Had reservations here on 11/30 for my birthday dinner. The ambience is great, the outdoor patio is also really nice. I'll def be back for drinks out there. There was no wait for our table which was nice, all of our food was delish, they even brought me a little birthday treat! I had the Ora King Salmon, it was delish! Overall it was great, my only complaint is that I definitely felt like they rushed us. Like to the point we went to sit on the patio because we didn't feel like we had enough time to just hang out a bit and chat. But regardless, I'll be back. read more

Le Ame - Steakhouses Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Top service restaurants with good food and descent prices. The order: French ham Benedict Prime rib dip sandwich The good: Most of our table's food looked great. The cappuccino smelt good. Certain dishes are priced well. The restaurant is in a fancier hotel with nice views. The bad: not much, but we chose to sit outside during late summer, and it was blazing. $6 machine espresso is a way overpriced. Our friend's steak frites came out overcooked and was extra small. Not worth it at all. read more

Exceptional!! From beginning to end, the friendliness, service and food far exceeded expectations. The restaurant was busy and yet, it wasn't noisy and at times felt like we were the only ones there. The seating was very comfortable with the decor being nicely subtle. Because we were celebrating or Anniversary, our waiter, Isaiah, brought us complimentary champagne to start and finished our meal with complimentary Profiteroles. We started with the Truffle Brie Baguette followed by Oysters for him & French Onion soup for me. Our entrees were the Short Rib Bourguignon with a side of creamed spinach and the Lobster Bucatini topped with shaved truffle. Everything was incredibly delicious and the portions were generous. The Profiteroles: For years, I've searched for Profiteroles served with ice cream like the Profiteroles in Paris. I finally found them at Le Âme. Treat yourself to the unmatched food & service at Le Âme. And, ask for Isaiah as your waiter. I promise, you will have a brilliant experience. read more

My husband and I have been eagerly anticipating the opening of this restaurant! It has been very busy and hard to get a reservation. Fyi - valet is currently free. If you park in the garage, you can have your ticket validated. The menu is generally French, with things like Croque Monsieur and salade Nicoise, though there are also things like oysters, spring rolls, and a reuben sandwich on the menu. I ordered a turmeric latte and a salade Nicoise. Both were very good, but the seared tuna on the salad Nicoise was lacking in seasoning and flavor. My husband ordered a French onion soup and a reuben sandwich and said the soup was great but the seasoning of the reuben was off ( it needed more acid in the cole slaw). The menu overall reminded me of The Henry, its sister restaurant down the street, in that everything on the menu is good, but I wasn't blown away by anything in particular. The ambiance is classy; somewhere between 1920s era and mid-century modern. read more

Came here for brunch on a Sunday morning. The restaurant is located inside the Global Ambassador hotel. Beautifully decorated, it has that fancy and elegant feel to it. The service was excellent too and got a party of 3 seated pretty quickly without reservations. We were impressed by the food here. I ordered the omelette and my husband got the Oscar Benedict which comes with crab. We also ordered the pancrepes for the table which was a nice sweet treat. I thought the omelette was cooked perfectly. My husband loved the Benedict. After, we stopped by the rooftop which is another restaurant / bar called Thea. So pretty! I would come back for sure! read more

Food was good. Restaurant is ultra pricy. The bar drinks prices were "way" more than what they should have charged. I could have had just as good food elsewhere for half the price and then some. Service was good. Ambience is lacking. Restaurant was loud. Only view was all the people around. Green beans was too salty for my taste. Steak was right on. Overall ok. I can say Inoe that I had the experience, but I probably won't be back because I'm not going back for the status and the price. read more

I went there on Tuesday for their new Steak frites special. While the steak was great the service was slow and the food took awhile. We sat at 8p after watching the sunset upstairs at Thea. We brought our almost finished drinks down like they said we could but didn't get offered another drink for over an hour. We ordered oysters to start and then the salad finally came out. Then when asked why our foods taking so long they just said it's the first week but could have communicated this without asking. I was getting a bit hangry cus I had waited to eat and then what upset me the most is the two people that were sitting behind us received their steak n fries first! I tried to politely complain since I did work in the industry but to not have anything done to apologize for the two hours it took for this whole experience was just a bit disappointing that I wouldn't recommend going there right now. I just expected better customer service and communication. read more

Atmosphere modern. Attitude un caring, totally disinterested wait staff. We ordered multiple dishes to sample but they were all loaded with salt. We like very salty food but this was ridiculous. Our lips curled in as our cheeks caved in. I think someone dumped the entire salt dispenser into all our dishes. We complained to our waiter without any relief and left over almost all the food as it was inedible. We will not be going back. read more

definitely worth the hype! the service was great and fairly fast. we came on New Year's eve, so it was pretty busy. the food exceeded my expectations. my cheeseburger was cooked perfectly and was all around just a great burger. my green smoothie was also so light and fresh, and the texture was perfect. the market itself is so beautiful. the seating, the lighting, and the ambiance were all perfect. i'd go back just for the vibes. only complaints: someone in my party did complain about their brioche egg sandwich. they said the bread was way too soggy. i would also say the prices were just a tad too high. all the food and drinks in the photo ran us about $115 plus tip. read more

Tucked away inside the luxurious Global ambassador hotel, Le Âme cafe offers an exquisite retreat for sure. My recent visit to this charming cafe was a delightful experience , marked by an ambience of sophistication and a menu that caters to the most discerning palates.I had turmeric latte which was perfectly brewed and was so comforting for a chilly winter morning and the butter croissant was perfectly baked and very flavorful. Would definitely come back for a proper brunch!! read more

We had an amazing dinner with a super attentive staff at the restaurant. We started out with the plateau (a seafood platter of oysters, lobster and shrimp) It was delicious and super fresh. For dinner, our table had salmon, raviolis and petite filet. Everything was scrumptious. I would say the steak had a little too much salt, but was really tender. We ended with sorbet and ice cream. It's a must try restaurant, even though the main lobby is a little bit of a scene with so many people. Definitely going back. read more

I would say the service and ambiance is what gives this place a solid 4 stars. Food was great, but I'm not sure if I could justify some of the dishes for the price. For a party of 4, we ordered: - Truffle fries - Sweet potatoes - Tuna carpaccio - King crab bucatini - Cacio e pepper salad Our server was very knowledgeable and provided dish suggestions in addition to drink pairings. I will say though, I had the mini dirty martini and it was the cleanest and most refreshing martini I've had to date. read more

Amazing! We were in town for our anniversary and this restaurant was suggested by a few folks. We decided to try it and they definitely did not disappoint. Sam Fox's exquisite new Global Ambassador Hotel opened this past Wednesday and we got to experience Le Ame, the Parisian Steakhouse, which is the resort's soul. It features a classic open kitchen, a sophisticated dining room and a polished group of servers. When we arrived for a 1pm reservation on Friday, the dining room was high energy and filled with smartly dressed diners. I will say it does get a tad noisy with the concrete ceiling, I have a tradition of always starting a meal at a French restaurant with the classic French Onion Soup. It was delish and beautifully presented. However, I don't understand why it took over 30 minutes to get our next course served. Seemed like the kitchen might have been a bit overwhelmed. However, the Prime Rib Sandwich and Reuben were hearty portions of choice meats, awesome breads and crispy frites. Looking forward to enjoying a dinner service soon and exploring more of the menu. read more

Went on Valentine's Day. Menu was pre fixe with good offerings but dumplings were cold and we sent them back and they were cold the second time, too. Steak was tasty. Coffee was cold. Restaurant didn't "do" anything to recognize Valentine's Day. Waiter seemed a bit green for the pace and crowd though his busser/assistant was top notch. Restaurant was crowded, loud, had no charm at all. Would neither return nor recommend it to others. Overpriced and under delivered. Many better options for upscale dining. read more

My best friend and I had a wonderful time here! Right when we sat, the service we had was impeccable! We were greeted by our wonderful server, Nekane. She was on top of it and knowledgeable. A+++ for her! She suggested skinny margaritas literally, the best margs I ever had, absolutely delicious! Whomever made them, kudos to them as well. Our server m suggested that I get steak. She was right on it because that too was juicy and the butter on top was just the cherry on top. My friend got ravioli and they too were amazing as well. We'd love it here since we came in and left. The hotel is beautiful among with the ambiance. We'd definitely be coming back! read more

Le Wow. What a special and exceptional experience from beginning to end. This elegant and beautifully designed French-inspired steakhouse located on the lobby level/first floor of the Global Ambassador hotel is a gift to Phoenix. The dinner menu has all the classic steakhouse offerings, but next level... and perfectly executed. There is something for everyone on this unpretentious menu -- from appetizers to desserts, every option speaks to me. In addition to the highest quality beef, our favorite dishes/sides include the cheese ravioli, potato chips and dip (SO GOOD AND FUN), mashed potatoes, and allll the desserts. Shout out to the profiteroles with ice cream and the generous, luxurious crème brûlée. This is the perfect place for date night, celebrations, business meals, girl's night, special family dinner...basically for any and every reason you want that 'wow' experience, this is it. Service is professional and unobtrusive. What's more impressive is that all dishes came out timely, piping hot, AND accurate- a seemingly impossible feat these days. Just wow. read more

I went to Le Ame on a Tuesday night with a few friends. I utilized the valet service ($10); however, there are free parking options nearby (not sure how close, though). I got there about 20 minutes before our reservation. Grabbed a drink at the lobby bar (Old Fashioned - very good) and found a seat while I waited. To start we ordered the Crispy Onion Frites, Pork Belly Dumplings (came in 6 pieces), Truffled Brie Baguette (4 pieces), and the Ravioles Du Dauphine (comes in like a half-a-plate sized sheet). Crispy Onion Frites (8/10) - I don't typically like onions, but these were very good. Dumplings (9/10) - Will order again. Baguette (10/10) - This is a must order, in my opinion. So good. Ravioles Du Dauphine (9/10) For my main I ordered the Wagyu Bolognese. 8/10. It was good; I have no complaints, but will likely try something else next time. The garlic bread that came with was good. One of my friend's main was the 8oz filet & Butter poached lobster - Said the steak was cooked perfectly. Didn't give a number rating, but based on his reaction, at least a 9/10. He really enjoyed the lobster as well, but steak was the highlight. Other friend ordered the New York Strip - Also complimented the cook and had a similar reaction as the prior friend. My two other friends both ordered the Dover Sole. They were both very satisfied. I'd say from their reaction the rating would be at least 8/10. We also ordered an add-on from The Grill and a couple Accoutrements that we split: Sam's Famous Garlic Butter Noodles - 7/10. They were good, but nothing crazy. My friends didn't mention anything about them, either. Truffle Twice-Baked Potato - I didn't try this but each of my friends did and loved it. Mac & Cheese Gratin - 8.5/10. Very creamy - delicious. Lastly, for dessert we ordered the Creme Brulee and Toffee & Pecan Gateaux. This was my first time trying Creme Brulee - not for me. Too sweet. For better perspective, my friends are creme brulee fans and LOVED this one. For the Toffee & Pecan Gateaux - 9/10. This was very delicious. Would definitely order again. Service was spot on. The server was very polite and informative. When our food was delivered it was handed to the person who made the order (didn't have to ask, "Who ordered the..."). This doesn't bother me when it doesn't happen, but was just a nice touch that showed their training is a step above your usual place. I also recognized who appeared to be the Manager/Owner was very active/present. Helped with delivering food, checking it on customers, etc. Listed at 5* above, but I like to also provide a more specific rating out of 10, for more perspective. I give Le Ame a 9.4/10. I will definitely come back. Next time I will have to try a steak based on my friends' reactions. read more

If you want AMAZING service and a great personality, ask to sit in Paul's section. He is definitely one of the top 3 servers we have ever had. We had an intimate spot in the dining room with candle lit table for a birthday dinner. Service was impeccable. The smell of truffle butter was heavenly! They have a decent wine list by-the-glass, as well as fill wine list by the bottle. I had a red and a white and enjoyed both. We ordered the French baguette (yum!), shrimp cocktail (4 jumbo shrimp), Cesar salad, filets, mushrooms and the twice baked potato. The filets were cooked perfectly and were not overly seasoned. The mushrooms were delightful with just the right amount of herbs. We didn't care for the twice baked potato as it tasted too chivey or onion-y, but that's just personal taste. In all fairness, Paul did recommend a different side but I was set on the twice baked! We also received a small dessert for my boyfriends birthday. The place is lively, and you have to walk through the Lobby Bar to enter. What a surprise that was. We stopped and had an after-dinner drink here as well. Definitely will be back to Le Ame in the future! read more

Soooooo.... It was underwhelming. First, our reservation was at 8:30 and we weren't sat until around 8:50. Then we got the table closer to the kitchen which felt like a filler table that was added last minute. And I'm talking 2 steps away from the kitchen, every server walking by our table to get to the kitchen. Oddly close to the cooks. Next, the food was absolute mid. I got the king crab bucatini and the description the serve gave sounded so good but in reality it was under seasoned, bland, and $68 for less than a 1/4 cup of crab. I was very disappointed. My friend got the truffle roasted chicken, which was salty (nice crisp on the skin) and the potatoes tasted like instant potatoes. My other friends enjoyed their Mac and cheese and the short rib. Drinks were good (thank god)! Overall, it was an experience and I almost feel bad for being the one to suggest it for the night. Will not be going back but maybe we just ordered the wrong things (should've gotten steak). read more

A beautiful experience. I do want to preface I went for brunch, so I cannot speak on the dinner menu. The restaurant has a front of house little market for more on the go and fast dining, but also an actual sit down dining experience further back. It's nestled around a beautiful, luxury hotel. There is also indoor and outdoor seating, and they take reservations. My friend and I each got iced vanilla spice lattes that were delicious. We also each got the croque madame. The flavors were on point and you can tell that they put care into their presentation and taste of their food. The service and staff were superior and so friendly. I'll be back to dine in as well as to go. read more

Le Ame was just okay, nothing terrific or special for Sunday Brunch. It is very pretty and clearly has French inspired décor and menu items. We had a reservation and were seated quickly. Drinks were delivered shortly after ordering but getting our main dishes was another story. It took about an hour. I had ordered the quiche which arrived cold with a side of greens drenched in a too tart lemon vinaigrette. There was no server in sight and I was hungry so I ate half of the cold quiche, it was not even a little bit warm. Others we were with seemed to enjoy their meals but they were certainly not raving about them. When the server arrived to clear the plates, I informed her that the quiche was cold. She offered to bring another one but by that time, everyone had finished and I declined. It is a nice restaurant but I would not go out of my way to go back. read more

Restaurant is located in a hotel with a very large bar and lobby area. The night that we went, we had reservations but we're not seated at our reservation time. We waited an additional 30 to 40 minutes after the lobby was extremely busy and loud. Once we seated at a very small table, the service was very good. However, the acoustics of the restaurant echoed and were very very, very loud. It made it extremely difficult to have a conversation with the person across from you and also to enjoy the romantic setting of the restaurant itself we enjoyed the meal as the food was prepared perfectly, but most likely will not be returning due to the atmosphere. read more

First of all, I absolutely love the ambience of this place! The global ambassador hotel is one of my favorite hotels. It's spectacular! Now let's talk about the restaurant. My Smart Set sisters and I decided to go out and enjoy a wonderful Saturday brunch together. The service here is impeccable! However, my food was just OK. I had eggs Benedict and it came with potatoes and a salad. I'm not a big salad person so I didn't eat a lot of the salad, but it was tasty. The potatoes were just OK. They were the little small potatoes that still had the skin on which is not my favorite thing but again it was OK. The eggs Benedict needed some help. I did ask for extra hollandaise sauce and that came out promptly. I just can't put my finger on it, but the eggs Benedict were just OK. Nothing to write home about! I think it might be that I like my food to be piping hot and it was Lukewarm. I also got the French toast and again nothing to write home about. They said that it was caramelized, but I thought it was a little burnt. It is supposed to be crunchy because of the caramelization, but it seemed like it was just a tad on the overcooked side. My girlfriend also had the French toast and her toast was not as dark as mine. She had been here before and raved about the French toast, but she even said that the French toast wasn't as good as it was before. My other girlfriend had an omelette made with egg whites and she loved it. I will definitely go back. I just won't get the eggs Benedict. But again the service was spectacular. The ambience was impeccable and it's one of my favorite places to hang out. I know my Smart Set sisters and myself will definitely be going back sometime soon. read more

I also had one of the coffee drinks- it was ok. I had mine iced but the ice melted pretty quickly. They brought out a birthday treat at the end which was a nice touch too!
