We got married at Tivoli Italian Villa in June 2023 and our experience was wonderful. It's certainly not cheap to have a big beautiful wedding in Southern California but I thought the venue (with its included coordination, food, and rentals) was a good value for the experience we had. Jenna was the first coordinator we worked with. She was so sweet and very responsive over email. During an early planning session, she helped focus my husband's and my gleeful energy as we sipped champagne and looked at table settings. Our original planner had an emergency and Cassandra stepped in and took amazing care of us. She was equally responsive- stepping in to answer every little last minute question I had. I was able to trust her with design details- scattering vases and extra flowers, draping gauze runners. I felt that I could let go and let her supervise all of that and I did not have to think about it on the day. Cassandra managed the set-up of the "At the Tone" voicemail phone and even left us wonderful opening and closing messages Our assistant coordinator was so warm and wonderful. She made sure I had what I needed at every step, whether it was hydration while getting ready, a kind word while waiting to walk down the aisle, a drink in my hand at cocktail hour, or stepping in to help bustle me quickly when I got sick of carrying around my train. At the end of the day, we felt so cared for and supported by the team. All their hard work made the event go so smoothly and they made us feel like stars Venue: STUNNING. So photogenic. No bad angles. Getting married at Tivoli meant I knew my event was going to be gorgeous and romantic, no matter how much I saved or splurged on florals and decor. Food: It's "banquet" food, so while nothing was the greatest dish I have ever eaten, it was all fresh and there were lots of tasty dishes. Our guests were happy and well fed. The bartenders were great. They were able to accommodate our signature cocktails and helped keep the drinks flowing.

She worked well with the vendors we hired. She was on top of every detail that needed to be taken care of. The day of the event she was ready to go with an amazing group of students to help pull off our 180 person party. It was a pleasure working with her. She was the best. The facility was great too. Great lighting, and space. Bathrooms were always cleaned and trash picked up. Parking attendants were friendly and helpful. The views are amazing. Wonderful facility to have future events at.

I have worked with them on various on campus events as a client as well as attended their events as a guest they have planned. The ECS team of event planners are always friendly, helpful and can get even get creative when I am putting an event together. They have huge parking lots, lots of classrooms, and a few larger rooms for banquet style set-ups. They also have a modern, eco-friendly venue called the McMahan House with three "breakout" rooms in addition to the Great Room. The entire facility can comfortably host up to 120 people. While it sits "on campus", it is nestled on a small hill overlooking the University track with a view towards the main campus. They use a variety of outside local food vendors which can assist with different themes, dietary needs and requests. My favorite is Cafe Catering, as they always have great food at a reasonable price. And from sandwiches to pasta bars to mac and cheese, they always seem to do it right. There can be some paperwork that you need to get through for your event, but I am guessing that is to be expected when events are handled in a professional manner. A hidden gem to use for your meetings or events in North County.

She does baby showers, and other events, too! This summer, my best friend's co-ed baby shower was put together by Hannah, and it was beautiful! Dealing with a hormonal soon-to-be mom isn't easy, and I have to say that Hannah definitely made my friend and her family feel so comfortable and stress-free throughout the entire process of planning and execution. Hannah went so far above and beyond for my friend, and for that, we are all thankful! By request, Hannah was present the day of, and she made sure everything went seamlessly. My friend wanted her baby shower to have a country vibe, and the location itself was just that! It was in a beautiful park-like setting that had the cutest garden with a farm of baby goats in the background. I just melt when I think back to it! The centerpieces on the tables were floral arrangements that were so beautiful and had some of the most fragrant roses I've ever smelled. Hannah's attention to detail is second to none. The photo area had balloons that spelled out "OH BABY" and they were attached to rustic watering cans that were filled with flowers that matched the centerpiece arrangements, and the refreshment area had drinks in matching rustic buckets and troughs. As for food, my friend decided to have a food and desert truck present, and Hannah coordinated their arrival and menu options. There were several games set up to keep the guests entertained, as well. There's so much more that I could add about the baby shower, but I'll just say that it was so great and such an amazing experience that I hired her to help me with the annual Christmas party I host in my home. Let me start by saying that I didn't expect for her to take on such a big task of helping me with a holiday, when I know she probably had her own holiday events going on, but she did! I gave her an idea of what I was looking to do, and she made it happen! She even took care of invitations for me! I don't have ample seating, so she made sure that we got enough tables in to accommodate the large number of guests that were attending. I mentioned to her that I absolutely loved the centerpieces from my friend's baby shower, and I was so excited when she told me that she'd make sure I would get centerpieces just as beautiful, and they were. Dark roses, green pines, burgundy lilies, and some smaller green and white flowers adorned the tables along with scattered ornaments. The place cards were the guests' names in script, die-cut from wood that the guests could take with them to use as home decor or a tree ornament. I thought it was such a great idea. Being that I was still behind on decorating for the holiday, she made sure that the house had fresh decorations. Garland adored the stair balusters and railing, a fresh wreath hung on the door, and giant red bows hung from each lantern at the garage. Also can't forget the mistletoe hanging from an archway inside! The house smelled like a winter cabin and felt like one, too! The only thing I told Hannah that I absolutely wanted was a Christmas ham, bundt cakes, and Christmas cookies. If it wasn't for her, that's probably all I would have had, but she made sure that I had full appetizer, dinner, and dessert options for the guests. I wish I could give a better visual of both events, but I'm one of those people who pays no mind to the phone when I'm with others. One day, I'll get better at remembering to take at least one photo for my reviews. All in all, as a guest to a Red Letter Event and as a client of Hannah's, I've had wonderful experiences. I will most certainly be using her services in the future.

I talked to Hannah at Red Letter Events and she immediately understood what it would take to create an aviation themed event... She listened, understood my vision and she nailed it. I would highly recommend Hannah and Red Letter Events to anyone regardless of the theme of your event, large or small. Just give Hannah some ideas and let her run with it. Pictures that are posted don't even do it justice. They have beautiful flower features (including variety of flowers, tropical flowers and trees, upkept planetary), BEAUTIFUL water features like a little steam under this dramatic gorgeous bridge, this INSANE waterwall , and this little water fall book in the back corner perfect for photos and private moments before you big event. Comes with chairs and tables and the staff that help set it up and take down. They have some additional things you can do as well like have the arch or lawn games, but what is the best part of it all is that you can really make you event what you want it to be. Our wedding came out PERFECT and there wasn't one guest that didn't RAVE about how beautiful the venue was, ceremony was, the flow and layout of the venue, the features, and more. Everything is in one place, and the flow is so easy to navigate yet you have the ability to make different options of choices. Truly a make it your own! Thank you especially to Hanna, Becca, and John for making the day absolutely PERFECT and making us really feel like every decision we made was ours. I wish I could be at the venue every single day.
