This property is absolutely beautiful--it's spacious, impeccably maintained, and has so many perfectly landscaped spots for wedding photos. Every corner of the venue made for a stunning backdrop, and our pictures turned out incredible because of it. A huge reason this venue became our number one choice was Lisa, who gave us our tour. She made such a genuine connection with us that we simply didn't find at the dozen or so other venues we toured. That personal touch made all the difference and is what ultimately made this venue our first choice. We genuinely felt valued from our very first visit, and every meeting afterward reinforced that feeling. I also have to give the biggest shoutout to our venue coordinator, Meghan. She made our wedding day completely seamless and stress-free. I truly can't compliment her enough! She is SO sweet, incredibly organized, and made sure every little thing we wanted to happen actually happened. Incident Involving Mona Dirks (Approximately 10:00 AM) During routine event preparation, Marques Webb communicated with supervisor Louis regarding a simple request for Mona Dirks to assist with folding a small number of napkins. In response, Mona reacted with hostility, raising her voice in an aggressive and unprofessional manner. She pointed her finger in Marques's face and made a threatening statement: "You don't know who you're messing with." This behavior was unwarranted and inappropriate for a professional environment, especially during critical wedding setup operations. The incident created a hostile and disruptive atmosphere that negatively impacted workflow and team cohesion. 2. Management Interruption and Escalation During this timeframe, supervisor Lisa was pulled away from an ongoing meeting multiple times due to the situation. Marques maintained consistent communication with Louis regarding task coordination. The escalation and breakdown in communication were not caused by Marques. 3. The lake, boat ride,ceremony site, are all unique factors if you're trying to decide to get married here.. My experience as a guest was great. The shuttle driver Emerson made great conversation and always had a smile on his face. so that was a great start to the day. We were greeted by more workers with champagne and it was beautiful. everything seemed to start on time. The food was amazing at cocktail hour. The bartender hannah was a true gem! i just wanted to take her home with me, her drinks were delicious and she was so quick!! i've never seen such efficient service as a bartender working solo with this many guests! Dinner was amazing and the dj noah really got the party going! i have no complaints only compliments for the later half of the evening. my only comment would be to tell the manager to get odd his phone lol he seemed to be confused walking around on his phone. i asked one of the servers if he worked here and they replied that he is there boss. i noticed he didnt do much other than walk on his phone around the property! i cannot wait to attend another los willows wedding in the future and i hope i can recommend and influence another bride to book here! read more

She told me Lisa will help me out and it's at 11:30 and she's with a client. I saw her sitting with a bride family talking about money and seating so I'm like ok I'm here 15 mins early we were told by the other lady to walk the venue so we did. The venue was pretty the finance thought it felt more like a house We get back at 1130 she still was talking so we go outside. 1145 she's still talking to them sees me doesn't say anything so I'm like ok I'll use the restroom. 12 she's still talking doesn't even come to me apologize for being behind So we left. My daughter and son-in-law's wedding was at Los Willows (LW) last month. We had a little scare with a fire that started on the other side of the hill, along with a shelter in place order. LW's staff was absolutely amazing. They were on the phone with the fire department immediately and were very reassuring that the fire department had it all under control. Jen Salinas was a rock star in all that she did to make sure that everything ran smoothly. Mona was such a sweetheart in her attentiveness to our senior family members that needed assistance getting around the grounds. All of the staff members were exceptional, and we could not have asked for a more beautiful day. The landscaping is so breathtaking, the lake makes it feel like you are nestled away in a beautiful resort, and the meadow is so perfect, a must see at night as well. OMG where do I even begin?! I was in a wedding party at Los Willows, but it truly felt like I was working the venue instead of celebrating someone's big day. As a former bride myself, I know what a wedding venue should provide. I promise you -- Los Willows is not that venue. If you take even 5 minutes to look at lower-star reviews here, you'll see exactly what we experienced: rather than taking accountability, they respond by gaslighting the person expressing concerns. The pattern is clear and honestly, it's a huge red flag. The venue itself is beautiful -- but it's paired with staff who: Lack basic professionalism, don't know what they're doing, Have zero communication system, lack leadership, make inappropriate comments in front of guests, are visibly stressed and disorganized, and consistently reply "I don't know" to every important question. From the moment my then-fiancée-now-wife Michelle and I first toured Los Willows, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. But on top of the absolutely gorgeous venue, what made our entire wedding experience truly over-the-top extraordinary was our coordinator Heather. THE VENUE: Not exaggerating when I say we were obsessive about picking a venue; by the time we toured Los Willows, we had toured at over 30 venues and literally kept Word documents and Excel spreadsheets documenting every single experience. By the time we got to LW, we were more or less resigned to the thought that every venue would have some things that we liked, and many things that we had to compromise on. And then we toured Los Willows. It was the only venue we went to where we loved every single thing about it. The grounds are breathtaking, every corner is photo-worthy, and the atmosphere feels like something out of a dream. The wedding aspect wasn't an afterthought like some venues that were normally something else (bar, golf course, restaurant) and did weddings as an afterthought to cash in on wedding income, but an entire dedicated estate for the purposes of our (and maybe your!) wedding. Other places we've seen with the whole estate dedicated to weddings did stuff like split the property into 2 or sometimes even 3 sections to run 2-3 simultaneous weddings. They felt impersonal, like the property was just a money-generating machine. But with Los Willows, you get the ENTIRE (HUGE) property to yourselves, dedicated to making your wedding the best that it could be. Los Willows feels like a dream land, overflowingly packed with infinite small details to make you and your partner and your family and friends ooh and ahh. A cute red roadster for the coolest entrance ever, the drooping lights hanging from the willow trees, two dedicated getting-ready HOUSES (not a room; HOUSES, on-property) for the bride and groom and the wedding party to hang out in, a lake with ducks and turtles and a boat. There was something for everyone: us, our families, our wedding party and all of our guests. The property was pristine and glorious and something out of a fairytale. THE COORDINATOR: Heather wasn't just good at her job, she was something of a miracle worker. Our wedding day was the best day of my life, but also one of the most stressful. But it seemed like every time I was about to die from the stress, Heather appeared, like a magical wedding fairy. She kept everything in line, always having the perfect solution, the right words, and the calm confidence, even when many uncontrollable elements of the day caused numerous delays and setbacks. She juggled every curveball with grace, speed, and a smile. She handled my anxiety and obsessiveness to make sure everything was perfect for my bride, and was always able to calm me down and make things happen. She managed the schedule, organized with the vendors, and handled all the behind-the-scenes issues before I even knew they existed. I don't know how she did it all, but I do know I could not have imagined our wedding without her there. Heather is the reason we were able to actually enjoy our day rather than me crashing out in a corner somewhere (there were infinitely many beautiful corners at the venue, perfect for taking pictures or having minor crash-outs). We've been part of the Los Willows family since 2018. My wife and I initially booked at their sister site Paradise Falls; and our original date was set for April 11, 2020. We've had such a wonderful experience with everyone who had helped us. The most amazing person was Lynne. She truly made us feel like family with every warm greeting. I'm so happy that she was the one that broke the news to us about Paradise Falls. She invited us to continue on with Los Willows. We trust Lynne entirely so we said yes to booking Los Willows without even checking it out. I'm glad we did because we loved our wedding at Los Willows! Lynne is the reason why we still wanted to have our wedding. She's so kind and loving. She checked in on us and was there for us every step of the way. She wanted to ensure that our wedding was as stress-free as possible! The big day was great! Los Willows has so many wedding items that are included or available for upgrades. They even provide a day of coordinator. I think that it would make the day even smoother to have the venue coordinator and your own personal coordinator. We had some extra features that didn't make it out on the big day, but no use in sweating the small details. Our favorite thing about the venue is that it's dog-friendly! Our pups were able to be at our wedding too. The venue itself is gorgeous! There are also many activities to keep the guests engaged. One thing I cannot stress enough is to GET THE EXTRA HOUR. This venue is beautiful and your guests will love it. The ceremony space is magical, the boat ride is fun and unique, the cocktail hour space can be fun and relaxed with games, and the reception space gives you the indoor and outdoor feel with the clear garage doors. Additionally, it is a private event center so no random people will be walking around or trying to crash your wedding. We chose this venue for all of those reasons. We also chose this venue because it included a wedding planner, wedding coordinator, caterer, bar/alcohol, DJ, and photography company for 2 hours. Our wedding in April 2024 was beautiful, the food was good, and our guests raved about it. However, I won't say that the process of working with this venue was smooth sailing. First, when we did the initial tour, Liza Isacsson advised us that it would be no problem to get Modelo or 805 beer at the bar. We came to find out at the planning meeting that they only provide you with 3 craft beers (5 gallon kegs each) from their list of 13 beers. And they only let you select 1 of those beers and they select the other 2. Had we have known that from the beginning, we never would have picked this venue because food and alcohol was very important to us. Thankfully, we spoke to our planner, Tamra, and she spoke to the director, Lynne, and she approved for us to select all 3 beers due to the misleading information we were given. I also want to point out that their craft beer menu says that you can pay a $300 fee to bring in your own keg (max number of 2) which is absolutely outrageous because a 5.5 or 7.75 gallon keg itself doesn't even costs that much. We chose the elegant package which gave our guests free beer and wine from 4:30pm to 8:30pm. We added an extra hour to our wedding (started at 4pm) for the additional cost and I highly recommend you do that if you have a wedding here because it still did not seem like enough time. Additionally, if you want a special juice or cocktail you have to provide the recipe to the venue to make or have a licensed caterer/company bring it in. If the venue makes your special drink or cocktail, they will not allow you to try it first. Therefore, we decided not to do the speciality juice we wanted for a possible signature drink. The director, Lynne, does make multiple sangrias and if you do the beer/wine package or higher package they will include the sangria (one red and one white) in those packages. Once again they will not allow you to try the Sangria prior to your selections. I was told this is because they make a large batch at one time and they cannot make a small batch, which we understood. Since it was included in our package, we chose the pear and blackberry sangria and they were very good. Our wedding planner Tamra was great. In the beginning of February 2024, I wanted to be able to meet with the wedding coordinator because I really needed to see the items they offered again to visualize the decorations. However, I was told I wouldn't be introduced to them until 60 days out and the final meeting takes place about 30 days before the wedding. This is what happened and our wedding coordinator was Brianna. I do not feel like 30 days was enough time to prepare for all the decisions I needed to make in that last month. Even on the wedding checklist Los Willows has online, it says you will meet with your coordinator 2-3 months before the wedding. I also asked if I could just go to the venue to look at the space again and the items they include (because I needed to know what other items I needed to purchase) and I was told that I could go to the venue to look around but I wouldn't be given access to the design studio. Additionally once we met with Brianna in March, she didn't get the table layout to me until April 7. I was ordering a special seating chart and it barely got to us in time for our wedding due to that delay. I was told multiple times by Brianna that she had multiple weddings each week and it made me feel like she didn't have time for our wedding. Ultimately, the last month felt very chaotic and I wish they had allowed us to meet with Brianna earlier because there were a lot of things I couldn't make decisions on until I got answers from her. Additionally, I am a very visual person and I don't go to a lot of weddings so there were a lot of things that I needed explanation on or options to consider. I am writing this review because of mine, Danielle and my fiance, Brandon's experience touring Los Willows venue with Lisa Moore. Her knowledge, experience with weddings, how personable she was, how kind, genuine, sincere, caring, passionate, and patient she is made it easy for us to choose Los Willows as our wedding venue. I was referred to Lisa Moore from my good friend. My fiance and I are so happy we got to meet with Lisa Moore but our only complaint was that our scheduled hour tour with her was nowhere near enough time to get to know each other, ask questions, tour the land, or get all the thorough details and estimates. In fact, Lisa had a line of people waiting for her while we were in our timeslot and because my fiance and I were feeling rushed since we barely covered anything within that one hour with her we asked her if we could come back after her last appointment that day to get the tour and the time one deserves when considering such a major life decision like that. Luckily enough, Lisa made time for us to return again a couple hours later after her last appointment to finish where we left off. My fiance and I both work in the healthcare fields and we know how important it is to be thorough with our patients during the allotted time, especially since I am also an instructor in healthcare this is very important that I give constructive criticism to my students. Therefore, I have to make it a point to say that the 1 hour tours is too short of a time for each appointment and the time allotted needs to be extended. If Lisa didn't make time for us again at the end of the day to continue our tour there would be a good chance that we may not have gone with that venue because the rushing through everything in that hour is an INSANE EXPECTATION. Lisa made our experience phenomenal, especially with how she catered to us because we could tell that she truly cares about what she does and she makes every individual she's comes in contact with feel heard and important. You're venue is very lucky to have Lisa as one of the faces for the venue. Again, I highly recommend pushing the time slots to be longer or else just the short allotted time would be a reason for someone to decide against going with Los Willows venue because there isn't enough time to cover everything. I would also like to request that Lisa Moore is our wedding planner and our wedding coordinator for December 5th due to her insight, knowledge and how easily she understood mine and my fiance's vision for our wedding. Horrible service! I am warning not to come here. We were in the bridal salon on the property and they never came to check on the bride! After we were ready we had to go find someone to transport her. They tried saying they didn't have her number but we are walking distance. They paid for open bar, and they were the most watered down drinks we ever had. I drank 4 and nothing at all. They never announced the cake was available so people weren't able to eat it. At the end a staff member said a lot of the cake was left over and for the bride to pick it up the following day. We even saw the huge amount left. Then when they tried calling to pick it up, they said there was none left. I'm very disgusted with this place and the people. Apparently you all took the cake home. Also they brought decorations on their own and he was unable to grab everything because he was kicked out. It was extremely rushed at the end of the wedding basically to get you out. They treat you very differently when they want you to pick them, good riddance at the end. I had my wedding here earlier this month (January 2023) and although it stormed on our wedding day, they made sure everything went smoothly indoors. I also liked how they had a list of recommended vendors which made the process easier. Our wedding planner/coordinator was Rialee and she did such an amazing job! My husband and I have taken much care in writing a detailed and honest review of our experience getting married at Los Willows. If you are considering getting married at Los Willows, I urge you to read it and be fully informed of their practices before risking the most special day of your life. In short, the venue itself is beautiful, however their staff is rude, their coordinators are not equipped, they are dishonest and take no responsibility for their errors and do not honor their end of a contract, and the food portions are lacking. Ultimately, they are very expensive and highly motivated around revenue, not what is supposed to be the best day of your life. We spent the first 3 months of our married life emailing back and forth with Los Willows trying to make sure what happened to us never happens to another couple and also trying to understand why it happened to us at all. The venue took responsibility for one incident, but dismissed ALL our other claims and concerns, which believe me were many, with an "I'm sorry and thanks for letting us know" attitude. There are not enough positive things I could say about Los Willows. From booking our wedding date to the day we got married Los Willows was nothing short of amazing. The team at Los Willows is unmatched and made wedding planning a breeze. Tamra, our day of coordinator was incredible, she was extremely attentive and assisted in every way possible. Tamra provided incredible advice and ensured that our wedding day would be exactly how we imagined. Lynne, where do I even start with her? Lynne is one of the most incredible people I have ever gotten to work with. There is something special about knowing that someone is just a phone call away especially when it comes to one of the biggest days of your life. I was able to connect with Lynne on several occasions and with every conversation I walked away with a sense of relief because I knew that Lynne was going to take care of me. Lynne is an incredible business woman and I was so thankful to have had her throughout my wedding planning process, she truly goes above and beyond. One might even say she has a way to scare the rain away. In addition to being a one stop shop when it comes to wedding venues, the Los Willows team also partners with an incredible caterer. The food is incredible and I wish James and his team could cater every meal for us. "This is the most beautiful wedding I've ever been to" I heard MULTIPLE times on my wedding day. The ceremony spot in the meadow is RIDICULOUSLY gorgeous. There's all different lights hanging from the trees, a water fall in the distance and a huge arch. Everything is so green and pretty. The reception area as well is indoor but one side is open so it's never too hot and stuffy. They have loads of decor and options to choose for to make your wedding perfect. Everyone I worked with was great, but mainly Tamra! She helped me through the process and i never felt like she was annoyed at me when I changed my mind 100 times! She was also my day of coordinator and she was so calming to have around. It's a nerve wracking day and she helped so much. You really are the best! read more

After searching through a number of venues, we visited Los Willows and knew that this was going to be our wedding venue. This place is AMAZING! Not only is the venue unlike anything we have ever seen, but the staff was top notch too. They genuinely care about your big day. They are not pushy and always willing to help with anything they can. Our day of coordinator, Nancy, was THE BEST!!! If you chose Los Willows to be your venue or choice, I highly suggest you request Nancy as your day of coordinator. YOU WON'T REGRET IT!! Thank you again Nancy!! Los Willows also offers a suggested vendor list for the DJ, photographer, florist, etc and as many of them have worked together for years, it makes everything go that much more seamless. We took advantage of their preferred vendors and you can clearly tell how well they work together as a team making that day seamless. Read the fine print throughly, when a contract says " act of god" that only covers a few things NOT a pandemic we could not control. We lost out on $ 2,500 and had only visited the property once. When I asked about about a refund far out in advance considering they had closed down and canceled all our meetings and food tasting they said they had their lawyers ready and that this was an unforeseen event which is not in the contract. Thank god we hadn't made more payments or they would have kept that too. After doing some research I saw a few sad reviews one with a husband that got deployed and they were trying to keep their $10,000 thats just wrong. Another one mentions if it rains you are basically screwed. If your looking for a beautiful, honest place to get married go to Coyote Hills Golf Course in Fullerton. My friend paid up front in full and got a 100% refund including the down payment. I can't speak for what it was like to get married there but my experience was extremely disappointing considering how careless they were. I know they did not plan the pandemic but neither did I and I would have appreciated any percentage of a refund! read more

Update:  Within an hour of posting this review, I was contacted by one of the Coordinators, Glenn.  He apologized for what happened and graciously offered to honor our original package.  I really do appreciate the efforts and felt that Glenn's swift and professional response deserved noting.  Unfortunately, in this case I'm afraid there really is no fixing the situation as the overall sales experience just really left us feeling uneasy.  I really wish it wasn't the case because I loved the location so much, but honestly we just can't see ourselves getting married there now after such a negative experience.  However, thank you Glenn for reaching out and trying.  .......................................................................... BAIT AND SWITCH!  My fiance and I have been searching for an all-inclusive venue for a small, simple wedding.  We were so excited to see the mini plus wedding offering as well as the weekday packages on their website.  We visited for a tour over the weekend and fell in love with the venue.  It was absolutely gorgeous and to be honest, everything we had envisioned.  We were ready to put our deposit down that day, but there were a few details that Liza said she needed to ask about first.   Liza contacted me the following Monday with good news about details on the mini plus wedding, but then in discussing details with her, she mentioned that I could do a regular wedding package for almost the same price.  This would open up seats for more people and I would be able to have a DJ with a traditional reception that includes dancing.  She sent over a quote that only included the venue, food, and DJ.  The "all inclusive" part was really fuzzy and the more I asked for clarity, the more conflicting responses I received and the more I started to feel mislead.  I inquired if everything else was included (things like cake, flowers, photographer, etc) as advertised on the website for the weekday package. She responded that it is not included, those things are all extra.   Confused, I sent her a screen shot of the weekday package advertised on her website.  Her response was "I am so sorry for the confusion. The all inclusive wedding package and the mini wedding plus are no longer being offered at Los Willows. Our computer tech company is in the process of removing those wedding packages from our website. I just found out about the mini wedding package is no longer being offered as of this morning, as well. So, I am so sorry, but the only wedding package I can offer you at this point is the Signature Wedding package"    This feels very much like a bait and switch scam.  If you have something advertised on your website, the honest thing to do is to honor it.  I am absolutely saddened by the terrible sales experience at Los Willows.  It is truly unfortunate because this location was so incredibly magical otherwise.  Weddings are not cheap which makes this a really important decision.  As much as I loved the location, this misleading experience just left such a sour taste for us. Los Willows venue was gorgeous and the staff was amazing throughout the whole process. We went with many of the provided vendors as we are not the DIY couple ourselves and would rather experts take care of most of it. Liza helped us book the venue at the beginning and kept us within our ideal budget. Jennifer was super friendly, providing us all the details throughout the months leading up to the very last month. Samantha made herself readily available at all hours and did an amazing job with coordinating day of. Red Tail Catering was outstanding. We really enjoyed the process of picking our menu for the day. Our guests still rave about how delicious their dinner was! Elegance on Display was took care of our floral. They kept us within our budget throughout the whole process and were very responsive. True Photography provided a great support team- everyone was willing to help and answer any questions. We were able to book our engagement photographer -Pauleen- for the day of our wedding because she did amazing. Nico our second photographer did a awesome job interacting and capturing great moments throughout our wedding night. Lastly, Shane, our DJ understood the assignment by keeping our guests on the dance floor, on time with speeches and entrances. Our wedding day was a magical dream thanks to these people! read more

My daughter recently got married at Los Willows and we were very impressed with all the staff. From the initial meeting up through the day of the wedding. Everyone in the office, Lynne, Liza, Linda, Rialee, and Jennifer. The day was perfect and I can't say enough good things about our day of coordinator, Jennifer Armenta. She was on top of everything and when we had any questions she was very responsive and organized. I don't know what I would have done without her help along the way and especially on the wedding day. Had an amazing experience with Lynn and all the staff today! I'm the MOH for my friends wedding and this is pretty much the first wedding we have ever been a part of/planning. This morning we were trying to figure out some things and gave Lynn a call to see if we can stop by to get a refresher and take some photos of items we were planning on using. She immediately told us we can stop by without issue! She went above and beyond, took us back to the design room, showed us the salon again, and sat down a couple hours with us to go over our plan. She didn't have to do this at all, and took time out of her day to put an ease to ours! We truly appreciated her guidance, time, and attitude today :) read more

Very beautiful venue... we came out here for a friend's wedding over the weekend. We loved the lake my friend was brought in on via a little motorboat (the lake has quite a few places for photo ops), and we wished we could've taken pics with the miniature sports car the wedding party was photographed with. The staff was helpful and pleasant; never before did we have to take a shuttle from the parking lot to the venue. And the food was decent, though the roast beef was on the tough side. While the bar didn't offer shots (to my knowledge), at least we were well taken care of. The only problem I can think of with Los Willows is the distance from the place - as it's off Old Highway 395, prepare for one heckuva drive! read more

I had my wedding at Los Willows on 2/2/23 and can easily say that it was truly the most beautiful and perfect day of my life because of Los Willows. From the moment we toured the property, we felt right at home. Liza did a great job of showing us the property and helping us envision our wedding being there. She is such a kind soul and answered every and any questions we had in the beginning. We decided to go with the Ultimate package, and it was SO worth it. We were paired with Rialee as our day of coordinator and I feel like we really got the best coordinator as Los Willows! Rialee is truly amazing. At every meeting she gave us 110% of her care and attention and made us feel so special. Our day felt like a fairytale. From the food (James at Red Tail Tastings is so kind and talented), to the venue, to the amazing DJ (shoutout to Michael from Complete Weddings!) it was the best day ever. My favorite thing was saying I do and then being lead onto a boat cruise with my new husband, Hayden. They even let our Goldendoodle, Gary, on the boat with us. I'm not even sure where to begin with this WONDERFUL venue. To say my wedding was everything I ever dreamed of would be an understatement. Julianne was incredible through the entire planning process. She was prompt with responding to all of my emails and phone calls, and always made sure things were being checked off of my to-do list on time! Day of, Nancy was our coordinator. I don't know how she made this magic happen, but she did. My husband and I can not praise her enough. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we all stayed on schedule, that there were not day-of-bride-meltdowns, and kept all our groomsman out of trouble. Nancy deserves 10 stars! All of our vendors knew exactly what to do, and when to do it. She made sure all of our decorations were placed where and how I wanted them. She kept my husband and I fed and our drinks full. So many of my guests asked who she was and if she was family because how amazing she was and how much she cared about us and our wedding. I could go on and on, but I think you get the picture. The boat captain that took us on our newlywed Cruise was so sweet and definitely made us feel comfortable. The serving staff made sure everyone had what they needed, and even kept sneaking into the bridal suite to make sure my bridesmaids all had cider/champagne until it was time to walk down the aisle. There are so many wonderful things to say about everyone and everything at Los Willows - but like I mentioned above, I think you get the picture. If you're on the fence about choosing Los Willows as your venue for your special day, DO IT! You won't be disappointed! read more

Don't get married during rainy season, they don't tel you how much of their packages aren't allowed in the rain and then on your wedding day you're in for a rude awakening. They even kind of gaslight you. My day of coordinator was awful. She sent my ring bearers down the aisle with no boxes In fact almost my entire processional was out of order. She had my bridesmaids put their stuff in the bridal suite so my $4000 pictures of me getting ready are full of junk in the background that we can't even use or share Didn't get our red car Didn't get our LOVE letters Didn't get our boat ride My guests (invariably) say they were never offered cake (It took them like 40 minutes to even take the cake back to cut it. I had to chase someone down and ask if it was ever gonna happen) And All the contract all it says is "if it rains, we've got you covered!" Ha. Paid the ultimate package price for the ultimate letdown. 2 stars because it's undeniably beautiful just don't count on them UPDATE: they responded on my anniversary (see below ) With a wonderfully passive aggressive response, that still doesn't explain why 1) my day of coordinator failed me in many ways 2) I had to chase someone down (40 minutes after I cut my cake with my husband) for them to even take it back and cut it - regardless of how it's served. 3) I was never told I couldn't get married in the meadow if it was raining UNTIL my wedding day. 4) why they waited until I posted a yelp review to offer us any future reshoots using the things included in our wedding package. I have nothing but amazing words to say about Los Willows. My soon to be sister-in-law/best friend got married here this past weekend and words cannot describe how incredible it was. Not only was their wedding drop dead gorgeous but every single staff member of Los Willows was exceptional. My sister-in-law and her husband had to move their wedding from Paradise Falls to Los Willows. They were taken in with nothing but love from the Los Willows team. With COVID, we were all unsure if their wedding would take place, but they pushed through and waited out San Diego's closures and it was absolutely worth it!!!! Their wedding was perfect and the Los Willows team made that happen! Tamra was a fantastic wedding planner!!! Lynne, Victoria and Tamra made sure everything was breathtaking and we could not have asked for a better team to have during their wedding!! My fiancé and I had booked Los Willows for our wedding (in 2021) last year, after this past weekend, I can honestly say I am even more excited to get married at this venue next year as I know the team they have makes sure everything is perfect in every single way!!!!! We will be the 3rd couple in our family to get married at Los Willows and I couldn't imagine having our wedding at any other venue!!!! They are amazing!!!!!!!!! My daughter's wedding was held at Los Willows last weekend. It is a BEAUTIFUL venue. First the good: This is an incredibly beautiful venue. You won't find a prettier place to hold a wedding. The meadow where the ceremony is held is stunning. It was a very warm day, but it is shaded by huge trees so it was very comfortable for everyone. There is a bridal salon that you can rent for the wedding party to get their hair and makeup done. It has a sitting room, a salon room, a dressing room, and a kitchen with a full refrigerator so you can bring in sandwiches, fruit, sodas, etc., and keep everything cool. The champagne welcome - highlighted by the ring-for-champagne wall - was a hit with everyone. The reception was held in the newly remodeled pavilion. The dinner was amazing. Our guests raved about the food, and I agree that it was the best wedding food I've ever had. We ordered the wedding salad, a pasta primavera dish, chicken piccata, spice-rubbed tri tip, fresh vegetables, and different types of rolls/bread. All of it was absolutely delicious. Things that could have been better: The venue only provides one bartender. We had 160 guests. Having only one bartender was not nearly enough. I have to say this was very disappointing because had we known this, we would have happily paid for a second bartender. Anyone who puts on events should know that one bartender for this many people is not sufficient. The wine bar they offer during dinner is only open for about 30 minutes. Why not keep it open when there was such a long line for the regular bar? Very disappointing. Total fail. The DJ that comes with the venue was mediocre at best. We provided him a very detailed playlist for the evening and he pretty much ignored it. The *must play* songs did not get played. Random songs did. At one point there were two people on the dance floor and he didn't change the song. Isn't that DJ'ing 101? Keep the party dancing. Overall, it was a wonderful day and a great time was had by all. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a magical wedding experience with the two caveats listed above. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. read more
