Once it got closer to our wedding day we got a new coordinator named Tessa and she basically saved my sanity because from that moment on I had no issues and felt so prioritized. Be patient with them in the beginning because you're one of many brides they speak to on a daily basis. Once you're wedding day is actually there, it will be worth every single penny. The food was amazing, the DJ is so good and attentive, our day of coordinator Hayley was also really nice and Victoria made sure to ask me if I needed anything she was there to make it happen. I can't stress enough how incredibly beautiful our wedding was and every single guest told us the pictures of the venue we sent did not do it justice. Also, get the horse carriage it's such a beautiful moment I shared with my dad then with my husband. We saw Tessa the next day when I went to pick up some things we left behind and she asked where we were going for our honeymoon and literally within the hour of us leaving she emailed us so many great ideas and recommendations. Lake Oak Meadows is lucky to have someone like her that is so kind, reassuring, goes above and beyond expectations, and genuinely you can tell she loves what she does. Although it is a pretty venue, the communication from their staffing is horrible!!! They don't return phone calls or emails after they get your booking. My husband and I wanted to get involved prior to our son's booking, but our son is 27 yrs old. We thought he's old enough to handle doing business with this venue. Wrong! This venue knows how to up-sale about their property. They know that young brides and grooms are emotional. They capture on that emotion and tells you anything to get the booking. Lisa, the manager couldn't careless after she received the deposit and final payments. I've called and left numerous messages multiple times with the venue staffers that I needed to speak to Lisa. Not once did she ever returned my phone calls. On the day of the wedding, as the mother of the groom, I was served pizza!!! Our son asked about a special menu for vegetarians, pescatarians and vegans. During the sales pitch, their salesperson told our son and his bride that there wasn't any issues making special meals for those guests, me being one of them. Can you believe the nerve of this venue served me pizza on the day of the wedding??? Before the wedding, our son and his bride did the food testing. They were told no one else could come to do the food tasting. Mind you, we were the ones that paid for this venue. Our daughter in law forwarded me an email from the venue, by their chef, that no one else could come to the food tasting. Anyhow, not only myself was given pizza, our other 2 guests were also served pizza. Mind you, there were only 3 guests total that had a special dietary restriction. I was so embarrassed and horrified. I had to tell my aunt and the bride's grandmother weren't notified ahead that the venue was serving individual pizzas to dietary guests. The venue could at least offered some sort of vegetables or couscous, but nope, nothing!!!!! I can give you a very long list, but I'll only give 3. Number 1: Food wasn't cracked up to be. Even their regular menu like the basic of chicken and red meat, was real bad. Number 2: We paid for a Photo Booth thru the venue. The photo booth folks never showed up. Although the venue refunded the money, but all was lost of having our guests take pictures for memories are long gone. Luckily we paid for good photographers (like 4 photographers+videographers). They were able to capture some moments of our families and guests. Number 3: We had wedding crashers! The venue told our son they will have 3 security guards on the wedding dat. We saw none, not only 1 insight. These wedding crashers had the gall to eat cakes, ordered alcohol at the bar and joined our guests on the dance floor!!! Mind you we paid for a premium package which included open bars. Our daughter in law contacted the venue to let them know about all these issues, they didn't offered any compensation or some sort of refunds accept for the photo booth that never showed up. We have 2 other children. We'll never use this venue going forward. We told all of our friends about this venue. A lot of them were at the wedding, so they too know not to book this venue for their own children's weddings. This venue isn't worth mentioning their names. Lake Oak Meadows is pretty but not worth your money to book. There's plenty of beautiful venues around. So please, please ask questions, do comparison before booking. Don't let them tell you that they've a special going on and if you don't book right then and there that you'll loose the deal. It's not worth your money!

The shuttle driver Emerson made great conversation and always had a smile on his face. so that was a great start to the day. We were greeted by more workers with champagne and it was beautiful. everything seemed to start on time. The food was amazing at cocktail hour. The bartender hannah was a true gem! i just wanted to take her home with me, her drinks were delicious and she was so quick!! i've never seen such efficient service as a bartender working solo with this many guests! Dinner was amazing and the dj noah really got the party going! i have no complaints only compliments for the later half of the evening. my only comment would be to tell the manager to get odd his phone lol he seemed to be confused walking around on his phone. i asked one of the servers if he worked here and they replied that he is there boss. i noticed he didnt do much other than walk on his phone around the property! i cannot wait to attend another los willows wedding in the future and i hope i can recommend and influence another bride to book here!

Honestly we weren't expecting anything crazy, but even with that we were super bummed with the experience. The one star is for how cute the place and setup are. It has a lot of potential, and maybe something was just going on this particular day that made the experience so awful. But even if that was the case I wish they would have explained. Anyway, the tea party started at 11 am and they did not specify how long it was supposed to be or the end time. We get there on time and sit down, enjoy the adorable set up and wait to be served. It took about 20-30 for us to be served our tea and lemonade. After that we are waiting for our finger foods (which on the advertisement they stated it would be sweet and savory). They did not bring our bites until 12:30! Meaning it took an hour and a half for them to bring a small tray of croissants, cupcakes and cookies! I was so confused as to why it took so long to serve.. I mean clearly almost everything was premade besides the little basic finger sandwiches (and it was taking a long time for everyone, because we were listening to all the little girls around us complaining of how hungry they were). So finally we get ours and instead of getting ham & cheese sandwiches like everyone around us, they gave us chicken salad sandwiches which the kids did not want at all. I ate them because at this point I am super hungry and getting a headache because i'm also super pregnant. We ask the lady if they have anything else and she said she can make them grilled cheese sandwiches. The main problem was that for the amount of tickets they sold/tables they had.. they were understaffed. There was just one adult (who i'm assuming was the owner) and two kids helping her (i'm guessing her kids). I loved that the kids were serving the tables but it literally took an hour and a half for us to get a super basic tray of snacks and they only came twice to fill our tea. On top of all that, what bothered me the most was there were moms waiting in the waiting room for a solid hour waiting to be seated! Their daughters all dolled up for a cute day with their moms and literally waiting an hour to be seated for something that was supposed to start at 11 am. A lot of the moms were disappointed but what can they say? They don't want to ruin the experience for their daughters. No joke if this was my business i would 100% refund all the moms there. I was so bummed I ended up leaving with a headache that lasted all day. I am just tired of businesses taking peoples money and not delivering.

They have options to include many things in their package, so you can really get an all-inclusive day. The bridal Suite was extremely pretty and bright. It had a full bathroom, and chairs and mirrors for getting ready. The Grooms Suite was awesome nice, and had a foosball table. After, we stopped and had a glass of wine under pretty patio area. The wine we tried was very good, and The View just added to the experience. We didn't have much time here, so hope to go back to explore more.

I was desperately trying to find a place that had the same date as my save the dates. Then came Truffle Pig. This venue, the staff...everything was a Godsend. If it weren't for them, my already incredibly hard wedding season would have been ruined. I came to Amanda after touring two venues that same day, distressed, covered in dirt, and red in the face from crying. I was met with the warmest embrace & kindest hearts. Truly, Amanda saved my wedding. She (and the rest of the amazing team of course!!) listened to every question, all 1 million of them. She never made me feel like a burden or annoying for asking a million questions and made me EXCITED for my wedding again!! From there, we planned the wedding in three months - something I believe can only be done by people who truly care about the bride above all else. The vision that I had for this wedding was incomparable to the wedding that Amanda & the team put together. My breath was taken away when I stepped into my reception space...so much more beautiful than I could ever imagine. Amanda made sure I was at peace all day. There was a major problem (and the biggest part of my vision) and I had ZERO idea about it because Amanda protected my peace above all else.
