I was in town for an event and decided to stop by for some breakfast foods due to its good reviews. Food was good but the barista was absolutely RUDE. It was almost uncalled for because they called out for a different name and when I was talking to my friends. The shop was busy and I did bring up the possibility that it was not my beverage at the bar. The barista gave me the nastiest tone that it was clearly my drink and didn't really own up to mistaking my name and used the opportunity to patronize me. Not worth coming to this store and tipping them for this was absolutely bizarre. My friend and I were the only people of color and maybe it had to do with that ?? but still not worth coming to this establishment to be treated this way. read more

I met friends here for a mid-morning weekday brunch. I love breakfast/brunch and was excited to try out this charming little French spot which is known to absolutely every Temeculan! It did not disappoint - the food, drink and customer service were fantastic. All seating is outside which was perfect, as it was a lovely morning. The staff was welcoming, helpful, and attentive. I had the leek/goat cheese quiche, cinnamon roll and a London Fog latte. The quiche was delicious but after trying my friend's Sequin quiche (ham, goat cheese and caramelized onions), I know what I'm ordering next time! The potatoes were incredible - scalloped with layers of thin slices and plenty of cheese. The cinnamon roll was good, but note that their version is made with puff pastry rolled up with cinnamon sugar and topped with a very light glaze. My personal preference for cinnamon rolls is the yeasted version that I make, with lots more cinnamon sugar filling and a generous cream cheese icing on top. Sooo, it was good, just not what I was expectingJ The London Fog latte was yummy - Earl Grey tea, steamed milk (coconut for me) and one pump of vanilla syrup. When that happens, I can't think of a better place to visit for early breakfast than Le Coffee Shop. The selection of menu items is good so surely you can find here something you like. I ordered Breakfast Sandwich. A croissant filled with scrambled eggs served with organic greens and choice of 2 ingredients (tomatoes, swiss, feta or goat cheese, ham, turkey). The sandwich was perfectly portioned, which I really liked, and well seasoned. The croissant was light and well baked. I accompanied my breakfast dish with delightful cup of lavender mocha latte. Their coffees are really good so try one when you visit them. They are located just off the Main Street in Old Town Temecula so you can't miss it. The only downside may be parking as the Old Town Temecula is really popular and gets busy especially during weekends. read more

My daughter and I went here for the first time and were disappointed with the service. The person taking the order got it wrong and we received the wrong item. I said something to the server (manager maybe?) who, instead of being gracious about it and offering to right the wrong, he challenged me and put the onus on me, the customer. He wouldn't exchange it without charging us for an extra dish, and insisted it my fault because I didn't catch the cashier's mistake. I didn't realize it was up to customers to make sure the employees are doing their job! We were disappointed with the experience; and not only that, the food was so so. Would not recommend and won't return. Return note to manager: nothing like throwing customers under the bus! This is not right. You're giving the impression I was on the phone the entire time which is so far from the truth. I was on the phone for MAYBE 15 seconds, to make sure I got my daughter's coffee order correct. (We were unaware we had a choice of hot or cold coffee, or if we wanted full fat milk or not, so I had to call my daughter to ask how she wanted her beverage - during which time I'm relaying the correct order information to the cashier.) it was a very quick call because I did not want to cause of delay for other customers, and it did not prevent me from paying attention. Pretty good. we were here for the weekend and tried this place. We got a quiche, iced tiramisu, iced cookie butter latte, croque madame, almond crossiant, and a french toast. The french toast is actually a waffle like french toast but that doesnt taste like a waffle but it's just kinda weird and I personally don't care for it too much lol. It is unique though.... Although it isn't the best almond crossiant, it was the right way to start off the meal. It tasted delicious and softer than your usual ones but I thought it definitely passed my test. The quiche, I thought the crust was really flakey and overall this quiche, I would get it. Comes with potato/salad of your choice. Croque madame was pretty good. Kinda self explanatory. I prob pick the quiche over the croque madame but both are very solid options. I know ice coffee always dilutes the taste but my cookie butter latte taste like a iced latte more than anything else even after mixture. Tiramisu...i can taste the hint of salt but if you want to just get coffee, just get a regular iced latte is my recommendation cause i had a sip of my friend's ice latte and I thought that was almost the same and personally i thought it tasted better. You order at Le coffee shop and if you get food you are given a number where you can then find self seating either outside or 2 doors down inside at Le Bistro. A server brings your order to your table. This place was excellent! Turnover for tables was pretty fast. Not really a place to overstay as it gets busy. The food was amazing! We dined on a Sunday @ about 10am and we waited in line for a good 15 minutes. DRINKS: We stared with an Iced Vietnamese Coffee with nugget ice which was really good and really strong. I loved my extra hot Cafe Miel made with steamed almond milk, cinnamon, organic honey & espresso. CROQUE MADAME: a crispy grilled or toasted black forest ham sandwhich which had a bubbly charred emmental (swiss) cheese melted on top with a perfectly cooked sunny side up egg. Hit it with a splash of Cholula for some spice. I chose the house salad side and it was fresh, light with a very nice mustard base dressing. This was delicious and I highly recommend. Stopped by this place for breakfast before a day of wine tasting and I loved it! For a small coffee shop, they have a lot of options on their menu and has a very organized system in terms of ordering, dining in and just getting a pastry/coffee to go (there's a separate place to do that). Although it seemed crowded for seating, by the time we finished ordering there were tables available to eat at. I got the cookie butter latte (hot) and I shared the leeks quiche (+ fruit) and the breakfast sandwich (+ potato's gratin). Definitely get the potato's gratin as your side, and both breakfast items were delicious! The latte wasn't anything special, so I definitely will want to try a different drink in the future. There isn't a parking lot tied to the cafe but street parking is relatively easy to find! read more
