Petite creme brûlée
Jennica S.

The Global Ambassador is doing it right. I've been to Théa three times, the lobby bar, and it was only right to go to Le Ame. What made the dinner that much better was their $35 steak frites special. I have nothing but positive things to say. The restaurant itself is beautiful! I always love open kitchen concepts because seeing the chefs in action is always amazing. It felt very moody and romantic with the candlelight dinner, dim lighting and dark colors. The steak was melt-in-your-mouth perfection and I upgraded to the truffle fries, which I do not regret one bit. The one thing I do regret is not eating more of them, considering the fries were endless. The meal also started with a crisp and light salad that had a dressing I could probably drink. My boyfriend and I wanted to order some appetizers, but I'm glad we didn't because by the end of the meal, we were full. I did order the petite creme brûlée though, which was not petite at all. It was huge and only priced at $9... that felt illegal. Our waitress had a very calming presence and she was lovely! I can't remember her name but it started with a "T" and she had pretty, curly hair. I think the manager was walking around, asking how everyone was doing too, which is always great. We definitely want to come back to try more of the menu, and probably take his parents here too!

Chicken Caesar Wrap and Truffle Fries

Beautiful space + 5-star service! First time trying Le Âme at The Global Ambassador, and it was a great spot for a business lunch. The space is absolutely gorgeous and has that elevated, sophisticated feel you'd expect from the Global Ambassador. Service was truly 5-star from start to finish. I've had the Caesar salad at the lobby bar plenty of times, so I was excited to try the Chicken Caesar Wrap--and it was just as delicious! The French onion soup was good, although it was a little too rich and a bit heavy on the wine flavor for my taste. Overall, a beautiful setting, excellent service, and a great lunch experience. I'll definitely be back!

Came here for a celebratory brunch after graduating grad school and we had a lovely time. The restaurant is gorgeous and tables are well spaced. Cocktails were delicious, as were the steak frites and my family both enjoyed their meals as well. The hit though was the dessert. I'm already a sucker for crème brûlée, and I loved it, but my family isn't big on dessert, the the sticky toffee pudding had them in heaven.

Escargot (old version, absolute fav) still craving this!

Where do I begin? This place is OUTSTANDING The service is top notch and every single employee is on top of it. I've been several times as I'm starting to become a regular. The ambiance of the place overall is so nice. It's located inside Global Ambassador Hotel. It offers indoor and outdoor seating. No misters outside so plan on that. They also validate parking, as well as having valet out front. Before I talk about how yummy the food is, I want to give a huge shout out to Shamitt, I believe it was the manager of the evening. He checked on tables to make sure everyone was satisfied. Even when our table had a minor hiccup, he made sure to turn the whole evening around and top it off (which wasn't needed but that's how they are, always going above and beyond). Every waitress or waiter I've had is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Just this alone makes me want to come back every time. Now about the food. Words don't do it justice. You have to come by and try it for yourself! I always order the escargot they did recently change it from a savory version back in May, to now it's a lemony, breadcrumb, light version. Both versions are delicious (maybe offer both?). This particular evening I was there for the steak frites dinning menu....WORTH IT! It's silly not to order this. The steak is a decent size and you get lots of fries. My table and I split the steak frites menu and order a few things from the appetizers and we were stuffed. Not a lot of places have a good dessert menu...but this place does! Everything on the dessert menu I've had, and I would get them all again. Overall, you can't go wrong here! Everything checks the boxes. They will be seeing me again, and again!

Croissants

Such a cute morning hangout spot inside the Global Ambassador. There's a small outdoor seating space when it's hot, and spread out seating inside. At the bar, at the tables, or in the big plush lounge seating. The must-get is the cinnamon roll croissant. Delicious. I wasn't a fan of the coffee, way too strong. I had regular drip coffee with cream and sugar.

Birthday Card

Had a wonderful dining experience at this establishment for my birthday. I was able to make a reservation online and our table was available upon arrival. They were really sweet and put us at a booth with candlelight and ambience was just pretty romantic. This restaurant really made me feel special on my birthday. I really enjoyed that they gave me a handwritten card and everyone was just very happy to be there. Our server was a delight and I would definitely come back here. For the food, we both end up ordering steak and frites as it was an offering on that evening and included unlimited fries. My husband could not get enough of this. He also got the truffle fries which were flavored just right. My steak was done perfectly and the flavor was just right. We also were able to have some drinks and our server was able to score us some beer from a nearby establishment that was on tap that was delicious. The icing on top of the evening is that they gave me a complementary crème brûlée for my birthday and it was very good. I'm not even a big crème brûlée person, but the char on top of the crème brûlée was so crispy and so caramelized that you could not resist eating that entire thing. All in all, I would definitely come back here. I would love to try some of the other items on the menu. Plus the espresso smelled amazing. I will say that this is a place you should get a reservation for because it was very busy. But the experience itself was perfect and just looking at all the cute outfits that the staff was wearing was a vibe. Btw the robust amount of management that came by to check on our table was authentic. It just ensured that they were about you having a good experience. This Parisian restaurant is located inside of the global ambassador so you are able to valet your car or you can also park in the nearby garage. This happened to be our third time here and we were not aware that we could get validation for parking in the nearby garage.

Ravioli

Le Âme at The Global Ambassador was a great date night spot. The room is dark, polished, and upscale without feeling too formal. We started with the French onion soup and ricotta ravioli, and both were excellent. The soup was rich with a perfectly browned cheese top, and the ravioli was simple but really well balanced. The Wagyu Bolognese was probably my favorite dish of the night. The sauce had a deep flavor, the pasta held it well, and the grilled garlic bread on the side was a nice touch. Service was attentive, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the food lived up to the setting. Definitely somewhere I'd come back to for a nicer dinner in the Valley.

steak tartare

Went here for my birthday dinner! We had a reservation for 8 people and they gave us a private room. The room was a really nice touch for the night. Our server was so lovely and really personable. The steak tartare was good and i loved the bread that came with it, it was perfectly toasted with butter. The star of the show was the truffle roasted chicken, the chicken wasn't dry at all and it was paired with a savory, little sweet sauce, I highly recommend. I will definitely be coming back.

What a lovely dinner experience. Food is always phenomenal!

I know I've reviewed this place before, but it's always SO amazing! it gets better every time ! Great atmosphere, great service, and great food every single time! The burger was probably the softest burger I've ever had, it literally melted in my mouth! The fries were good, just way too salty for me. But the sweet corn is my absolute FAVORITE! I would honestly come here just for that haha! The truffle bread was also good with a slightly sweet taste. The fish was super good too! Such a great grilled/charred flavor. you really can't beat it here in AZ! Everything is very clean, welcoming, and high-class. And they have valet, which is probably my favorite part haha! Ooo, and they have Acqua Panna! So refreshing! Definitely a place worth visiting, but reservations are needed!

Steak and fries

We LOVE Le Ame. The staff is so kind and amazing, extremely tentative. It was our anniversary and they made us feel so special. Our table ordered duck fat hashbrowns, skirt steak & fries and dessert. Can't wait to some back to this restaurant

My girls & I went on a Monday night for girls dinner and it was amazing. You get a salad, steak and unlimited fries. Tasted phenomenal! We ended the night with their smaller version of crème brûlée, don't skip this! Service was great and the late night vibes were vibing with perfect lighting. A little loud at times since it was so busy but that just means it's the place to be! I recommend getting reservations a few weeks in advance.

UPDATE on my review: I went here for brunch and I'm disappointed at how beautiful the hotel is and the coffee is just meh. I even ordered a second latte in hopes the first one was just a mess up but they both were tasteless, watery and not elevated given it's a very expensive hotel. The quiche was very good but salad was eh as well. It was just spring mix tossed with olive oil. They do validate parking if you park in the parking garage but I would skip out on the coffee bar here.

Prime Rib Dip

Holy smokes - this is a meal I'll be wanting again and again. Recently visited on a breakfast date and decided to truly indulge. The service was stellar from the get-go, and we were quickly seated and tended to. The coffee was flavorful and yet not overly sweet, which paired great once our savory meal arrived. The duck fat hashbrowns are out of this world and I wish these could be my breakfast more often. The crispy exterior pairs so well with the delicate and gooey interior. Not to mention the sauce it is paired with is amazing. We split the French dip and eggs Benedict which was more than enough food for two. We followed up the meal with sticky toffee pudding which brought the whole experience to a perfect closing. Our server was attentive and helpful in terms of providing suggestions on pairings. We will definitely be back!

Drink menu. They have zero proof drinks too

The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, and the air conditioning worked great. Every employee we encountered was friendly and professional, but Lucinda, Jennifer, and Sidney really stood out. Lucinda noticed my daughter and me trying to find our room. The resort is huge, and the buildings are not very clearly marked, so we were looking a little lost. She stopped the golf cart she was driving by and offered to help us find our way. She could have easily driven past without stopping, but instead, she took the time to assist us. Her thoughtfulness and excellent customer service made a great first impression! Later, while we were enjoying drinks and dinner by the pool, Jennifer and Sidney were incredibly friendly, efficient, and attentive. They were excellent representatives of the Hilton brand and made our poolside experience even more enjoyable. The reason I am giving the resort four stars instead of five is the $39.95 daily resort fee. When booking, I did not see this fee clearly disclosed, and I found it excessive. The room rates are already substantial, and I believe amenities such as the pools, gym, and grounds should be part of the overall cost of staying at the resort. Unexpected daily fees like this are a major turnoff for me when choosing accommodations. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and the outstanding employees made it even better. However, the excessive resort fee is disappointing and would make me think twice about booking again.

Plenty of decently developed rooms that are modern enough, especially for a busy wedding weekend. Rooms are spacious, bathrooms are clean and updated, and prices are fair if you're booking early enough in advance. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking can be OK depending on where you're located in the resort - there are definitely some narrow spots that make it harder to get to and from your room easily. Plenty of large pools and spa space to hang out and relax w/ friends/family. They do charge an annoying resort fee as an add-on for all of the "amenities". Easy access to local and attached golf courses, if that's your thing.

One thing I really appreciate is how convenient they make everything. From the water dispensers to the utensils, condiments, and even to-go boxes, everything is set out and easy to grab. I also love the counter-style ordering because the food always comes out quickly, while you can still sit down and enjoy the space without feeling rushed. The outdoor seating is probably my favorite part. The entire property has such a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere and feels like somewhere you actually want to spend time rather than just grab a meal and leave. There are also so many unique gifts to browse while you're there, which makes the whole experience even better. Between Luci's, the ice cream parlor, the tavern, the shops, and all of the outdoor space, there's so much in one place. It's also a great setup for events or getting a group together. Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, great drinks, and so much to do. Definitely one of those places I'm always happy to come back to!

CHILAQUILES UNFORTUNATELY WERE A MISS!…read more I will preface this by saying everything else was very good, so I will come again and update my review at that time. I came here for a breakfast date with a friend. They have a decent size parking lot. Upon entering, there is a great outdoor space with tons of tables, many with shade. Your order at a counter inside. I got Chilaquiles and a matcha, and my friend got a burger. Unfortunately my chilaquiles were the worse I've ever had! It seemed like store bought chips with sauce thrown on top, not fried in sauce at all. And the menu describes it as having pulled pork but these were chunks of meat. The provolone on top was a slice melted, no shredded cheese. It just didn't hit. My Mexican friend said the sauce wasn't very good either, I thought it was okay. I didn't even eat half of my meal. I will say, his burger was very delicious. Super juicy, and fries were cooked well. I thoroughly enjoyed my matcha as well. The chilaquiles were just so bad that I can't give a higher rating at this time. Since the burger was so good, I'd love to see what the other dishes taste like.
