My wife and I had the pleasure of getting married at Lake Oak Meadows a few weeks ago and it was the greatest experience from start to finish. First off, the venue itself is absolutely stunning with the the greenery, lake, fire rings, and much more. The staff really do a fantastic job maintaining everything year round. Our venue coordinator, Sara, was amazing the moment we met her. She answered all of our questions promptly and was there to help with anything every step of the way. Also, a big shout out to our wedding planner, Hayley! She was a rock star and we really couldn't have done it without her. Throughout our year of planning, Hayley was communicative and helped put all of our ideas together. When the big day finally came, everything was better than we could imagine. We recently got married at Lake Oak Meadows. Everyone at the venue was so helpful. Since we inquired about pricing until the end of the reception. Our coordinator was Linda and she went above and beyond to help us. Everything turned out great and beautiful! Another plus, the food was delicious! Everyone loved the food and was stunned by how beautiful the venue was. The only thing is that they are very strict about live music. We weren't initially informed of their policy so that was a bit of a bummer for us. But it still turned out great. 1. Poor security keeping your private wedding private. There are no signs directing people away from your venue. Loud drunk people walk through your pictures and sit at your dinner tables. 2. The coordinator did nothing and it felt very disorganized. Signage could really help direct people and they have very little. It is like they don't know what they are doing or how to do it. Our photographer did more than the staff. 3. The heaters need to be brought out during cocktail hour, but were 2 hours late and they didn't bring all of them out. All the fires in the cocktail area should have been lit before we arrived. 4. This is a beautiful but classless winery. As family of the bride we arrived at 1pm and there were already large groups of loud, drunk people. The servers don't have to continue serving people and they can promote an atmosphere of decorum. This is a winery not a dive bar. Live Oak Meadow is like Napa's crack addict stepsister. She was beautiful once, but her choices have destroyed her appearance. 5. If you still want your wedding here, bring your own coordinator and make your own signage. Have people assigned through out to direct your guests to where they should be. Have your groomsmen stationed around your photography area to direct people away, also. read more

If you want a venue that causes you nothing but stress and allows random drunk wine tasters to crash your "private" wedding space, look no further than Lake Oak Meadows. We were one of the couples who booked our date with LOM almost 2 years in advance for a perfect Saturday in May 2020. Due to shut downs, LOM was obligated to postpone us, and the only Spring option we were given was a Sunday in April 2021. As it became more apparent that the pandemic would still not be over, we inquired about postponing further and were told that we couldn't have that convo until 6 weeks prior to the event. Despite the stress building up over not knowing whether we were having a wedding in less than 2 months, we patiently waited until then - Only to be told that they were not allowing postponements, end of story. I wrote a heartfelt email back to Sara (the lead venue coordinator) explaining that we had many high-risk guests and asked her just to consider our request... and after waiting 3 weeks with no response, I finally called - About 8 times prior to actually making contact with anyone. At this point we knew it was too late to reschedule, but still needed to discuss a major overpayment we had made. I'll skip over that, but the takeaway is they don't give refunds and it was a major struggle to get a straight answer (or even a response) from them. An upgrade they offer is extra hours in the bridal suite (for us, an 8am start time). The women in the office were clearly just arriving when we got to the bridal suite and were chaotically rushing around trying to get it stocked/organized until about 8:40, at which point we could finally set up. A major selling point LOM gives is that they offer a completely private venue rented out only to you for your wedding day, with a secluded area of the venue just for your bridal party to relax leading up to the ceremony. Well, that is NOT the case anymore and we were never informed that had changed. They have since moved the "tasting room" to an outdoor area literally FIVE FEET from the bride/groom suites - And it doesn't close until 8pm. Yes, as in 3 hours AFTER your wedding starts. So any outdoor photos we took beforehand had an audience of about 80-100 drunk, loud strangers. And you had to push your way through the line for the bar any time you wanted to leave the rooms. The staff couldn't differentiate between wine tasters and our guests, and no one told them to stay at the ceremony site, so some of our friends and family came down to the tasting area and saw us doing our first look - Something that should be a very intimate, private moment. We were assured by staff members that all their patrons would be directed out of a side exit to ensure our wedding was not interrupted... more on that later. Thankfully our ceremony went smoothly, despite the DJ (who came with the venue) playing a recessional song that we had changed a few weeks prior. When we did our family photos, most of the guests stayed there because our coordinator (who also came with the venue) was nowhere to be found and no one asked them to continue up to cocktail hour. My husband had to step out of our group photos to tell everyone to move so our photographers didn't have to keep weaving between people. That's when a drunk, rude AF patron stumbled down the walkway we were taking pictures on to get to the parking lot at the top of the stairs - The same stairs my dad and I had walked down in our grand entrance minutes beforehand. No one at the venue had directed her around the outside like they said they would, and if she'd decided to leave even 10 minutes earlier she would have walked straight through our ceremony. I told her to go around, she called me a b**ch (on my freaking wedding day), and we basically stopped our photos to wait for her to stumble all the way up the hill. Dinner was delicious, but I had to get up from my food to flag a staff member down to turn the heaters on (we were freezing and again, coordinator nowhere to be found... until it was time to announce to us that she was leaving). They decided to bring the cake out right as the DJ tried to open up the dancefloor, so my husband and I were dancing practically alone until everyone had eaten their cake. At one point he started playing music we didn't want (he claimed he was "running out of songs" 15 minutes in), so I had to politely remind him that we provided a playlist of almost 50 songs to choose from. Long story short - I would never recommend this venue. I'm only giving a star because the grounds are beautiful and we liked their catering company. But none of that is worth fuming over all of the major disasters that happened throughout the day on your way home from your wedding. Do yourself a favor and choose literally anywhere else. Once they have their money, they no longer care about you and clearly don't prioritize weddings the way that a "DrEaM WeDdiNG VeNUe" should. read more

We absolutely loved our wedding at Lake Oak Meadows. The venue is perfect. Our ceremony turned out amazing and looks wonderful in all of our pictures. This truly is a picture perfect place to get married. Our coordinator was so helpful leading up to the ceremony and making sure things went smoothly. We loved having a bridal suite just feet away from our venue and reception. Great for pictures and getting ready for the wedding. We enjoyed the reception and the food. We paid for the top premium package and were expecting to have the best staff Lake Oak had to offer, and up until a week before the wedding we felt that's what we were getting. Just days before our wedding, our officiant switched on us and so did our DJ. The officiant did his job well, just not what we were expecting. Our DJ was the only downfall of our experience. We went through lake oak package and we were in contact with DJ mike for months leading up to the wedding. The week of we were told he is not working our wedding and assigned someone else to do it. He was not attentive or friendly with our guests. Did not take the Lead as an MC/Coordinator for the reception. Did not follow our timeline correctly and mispronounced our wedding party. Just did not seem like we were getting the quality of service we were paying for. It truly was a damper on our experience and unfortunately took us out of enjoying our reception with guests because we were stressed running around trying to get our guests organized for events, dancing, and send off. We took our issues to Administration/accounting and they were unaware that our officiants were switched or who our DJ was even supposed to be. Our experience was still amazing and we love Lake Oak Meadows, we just wouldn't want anyone to have the same issues we did when paying that amount of money for their wedding. read more

Let me start with, I'm horrible at planning anything! My fiancé and I went to view this venue and when we tell you we fell in love with how gorgeous it was it's an understatement. The important thing to note here is that they do a lot of weddings almost one every single day so towards the beginning they were undergoing a lot of changes within staff and it was difficult initially to contact them or get a response. Once it got closer to our wedding day we got a new coordinator named Tessa and she basically saved my sanity because from that moment on I had no issues and felt so prioritized. Be patient with them in the beginning because you're one of many brides they speak to on a daily basis (idk how you guys do it omg). Once you're wedding day is actually there, it will be worth every single penny. The food was amazing, the DJ is so good and attentive, our day of coordinator Hayley was also really nice and Victoria made sure to ask me if I needed anything she was there to make it happen. I can't stress enough how incredibly beautiful our wedding was and every single guest told us the pictures of the venue we sent did not do it justice. Also, get the horse carriage there won't be a dry eye when they see you coming in like a freaken Princess! We saw Tessa the next day when I went to pick up some things we left behind and she asked where we were going for our honeymoon and literally within the hour of us leaving she emailed us so many great ideas and recommendations. Lake Oak Meadows is lucky to have someone like her that is so kind, reassuring, goes above and beyond expectations, and genuinely you can tell she loves what she does. Where to begin?! This place is wedding perfection. We had our dream wedding on June 15, 2017 thanks to an incredible team of vendors and the amazing Lisa Occhipinti, our planner and new best friend. From the very beginning Layne gave us our tour and was incredibly helpful and instrumental in answering our questions. Throughout the planning process even though she has nothing to do with the wedding beyond reserving the date, she was available when minor issues arose and helped make sure everything was in place. Venue: To start with, the actual venue is absolutely gorgeous. We booked about a year and a half in advance to save our date and in that time they made so many improvements. They are constantly upgrading and making everything even more beautiful and perfect than it already is. You think it can't get any better but it does. The lake is so picturesque and kept perfectly manicured year round with gorges flowers. The fountains, fire pits, fire features in the lake, market lights for the reception, ceremony on the lake, and every other detail is just magical. The bathrooms for your guests are even beautiful. The bridal suite for getting ready it gorgeous! Planning and Day of Coordinator: Lisa Occhipinti from Celebrations by Diana. She was hands down the most instrumental and amazing person involved with our day. She totally nailed our vision and made all of our wedding dreams come true. She was so easy to work with and communicate with. She made the process fun and was always so reassuring that we were doing great and that everything was going to be perfect (and she was right, she made sure it was). Staff: Their staff the day of our wedding was absolutely A+. They were so gracious and catered to us as the bride and groom making sure we were always taken care of and constantly checking in with us. The bar staff was entertaining and friendly, the security and clean up crew was amazing, the catering team, the DJ, our day of coordinator and everyone else in between. The management was also incredibly helpful when a small issue arose and worked with us to fix it without making us feel stressed at all. DJ: Mike from Good Times Entertainment, he kept the party going and was an all around amazing DJ. We made an entire playlist for our cocktail hour and dinner and he played exactly as we requested. For the dance part we told him to do his thing and he totally rocked it. We had an small intimate wedding yet he kept our guests not he dance floor the entire time. Catering: Temecula Catering, you outdid yourself. We had a plated menu and it was beautiful and delicious. Our guests could not stop talking about how it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Temecula Catering was so easy to work with and really made sure we were extremely happy with our wedding menu prior to our wedding day. Everything was perfect! Cake: BoCakes. Super delicious and exactly beautifully how we envisioned. Rentals: Gonzalez Productions and Rentals was super easy to work with and so accommodating of our changing requests. Let me start off by saying that the lower rating is not due to the beauty of this place as a wedding venue. I was married here in November and the grounds are gorgeous and well-kept and on the day-of almost everything went off without a hitch. A big shoutout to our coordinator, Lisa, who was AMAZING throughout the entire process and helped pull off a great wedding. If i was basing the rating solely on the aesthetic of the venue and the staff i worked more closely with, it would be a 5star rating. However, we had significant communication issues with both the accounting department and catering department (not the places you want miscommunications when putting in such a financial investment!). We were supposed to have monthly invoices sent to us so that we could make monthly payments. We only received an initial invoice and then invoices in the last 2 months before the wedding. The invoices were continually incorrect and did not reflect the packages and items we were contracted to have. We continuously reached out via email, phone call to the venue, and through our coordinator to have this corrected and we almost never received any response back. There is no way to speak directly to the accountant and i believe the current accountant is the owner of the venue, so there is likely no accountability for errors. In the end, we ended up being the ones attempting daily contact so we could actually pay the venue, since they had not been responding to receive payment information. We were left severely disappointed by the lack of communication and the many errors made, and this added a significant amount of stress to myself and my family right before the wedding. I will say that, once again, our coordinator Lisa and Rebecca from the front office were incredibly supportive in trying to get through to accounting and get the issues resolved. In addition to accounting, we had many communication difficulties with the catering department. In their limited communication with us, they continued to document the incorrect menu package despite many emails and confirmations of the correct package (not to mention the fact that our contract stated the correct menu). This was an error that continued to persist for months. We also wanted to be in touch with them regarding menu ingredients to be mindful of food allergies for some of our close family members. We were told they could not provide us a list of ingredients, which i was able to accept (although it does seem odd they wouldn't be able to provide this). However, even in correspondence indicating the allergies we were trying to be aware of, there was constant miscommunications and limited responses. It felt as though no one was managing the catering email and, yet again, there was no way to directly contact the catering manager via phone. I will say, the food was delicious (which was a concern of mine since we never got to taste test anything!), but the bar package was still incorrect on the day of the wedding. Overall, LOM is a beautiful venue and you will likely have a gorgeous wedding here. The staff you'll be working with directly are kind and very helpful. However, if communication is important to you, please be aware that is a big barrier with this venue. I do know we were not the only couple who had these issues. I hope that our issues were reflective of short staffing or recent changes in staff and that they'll be resolved in the future, because it did put a damper on what should have been a stress free and wonderful time. read more

From the moment we stepped onto the property until the morning we left after spending a magic evening in the honeymoon sweet, my wife and I had an experience beyond our wildest dreams thanks to the team at Lake Oak Meadows. Do yourself a favor: get married here. Absolute MAGIC. For starters, the grounds are absolutely gorgeous. There is no better option when it comes to an outdoor venue complete with every jaw-dropping detail you could ever imagine. The ceremony cite is unmatched. Seriously, there is nowhere nearly as beautiful. Trust me, we looked. They turn on water features across the lake the minute you and your partner share your first kiss, which in and of itself is just the coolest thing ever. And don't even get me started on the last dance out on the dock, with flames lit in the middle of the fountains on the water. The reception space is perfect and has a million options for you to customize your ideal wedding experience for you and your guests. Both suites are more than you could wish for and provide everything you need. The staff at Lake Oak Meadows made us feel like ours was the only wedding that mattered, despite the fact that this place churns out weddings literally every single day. They are attentive, responsive, communicative, and kind. The morning we left, we gave hugs to everyone we encountered because it truly felt like we had formed new friendships. We can't wait to go back and visit. And one last thing: work with their preferred vendors. We did, and our experience was absolute perfection from beginning to end. My Best friend just had her wedding at Lake Oak Meadows and it was perfect! We had the most beautiful bridal suite to get ready in, I could tell my friend felt like a queen! Her coordinator Angela ( I think) was amazing!!!! She was so helpful and made our morning even better and less stressful. I appreciate that! The Ceremony was so Pretty, my friend had the MOST AMAZING ENTRANCE and when they kissed all the fountains went off and the music played!! IT WAS LIKE A FAIRYTALE! It felt so romantic and private there, Trees everywhere! And at night they all light up!! We were worried about the music, because we heard they used to have sound issues. Angela told us they just installed a new sound system throughout the entire venue! It was AWESOME! Great sound everywhere and the dance room was booming until the END! If you book here, its not even an issue and the DJ was awesome even took our requests and played them fast! And they had fire pits and chairs along the lake, we could all sit and talk under the stars. I wanted to write this because I know my friends had a blast, as did I! The whole day was seamless and the Venue was soooo organized it made our time there PERFECT! IF I ever get married, I would SOOOOO get married here, but I don't want to copy her... LOL read more

My Fiancé and I toured Lake Oak Meadows a few weeks ago and secured a 2021 wedding date. We cannot wait! We had such an amazing feeling about this venue when Mrs. Layne, our site tour guide, called us the night before to discuss the logistics. During the call we were able to get the tough part out venue touring out of the way and we were left with no financial surprises the day of. Then we saw the venue in person and we knew it was the perfect place. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and Mrs. Layne did an amazing job of painting a picture of what our day will look like. While all that the venue has to offer is a perfect selling point on its own, Mrs. Layne really sealed the deal for us. We are so looking forward to 2021 and we will update our review then. read more

My daughter had her perfect dream wedding this past July at Lake Oak Meadows. Everything was outstanding from start to finish. When we arrived the morning of the ceremony, our suite attendant - Janelle - welcomed us and had everything ready for the bridal suites. She was extremely helpful, cheerful and available for anything needed while getting ready. Our day of coordinator - Lisa - was an absolute Godsend! Several weeks before the wedding she spent a long time on the phone with my daughter detailing everything my daughter wanted. She was also available several times after for emails, questions and phone calls. She gave advice, helped with timelines and expectations and contacted all the vendors beforehand. She also was very patient as we gave her several revisions to the seating chart leading up to the day of the wedding. Lisa also made sure everything was set up exactly how we envisioned - even as we changed a few things last minute. When she was ready to leave just before the dinner started, she made sure to let me know she was leaving and that we were in good hands. For the rest of the evening, our DJ - Taylor - kept everything moving along flawlessly. Taylor had a great personality and did an incredible job! (If anyone needs a great DJ - look him up with Good Time Entertainment - you won't be sorry!) Adding to the spectacular evening was Temecula Catering. The food was delectable! So many of our guests have been raving about the food and saying it was the best they have ever had at a wedding. It truly was outstanding! The wait staff was superb as well! Even the security guard - Thomas - was extremely helpful and friendly! The staff and vendors provided by Lake Oak were unbelievably fantastic and treated us as if we were the most important people that day. Of course, the venue itself couldn't be any more beautiful. The grounds are some of the prettiest and most enchanting I have ever seen. The daylight showcases spectacular flowers along the water, gorgeous trees and beautiful vineyard areas, then the entire place lights up in the evening with twinkle lights everywhere, and fire in the lake! Out of the last 10 reviews, only 2 of them are positive. There's a reason for this.. If you are considering booking this venue, please read this and the other reviews. I cannot express how extremely disappointed I am with Lake Oak Meadows. Since my mother lives very close by, she was hand delivering our monthly checks. In April we realized they hadn't cashed our recent check, so my mother decided to swing by and to her surprise there was no one in the office. I reached out to an employee that had been working with us since we booked the venue and we never received a response. I called the venue multiple times. Again, no response. Finally, I reached out to LOM on Instagram and they sent me an email address to contact. When I emailed the given address, they let me know that most of their employees were laid off due to Covid-19 and they LOST my hand delivered check. I was pretty annoyed but I understand that accidents happen. In July 2020, I saw a rather unfavorable review about LOM on a Facebook group. They were having similar problems with the lack of communications and that was my first major red flag. My fiancé and I were supposed to get married at LOM in June 2021. His family lives across the country and we had a lot of questions about the venue's COVID-19 protocol. We understand that June is still quite a few months away, but we were hesitant on sending out invitations to 75 guests if they were only allowing 50 at the venue. We would hate for family members to book flights and hotels just for us to have to disinvite them. I called LOM and ended up being sent to voicemail. My mother tried to call them, and no one picked up. I called them again on another day and Rachel answered the phone. She was extremely rude to me and did not make me feel like my concerns were taken seriously. I understand that the venue cannot predict the future (June 2021) but they could at least tell me what they're doing right now, as they continue to hold weddings during the pandemic. The answers she did give me, did not make me feel comfortable moving forward with the venue (no concrete answers on the ceremony, a confusing response about reception, no refund for those services). After a long conversation with my fiancé and family, we decided to cancel our wedding date at LOM. PLEASE if you are considering booking this venue, look at their contract thoroughly. We cancelled 230 days out and lost 50% of our contract value. (Nearly $7000!) We did not taste food, or meet with DJ, or taste cakes, etc.. No services were performed and we still had to pay $7000 because of the contract. Please, please, please think again before booking LOM. With the myriad poor reviews on Yelp, Google, and The Knot, I do not see a bright future for this venue. read more

Can't wait to get married on this beautiful property!!! My fiancé and I were out in Temecula for the weekend and decided to venue hunt and see if we could take some tours at a few wineries. I called Lake Oak Meadows as soon as they opened, and one of the coordinators said she would see if the tour director could come in early and call me back. I felt so bad and said not to go out of their way if it was too much trouble. She insisted, and within 2 minutes, I got a call back saying they'd be happy to give us a tour! Upon parking, we didn't really know what to expect since it was just a dirt lot. It had pretty vines throughout the parking lot but we couldn't really see anything else. We found an arch and as we got closer, realized there were steps to take us down to the venue site. Once we got to the top of the steps, the view literally took my breath away! You could see a gorgeous view of the lake, the ceremony site, and the reception area, all draped with beautiful trees and greenery. As you make your way down the steps, there are beautiful vines to either side. Once we reached the bottom of the steps, we were greeted by Lake Oak Meadows' tour director Layne, with all the energy to get you through the worst Monday morning at work. She was AMAZING and Lake Oak Meadows is so lucky to have her. Layne literally swept us off our feet via golf cart and gave us a tour of the entire property. From the pretty ceremony area surrounded by the lake and the lounge area with fire pits, to the cool bar area and incredible bridal and groom suites, everything was well thought out with a wedding in mind. We were pretty quick to realize that this was really more of a wedding venue first, and a winery second. Side note, during one part of the tour, Layne went over the different options for my father walking me to the beginning of the aisle, and as she described one, the tears started flowing! After the tour, Layne brought us into her office and went over the different packages, dates, etc. As with many wedding venues, Lake Oak Meadows does require you to use their bar, preferred catering, and DJ. Quite honestly, this was the ONLY reason we didn't sign the dotted line right then and there. We took all the information, and we decided that we didn't need to look at any other venues in Temecula. I wanted to check out venues in San Diego, so we decided that if we didn't find anything out there and wanted to do Temecula, this was it. 6 venue tours later and all factors considered, we booked with Lake Oak Meadows for December of 2020! Ashlynn has helped us along with our contract and she's also been so sweet and great. My only regret is that we didn't just book it on site, because our ideal date in August got snagged up pretty quickly. So lesson of the story is...if you're in love with the venue when you visit, just book it! My fiancé and I are so happy with our decision and so excited to start our forever here. Lake Oak Meadows is definitely the most gorgeous, magical, fairytale location for a wedding! From the day I toured it with Layne (who is great & super welcoming), I fell in love! Everyone was super helpful in the wedding planning process including my wedding coordinator Diana Ross & Sara in the office. My wedding day was perfect thanks to this venue! The food was top notch & everyone complimented it, including the yummy pulled pork sandwich appetizers! The staff was very friendly including Temecula Catering Company. Everyone loved the magical gorgeous grounds & lake with the fountains & fire. DJ Mike was awesome & kept the party going all night long! The bride & groom suites were perfect for getting ready, stocked with champagne, beer & water. The honeymoon suite was so romantic & perfect for our 1st night as husband & wife! I would be wary of booking here, read the fine print. My fiance and I were very much looking forward to having our wedding here, however Covid-19 happened. I know that this is in no way the venues fault, but it is the venues fault that they are refusing to refund all the money paid when no services were rendered. We were scheduled to have our wedding in July, it was up in the air whether the wedding had to be postponed or not. They asked us to choose a backup date, so we chose one for next year. After the backup date was chosen the venue informed us that the wedding could happen on the original date, this year in July. My fiance and guests finalized flight and hotel bookings, took time off work, and spent a lot of money. 10 days later, they email us saying they had to postpone the wedding due to Covid-19. This was after it was already agreed the wedding would continue. The venue refused to offer a refund when we requested and said if we wanted to cancel it was on us and we would loose our money! This is horrible customer service and not legal. I know am in the process of taking the venue to small claims to try and get my money back. Long story short, I wouldn't trust them unless you have $10,000 and more to throw away. read more

Lake Oak Meadows at the Vitagliano Vineyards & Winery is an absolute dream location for any couple looking to get married in a gorgeous, outdoor setting. My husband Chris and I got married there October 8,2016 and the weather was absolutely perfect, as was everything else that day. I truly cannot express how incredibly gorgeous he grounds are. From the ceremony site between the two lakes with water fountains and fire (at night), to the cobblestone reception area and indoor dancing, to every gorgeous detail in the bridal suite and grooms suite while getting ready before the wedding. We were so blessed to have such a beautiful wedding at such a beautiful venue. And the fact that you can opt to arrive in a horse and carriage is just the cherry on the cake! It was beyond a dream and I do hope you consider this venue! Please look at all of the gorgeous photos I have shared from our day. I cannot thank Angela Durrance enough for all that she did to ensure that our day went smoothly and that we didn't even have a single thing to worry about, she handled it no matter how small it was. We toured ten venues and when we met Layne at Lake Oak Meadows, we knew that we were at an awesome place. She was very kind and enthusiastic. A lot of people at other venues felt like predators but we really felt like she had our best interests at heart. She gave us some great ideas of how to save money too. Also, Tessa in the office answered my email on Sunday 12/30 at 8pm! We are going to get married here because the people who work here truly go above and beyond to take care of their couples. We were married at LOM on 9-2-16. Although it went by so fast, from what I could remember it was almost perfect. No matter what there will probably b a few glitches on your special day but it will be okay. Pros: We had Hayley as our coordinator. She was wonderful from the very first day we met so we decided to upgrade the coordinator package. Throughout the wedding planning she set up all our vendor appts, she always answered all my email questions promptly ( and I had a billion!) and she was very helpful on our wedding day setting up and taking care of the vendors. On our wedding day the most helpful parts were that I had labeled everything on where it was supposed to go and sent photos ahead of time and she (and her assistant Melissa) were able to deliver exactly what I had imagined. She even made sure I ate which was very important for me! Also, she brought us wine and champagne. What service ;) Flawless venue in terms of the view and private!!! The cake by Bo Cakes was simply gorgeous. Was so in love with it. I do wish I got to take some home tho. I'm not sure if our cake was thrown away. I think I may have had one bite but hardly remember and wish some was saved for us. Fifi from Finicky Flowers did an amazing job on our flowers and was also able to capture what I wanted from the inspirations I gave her. I was really nervous that the bouts, bouquet and centerpieces weren't going to b how I imagined and they ended up being perfect and way better. For what we paid for we got a lot. She did an amazing job and I was very impressed. The DJ Mike was great. Very nice. Great music! Kept everything on time. I honestly can't remember if he played all our request but I know he got the important ones all correct! Madam Palooza did a great job setting up our sweetheart table. It was gorgeous and they were great to work with. We also rented a beautiful couch, mirror ( calligraphy with table numbers by Tiana which was beautiful) and chandelier. Temecula catering was great from our first tasting til the wedding day. The food was just as good on the day of! Ty Tyler was our officiant and was also great. He met with us prior to the wedding which was nice. He incorporating everything we asked during the ceremony which was so nice of him. He also provides you with some vow and quote options which was helpful ! Cons: I was initially excited about this place because the bridal and groom suite was included (which is hard to find) but when it comes down to the wire the times they provide are actually useless to actually have the bride get ready. Bridal suite opens at 11am but we had to start hair and make up at 8:15 am and the stylist wouldn't change locations once started. So we had to get a hotel so we could have the room all through the day to get ready so so that was a little misleading to me as a novice bride lol. Like other Yelpers say they are very strict about their closing time. One minute we were dancing to our last song and the next minute family member were helping to pack everything up. It just happened fast and felt so rushed. For summer weddings it would of been nice to start a little closer to 6 cause the sun was so bright and we missed out on a lot of great photos at the alter cause of the shadows and the immense sunlight ( not LOMs fault just FYI) If you are staying in the honeymoon suite make sure you receive the code prior to ur wedding day and keep in your phone cause one of the attendants gave the wrong code. We went out after the wedding and when we came back the gate was locked and had to squeeze thro the gate and walk to the suite in the dark. Scary! Well I have waited to do a review on our wedding venue because I wanted to give Tanya the proper amount of time to respond to my many emails. Let's just say the venue is beautiful but if fell short after that..... I had major issues with a few staff members there, they were rude to a few of our guests and definitely not very professional. Catering left dirty plates on guests tables for hours, even as cake was being cut and served dinner plates were still on tables. My daughter who was the bride was very disappointed with the coordinator Angela. She felt she was treated poorly and did not help with things we thought she should of been able to help with...instead she sat waiting impatiently useless (at times) Before the evening was even over I had been in contact with Tanya (a manager) we were to connect after all was over and things had settled down. Finally we connected and many things were promised to make up for the disappointment of the staff, and evening falling short of what we expect and/or paid for. I was in contact with Temecula catering, Lake Oak Meadows and Madam Palooza all regarding issues we had. Everyone was pointing fingers at each other instead of accepting fault. This went on for wks!! As for Temecula Catering... We had vegetarian meals that were never served, when asked we were told they were not ordered but as I had proof via emails they were ordered just never brought to the site, now remind you we did not have a choice on catering you have to use them. Also had issues with servers not picking up dirty dinner plates unless asked. LOM issues were with the staff Madam Palooza... They entered before our event was over with their own access code with 2 trucks 1 being a uhaul truck to pick up decor and is seen in video footage and pictures of the last dance on the dock. Now all of this is on a time line and the coordinator is aware of everything. Oh where was the coordinator, she left early, I was totally unaware of! Ladies pls make sure you ask how long they will be there, because some of this could of been taken care of if our Coordinator was still on property, Also had I known she had left I would have been on the phone with her. Our photographer and videographer were very upset because lighting had already been set up for the last dance. Who wants a big uhaul truck in the background of their wedding pics of their last dance??? When reaching out to Madam Palooza they told me they had to arrive early because LOM does not allow them enough time to pick up a large event order like ours and we should speak to LOM. I did of course and the fingers just kept getting pointed. Very frustrating when you spend this amount of money on a venue expecting to get what you paid for but you do not. My husband and I were thoroughly upset with this being our only daughter. I worked tiredly and endlessly on making sure every moment would be beautiful and unforgettable day. In the end we were offered the venue for a 1 yr anniversary, but then they took that back because they wanted us to do it on a Monday which didn't work out for us. Then we were offered their Airbnb for the event which I agreed to with no calendar restrictions. After waiting for some pics of the Airbnb I have totally lost contact with Tanya! Numerous emails and calls with absolutely no response! It has been months and I have been unable to get a hold of her. Now I agreed to this and stopped pressuring them and held off on this review because I believed they would make good on the promises but as of yet they have fallen short again of what they have promised. So sad and disappointing. On another note I had joined their wine club so I could serve the wines at the reception as I was told! Well I never received 1 bottle of wine and nobody could find any of them. Tanya finally found my membership and we were suppose to be able to serve these bottles at the 1 yr anniversary party which appears to not be happening after all. So months of paying for wine we never received and to this day haven't not received a penny for any of it. This was offered instead of reimbursement All that was done this far was cancelation of my membership. So where do I go from here? Promises that weren't kept, wine that was paid for but never received and a disappointment again. Ask questions ladies! We wanted to trust and believe they would take good care of us, in the end I'm not sure that has happened here. We fell in love with the venue but were blindsided with the lack professionalism and the lack of compassion when things fell short. Where do I even start?! IT WAS PERFECT! If you are looking for a private, beautiful venue look no further! My husband and I got married on 8/24/2018 and we are thrilled we chose this venue! Lake Oak Meadows exceeded ALL of our expectations!! From the moment you walk down the stairs to the venue it takes your breath away. It definitely has the "WOW" factor. The staffs professional and hospitality was nothing short of incredible. I am a simple bride who prefers A,B,C options and with their recommended vendors it made the entire process even easier! From photographers to dessert, to rentals they honestly have the best recommendations. Sara was our venue coordinator and she was amazing! She was quick to respond to emails, very helpful and kept us on track throughout the planning process. One of my favorite areas on the property was the bridal & grooms suite. It was gorgeous, spacious and convenient to have on the property to get ready as well as hold all of our things till the end of the evening. Our wedding coordinator Hayley Radford went above and beyond to make our day not only special and unique but PERFECT! From the day we met her on the venue tour she felt like a friend and was a joy to be around. We were so excited when we found out she would be our coordinator! She set up our florist, dessert, food tasting and rental appointments and joined on some as well. This made is so easy and stress-free for us. She is talented and she truly cares about each couple. She nailed every detail and request we had turning our dream into reality. She was easy to communicate with and made the process fun. We will definitely stay in touch with her in the future! Mike from DJ Good Times was one of their recommended DJ's and I cant say enough good things about him! He did a phenomenal job and the dance floor was always full. After stumbling upon Lake Oak Meadows it took a quick tour to know that we were both in LOVE! It had everything we wanted a beautiful outside ceremony space, plush gardens, and a reception under market lights. We planned out wedding at LOM early 2020. Had to reschedule because we had covid the day before our wedding date. They were great about rescheduling and accommodating us. Had our wedding 3.15.21 and it was fabulous! All staff was friendly and helpful. It rained most of the morning but they still cleaned up and made everything presentable. Lisa was our coordinator and she was fabulous! I would recommend her over and over again. Mike our DJ was also amazing and very accommodating! Temecula Catering and 1914 bakery were both excellent in there service and food. Our guests loved the venue and everything included. My husband and i got married on April 26. LOM was/is the venue of my dreams. So gorgeous!!! Everything went smooth, including all the communication leading up to the wedding. Every time I called the venue or the coordinator, my questions were answered...no problems at all. All the ladies were helpful and happy to help! I've read some of the other comments and you have to understand that there is dirt...it's all outdoors! (There's also a lake, fountains, fire pits...just gorgeous.) As the bride, my white satin shoes did not get ruined or even dirty, and I walked a 4 minute walk around the lake! Like I said earlier, this is a dream venue. When I first saw it in person I cried bc it reminded me of The Notebook. This place is perfect!!!! I have recommended this venue to so many people already. It's affordable and so beautiful. All the vendors they recommended were perfect, could not have asked for anything more. Tessa was an absolute pleasure to work with during this past year and of course being a Kings fan isn't a bad thing either. The service on the day of our wedding was second to none. I got married recently here. Like many brides lately I had to reschedule. However, all of the lovely ladies in the office made things as easy on me as possible. They worked with me and tried to accommodate our first date as much as possible. Even offered a small ceremony and the reception on a later date. I was impressed with the customer service I received! Then we came to the wedding day! My bridal attendant Brenda was amazing! I have her running around delivering things. Taking my wedding party here and there. She took it all in stride and made my morning so stress free! Our coordinator Hayley was an absolute angel! She went above and beyond to help us get our mostly diy wedding all set up. She rallied my rowdy group which is not the easiest to do! The recpetion was amazing as well! The catering was amazing and my guests were so impressed! Dj Mike was the best! Kept the party going for us! Hannah in the bar was the sweetest thing! She handles the busy bar so well! The serving staff and captain were amazing as well! My wedding was here one month ago. It was an absolute DREAM! Lake Oak Meadows was the perfect venue for me and my husband to get married. From day one of touring this venue I knew I wanted tot get married here. The staff...incredible! You feel so welcomed and cared for here. If you get to work with KACY as your wedding coordinator, she is the BEST! So energetic, and really makes your day feel special. She took care of every worry on my wedding day, listened to my vision, and kept the night flowing. All the vendors were great and reliable. My flowers were done by Creative corner with Meg and she did such an amazing job covering all the details I envisioned. I know nothing about flowers, and gave her little to work with other than my colors. BUT, of course the flowers she selected were amazing and better than I imagined! This place really has it all from the grounds, to the bridal suites, to the ambiance. Walking through my wedding and seeing all the little details and care that went into my day. Every where I looked their was more and more to see. I couldn't thank the staff enough. The open bar was so great and the bartenders were so nice. So glad I went with this place and would do it all over again just to experience it twice! read more

Married 04.16.16 Absolutely breathtaking and amazing!!! I was a super stressed out Bride in the beginning and I had my doubts about my vision coming to life with only the day of coordinator for that day. A month before our wedding, Lisa gave us a call and met with us to discuss details. She made us feel at ease. My mom packed each bin with detailed instructions and a photo of where it goes to help which is a great way to insure that everything goes according to your dream. Lisa had us on schedule and let us know what was next. She even asked if we would like to delay 15 minutes to allow for more guests to arrive. We had 160 invited guests and about 70 showed to ceremony around 5ish due to coachella happening and causing traffic. More guests showed through the reception. The weather was perfect and made me feel relieved since it was windy the night before. The catering is through LOM but worth every penny. It's not like those things where you go to a tasting and then your food is cold or not great day of. They gave us vegetarian options and even catered to a severe onion allergy for one of my guests. They announced regular meals to one side and vegetarian/allergies to the other. We had seconds and about 15 guests got up for that. All our guests complimented us on the food. Carriage is worth the $650 and be prepared for not a dry eye in sight. My hardcore Chicago family even said they melted when I rounded the corner with my dad. DJ was awesome, he helped with the flow after dinner as DOC is pretty much done for the evening. My slideshow had a mess up and he distracted by getting the ball rolling with cake cutting and lightened the moment with jokes when I got it to play again. Overall, the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Also the honeymoon suite was nice to not have to worry about driving anywhere. We even got complimentary continental breakfast in the morning from corner bakery. Definitely recommend this add on as well. The fire lit on last dance at the water, the scenery, everything was breathtaking and even had a family member telling her new husband to get Married again, so they could re-marry at LOM. I will definitely come back to take pictures when we have our first baby. On my honeymoon now and can't help but love this place for the fairytale it gave me. read more

Buyer Beware! This is a beautiful facility and it is easy to get enamored. We visited twice, picked a date and negotiated all the costs. Then we were sent the contract. I was stunned. In the contract in 2 separate parts it says that they have the right to change the prices at any time. Here the first: ADDITIONAL PRICING: The signee is made aware that Oak Meadows Ranch Inc.'s current prices are subject to change. As prices within the economy fluctuate Oak Meadows Ranch Inc. reserves the right to change prices included in this signed contract and Contract Cost Breakdown. (Initial) ______ , _______ Here is the second: CONTRACT PRICE ADJUSTMENT: Clients and Oak Meadows Ranch, Inc. acknowledge that since the wedding is set for a future date, there may be an increase in the contract price resulting from cost increases in food, alcohol, labor, etc. Oak Meadows Ranch, Inc. agrees to supply Clients with a breakdown of costs at the time of execution of this Agreement up to sixty days prior to the actual wedding date. Clients agree to pay the increase thirty days prior to the actual wedding date. If Clients fail to pay the increase, Oak Meadows Ranch, Inc. may treat the Agreement as cancelled under the Cancellation Policy above and Clients will not be entitled to any refund of prior payments made to Oak Meadows Ranch, Inc. Basically, this is only a contract to save the date. It protects Oak Meadows but you have zero protection. All prices you agree to up front are worthless. They have the right to charge you whatever they want at any time. The cancellation cost is 100% if within 180 days of the event. You have no choice but to take their increases because you are forced to pay the entire fee. Also keep in mind that there is 20% service charge on everything. My husband and I got married at Lake Oak Meadows last month in September. There are no words to properly describe how beautiful the wedding was. Someone recently said it looked like it was straight out of a fairy tale and I think that was the best description I've heard so far. The venue is breathtaking. The pond, flowers, grapevines, dock, ceremony area, market lights, reception area, fire pits, and the list goes on and on. Everything was stunning. Also, our DJ Mike was awesome! The LOM staff was awesome. They were great about answering all of our questions leading up to the wedding and extremely helpful on the day of. The grooms' suite was awesome. Pool table, couches, TV, rustic feel, etc. The bridal suite was a good size and decorated well. The staff was very organized and everything went on schedule throughout the entire day. I've had numerous people tell us that it was the prettiest wedding venue they've ever been to. Normally I'd say they were just being polite..but, I had to agree. I was in awe most of the night about how perfect everything looked. At night, the pond has fountains with fire coming out and there is just so much to look at and enjoy. We had guests that were dancing, others that were walking around to take in the venue and others enjoying a glass of wine by the fire pits. It had something for everyone.
