! Kevin behind the bar treats us like royalty When we have a Frosè in our hand , there's no other place in the world we'd rather be !!!

The Girls (waitresses) looked as if they were forced to wear school girl-clothing. The owner is an old man who also is lurking around. If you own a business; you don't need to stare at customers and deeply manage like that. Get a young friendly manager to run sh*t for you. Please and thank you. The restaurant however is very nice. Beautiful venue. But the staffers are way under-dressed. (at least they all match) I ordered the most expensive meal besides lobster on the menu, and it was so severely disappointing. I had gotten the Baja fish tacos, and they were dry. Under dressed with dressing. Not enough food comma nothing on the side of the dish like beans or rice. Absolutely and utterly disappointing for $38.00 The cups are like the bottom, half of a bar shaker cup, they cut your lip and there's not enough water inside them, we had to hell the waitress down a couple times and ask for more water because we were drinking straight up to ounces. My partner had ordered some of the most tasteless sauced pasta. I was starving after the fish tacos so I had to eat her pasta. While she ordered some thing else. It's not hard to make pasta taste good. Add some chopped up garlic, fresh basil. I could've made this pasta better at home with two packets of Ramen. And saved $25.00 if you're super hungry and you want to eat it's not worth it going here. Portions are small and food is tasteless. The only thing that I do actually appreciate besides, the ambience is the salted caramel cheesecake, which was absolutely delightful. I don't want to be mean and give you one star, but that should say something. /also the girls looked like they were all robbed from the same middle/high school and forced to work here.

The food, staff, and service here are excellent! My friend and I walked over an hour to get here (PSA for those not from the area, you will have to walk, bike, or take the ferry to visit) and the staff still accommodated us and were so friendly and welcoming. The view is also stunning! We had the best time. Le Dock is absolutely worth the trip!

Park your bike and come on in!

Better late than never with this backdated review--life has just been lifing!…read moreI finally made it to Artemis on July 22nd after fiending to go since January. There's actually a hilarious story behind why I went. I was originally supposed to have a date that night, but let's be real: you'd think a 61-year-old man would know better than to take a 47-year-old woman to Dave & Buster's. I canceled the night before, dolled myself up the day of, and decided to take myself out instead. Best decision ever. The joint is dimly lit. But your eyes wind up adjusting. It's got a great vibe. Definitely excellent for a date night. The bartenders here are absolute rockstars. I started with a Painkiller. Even though it's no longer on the menu, they whipped it up for me anyway--and hey, it definitely relieved my pain, lol! Next, I tried a Corpse Reviver just because it had absinthe in it. It was different, but I really enjoyed it. Naturally, I had to finish with my signature drink, a Cosmopolitan, because I am the Black Carrie Bradshaw of Long Island. And it did not disappoint. The eats: I got the charcuterie board--fancy and bougie, just like me--and wrapped up the night with the brownie à la mode for dessert. Drowning my troubles in sweets is a must when the Long Island dating pool is an absolute wasteland, lmao. Did I want to spend my night around teenagers, kids, and skee-ball? HELL NO! I wanted a grown-and-sexy speakeasy vibe, and Artemis delivered. 5/5 stars--would 100% recommend!

Whether you're looking to grab a drink, share some appetizers, or sit down for dinner, it's a great setting. I visited last week with my family, and the appetizers were definitely the highlight of the meal. We ordered the Magnolia Flatbread, Burrata, and Baked Clams. The flatbread is an absolute must-order, it was outstanding and easily the favorite dish of the night. The burrata and baked clams were also very good. For our entrees, my dad and I both ordered burgers. While they were flavorful, they were unfortunately overcooked. I ordered mine medium and my dad ordered medium-rare, but neither burger had any pink in the center. My wife ordered the Tuna Sliders from the appetizer menu and they weren't what she expected; she said she wouldn't order them again. My mother enjoyed the French Dip and thought it was very good from what I tried. Magnolias serves "cottage fries" instead of traditional French fries. They're essentially thick-cut fried potato slices--more like a hearty potato chip. While it's an interesting twist, I'm a French fry person and personally prefer traditional fries. My wife and I both ordered the truffle cottage fries, and they came out quite soggy, likely from sitting in too much oil. We mentioned it to our waitress, who agreed after seeing them and kindly removed them from the bill. Overall, Magnolias has a great atmosphere, excellent appetizers, and a unique setting that makes it worth visiting. While there were a few issues with some of our entrees and sides, I'd definitely return, especially for drinks and appetizers in the courtyard.

We were greeted and seated by the friendliest host who mentioned it is restaurant week. They have a special menu in place $46 (sorry forgot that photo). You have a choice of one appetizers, one entree and one dessert. We will start off about talking about the yummy appetizers four nice sized baked clams which were so flavorful and moist with a lemon drizzle. We had to order the ciabatta roll to dip of course. For dinner, we each had the lemon fettuccine with shrimp and thinly sliced asparagus which was a great choice for a lighter & fresh dinner option. Now let's get to the dessert, the flourless chocolate cake. All I can say is WOW! Hands down the best. This Chocolate was absolutely delicious moist, hot, decadent chocolate with pistachio sauce drizzled plate. OMG. The waitress Kelly did not steer us wrong everything we asked she was correct about. Her energy and attentiveness was off the chart. Thanks for a wonderful dinner experience in your new restaurant. We will definitely be back soon.

As mentioned they try to offer fresh, seasonal apps, handhelds, salads and entrees. The protein entree options only offer two to three chicken, pork, steak, seafood selections along with a couple of pasta infused dishes. They have a full bar, so if a beer or cocktail is wanted you do have options there as well. The Mr selected the Chilled Shrimp & Crab Stack, but eliminated the hard boiled egg aspect and thought it was light, tasty and refreshing. I opted for the Faroe Salmon with shrimp that came accompanied/on top of a risotto and peas. I thought cooked medium was perfect making it soft and fork flaky to mix along together. It was a very juicy sizable piece making it very filling. We didn't have time for a dessert, but noted they did have a few offerings there. Also noted they had very well kept mens/woman's and family restroom with baby changing table. Thanks! Would highly recommend this location to others.

Happy hour at the bar is from 12-7pm with the bar bites available after 4pm. The place is very nicely decorated and exudes an upscale but unpretentious vibe. I ordered a glass of the pinot noir which was tasty and at $6 a nice bargain. I got the chickpea fries and was surprised by the texture. It was almost custard like with a slight chickpea flavor in a very light breading. Served with the harissa aioli it made for a nice app. After a while I decided to try the Filet mignon sliders, which I ordered medium rare, the bartender said they don't usually take a temp on those but he'd note it. The meat is sliced very thin but was tender and still had a bit of red. The arugula gave it a nice peppery bite. My only critic is the slider roll was very cottony, but the overall taste was very good. I'll definitely be back and will try something off the regular menu.
