Amazing local company. Jeffery was on call tonight when I called that one AC unit had gone out. My son and his family are moving in with me today and having no air with a small child and pets was going to be tough. Jeffrey diagnosed it quickly and got everything working. They installed two new units a few years ago and have been fantastic at service and maintenance I highly recommend them. The whole team is great but Jeffery really went above the call today. read more

Very professional. Ray went above and beyond the call of duty, taking time to explain everything to me as he went along so that I could understand the how and the why of what he was doing. I highly recommend. read more

it cooled down to 93 degrees at night the last two days in our house after I "fixed" two items and realized I was out of expertise. A neighbor suggested I call Lakeway Heating and cooling which I did and expected to be told they could get me an appointment in couple of days. They told me they could send someone out by 1 pm. At 10am they advised considering our problem with both air conditioners, they are sending someone over 3 hours sooner. The young tech that showed up wasted no time after interviewing me as to what I had attempted to do to "fix" the problems and solved the problem with both air conditioners. He advised me of several options. An immediate partial fix and two other permanent solutions. The expertise, professionalism and customer service has restored my faith in businesses in general. If you need assistance with your heating and cooling problems and you don't call Lakeway, you are probably making a huge mistake. We are now custOmer's for life because Lakeway has our back 24/7. Thanks to your crew members. read more

My AC was showing serious signs of imminent failure. Called Lakeway AC and spoke to a real person. Dalton arrived later in the day and wasted no time and quickly diagnosed the issue. Had to order a part. Within days, Dalton called and said part was in and can head over to replace the coil. He showed up with crew and all were professional and courteous. Dalton and crew was so fast, it's incredible for such a job, it was like a NASCAR pit crew and my AC was cooling once again. I'm sure Dalton will be promoted or branch out on his own with his customer orientation keeping me informed my repair options and status of repair. The price point was what I expected since i had a similar repair 2yrs ago on my other system. Recommend. read more

When it's Friday and the heat index is about 110.... Murphy's law always finds its way to rear its ugly head. Yep. Our AC went out! Luckily to us, our bottom unit was functioning so we didn't cook inside our home and didn't want to pay exorbitant weekend or holiday surcharges. Fast forward to Monday at 8am- the most cheerful and angelic voice greets you and helps! Unfortunately, due to other jobs, our ticket was slated to be Wednesday but a technician could call if they are between jobs waiting on parts or done early. Fast forward 2 hours later- I got the magic call! A tech was on his way! Joey arrived and was very knowledgeable and professional. He figured out the issue- it was my capacitor - which I didn't know the newer technology meant one of the sides could go bad and still have fan running- the old ones just make the whole thing die. Well, if I had known that before- I had an extra capacitor (or 3!!) in my closet. Joey got it working again! This is my 5th or 6th time since 2019 to use Lakeway AC for my personal home and rental home. Other jobs they did were to replace a coil, condenser maybe?- some big box thing, a corroded drip pan.... They don't Highway rob you and very honest. Dalton has done at least 2 jobs for me, Joey assisted Dalton on one and was here this time and Ray did the big job to the unit upstairs in 2020. Support local and Lakeway AC does a fantastic job each time! read more

Outstanding Service! August 2024, Texas: Hot! We returned from vacation in the late afternoon to find our house at 89 degrees because our AC wasn't working. I called Lakeway AC & Heating, and Chris, the Service Manager, arrived at our house in less than an hour. He diagnosed a low coolant level and added coolant. The house quickly returned to a comfortable temperature, allowing us to get a good night's rest. The following morning, Chris returned, diagnosed, and repaired a small refrigerant leak in a capillary tube. Thank you, Lakeway AC & Heating, for this outstanding service. read more

Just a word of thanks and gratitude for the a quick response very reasonable pricing and courteous service! Much appreciated!

Really appreciated having Ray come out and fix my AC today. Have had issues for years for one reason or another usually with repair guys either not doing any of the more subtle often times needed investigation, trying to sell me things I didn't need or being downright lazy and inept with their work. After a few weeks now of the house being at a sweltering 88 - 90 degrees inside, already having another company come out and NOT solve the issue and waste my money there, it's such a relief to finally have the capacitor replaced and and the system correctly balanced out so that I can now properly enjoy the summer - Thank you Ray and Lakeway AC and Heating. :) read more

This is the second time I've used Lakeway AC & heating and I could not recommend them more. Jennifer took the time to troubleshoot with me to see if I could fix on my own. She then found the time in the schedule to have Miguel come out and assess my situation. Turned out to be a quick and easy fix. Miguel was professional, helpful and efficient. They turned a stressful situation into an easy process. 100% my go-to for any AC issues. read more

We had one of our ACs replaced with a 2.0 ton lennox. Their service, price, worksmanship, and communications were excellent. Highly recommended. read more

Can't say enough about how happy I was to find these guys. I work as a public servant on 24 hr shifts. I was gone at work when my wife called me at 10 at night saying the AC was making an awful sound. Sure enough it sounded like our fan motor was about to go out...knowing what I know, I've seen motors quite literally burn up and catch fire. So that would be bad. But here I am stuck at work. So I called another company who claimed to have 24hr service...no reply. Then I call Lakeway Heating and AC. 2nd ring pick up...and at my house in 15 mins. Did a great job, fixed the problem, no BS, no upsell, took a card over the phone so my wife wouldn't have to be disturbed at night, in the dark. I couldn't be happier. These are my AC guys. Job well done. read more

Brandon and Gary were amazing. Polite, knowledgeable, fast. Totally impressed. And the owner on the phone scheduling was amazing too and funny. They totally beat the price of all the Others I called. read more

They came out bc my A/C was out. They got it going only for it to break a week later. Now I am in "wait for the part to come in land". I need to be reimbursed by my home warranty and the Office Manager is not willing to make one call to my home warranty to confirm their credentials and send in the work order. That's it. I'm paying out of pocket. Meanwhile, it has been over 100 degrees most days. I guess customer service doesn't exist anymore. Chris the service manager is the most unprofessional person I have dealt with. read more

Wow! Talk about service! Our A/C went out in the middle of the night and we woke to a hot house on a Sunday. Within an hour Chris had returned our early morning call, was at our home and had us cool again in no time. I'm so impressed. This was our first time to use Lakeway AC, but definitely won't be our last. I choose them as our current company doesn't work on Sunday (how convenient...NOT!) and I was searching for someone with outstanding reviews. I found it! I would agree with the other YELP reviewers. This is a 5-star service customer focused group. read more

Our A/C went out on us today when it was 96 degrees outside. I called and talked with Joey who said he would be out. He came out in less than 30 minutes, checked the outside pressures and went upstairs and said everything in the system was good, but the heat pump elements were on when the A/C was on so it wouldn't cool. He spent a lot of time investigating what the cause was and said the thermostat was not working and the high heating element was on while the A/C was cooling. He fixed two heating items so they would empty water into the pan and disconnected the high heating unit on the heat pump so it would quit running while the A/C was running. We are waiting for both the upstairs and downstairs to cool down, which they are. Joey literally saved the day! He was at our house for almost 2 hours and thoroughly checked everything and explained everything and even wrote it down on the invoice so our home warranty company would know what he did and what they needed to do. He was in the attic for most of that time and did a great job. He only charged us the after hours fee, but he definitely needs a raise! Thanks so much Joey! read more

Called Lakeway AC & Heating on Friday morning 8:05AM and spoke with Jennifer to schedule an appoint. While I was expecting to hear that the earliest appoint would be days away, Jennifer advised me that she could get someone out before noon the same day. Ray arrived at about 9:00AM the same morning. Ray was respectful in my home, wore a mask, observed the 6ft social distance, etc. I described the problem with my AC unit and Ray diagnosed and repaired the problem in a very timely manner. In the future, when I need my AC repair, Lakeway AC & Heating will be my first call. I strongly encourage you to do the same. read more

Since day one this group has been really helpful, they came over when we called around 8pm the first night and fixed our issue. When we needed to replace our AC they were who we picked and I'm glad we did! They are very helpful and courteous. Thanks Chris and team for your help! read more

We needed to have Lakeway AC back out again to check our attic and make sure that roof rats hadn't caused any damage up there. Kelly came out and checked the attic, replaced a pipe cover that had gotten chewed off, changed our filter and also did a check on our compressor as it had been running noisy. We feel confident that everything is in great working order now. We've been very happy with the service received from everyone we've come in contact with at Lakeway AC. read more

Great guys. John is the owner and is super nice. We have used them twice. Just recently had our unit not turn on and I called to set up an appointment. A service technician named Cotton came over and ran some diagnostics Just needed to hit the red reset button on the unit outside. I was relieved it wasn't serious. They charged $65 for the service call. 2 years ago they relocated the interior unit and redid the duct work for a very reasonable cost. Only downside is they just service the Lake Travis area. read more

I can't say enough about Lakeway AC. I have used them in the past and been happy with them thus my call to them again today but after todays visit i had to write a review. I called them this morning about a leaking AC unit due to the drain being clogged and they came out the same day. Ray was the technician. He is excellent. I will definitely ask for him in particular next time. We have had this problem continually as long as we've lived in the house. He noticed something they had capped incorrectly on both our units when they were installed which has contributed to this being an ongoing issue and fixed that and showed my husband how to take care of this drain clogging issue next time on his own. Great to find a local company that is awesome. read more

I thought it was worthy of an update. New units were installed in November. The Lakeway AC & Heating team also made some modifications to the returns and vents to allow the units to work even more efficiently. My average electric bill was 400 in the winter and as high as 900 in the summer. We had a hot August this year and my bill was under 300! Since the upgrade, my highest electric was only 320 with no change in the temp we keep the house from when we had the old units. I'd call Lakeway AC today if you have questions about the overall efficiency of your system. read more

My AC stopped working yesterday and I called Lakeway AC which I pass by all the time going home. I always get nervous calling out someone to my home to fix something but was pleasantly surprised this time at the timelines and the extra mile they went. A service technician came out by the name of Christopher not Chris and worked on my AC...he is a new guy started working for them couple weeks ago. Seemed like he knew what he was doing and was able to get my AC working until I could get a part replaced. I bought the $150 two time maintenance deal and was able to use the first one today. Now less than 24 hours my AC is working and paid $280.00 which included the inspection and maintenance on my unit that they did today and another one they will do in the fall as well as the fix on my AC unit until I get the part. Not sure how much the part will be yet. read more

Our heater has gone out 3 times now. The first two times we used our home insurance and had terrible customer service with another company and they never resolved the issue. Heater hasn't failed since. I'd highly recommend them! read more

We didn't end up using this company but the service was excellent. We were impressed with the company and the technician. The tech thoroughly looked at the existing system as well as the ducting and square footage to come up with two quotes for us. He was able to get me to throw quotes within 24 hours. We ended up using a company that we have used in the past however I would definitely recommend Lakeway air conditioning and heating two other homeowners. They're pricing was fair and their knowledge seemed very good. read more

The downstairs AC was blowing hot air. I called Lakeway AC yesterday and they were able to schedule someone to come by today. (It could have been yesterday except that I couldn't be at home until the night.) Ray came by this afternoon and added some refrigerant, but the air still wasn't cold. He looked at the indoor unit and found a problem with the drainage of condensed water, so he drained the water and elevated a pipe to stop the water from accumulating. After he left, I noticed that the air still wasn't cold and I saw that the outside fan wasn't running. I called Lakeway AC and Kelly came by. He traced the problem to a poor wire connection in the main unit and fixed it. Now I am getting cold air. I found the price to be reasonable and am very pleased with the service. read more

The a/c stopped blowing air late Thursday night. I called Lakeway A//C and heating around 800 am Friday morning. Kelly was at the house by 10am and diagnosed the problem quickly. A new blower motor was needed. The part was purchased by 1100 by one of his colleagues who was already at the parts warehouse. He finished his two other calls in the neighborhood and was back by 300. He worked steadily until 600 or so. Job done!! Efficiently. Fair price. And Kelly is very personable. He explained the job to me step by step. I have had 3 different companies come to my house over the last year and none have been to able fix my air conditioning properly, (not radiant, not lake Travis a/c and another one I can't remember) it would work for about 4 months and then I'd be back to square one again. Having Multiple Sclerosis, it's really important that the temperature be well controlled in my home or it adversely affects my health.I called and they were out just 3 hours later. Within 10 minutes he had diagnosed the situation. They replaced my coil the following day. James Morris over there was awesome to work with, super knowledgable and very helpful. So happy to have my system working properly again! What took them a day to fix, 3 companies couldn't after multiple visits and a year and half of trying. Thank you! read more

Lakeway A/C gave me really great service and response. I tried several other companies first and got voice mail and no return call. I called Lakeway A/C and talked to a person at 11:30 at night, had a service man here before 9 the next morning, and had my A/C fixed and cooling by 9:30. This company has won my business and the price was less than I expected. I thought I was in for a couple of days of hot, uncomfortable living, or bunking out on my daughters couch, instead I'm relaxing in the cool comfort of my home. Hard to think that any company can be better at customer service, Lakeway A/C is the best I've ever experienced. read more

Chris at Lakeway AC & Heating is the best! He came out to our house on Sunday morning to look at our unit that stopped working the night before. He did an excellent job of explaining the problem and giving us multiple options, never once pushing us to the more expensive option. Since we knew the unit was not very high quality and wasn't efficiently cooling our entire house, we opted for a complete replacement of the system, knowing in the long run it will pay off. The price quoted for a high quality Lennox system was extremely fair and today we got our new system. That is just three days after Chris' first visit. They would have been there yesterday if it hadn't been for the rain. Chris also completed all of the documentation necessary for us to get rebates from PEC. First class service all around! read more

Awesome is the best way to describe the experience. After coming home to no A/C when the Texas heat was almost 100 heat I expected it to be hard to find someone quickly. My brother was the only one that I had ever used and he passed away last year. I called Lakeway A/C and they had me on the schedule the same day and they were on time for the appointment. John the owner and Joel diagnosed the problem, replaced the part replaced and within 1 1/2 hours my house was cool again. I can't say enough about their service and quality of work. I will recommend them to everyone that needs a/c or heating work done. read more
