Came to the casino to do some gambling but I was starving and this was the only place that was opened with a full breakfast menu. From outside this place looked really cute on the inside. Put my name down, with an attitude the hostess told me it would be 15 mins as they were short staffed. Completely understandable but it ended up taking about an hour from when we put down our names to the time that we ordered. We ordered the legends bay eggs and the crème brûlée French toast. It came out quickly. The eggs entree was your basic breakfast plate and didn't stand out at all. I had high hopes for the French toast as I thought the French toast itself would be covered in sugar as torched (mistake on me for making assumptions) the crème brûlée sauce was very strong and sweet with almost a burnt taste to it. I ended up getting regular syrup for it instead. There were only a few servers and one person cleaning. Our server Erica was great, she had a lot of tables which caused her to be super busy but was able to get to us if we had a question. I got a cookie chocolate crinkle cookie to go and it was not good. The cookie was super hard and did not taste that great either. Sad to report; Showed up at the Grill at 8:50 pm on a Friday night. Told it would be a 20 minute wait. What? (Restaurant was not packed or busy.) Why? "Oh. Sorry. We're short staffed." We tried the Legends Bay Grill today for the first time. We were there at 3, so it wasn't busy at all. Our server, Julio, was really great, friendly and gave us some good suggestions. My mom and I both had the French Dip and it was delicious. Nice bread, tasty meat and cheese and onions. The fries were good and generous too. My husband had a steak with mushrooms sauce. It was cooked perfectly medium rare and he loved it. For dessert he had a butter cake with ice cream and caramel and it was fresh and decadent. The service is good, but the restaurant seemed slightly understaffed. It is always spotlessly clean and the noise level is great for conversation. But the real proof in the pudding is the food. Seems to take a little longer for the food to get to your table, with good reason. The food is wonderful, excellent and prepared perfectly. No joke, the crispy hash browns were crispy, the eggs over medium were just as ordered. The toast was perfectly toasted and the butter was all the way to the edges. The quality of the bacon and sausage was wonderful, which was the crowning glory to a perfect breakfast. Bravo! read more

While still relatively new, I've been wanting to try The Grill at Legends Bay Casino for some time now and in town and got the chance to experience it. After a short wait for a booth, we were promptly seated by the Hostess how was very pleasant and friendly. The restaurant is decorated with contemporary décor and was spotlessly clean. I will say that the booth seating is not at all generous when it comes to seating room and next time I would probably opt to sit at a regular table and skip the booth, beside the booth table rocked which was somewhat annoying while trying to eat. It took some time for our Server Destini to greet the table, but once she did, I found her also very pleasant and friendly, and she took the drink order and returned quickly with it. I ordered the French Onion Soup and Monterey Chicken. It took longer than I expected to get the French Onion Soup, but I will say it was a generous serving and was served at just the right temperature and tasted really good! When my main entrée was served, the plate looked excellent, so generously portioned and everything looked fresh and well prepared. The mixed veggies that is was served with were awesome and the baked potato was also very good, with lots of sour cream oozing over the top. The only think about the entrée I felt disappointed with was the chicken itself. While grilled it was rather dry and I think it would have been much better if it were juicier. I loved the variety of menu items and know that the restaurant has an inviting dessert case in the front where you can simply order dessert to go or pick from one which extends the desserts that are on the menu. I met some friends here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised at both the service and food. One tip (if you are sensitive to smoke) is to ask for a table towards the back away from the casino entrance. One of my group suggested that and I'm glad she did as I don't like cigarette smoke especially while eating and it was smoke free towards the back. They have a nice selection of breakfasts, sandwiches, salads and dinner entrees. I had the Rueben with French fries and it was very good. Service was excellent. This is a great casual restaurant if you're staying near Legends Bay. read more

We haven't eaten here since May 2024 but we were in the area and thought to give it another try. Still awful. I had the country breakfast, and the biscuit was so cold and hard I could not cut it with my knife. The bacon tasted old and had no taste. My wife didn't eat her bacon either. Even the servers seem sad, like they don't want to be there. Really another poor dining experience here. This is like the 4th time in a row that we've eaten here since it opened and have had a bad dining experience. There was not a lot of people eating here. I do not understand why this is such an abysmal place to eat. We eat at Duke's Steakhouse for most holidays, we were there for my birthday and it is always good and the people who work there are all great, but this place................Never again. read more

Went with some friends to check out this new place. The ambiance was ok, but the front has no doors so the smoke from the casino filters in. We were sitting close to the front so I requested to move further in and I couldn't smell it anymore. The staff was very friendly. The server was nice and he checked on us and even brought a Togo box for my friend before she asked for it. The food was good. But nothing special or different than any other coffee shop type place. I got a western bacon cheeseburger and fries and it was just good. My friend ordered the mojo chicken but the server entered it in wrong and she got a blackened chicken sandwich instead but didn't realize it until she had already eaten it.. guess it was still pretty good. My other friends got a Ruben an omelet. I gave it four stars due to the smoke which the restaurant can't help but I didn't care for and the oops in the order. read more

Went for the first time. Heard amazing things and honestly I was disappointed. Food was basic like if I went to Dennys. Service was not even basic. No clue who our waitress was no name tag and it looked like she stayed out all night and had a hang over. I had the Philly steak and it was dry and had no seasoning. Fries were ok. My daughter loved her burger but she is 6 she doesn't know better. My husband had the chorizo burger and it was ok. Very bland with no seasoning. He said it tasted like it had been in a heat box all morning. Would like to try the oyster bar I won't be going back there. read more

I was hanging out at Legends Bay, 9/18/23, doing some day drinking, and watching MNF near the sportsbook. Daytime turned to evening, and around 9ish my gf & I started looking at LB's website to figure out where we were getting something to eat. The LB website promotes a late night menu for the LB Grill (Dine After Dark) which can only be enjoyed after 11pm. We keep playing and walk over to the LB Grill right at 11pm. We get there and find the restaurant closed; signage nearby indicating the LB Grill is closed for "deep cleaning." Signage also claims that food truck hours have been extended until 5am to accommodate for the inconvenience. We walk over to the food trucks and find them all closed; menu screens turned on to display the sad message of "Sorry, we're closed." Do you employ a food & beverage manager? If so, fire that incapable person immediately. Cheers! read more

I heard about this new place from a friend who went there a few times. Three of us decided to try it out. We went for lunch on Christmas day. It wasn't too busy, but we did have to wait, even though there were empty booths. Once we got in, service was good. I've been here once before and the experience was definitely better then. But this time it was horrible. We got the meatloaf and fried chicken dinner. The meatloaf was cold in the middle and the wife lost her appetite. The chicken was so skinny and dry. It was hard to swallow. The place was super empty for the waitress to not show up and ask how everything was or even refill my drink, but that's ok. I heard the only other people that were there complain about there food as well. So I am not surprised. I did add two stars as the salad was pretty good and the ranch there is good as well. We have an ultimate card so the one of our meals was comped, but I rather go to the food trucks on the side then ever come back to this place. After giving Legends Bay Grill three attempts to step up and provide basic customer service, we have given up. In the dictionary next to the word "Miserable" is a picture of today's hostess and it is clear she neither cares for her job nor people in general. At Noon on a Saturday the place was basically empty which should have been a sign but we were informed it was going to be a 30 to 45 minute wait. I suppose it could be a staffing issue but it's clear the staff they have don't want to be there. It has been our previous experience that the wait staff work hard, provide great service and the food is delicious but first you have to get past the hostess which isn't worth the effort. We live in the area and really want to patronize the casino and it's restaurants but the sullen unhappy staff don't exactly inspire any loyalty. Unless there are some serious changes, I don't think Legends Bay Casino is going to make it. read more

Extensive menu with LOTS of choices and very reasonably priced. If you go for breakfast before 11am - you can get their breakfast special for under $5 - 2 eggs/2 bacon/hash browns and toast. Add $2 to this and you can have a small filet mignon! There is usually a bit of a wait because this is such a popular "special." We went there for lunch last week and my Asian chicken salad was wonderful - very fresh, juicy chunks of grilled chicken with plenty of other goodies like mandarin oranges and sliced almonds. There are several options for a meal at Legends Bay Casino. Dukes is the steakhouse. It looks fancy and would be nice to dress up for a special dinner there. The Food Truck Hall certainly looks casual and appropriate for a quick, easy meal. In between is the LB Grill. Casual attire is fine. Drop in is easy to be seated. However, when seated, you will see black cloth napkins and heavy, fancy flatware! Nice! We followed our enticement by the ads for the breakfast specials 7-11am daily. My husband had the "3 Deuces" and I had the Filet & Eggs. Both are great deals with delicious meats, plentiful potatoes and toast of your choice and two eggs cooked to your liking. The 3 Deuces comes with 2 eggs, 2 bacon and two sausage (so very tasty and plump). The Filet comes with 2 eggs and 2 petite filets. I was asked by our very friendly, professional and proficient waiter, Bodie (named after a ghost town) how I would like the steak. I said, "medium rare." They were done perfectly for my taste. I will have to come back for lunch or dinner to try other menu items or maybe come back again for the Filet and eggs special as $6.99 is hard to beat!!!! read more

My friend had one of her other friends recommend this place to her so we decided to give it a try today. I peeped the menu online beforehand and noticed the prices were pretty decent. Isabelle (sorry, girl, don't know the exact spelling of your name!) was an excellent server. She was friendly and prompt. The menu has a good variety of food. I chose eggs benedict and it came with a side of hash browns. My friend got eggs with bacon, toast and country potatoes. Good portions and the food was yummy. The hollandaise was good which tends to be htf around this area. Anyway, my friend made the fateful decision to order a cinnamon roll. They are $6 at the the time of this review. They are worth every penny! The best cinnamon roll I've ever had!! We even ordered some to go. Isabelle comes back and said there was only one left (sad face). But she went on to say she spoke to the bakers and they said they could bake more if we didn't mind waiting! Yay!! We weren't in hurry so we happily agree. It did take a bit longer than they estimated (still worth it!) and Isabelle was attentive without being intrusive. Once we got our rolls, we made sure to tell her what a gem she is. She said she's still new to the job. Going above and beyond as she did, I know she's going to rock that job! Give this place a try. The Legends Bay Grill is a great place to get a good breakfast. The staff are great: friendly, courteous, helpful and attentive. The dining area is spacious and inviting. I ordered corn beef hash and eggs. That meal was prepared and presented well and overall tasted good. The house coffee also tasted good. This restaurant is situated inside a casino, but it is free from casino noises and distractions. Wife and I went to this restaurant in Sparks and unfortunately, we weren't very impressed. The atmosphere was okay, but nothing special. It was a bit dark and dingy, and the music was too loud. The menu was pretty standard, with typical bar food like burgers, wings, and fries etc. Also over priced beyond belief. Small portions for the price. The food was poor serenely nothing to write home about. My wifes steak sandwich was a bit dry, and the fries were a little undercooked. The service was fine, but not particularly friendly or attentive. Overall, I'd say that it's a below average bar and grill. Truly outstanding interpretation of huevos rancheros and at a very fair price. Great combination of flavors with refried beans in a thin bottom layer, crispy corn tortillas in the middle, and fried egg and sauces (red in this case) on top. Hash browns instead of rice on the side. Presentation was 5 out of 5. Service was attentive and fast. This is a gorgeous interior with great acoustics, subdued lighting and warm colors that make diners just want to order more food. Worth my time to travel an extra five miles away from my "local" restaurant to eat here. Congratulations to a superb job all around! read more
