From the moment my then-fiancée-now-wife Michelle and I first toured Los Willows, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. But on top of the absolutely gorgeous venue, what made our entire wedding experience truly over-the-top extraordinary was our coordinator Heather. THE VENUE: Not exaggerating when I say we were obsessive about picking a venue; by the time we toured Los Willows, we had toured at over 30 venues and literally kept Word documents and Excel spreadsheets documenting every single experience. By the time we got to LW, we were more or less resigned to the thought that every venue would have some things that we liked, and many things that we had to compromise on. And then we toured Los Willows. It was the only venue we went to where we loved every single thing about it. The grounds are breathtaking, every corner is photo-worthy, and the atmosphere feels like something out of a dream. The wedding aspect wasn't an afterthought like some venues that were normally something else (bar, golf course, restaurant) and did weddings as an afterthought to cash in on wedding income, but an entire dedicated estate for the purposes of our (and maybe your!) wedding. Other places we've seen with the whole estate dedicated to weddings did stuff like split the property into 2 or sometimes even 3 sections to run 2-3 simultaneous weddings. They felt impersonal, like the property was just a money-generating machine. But with Los Willows, you get the ENTIRE (HUGE) property to yourselves, dedicated to making your wedding the best that it could be. Los Willows feels like a dream land, overflowingly packed with infinite small details to make you and your partner and your family and friends ooh and ahh. A cute red roadster for the coolest entrance ever, the drooping lights hanging from the willow trees, two dedicated getting-ready HOUSES (not a room; HOUSES, on-property) for the bride and groom and the wedding party to hang out in, a lake with ducks and turtles and a boat. There was something for everyone: us, our families, our wedding party and all of our guests. The property was pristine and glorious and something out of a fairytale. THE COORDINATOR: Heather wasn't just good at her job, she was something of a miracle worker. Our wedding day was the best day of my life, but also one of the most stressful. But it seemed like every time I was about to die from the stress, Heather appeared, like a magical wedding fairy. She kept everything in line, always having the perfect solution, the right words, and the calm confidence, even when many uncontrollable elements of the day caused numerous delays and setbacks. She juggled every curveball with grace, speed, and a smile. She handled my anxiety and obsessiveness to make sure everything was perfect for my bride, and was always able to calm me down and make things happen. She managed the schedule, organized with the vendors, and handled all the behind-the-scenes issues before I even knew they existed. I don't know how she did it all, but I do know I could not have imagined our wedding without her there. Heather is the reason we were able to actually enjoy our day rather than me crashing out in a corner somewhere (there were infinitely many beautiful corners at the venue, perfect for taking pictures or having minor crash-outs). If you're considering Los Willows, just know that you're not only getting one of the most stunning wedding locations imaginable; you're also getting the gift of all the staff's expertise and organization and heart. All of the stuff had this passion for throwing amazing weddings that you can just feel from the enthusiasm they bring to your day and your planning. Everyone from Liza who helped process changes to Lynn the director, to Alberto the setup manager, and of course Heather. They all worked together to make our wedding unforgettable in every way, and we will be forever grateful.

This past Monday was the best day of my life--I married my best friend of 11 years, my soulmate, at the most perfect venue: Los Willows. This venue is truly what dreams are made of--a private Southern California oasis with an enchanting meadow, a romantic newlywed boat ride across a serene lake with a champagne toast, and a breathtaking reception space complete with a stunning chandelier ceiling. The photos don't do it justice, but what truly makes Los Willows special is the incredible team behind it. From the moment I had my first conversation with our wedding coordinator, Lisa Moore, I knew we were in the best hands. Lisa isn't just efficient--she's passionate. On our big day, she was always five steps ahead, ensuring everything was seamless and stress-free. She provided thoughtful amenities, invaluable advice, and, most importantly, a true sense of care. Lisa wasn't just a coordinator--she became family. She and her team treated us like royalty, making every moment feel effortless and magical. The entire experience is something I will cherish forever, and there truly aren't enough words to express my gratitude to Lisa and the Los Willows team for making my fairytale wedding a reality. If you or someone you know is planning a wedding, do yourself a favor and check out Los Willows--but not without asking for Lisa. She is the real magic.

Los Willows was an absolute dream! Our wedding was beyond amazing and people have not stop raving about how beautiful and magical the whole day was . We are beyond thrilled with how everything turned out , the staff at Los Willows were great to work with! Jennifer was amazing to work with , from our initial meeting to the wedding day she was helpful , attentive and easy to work with. She really understood our vision and really helped make it into reality ! Jennifer went above and beyond with additional decor and was always quick to respond to questions we had. Such a gorgeous venue, we loved how private it felt the day of. I'm so glad we found this venue. Jennifer was our day of coordinator and she was so amazing to work with. Everything went so smoothly and she made our vision come to life. The second we met with her 30 days out I felt so relieved and knew we were in good hands! We loved how everything turned out, and our guest had an amazing time! I didn't get the bartenders name, but she was also amazing, made our signature drinks perfectly!

We've been part of the Los Willows family since 2018. My wife and I initially booked at their sister site Paradise Falls; and our original date was set for April 11, 2020. We've had such a wonderful experience with everyone who had helped us. The most amazing person was Lynne. She truly made us feel like family with every warm greeting. I'm so happy that she was the one that broke the news to us about Paradise Falls. She invited us to continue on with Los Willows. We trust Lynne entirely so we said yes to booking Los Willows without even checking it out. I'm glad we did because we loved our wedding at Los Willows! Lynne is the reason why we still wanted to have our wedding. She's so kind and loving. She checked in on us and was there for us every step of the way. She wanted to ensure that our wedding was as stress-free as possible! The big day was great! Los Willows has so many wedding items that are included or available for upgrades. They even provide a day of coordinator. I think that it would make the day even smoother to have the venue coordinator and your own personal coordinator. We had some extra features that didn't make it out on the big day, but no use in sweating the small details. Our favorite thing about the venue is that it's dog-friendly! Our pups were able to be at our wedding too. The venue itself is gorgeous! There are also many activities to keep the guests engaged. One thing I cannot stress enough is to GET THE EXTRA HOUR. My wife nd I wish we did because the night felt like it ended so soon, and we wanted it to last longer. Thank you to everyone at Los Willows - especially Lynne!

This venue is beautiful and your guests will love it. The ceremony space is magical, the boat ride is fun and unique, the cocktail hour space can be fun and relaxed with games, and the reception space gives you the indoor and outdoor feel with the clear garage doors. Additionally, it is a private event center so no random people will be walking around or trying to crash your wedding. We chose this venue for all of those reasons. We also chose this venue because it included a wedding planner, wedding coordinator, caterer, bar/alcohol, DJ, and photography company for 2 hours. Our wedding in April 2024 was beautiful, the food was good, and our guests raved about it. However, I won't say that the process of working with this venue was smooth sailing. First, when we did the initial tour, Liza Isacsson advised us that it would be no problem to get Modelo or 805 beer at the bar. We came to find out at the planning meeting that they only provide you with 3 craft beers (5 gallon kegs each) from their list of 13 beers. And they only let you select 1 of those beers and they select the other 2. Had we have known that from the beginning, we never would have picked this venue because food and alcohol was very important to us. Thankfully, we spoke to our planner, Tamra, and she spoke to the director, Lynne, and she approved for us to select all 3 beers due to the misleading information we were given. I also want to point out that their craft beer menu says that you can pay a $300 fee to bring in your own keg (max number of 2) which is absolutely outrageous because a 5.5 or 7.75 gallon keg itself doesn't even costs that much. We chose the elegant package which gave our guests free beer and wine from 4:30pm to 8:30pm. We added an extra hour to our wedding (started at 4pm) for the additional cost and I highly recommend you do that if you have a wedding here because it still did not seem like enough time. Additionally, if you want a special juice or cocktail you have to provide the recipe to the venue to make or have a licensed caterer/company bring it in. If the venue makes your special drink or cocktail, they will not allow you to try it first. Therefore, we decided not to do the speciality juice we wanted for a possible signature drink. The director, Lynne, does make multiple sangrias and if you do the beer/wine package or higher package they will include the sangria (one red and one white) in those packages. Once again they will not allow you to try the Sangria prior to your selections. I was told this is because they make a large batch at one time and they cannot make a small batch, which we understood. Since it was included in our package, we chose the pear and blackberry sangria and they were very good. Our wedding planner Tamra was great. In the beginning of February 2024, I wanted to be able to meet with the wedding coordinator because I really needed to see the items they offered again to visualize the decorations. However, I was told I wouldn't be introduced to them until 60 days out and the final meeting takes place about 30 days before the wedding. This is what happened and our wedding coordinator was Brianna. I do not feel like 30 days was enough time to prepare for all the decisions I needed to make in that last month. Even on the wedding checklist Los Willows has online, it says you will meet with your coordinator 2-3 months before the wedding. I also asked if I could just go to the venue to look at the space again and the items they include (because I needed to know what other items I needed to purchase) and I was told that I could go to the venue to look around but I wouldn't be given access to the design studio. Additionally once we met with Brianna in March, she didn't get the table layout to me until April 7. I was ordering a special seating chart and it barely got to us in time for our wedding due to that delay. I was told multiple times by Brianna that she had multiple weddings each week and it made me feel like she didn't have time for our wedding. Ultimately, the last month felt very chaotic and I wish they had allowed us to meet with Brianna earlier because there were a lot of things I couldn't make decisions on until I got answers from her. Additionally, I am a very visual person and I don't go to a lot of weddings so there were a lot of things that I needed explanation on or options to consider. See photos for the rest of my review

This venue was absolutely amazing and breathtaking! The staff was always very polite, welcoming and very quick at responding back to emails/messages. I had my wedding here earlier this month (January 2023) and although it stormed on our wedding day, they made sure everything went smoothly indoors. I also liked how they had a list of recommended vendors which made the process easier. Our wedding planner/coordinator was Rialee and she did such an amazing job! She was very attentive and patient with us through out the whole planning process. We wouldn't have been able to do our wedding without her generous help! Overall I would highly recommend this wedding venue!

"This is the most beautiful wedding I've ever been to" I heard MULTIPLE times on my wedding day. The ceremony spot in the meadow is RIDICULOUSLY gorgeous. There's all different lights hanging from the trees, a water fall in the distance and a huge arch. Everything is so green and pretty. The reception area as well is indoor but one side is open so it's never too hot and stuffy. They have loads of decor and options to choose for to make your wedding perfect. Everyone I worked with was great, but mainly Tamra! She helped me through the process and i never felt like she was annoyed at me when I changed my mind 100 times! She was also my day of coordinator and she was so calming to have around. It's a nerve wracking day and she helped so much. You really are the best!

This was our first time staying at Pala Mesa Golf Resort, and overall it was a pleasant experience…read more The room was very beautiful, extremely clean, and the king-size bed was large and comfortable. Check-in was easy, and the staff was very nice and welcoming. There were a couple of minor issues that affected our stay. The sliding glass door is a bit dated and had a gap that allowed cold air and outside noise into the room. It felt like sleeping with a window open, and my face and ears became noticeably cold. I was thankful I had packed a thermal and jogging suit, which helped keep me warm. I was eventually able to find a temporary solution by placing a pillow against the door and pushing the desk forward to help block the draft. Parking was also a bit challenging on the second night. The first night went perfectly, as the front desk gave clear directions and we were able to park at Building F1 by the stairs. After returning from a concert around 1:00 a.m. the second night, parking F1 was full, and I had to park farther away between Buildings F3 and F4. Walking back late at night in the cold felt uncomfortable and scary. I did mention the sliding glass door issue to the front desk, but there were no other king-size suites available. Despite these small challenges, the room itself was lovely and the staff was friendly and helpful.

We parked in the dirt lot just beyond the entrance and followed the path to an upper grassy area that was set up for the wedding. There was an arch for the bride and groom to stand beneath with spectacular mountain views behind them. After the ceremony we were directed up the hill, then down a flight of concrete stairs to a lower yard. There was an in-ground swimming pool with an attached hot tub. The pool was old enough that it had a diving board. The water in the pool was blue, but the hot tub was rust colored. It looked as though that pool hadn't been used in quite some time and needed some TLC. Just beyond the pool was a lawn where the cocktail hour was held for guests as the wedding party was having photos taken. No chairs, just a few tables to stand at and set your drink down. They also provided an archway with beautiful views behind it for photo-ops. When the cocktail hour ended, we were led down yet another dirt path to a very large grassy area where the reception was held. (It was where the bathrooms were too). Plenty of room for tables and chairs. On one end was a large dancefloor. Strings of patio lights provided subtle lighting and the views were fantastic. The pathways, staircase and grass areas were, at times, a bit precarious, especially for those wearing heels. The road to the venue is a couple of miles of two-lane, winding curves off of highway 76. Cel service is sketchy - People with Verizon as their carrier seemed to have pretty good service. If you plan to Uber/Lyft out, book in advance. If you are looking for an outdoor venue for your wedding, I would reccommend that you consider Secluded Garden Estates. Pala Casino Spa Resort is a short three-mile drive and a convenient place for guests to stay.

That's where this fantastic venue shines! My partner in art for over 15 years and I were wisecracking the entire way there. He had done the engagement pictures for the young couple but I was going in blind although some pictures on Yelp were useful for the general setting. Upon arrival we found the wedding planner, Josh, to be upbeat and positive. By the end of the evening his organization skills left me full of appreciation- weddings and potentially like handling unstable explosives but as near as I could tell the only delay wasn't his fault. Two bungalows provide space for the groom and groomsmen and (larger of course) a nice dressing room for brides to be. This particular entourage was 6-7 on each side. Long story short, the rolling hill the grounds lie upon create a surprisingly fantastic palette for photographs and creativity. Some parts are forested with wonderful creeping vines or even an antique tractor as props. The wedding spot has a commanding view of the mountains, the path down leads alternately to the tent for the reception, or a slight divergence over to a dedicated cocktail and appetizer green with gamez to entertain old and young alike. The whole operation left me hoping to land more gigs here in the future. I found my usual penchant for spontaneous composition given light and landscape led to a pleasant day making a special occasion memorable for another happy couple.

I would not recommend working with this company. The thing that really did it for me was their unfair billing practices. They collected a deposit from me for over $3,000, but did not disclose to me that it was non refundable. After a month of working with them and minimal progress being made, I tried to talk to calmly and politely talk with them. Summer was exceptionally rude and confrontational and told me that I don't have to work with them if I don't want to, but they would not be refunding the deposit. They first claimed that the deposit was to secure the date only, but after they received the deposit, they claimed it was to be used towards their own in-house exorbitantly priced rentals. Their ever changing terms and lackadaisical spirit, coupled with Summer's corrosive behavior and vacuous promises made them very unpleasant to work with. This is not how one should run a business. Avoid!

Morgan kindly met us at our venue and we collectively came up with a design and plan. They put together a quote, and collected a deposit to the tune of a few thousand dollars. We then found out that the rental prices were exorbitantly high and they were constantly changing things. The first time they came to our venue, they charged a $65 one-time fee, but then somehow, they added four of these $65 visits even though we didn't ask for that. We found nicer tables for 40% cheaper, better linens for over 100% cheaper, etc. Furthermore, the initial itemized quote that they sent to us had a huge math/addition error to the tune of almost $1,000. This isn't acceptable. We brought all of this up, and this is where summer got involved and things began to go south. They informed us that they do not collaborate with other rental companies and that we MUST use their ridiculously priced rentals. We initially hired these people as planners, we never agreed to exclusively use them for rentals. We had a discussion with summer regarding this, and she was extremely disrespectful and flat out rude. She informed us that they will not be offering a refund, and we could walk away from our deposit and find someone else. The issue is that they did NOT disclose that this was their refund policy and they did not get a contract signed. Communicating back and forth with summer has been excruciatingly painful and exhausting and a total waste of time. We brought on planners for convenience and to streamline our workflow. They are trying to steal from us and engage in unethical business practices and continue to insist that they are entitled to our deposit. I don't recommend anyone do business with them if you want to minimize headache. We went from wanting to make our lives easy and convenient to now having the added burden of dealing with a lawsuit.
