The oak tree immediately caught our attention, and every detail we saw after that drew us in more and more. Jennifer and Ron have done an amazing job at keeping their home and venue so well kept! Their story of how they began this venue business with their own daughter's wedding is so touching, and it makes sense why they continue to invite others into their home to host such beautiful events filled with love. They actually took part in making sure everything went accordingly on our special day, and we are so glad to have met them! I thought the venue couldn't be more beautiful the day we first visited, but when the flowers bloom and the grass becomes greener... WOW! Absolutely breathtaking!!! They have done a wonderful job with their upkeep. Kendra was our lead tour guide and ended up being our wedding day coordinator, and she absolutely played a vital role in how perfect our planning journey and wedding day went. I cannot emphasize enough how well she took care of us and our bridal party - I don't think I'll ever feel the same royal treatment anywhere, anytime else for the rest of my life! She was so patient and heard us out on every question/concern, and yet so very succinct so that when time came to make a decision, we were all on top of things. She has such a sweet personality as well, you can't help but smile whenever you're working with her! The site separations make it a fluid journey for your guests, as you begin at the lowest area with the ceremony and welcome pergola, then move up to cocktail hour where the bathrooms are conveniently located centrally, and then finally the reception area where beautiful market lights are hung. I honestly fell in love with the surrounding trees and market lights - it looks so magical at nighttime! The bridal and grooms suite are spacious and had the right amount of space for us to get ready in. We had 5 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen, and easily fit with all of our belongings. We even held a Chinese Tea Ceremony in the front of the bridal suite, no problems at all! Some other venues had a large bridal suite and a small sad room for the Groom, but that's not the case here! They had a pool table and foosball table to enjoy! Both suites also have fridges in case you have drinks you wanted to bring! With all that being said, the windy road to Circle Oak Ranch was still a worrisome thought in our minds, but with their recommendation of a Shuttle vendor, that was all resolved! All of our guests were able to utilize the shuttle pretty effortlessly, and no one had to worry about driving back home in the dark. All of their vendor recommendations were amazing - would highly suggest picking from their list because the ones we did were perfect for us! We looked low and high for places that fit our vibe, budget, and style. Then we found this venue. Winter White Barn is a beautiful venue filled with tons of charm. They have a beautiful indoor barn area, outdoor reception area, and a beautiful ceremony area - all separate! In addition, Kelly, the owner of WWB is an absolute angel. She has been nothing short of amazing. When COVID hit, she helped to accommodate our new wedding dates without hesitation. This venue truly feels like a dream for photographers and for couples looking for a unique, beautiful setting. The layout is so cool! A stunning house sits at the top of the hill, and the drive up is lined with orange trees, which immediately creates a magical experience. Just below, there's a pond with a gazebo, and only a few steps away you'll find the ceremony site. It's already gorgeous on its own, but it becomes even more breathtaking with added decor. The reception area, with its canopy of sparkling string lights, feels warm and romantic without needing much enhancement. My couple started their day with getting-ready photos in the bridal and groom suites, which are full of character. There are so many thoughtful details and props from vintage trays to elegant silver-framed mirrors, that make for creative images. We also used the spacious, beautifully lit living room for portraits. The first look and bridal party photos took place just outside the house, which provided a private and peaceful setting since guests gather in a separate area for the ceremony and reception. After the ceremony, we explored the gazebo and pond for more portraits. One of the most unforgettable moments was sunset!!! My jaw was on the floor! The sky turned the most incredible shade of pink, with mountains surrounding the venue and the string lights beginning to glow. It was absolutely breathtaking, and I couldn't stop taking photos. As the evening continued, the dance floor area became the perfect backdrop for nighttime shots. What I love most is that the reception space is already so stunning that it doesn't require much decor, though decor can elevate it even further!! I'm also a big fan of Kelsey and Peter's Instagram! On the wedding day, the coordinator was nowhere to be found--it was like she disappeared after the ceremony. There was no signage anywhere in the venue, and the restrooms were not clearly marked. There were restrooms in the winery space, but they were an incredibly long walk for guests. There were also a couple of restrooms in the getting-ready area, but they were labeled "Staff," which made the situation even more confusing. The venue's layout was also awkward. Couches were randomly scattered throughout the space, so guests ended up standing in separate groups during cocktail hour instead of naturally gathering together. The food was also a major disappointment. It was served cold, and most of it was dry. It honestly felt like a low-budget Souplantation. Overall, I do not recommend Bel Vino Winery for weddings. Save your money and book somewhere else.
