I have nothing but amazing words to say about Los Willows. My soon to be sister-in-law/best friend got married here this past weekend and words cannot describe how incredible it was. Not only was their wedding drop dead gorgeous but every single staff member of Los Willows was exceptional. My sister-in-law and her husband had to move their wedding from Paradise Falls to Los Willows. They were taken in with nothing but love from the Los Willows team. With COVID, we were all unsure if their wedding would take place, but they pushed through and waited out San Diego's closures and it was absolutely worth it!!!! Their wedding was perfect and the Los Willows team made that happen! Tamra was a fantastic wedding planner!!! Lynne, Victoria and Tamra made sure everything was breathtaking and we could not have asked for a better team to have during their wedding!! My fiancé and I had booked Los Willows for our wedding (in 2021) last year, after this past weekend, I can honestly say I am even more excited to get married at this venue next year as I know the team they have makes sure everything is perfect in every single way!!!!! We will be the 3rd couple in our family to get married at Los Willows and I couldn't imagine having our wedding at any other venue!!!! They are amazing!!!!!!!!! Thank you to everyone at Los Willows for being incredible! read more

My daughter's wedding was held at Los Willows last weekend. It is a BEAUTIFUL venue. First the good: This is an incredibly beautiful venue. You won't find a prettier place to hold a wedding. The meadow where the ceremony is held is stunning. It was a very warm day, but it is shaded by huge trees so it was very comfortable for everyone. There is a bridal salon that you can rent for the wedding party to get their hair and makeup done. It has a sitting room, a salon room, a dressing room, and a kitchen with a full refrigerator so you can bring in sandwiches, fruit, sodas, etc., and keep everything cool. The champagne welcome - highlighted by the ring-for-champagne wall - was a hit with everyone. The reception was held in the newly remodeled pavilion. The dinner was amazing. Our guests raved about the food, and I agree that it was the best wedding food I've ever had. We ordered the wedding salad, a pasta primavera dish, chicken piccata, spice-rubbed tri tip, fresh vegetables, and different types of rolls/bread. All of it was absolutely delicious. Things that could have been better: The venue only provides one bartender. We had 160 guests. Having only one bartender was not nearly enough. I have to say this was very disappointing because had we known this, we would have happily paid for a second bartender. Anyone who puts on events should know that one bartender for this many people is not sufficient. The wine bar they offer during dinner is only open for about 30 minutes. Why not keep it open when there was such a long line for the regular bar? Very disappointing. Total fail. The DJ that comes with the venue was mediocre at best. We provided him a very detailed playlist for the evening and he pretty much ignored it. The *must play* songs did not get played. Random songs did. At one point there were two people on the dance floor and he didn't change the song. Isn't that DJ'ing 101? Keep the party dancing. Overall, it was a wonderful day and a great time was had by all. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a magical wedding experience with the two caveats listed above. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. read more

We had our wedding here two years ago. The venue only offers beautiful spots for outdoor ceremony but if it rains the only solution is to move the tables in the reception area and make space to set up everything to do ceremony there, which didn't sound so bad at the time to book the venue, specially because we were told it almost never rains around that time. Well, it DID rain and we ended up doing the ceremony like they explained they would, and it was pretty bad. I'm still giving them 4 stars because it wasn't their fault and because the venue IS incredibly beautiful and despite the weather we did get some decent pictures. If it doesn't rain and things go as planned I'm positive you will have a wonderful wedding. Also, most of our guests said the food was ok. read more

We stayed at the villa for our friend's wedding. Kevin and Cindy at the villa were super accommodating and friendly. The food was great. The rooms were clean and well kept. Breakfast was served for us with fresh fruits and delicious pancakes. Kevin was kind enough to shuttle us between the villa and the venue. read more

The vineyard hills villa was one of the best places I have ever stayed at for a wedding. The view was gorgeous, I felt so comfortable in my room and I felt very well taken care of by Cindy and Kevin, the villa caretakers. If I could, I would stay here again.0 read more

Recently went to a wedding here of an high school friend. Had never heard of Los Willows probably because it's it's tucked away right off of Highway 395.. It was absolutely beautiful. Somewhat simple venue with gorgeous landscaping and country feel. A cute little lake with a boat that the bride arrived on. A fireplace area on the patio in case the night gets a little chilly. Reception options for either indoor or outdoors. Nice bathrooms. Charming decor. But my favorite was the salad. I'm serious the salad impressed me that much. they had two options, Cesar and some type of corn salad. The Cesar was one of the best I have ever tasted (and I am not usually a fan) but the corn salad!!!!!!! The corn salad must have had crack in it. My entire table must have went back for more helpings 5 times. Then we spent the next part of the night talking about the salad. The other food was good but seriously we just couldn't get enough of the salad. So I suggest you check out this place if you are planning a wedding. And you better make sure you have plenty of that salad and you better invite me. read more

We had our wedding at Los Willows two weeks ago and it was amazing, I highly recommend staying at the B&B! Kendra was awesome, she was great at getting people where they needed to be and helping us with whatever we needed. The food was delicious. The space and grounds were beautiful and clean. They just recently renovated and put in all new stonework and sod outdoors, beautiful. People were all friendly and helpful, very considerate of a busy bride and groom, Bobby the gentleman who runs the B&B and I guessing Kendra made sure to send a big piece of each layer of our cake up with us to the B&B after our farewell Rolls-Royce moment, very thoughtful. My only negative was that we ordered pre-ceremony mimosas for the bridal chamber and we didn't get them until 10 minutes before the ceremony, and we only got them because I remembered that we'd pre-ordered them and we asked. But seeing as that was the only thing I can think of that wasn't perfect I can't even dock a star for something so incredibly minor. NOTE to brides: watch your budget, all the little things add up, and they like to up-sell, but its worth it. read more

My twin sister recently got married there on August 25th and I could not be more pleased with the venue! The staff was so friendly and helpful! Kendra, the wedding coordinator was amazing! She made sure everything ran smoothly and they all went above and beyond to ensure that the day went well! I was really impressed with the amount of activities outside for the guests and I noticed that everyone had a great time despite the heat. Would definitely recommend to others! Los Willows was an amazing venue to work with from the moment we walked onto the property for the first time. I can't thank them enough for being so welcoming, kind, friendly, organized, and communicative! Never once did I feel "up-selled" on any extras. That's huge for me-- I HATE a sleezy sales person. They truly worked with me to craft me and my wife's vision, whether that meant adding on all the fancy extras or not. My wife and I are LGBT and I have to say I never once felt like my experience was different than any other couples. Such a refreshing feeling. Also, I am that person who pays attention to every detail and asks a thousand questions, and I did. I never felt that I was annoying anyone or a burden with my countless emails. Everyone in the office was lovely. Julianne: Julianne was our planner. One word to describe her... SWEETHEART. I love her so much. As I mentioned before she answered every single one of my questions and was extremely quick to reply. If she ever didn't have an answer (which was rare) she would note it and find the answer for me! She followed up on everything and that was so reassuring for me as a stressed bride. Overall she also got just as genuinely excited for everything as me which was so cute! Kendra: Just when I thought Julianne and the rest of the staff were great, in comes Kendra! She was our day-of coordinator and SO on top of things. I can honestly say I trusted her 100% with bringing my vision to life. I typically prefer to have control over everything and trust no one but myself so that's saying A LOT. Kendra was always quick to respond, and gave her honest opinions! For day-of, she had us designate a person on each bridal party side to be the contact. This was SO helpful and amazing because it meant I didn't have to have my phone on me and anything I needed to know would be communicated to me through my bridal party! I brought about 6 giant containers of STUFF & 100's of candles to decorate the ceremony and reception space. I let Kendra have freedom with this and WOW. I couldn't have even imagined it being any more beautiful. I'll have to attach pics because words won't do it justice. During the wedding, it was clear my wife and I were Kendra's #1 priority. Anything we needed, she was there. Even getting us drinks and making sure we had lots of food all day. I can't say ENOUGH about Kendra but here are a few words to describe her: Organized, reliable, knowledgeable, experienced, calm & collected, responsive, genuine, kind, friendly! Honestly I could keep going. Overall, our wedding was a dream. I credit this mostly to Los Willows and their incredible staff. We went above and beyond our original budget to have our wedding there and it was worth it. I wish I could relive the day over and over! read more

This review is extremely overdue... We didn't get married here, but it was definitely a beautiful venue. We came by last year and Lisa helped show us around the venue and was very helpful and courteous. The venue may look a little sketchy as you drive into it, but it's amazing once you get there! For us, this venue was definitely a little more than what we were looking for... they have a boat for the bride, a nice little red car for the groom, and a pretty expensive bar... $30 a person?? For our 120 people, it would've been $3,600! We got our full open bar at our venue for $1,200! If you're looking for a budget wedding venue, Los Willows definitely isn't the place... if you want an awesome wedding that's over the top, Los Willows is worth a tour! read more

Firstly, the venue itself is beautiful and the tree coverage provides excellent shade during the hotter days. Place would be a 5 Star if it didn't have some stolen valor embarrassment doing their security. Basically, within the first 3 seconds of meeting this guy, (who was the security guard that greeted guests at the entrance between the parking lot and main courtyard), he proceeded to tell me he got blown up in combat. I asked him who he was with (I was in the Marine Corps about 4 years ago) and he said he was with a Private Contractor. I asked which one and he said he wasn't allowed to say... Complete bullshit. My brother in law was a green beret for 11 years and did contracting afterwards. My old buddy from my Basic Recon course has been contracting for 3 years since he got out. My roommate and one of my best friends both served in 2nd and 3rd Bn at ranger bat and have tons of contractor friends. Hell, my old boss and one of our advisors both worked for Triple Canopy for several years. None of them are prohibited from saying shit. The people that do shady shit don't talk about it. This guy is bringing up getting blown up (while laughing about it) and then saying he can't talk about it just to get cool points with hot girls that are going to weddings where he works. Absolutely disgraceful. If I were his employer, I would do a legit background check on this moron and fire him when you find out he is full of shit. He is completely discrediting service members and the fallen and this is just embarrassing. Edit: I appreciate the response and will provide you with details. I will email you my details so you can properly investigate. I also changed the rating to reflect the venue and not the individual. read more

I finally received my refund so I am updating my review based on that. I can finally put down a retainer on a different venue now. I still encourage people to read the fine print before signing anything and decide for yourself if you want to take on the risk. Like I said previously, no other venue I contacted (about 7 other places in the area) has the same strict contract Los Willows has. Other than that, the venue is really stunning. Well manicured and picturesque. That's about all I can say is positive about the place, given my experience. read more

I have sat on this review for about two months now and finally decided it's time to post because u have not changed my mind about any of what I'm about to say. My husband I got married at los willows on august 7th , 2022. I will start with the positives, Lynn is amazing, she goes out of her way to meet with you, answer all your questions whether it's in person, phone, or email. She is kind and did nothing but her best to make sure our wedding planning was smooth throughout. The venue itself is beautiful, so many scenic spots to walk around in and take photos. All our guests raved about the food and drinks as well during our wedding. Here are some of the stuff that can be improved on: the bridal suite is very small specially if you have a bigger bridal party that you are working with and has minimal lighting. The hook by the mirror did not even work for me to hang my dress on for the photographer to take a nice picture. I let my day of coordinator know and nothing was done about it. Another negative aspect was that while our guests enjoyed their meal, the food and drinks were set out for the bride and groom before we even entered the room and did our first dances, so by the time we sat down at our table our food was cold, the ice in drinks were already melted, and there were flies around our food. So we did not get to taste the delicious food everyone raved about. We also did not get to even taste the appetizers everyone raved about as well. Our day of coordinator Tamra assured us that she would send servers with the appetizer trays towards the ceremony area knowing that we would be taking photos, she also assured us that we would get our appetizers during our boat ride with champagne after the ceremony. We were rushed down right after our ceremony to the boat ride and the champagne was sitting there but no appetizers in sight. My husband asked where they are and they guy who was driving the boat said I don't know but we need to get started, so this married couple had no appetizers at all. Also to add in to this food portion as well, we did not even get a slice of our own cake. The coordinator did not make that happen either. One major aspect that I was hugely disappointed in is our day of coordinator. Before the wedding day we got assigned to Tamra and when I spoke with her on phone, through email, and in person I thought wow she is so professional and has taken care of everything and during our meeting before the wedding she made us feel like we have nothing to worry about and she will be checking in on us at all times during the wedding. I had such high hopes to not stress during the wedding. Our wedding day was a hot one, my day of coordinator barely checked in on me throughout the day to even see if I need a glass of drink or water. Anytime I needed her I could not find her and had to send my cousin to see where she is and she was always in the office with the AC blasting. On top of us not getting our appetizers, having cold food, and barely being checked on, I had another guest come to me at 7 pm and say I can't find your guest sign in book and apparently Tamra had packed it away already when the wedding doesn't end until 930 pm. I again had to send my cousin to inform her to bring the book back out since a lot of people had not signed yet. Even when the wedding was coming to a close, instead of checking in on us at all, she came out at the very end before our exit with her phone and had us say good words about the wedding venue. I just want to point this out so it doesn't happen to another couple and hopefully from now on she will be more present and attentive during the wedding day to the bride and groom. read more

This venue put forth 100% effort and professionalism to ensure my daughter's wedding was everything she ever wanted it to be. The venue itself is stunning and private. The staff are accommodating at every turn. There was no request made in which they said they could not do it. It all started with the bride's preparation room. Just the right size for her and her small entourage. Our guests arrived to be greeted by a "champagne wall". Just ring the bell and a bottle of champagne is presented through the ivy wall by a white glove. Lawn games were provided and utilized while time passed before the ceremony. The bar was purposely closed until after the ceremony. When it was time for the ceremony, the crowd was easily ushered to the service area a short distance away. Please note, the ceremony area was on grass, so women's heels presented them a challenge. The ceremony area was elegantly decorated and gently lit. The sound system and dj were perfect. The seating was ample and properly spaced. After the ceremony, my daughter and her husband took a short "cruise" around the lake, giving all a chance to see their fantastic smiles and take many photos. Will the wedding party and family waited to take photos with the couple, limited champagne and appetizers were served in a secluded area. Our guests made their way to the bar which was now officially open. The lines were extremely long and remained this way for most of the night. Although at first this bothered us, it didn't distract from everything else going on around the venue. The rest of the traditional wedding things took place without a hitch. Entry of the official party, first dance, dinner service, cake cutting etc... The dinner was a plate of chicken and beef with vegetables and a salad. It was fantastic!! It is hard to get filet mignon correct for 150 people, but they did it!! Kudos to the caterer! The DJ who was recommended by the venue was incredible! He kept the dance floor full the entire night. One of our guests commented "it was like Shannon's own private dance party". Ancillary note: we rented the villa for Friday and Saturday night. The service and accommodations were first class. The villa staff went out of their way to ensure all our needs were met. They prepared meals for all of us on Saturday and Sunday morning. They ensured we had timely shuttle service to and from the ceremony site and Debra even went so far as to sew a button on the shirt of the groom just one hour before the service! Top shelf service. This venue gets 5 stars only because I can't give it more! Book it. It is worth every dollar! read more

Cathie, I felt compelled to correct the inaccuracies in your reply. I only paused in my correction to allow your general manager time to respond to my email in which I offered to allow your venue to keep $1,000 of my money while refunding the remaining $13,000+that you currently are withholding. In my opinion, given the stress imposed and limited communication, this was a more than a fair resolution to compensate you for the tasting and for your staff's time during our single planning visit. I never once said I was canceling my wedding. When we transferred to your venue we informed Liza that we were unable to shift our date due to the possibility of deployment next year among other time-pressing concerns. I was told we would be contacted at least one month prior to our date to let us know if it was likely to happen. Despite many attempts to reach your team, including visiting the venue, when I was finally contacted after a lapse in communication 13 days prior to my date and offered "the full package", which you indicate below is not possible given the current parameters, I was concerned. Lynne stated I would need to sign a "dancing waiver" to assume liability if anything were to happen. I asked to see this waiver and she said it would take a couple more days to draft. I informed Lynne I needed a firm decision by the following morning as I needed time to plan a smaller event, possibly a vacation rental, if it was not possible given current parameters to fulfill our full contract as I would need time to notify my guests and reduce the count to meet current regulations. Per the above, I was relying on the Act of God Clause in your contract when I made this decision "If the Owner is unable to perform under this Contract due to an act of God, casualty or other cause,...and the event is required to be canceled by Owner, the Retainer and any portion of the Package Price paid by Client shall be returned to the Client...". Per Lynne's most recent email the "sole purpose and intent of ...[the clause] ...is for the benefit of the "Owner"(Los Willows)" however in this case it applies to me and therefore Lynne has informed me that "We [Los Willows] will comply with whatever the Court decides is fair." As I have mentioned in my email correspondence I have no doubt that Los Willows was and is a beautiful venue however, given the everchanging situation with COVID 19, and the lack of timely communication from your staff, that simply was not my experience. Several couples have responded to my Yelp review with similar stories and I feel it is unfair for you to keep my/our money while being unable to provide the services we were promised- A Wedding with Full Reception. The option we were provided was to accept a lesser-ceremony at full price or move our date, neither option appealed to our needs. I have said before that I understand that Los Willows did not cause the pandemic however I would like you to understand that neither did I. I would be happy to discuss this with you personally Cathie, via email, as Lynne continually twists my words. I believe we can reach an amicable solution, one veteran family to one active duty family. read more

It takes a lot for me to write a Yelp review but i wanted to say im blown away. The venue is beautiful the staff is fair and kind. The only issues I see are the people who arent reading their contracts all the way through. Or not taking A LEGAL CONTRACT seriously. (Cmon youre adults if you sign a contract then you should know what youre getting into) I wanted to give a special thanks to Alyssa, my grand daughter's wedding coordinator. My wife and i have met with many coordinators throughout the years with our grandchildren growing up and getting married and i can say Alyssa has by far been our favorite. She either needs a promotion or a pay raise. She was extremely knowledgeable and quick to respond to our inquiries. She never seemed flustered or upset by our many requests. She was just an angel to work with and if my wife and i were any younger we would have requested her personally for our wedding. My only complaint is they need to hire more coordinators because it seems like Alyssa did it all! (And she did the best out of anyone ive seen). When we visted their sister property in oceanside they had way more people to do the same job Alyssa does by herself it seems. read more

The minute my husband and I stepped foot on this property, we knew this was where we were going to get married. This venue is seriously a dream. Everything is absolutely beautiful - the lake, the trees, all of the lights, the chandeliers, the bar, the reception room, the rock detail and flowers everywhere, you name it. The elegance of Los Willows is unmatched. Julianne helped us with all of the planning along the way, and she is seriously the sweetest human I have ever met. She happily answered ALL of our questions and was very responsive to all of our emails! She had great recommendations for certain things about the wedding day and did her best to accommodate requests. Nancy was our day of wedding coordinator. AMAZING. She was so sweet to me and made sure my day was perfect. I seriously did not stress once the whole day because I knew she would handle everything. She gave me her cell phone number and told me to text her if I needed anything or had any questions while I was in the bridal salon getting ready. I did not even need to question how things were going because I trusted her to get the job done. And she did. I cannot thank everyone at Los Willows enough for making the most important day of our lives an absolute dream. Our wedding was something out of a fairy tale. I wish I could re-live that day! I hope one day I can be a guest at a wedding there just so I can go back and see it again! read more

I had my wedding at los willows this past December. I'll go through the goods and the surprises. Goods: Location is stunning. You have so many options for ceremony sites and also photo ops. Los willows provides a planner and coordinator that are available to answer all questions and make any recommendations up until your big day! Julianne even helped me find a more price friendly company for a seamless white dance floor. It was really helpful having Julianne's help through out the process especially because my husband and I had to plan the wedding on our own with no help and a bit clueless with what we were doing. The bridal suite is adorable and makes for really fun photos. The walls are blue(something blue) and have a classy, vintage yet updated vibe. We also used their basic white satin linens and napkins and still got a stunning/classy vibe. Surprises: The wedding time is very short and there's restrictions with the ending time. I advice adding($$) an extra hour or two. If you add an additional hour for dancing they do stop the party 30 minutes before ending time so if you're the type to dance the night away than add two hours. If you're doing open bar and adding additional hours I would pay for the additional open bar package. We did based off consumption and the tab was adding up(we had a lot of drinkers) quickly. Also, there's a 20% service charge on everything and the obvious 8% tax(normal for venues but we didn't think too much about this. With it being a large party expect to pay an extra 2-6 grand on service fees and taxes. Reminders: Consider your budget when booking this venue because you still need to use outside vendors for photographers, videographer, flowers, table pieces, signs, bar decor, bar top decor, upgrades like dance floor, linens and such. If you're planning with a year time frame or more it's doable! The venue ended up being around 20k with upgrades and bar tab(before our outside vendors) for 100 people. More goods: I got married during the Fallbrook fires. Alex was absolutely amazing and kept in contact with me the entire time to make sure I wasn't stressed and gave me clear direction with what to tell guests. Alex jumped in my wedding planning towards the end due to some issues I was having with the venue and he was absolutely awesome. He worked with me and my husband and made sure we felt like this would be the best day of our lives(it was). Day of wedding: The only bad thing that happened was due to the fires. My dad missed the exit and was an hour late(naturally) so the ceremony started late and we lost golden hour sunshine for our posed photos(huge bummer for me). However, the staff really took care of us, checked in regularly and did a great job dealing with our wild bridal party. The day was remarkable, beautiful and everything I could have asked for and more. We plan on taking photos at Los willows soon to make up for our loss of photos so it ended up working out just fine! I hope this review helps others with their planning! read more

My husband and I were married at Los Willows a little over a month ago. I cannot begin to say how happy we both were with how beautiful everything was, how seamlessly our wedding was executed and how much fun all of our friends and family had. When we originally came to tour the venue, our first impression was that it is breathtaking. It's secluded location and natural beauty is unreal and fairytale-esque. We had planned on touring multiple venues in the area but canceled all other tours as soon as we finished our tour. All of the staff that we had the pleasure of working with were spectacular. I cannot say enough about what exceptional customer service they all exemplified. They handled everything so professionally and made sure that at all times my groom and I were happy. On the day of the wedding I felt like a princess. My bridal party got ready on location at their Bed and Breakfast and spent the day sipping champagne and enjoying being beautified. Everything was taken care of so well by the staff that none of my family or bridal party had anything to worry about. Our ceremony and reception went perfectly and far beyond my expectations. All of our vendors worked so well with each other and the staff at Los Willows that we all were able to enjoy the day and night without a worry. Our wedding coordinator Allyson was with us from planning the little details months before through answering numerous questions and requests via phone, email and text. We felt like all of our dreams of a perfect wedding day came to life because of her unbelievable talent and care and support. She was with me from the morning on the day through the end of the night and I'll bet I didn't see half of the things she did to contribute to our happiness but everything I did see was beyond my wildest expectations. I cannot imagine what our wedding would have been like without her and we're so grateful to her for everything! My family and close friends spent the night of the wedding at the Bed and Breakfast on the property and could not believe the graciousness of their Inkeeper Bobby. He is so spectacular and wonderful and made sure we were all so well taken care of. I cannot say enough about how accommodating he is. Overall, the venue is beautiful beyond belief, the staff is unbelievably accomdating and kind. The wedding is planned out so well that at no point during the process did I feel the least bit stressed. Liza, the wedding director, ensures that everything is planned and executed so seamlessly. My guests are still talking about how elegant and beautiful everything was! My husband and I are so happy with Los Willows and everything they did to make our day so special. I would recommend them a thousand times to every bride and groom to be. Thank you Los Willows, Allyson, Bobby, Liza and all of the staff there! read more

I have nothing but wonderful, amazing things to say about Los Willows, their staff, ceremony site, and customer service. Since we signed our contract and booked this venue, they had been in communication regarding every little detail. If a question came up, they answered it in a timely fashion. They made wedding planning easy and non stressful. Come our actual wedding day, it was a dream. The entire Los Willows staff were helpful since we stepped foot onto the property. I didn't have to think about any small detail, they handed everything. Our coordinator, Rialee, was a dream come true. She was kind and considerate, but intentional with her direction (handling a large bridal party is like herding sheep). She ensured my husband and I knew where we had to be at every given moment (cake cutting, first dance, toasts, exit, etc.). She fed us, grabbed us cocktails, and made the entire day run SO SMOOTHELY. I cannot rave about her enough. Finally, the meadow, where our ceremony was, is to die for. Best day of our lives, wish we could relive it! read more

I would give even more stars if it was possible!! From the very first visit to Los Willows we fell in love with the venue, and once we saw the meadow we knew this was going to be the place we got married at. The staff was unbelievably sweet and ready to show us around and answer the millions of questions we had. We worked with Alyssa and Lynn from the beginning and they both were just amazing, incredibly organized and genuinely caring people. We just had our wedding there this past Friday and it was more than we could have ever imagined! The venue itself is perfect, but once it was decorated it was an actual dream come true! The staff went above and beyond for us and all of our guests, we've had guests make a point to tell us this over the past couple of days. Being so busy that day it took so much stress off of our shoulders knowing our guests were being well taken care of. Kendra was our day of coordinator and we cannot say enough good things about her! She made rehearsal and wedding day go seamless, without her we would've been lost. There was a tight schedule and a bunch of little things you don't really think of and she was on it the whole time, all with a smile on her face. The wedding party and our families appreciate everything she did for us! We also worked with all of Los Willows preferred vendors and let me tell you, they prefer them for a reason! Every single one of them was downright amazing, they truly made the whole wedding experience as stress free as can be and made my now husband (Ahhh) and I dream wedding come true! They all work together so well and its all the little touches each of them made that truly made it stand out and be even that much more beautiful. ALSO, do yourself a favor and add on the champagne wall!! It was a hit and such a unique thing, it was the first thing guests saw and just sets the tone for the whole day. In addition to the venue, we were also able to use the Villa they offer. It is such an incredible add on option to have and absolutely beautiful! We hosted our rehearsal lunch there and it was perfect. Our wedding party was able to stay for 2 nights as well as get ready in the man cave and bridal salon. We highly recommend taking advantage of this option, it made the getting ready process go so smooth that we were 1hour ahead of schedule (when does that ever happen!) As if you couldn't tell from this review, we 100,000% recommend this venue for your wedding!! It really is such an amazing property and team. We are honored to now be a part of the Los Willows family. read more

DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE. I have waited since our wedding in October to write this review to give it time to cool down, rationalize and give the most accurate account of our experience. With Covid, we had to change our plans twice as we decided it was important to get a move on with our lives and start family planning. We opted to have the willow grove for our ceremony and the villa for our reception. INITIALLY, Lynne the Director there appeared to be a kind soul and to be very welcoming. However, that quickly changed as she bad mouthed everyone including coworkers, the owner and people getting married there! She would be completely non responsive for long periods of time, was very confused and unclear on their contract (as were ALL of their "included" vendors). She is by far one of the most disorganized and unprofessional humans I've ever met and her employees told my husband and I how terrible it is to work for her. The FLORIST that comes with the venue told me that since I don't have $2k+ to spend on flowers I won't have nice flowers and how sad and cheap/low class that will be. She literally broke me down into tears. When I reached out the Lynne she responded with NOT a "gosh I'm sorry that you had a bad experience, how can I make it right," but instead met me with no calls back until I called so many times she left a email (which I still have) which said to deal with it and that we could either cancel our contract with them or suck it up and not get any credit if we decide to not use her. THIS PLACE ONLY CARES ABOUT MONEY NOT YOU. The PHOTOGRAPHER: I was supposed to have True Photography photograph our wedding day which was a big part of why we signed up! But last minute weeks before, we were told they're too expensive so they're going to go with Shadow Catcher photography and we had no say in the matter. I spoke to the owner who SEEMED kind and understanding, promising lots of coverage, to pose us and provide guidance. Our wedding ran behind so we were short on time which I understand rushed some aspects HOWEVER: SHE HAD NO PICTURES OF MY HUSBAND AND SON getting ready and they were waiting the whole time. We had ONE shitty picture of us having our first kiss, most pictures were blurry and the lighting was TERRIBLE. She did NOT position anyone. She pulled up a chair and just shot pictures. We aren't centered, there are huge light balance issues, she didn't correct anything. Everyone I've shown them to first says they are SO SORRY. When kindly trying to discuss them because...they're my wedding photos and their contract is completely unprofessional not citing any details, she got in such a tizzy she wrote an email to myself and Lynne saying she's done everything she can and won't help me anymore. I have ZERO edited pictures and no RAW pictures. They're awful and she refuses to give us the raw photos saying she deleted them right away. She was the most two faced unprofessional photographer I've ever experienced. The RECEPTION: We had 28 guests including us at the villa. They went through two different sets of "innkeepers" for the villa. The second set was GLORIOUS and the best part of their service! The food was from Redtail Catering which was AMAZING and I'd totally use them again!!! HOWEVER, during the reception, everyone was confused and it was super disorganized for people trying to get to the villa. Waiters SPILLED wine on our guests, didn't serve guests during the cocktail hour and then they were YELLED AT TO GET OUT OF THE VILLA. Literally yelled at! REPEATEDLY. Having guests tell you in the following weeks that they were talked down to by staff, had stuff spilled on them, that they didn't get served and that they were yelled at is NOT OK! Our family members and friends were yelled at to "get out of the villa!" It was mortifying and embarrassing. There was so much miscommunication, things not placed where they were supposed to (to the point where there was no room to have our husband and wife dance), our supposed wife and groom gifts lynne promised us were not there and our guests were treated like shit. The vendors and coordinator were all very confused about their contracts and she'd lots of light on the reality of the situation there. I had several people reach out to me who had been married here or had bad interactions with Lynne tell me not to get married here because of their experiences. I should have listened. I honestly wouldn't recommend anyone get married here. read more

This may be a tad lengthy, but I think it's important for you readers to know, so here we go: My first daughter was married at Los Willows in 4/2012 and it was spectacular!!! Red Carpet all the way. Pure Perfection from owner, staff, coordinator, vendors!! Now let's move to second daughter. She was to be married at the sister venue, Paradise Falls, but with Covid, in March, that venue closed down. I spoke to Lynne on the phone and she was truly caring and could feel my pain having to tell my daughter. We came up with a plan B, move to Los Willows or we were offered a full refund at that time. Nikki chose Los Willows, but now we needed to change the date, as the venue was previously booked. We had people change airline tickets (her fiance's family is from out-of-state) we moved her date up two weeks. Then here came the second shut down due to Covid...ughhh Now we all don't know what's happening, just the waiting game... Again, I worked with Lynne, Victoria, Tatiana and we all rode the ride. Well, we stuck it out and yesterday, 10/4/2020, my daughter was married at Los Willows and it was once again spectacular!! We had to change numerous things due to the Covid restrictions, but you know what, we had fun with it and made the absolute best of it knowing we were getting married in this weird time. It was beyond amazing and fun! Once again, they've outdone themselves. Thank you Lynne and the staff at Los Willows for making this day so special for my second daughter's big day!!!!!! I would highly recommend this venue and staff!! read more

Just spoke with someone at the office regarding a wedding that my niece had planned. Her Grandmother had made a 2500.00 down payment, and unknow to me, a payment was due on the 15th of February. Well, her grandmother passed away on February 6th, and obviously I wasn't or anyone else aware of the 15th due date, except the bride. So, when I called to make arrangements to pay the balance, she told me that I couldn't do that. They are keeping the $2500.00 down payment. WOW! I'm glad they only deal with the "happy moments of life". Death is a one time event, and this person at Los Willows was very unforgiving. I will never contact or speak well of this company, as I beleive that this is a terrible way to do business. read more

We visited many venues in the Temecula area, but after stepping just 1 foot onto the Los Willows property, we knew this place is where we HAD to get married. It is absolutely a stunning venue. Even our videographer day on the day of wedding, pulled out his drone something we didn't order, because it was just too beautiful of a venue to not get an areal view he said. Something that we loved about Los Willows, that made it standout compared to the local wineries, is that its not only a beautiful elegant outdoor venue, but that its a private venue. On your wedding its just you and your guest, no public wine tasters around, no rushing to setup after it closes to the public...all day its yours, all yours! There is so many breathtaking options to really make the whole day an amazing personalized experience. The groom got a special roadster entrance, the Bride and party, got to get ready in a little house remade into a bridal salon with salon chairs for hair and make up, a little kitchen area so you don't have a hangry bride! The meadows makes the ceremony feel like a remote destination in the middle of the woods. Then a private boat ride around the lake gave me and my new groom a little bit of private time to process everything. Then the all weather Tent, with A/C, beautiful decor, and really nice bathrooms (a must duh) and a killer dance floor for the reception celebration. The staff at Los Willows from start to finish are amazingly friendly and helpful! Liza got us hooked within the first minute. Alyssa was our wedding planner throughout the year leading up, and was my absolute favorite person to work with throughout the whole wedding process. She was so sweet, funny, responsive, helpful and organized.... just a pleasure! And then Amanda, our day of coordinate was on top of everything and made sure our day went so smooth, even me, and I was a little rebel against the normal wedding day flow. Once we signed on with Los Willows, the whole wedding process was so much easier. They had a great preferred vendor list, which we stuck to for the majority of vendors. We went with their suggested DJ, ProSounds (Alex and Craig were amazing) Craig totally understood our music vibe and crushed it, everyone was complimenting our dance music choices. Sweet Stems, a preferred Florist, killed it as well and made it sooo stemless for us hehe. Elegance on Display handled the dessert bar...and real tears were shed by a guest (an adult), who went to get some to find out all the desserts had been eaten. Andrea, the owner of Flawless and Unique, made my hair and make up choice SO easy to make. I never looked so beautiful in my life. I also loved that she brought in a team for my bridesmaids/mamas, so the schedule wasn't all day event. Thank you Los Willows for the best day of our lives!!!!! read more

I will start by saying that overall, our event turned out beautiful. Thank you to the Los Willows team for pulling off a lovely event for us. Lynne and Nancy, thank you for your patience and willingness to work with us to make our day special. That said, there are a couple of things that I wish I had been aware of when we selected Los Willows for our wedding venue, and I want to make sure other brides are aware. Our biggest gripe was the food. I was so disappointed in how bad it was. We had a duet plate with filet and halibut, brussel sprouts, and mashed potatoes. We heard many people talking at our wedding about how bad the food was which was a huge disappointment for us as good food was super important to us. Los Willows has their own caterer and their menu is extremely limited and outdated. The barware they offer in their packages is plastic- which has no place at an elegant wedding. In addition, there are strict rules at the bar- no neat drinks, no shots. There are very also strict rules about food in the villa, bridal salon/suite, and grooms retreat. We were told multiple times that if we brought in so much as a granola bar we would forfeit our deposit. We opted to stay off-site and get ready off-site as these rules seemed so silly. We stayed at the Rancho Bernardo Inn (30 minutes away) and they were a dream to work with. Our stay was gorgeous and perfect and we brought in anything our hearts desired! The centerpieces, linens, and chairs that they offer are outdated and not in the best condition. If I could do it again I would choose probably choose another venue. Though our big-day was beautiful, it took a lot of work to elevate what Los Willows offers in their packages. read more

I haven't been to a lot of weddings, but I gotta admit. This place makes you want to get married. Like others have said, this place is not just gorgeous, but BEAUTIFUL! First you have to drive down this windy little road with trees all around. Makes you think you're at a swamp minus the water. You know you have arrived when you reach the parking lot. At the parking lot is a little bus that drives you from the parking lot to the wedding area. I was baffled to find out that the bus only drives you up a short hill and straight for about 200 feet. I guess they don't want the ladies to walk up that small hill with heels. As we stepped out of the bus, we were greeted by a gorgeous view. To the left is a small house/cottage/building where the wedding party can get prepped. And to your right is a greenery area with a gazebo, and reception party area (with fabric flowing ceilings that look like clouds). And to the far right is a lake/pond, which looked gorgeous. "Wow, I hope I get to get married at a place just as beautiful," I thought. DISCLAIMER: if you plan on attending a wedding here and don't want to be surprised, then don't read what is said below. As for the wedding, the wedding party walked down the aisle, opposite of the lake towards the gazebo. All of us were looking back, waiting, and I mean waiting for the bride after the rest of the wedding party walked down. For a second, I wondered if she was even coming. After looking back for so long, I wanted give my neck a break and faced the gazebo again. Then we noticed the photographers facing the lake... and there she was. The bride, her father, (and the guy working the motor boat). TOTALLY did not expect that. She came from the opposite end of the lake, furthest away, toward the dock by the seating area. My friends were laughing and said, "She's on a boat," like that song with T Pain. (The song is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOvaCV6uQp8). But besides that funny part, all of us were totally shocked and surprised. And wow, what an entrance! Who can say I arrived on a boat?! (not a dinky one people!) The reception area was fairly big and the food was pretty good. I'm not sure how catering is done with this place, so won't go on describing that. But either way, I totally would recommend anyone getting married to consider this place. Heck, I'd want to get married here if I was getting married. read more

***customer service rating*** Service was rude. Overpriced with what they are competing with in SD. How people keep coming back boggles my mind. As the two ladies before me mentioned, I too have not attended a wedding here and it probably is beautifully coordinated... however, the service we received on our tour was a huge deal breaker. Los Willows was the first place me and my fiance visited in our search for a wedding venue. I considered it because it was close by and looked nice online. We arrived and entered the events building and stood there waiting to be greeted... a few mins later we were noticed and the lady handed us a little info sheet to fill out. She led us to the bridal suite next door to complete the form which took no less than 5 mins to fill out, (date, guests count, ect.). There we stayed for the next 15 mins waiting for someone to show us around. It wasn't until our baby, began to cry a bit that I hear "Am I suppose to be somewhere right now?" and "Oh, yeah... they're in the bridal suite!" The lady at the front had completely forgot about us!! We finally began the tour and as soon as we walk out of the bridal suite another Los Willows coordinator walks by with a couple who I'm assuming were going to be marrying there. Our coordinator then greets them, completely walks away from us and begins to converse with them!! Ahh, are you kidding me right now??? There we stood for about 7 or 8 mins while she spoke with them. Um hello?? Not even an "excuse me one moment," to break away from us or "sorry about that" when she returned... We were seriously considering just leaving at this point. Since we still were not sure what the pricing was we wanted to stay and see if what they were charging would make up for the customer service... It didn't. We finished our tour in the tent to find out that it would cost us the same amount to have it here as any other four star venue in San Diego with way more to offer. The grounds are nice but.... to me not $110 a head nice. It honestly gave me a backyard feel. Yes, a REALLY beautiful backyard, but none the less. Also, when talking about tinted lighting, which was already installed and on, the coordinator mentioned it would be an additional $250 to the wedding package!! REALLY?? Come on now, that's just such a rip off! I understand if you are paying for installation and setup, but the fact that everything's already installed and all they'd have to do is flip a switch...that really should be included in what your already paying. Again, I haven't attended a wedding here so I can't speak for that experience. But from the experience I had today, I'm for sure not having mine here. read more

*Disclaimer* This review is for customer service only! I visited this venue as a prospective client. And just as Erin A., I have not attended a wedding here. Kat was the person I made contact over the phone to set the appt. After she gave me the driving directions she proceeded with a closing statement " I look forward to see you and hope you can be ready to make a decision then". I personally found that a bit too pushy. The day of the tour, my fiancee were asked about the # of and guests and the date we're planning to have the wedding. She printed out a preliminary quote for us and gave us a package with more info. We proceed to walk around the place. I asked Kat how was the weather like around April then she answered with another question "What is the weather like in San Diego around April? ... You should know, I'm not going to tell you that it is sunny because that would be the day that would rain". We didn't like that. Also when my fiancee asked Kat about the bar options, she would only nott her head and say "hum, you would find that information on the package" She did this twice - Really? Who in their right mind wants to deal with someone that rather have you research and find your own answers "in the package" instead of giving you a knowledgeable response? Not happy at all! Too bad because this was actually a BIG deal breaker for us to consider Los Willows for our wedding. read more

***Disclaimer*** I only toured this location as a prospective client, I have not attended a wedding here San Diego wedding locations are ridiculously overpriced. This is a well known and accepted fact. However, how this place stays in business when competing with BEAUTIFUL wedding locations with its current prices is beyond me. I accompanied my recently engaged friend on a day of wedding research. When we arrived for our appointment we were shocked at how....(how do I say this delicately)....dated.....this place was. Yes it is recently painted and the grounds are well kept however it can't hide the fact that it is very cliche 1992 banquet wedding. For example, the reception dinner chairs are plastic lawn chairs. As an "upgrade" you can get the white satin chair covers with organza bow. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with lawn chairs, but they belong outside. Not inside in a wedding reception ballroom with a satin chair cover affixed. To top it off, the prices they quoted us were outrageous. The entire time I kept thinking how this would be worth it if it were inexpensive. Yet their minimums and per person prices are about the same as a 4 star place on the coast. As stated above, I haven't experienced an actual wedding here. I can't speak for the food or the catering services. I can say that the ladies we met with were all very lovely and sweet. So take this review for what its worth but I just thought I might help other future brides before they made the trip out all the way to Fallbrook. read more

Let me start by saying that I haven't been to many weddings in Southern California, so I might not have a lot to compare it to. But wow, this place is BEAUTIFUL! I'm not sure you could find a lovelier place to have a wedding or special event. I hear they've recently gone through some upgrades to make things even more beautiful. When we were there for our friend's wedding, we fell in love with the lake. The lake combined with landscaping and the hills makes for an incredible backdrop for wedding photos (and it sure beats the cheesy Vegas fountain photos from our wedding). And of course there's the boat ride...where else does the bride arrive on the boat and the bride and groom end their walk up the aisle to be whisked away across a lake for some quiet time? The fact that it comes as a total surprise to those in attendance makes it ever better still. Talk about memories. I also love that they only allow one event per day. Not one event per half-day...we're talking a full day here. The inn is all yours (what an awesome perk that is!). The on-site salon, all yours. The lake, the vineyard, the grounds, the ready rooms, the reception hall...ALL YOURS! You won't be rushed. Who does that any more these days?!? Add to all of this their impressive package prices and it can't be beat. If was able to have a do-over wedding (I keep pushing the hubs) I know it would be here. Especially after experiencing it all during my best friend's wedding. This is the perfect destination wedding location. read more

The Date: 9-04-04 The event: Felicia and Armando Garcia's Wedding After getting the dates mixed up in the book, the manager of the site was quick to get us back as a customer. The manager asked what she could do to keep us as a customer. We ended up looking at one other site for our wedding but came back to Los Willows. We told the manager what we would like and she followed Thur on what we asked for. The day of the wedding went perfect and we had no problems with anything during the day. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is great. There are tall willow trees and a big pound to Cruz around on a small boat with a champagne toast, and at the end of the night they treat you to a ride in an old Rolls Royce. If iI was to renew our vows or get married again I would put Los Willows on the top of my list for the site. read more

B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L! The grounds are gorgeous its like stepping into wonderland! I was fortunate enough to get married here Sept. 4th 2004 it was the greatest day of my life (besides the birth of my son). We didn't start off on the right foot with Los willows at first they basically gave my original wedding date away to another couple...................I was pissed off!! I wasn't a bridezilla or anything but ,come on its the most important day of your life and you would expect them to get it right???? Hello!!! Its your wedding day!! Anywho, we left there with them knowing we were upset and told them to keep our date of Sept 4th and we would contact them. We ended up checking out a couple of more places that totally didn't compare to the grounds of Los Willows. We met with their staff again and signed a contract but not without getting what I wanted on their dime. I got the boat ride w/ champagne after the ceremony for free, the linens upgraded with the sashes on the chairs and the Rolls Royce all for free! They turned my views of them completely around the day of the wedding it was simply magnificent, perfect, it went smoothly and it was exactly what I wanted! They were super professional and right by my side when I needed them. The entire experience was awesome! It all ended on a perfect note they satisfied the customers and came through. If you are ever looking for a place to get married I suggest you go and check it out you wont be disappointed! I would renew my vow's there in a heartbeat. read more

My fiancee and I got married here last Thursday, Sep 24 2015. All the ladies at Los Willows were courteous and friendly from the start. We were on a tight budget and were planning on having a small wedding of approximately 50 guest, Los Willows accommodated our needs and really held our hands throughout the entire process. They were very receptive to giving us discounts where they could and the wedding was a hit! Beautifully placed setting and a romantic boat cruise later my fiancee and I are married and I couldn't be more satisfied. Thank you to all the lovely ladies of Los Willows Fallbrook. Luke Baja P.S. The DJ I had hired for the wedding did not show up to the wedding!!! No phone call, no text, no anything! My wedding coordinator from Los Willows took the reigns and came up with a fantastic DJ all within a span of 45 minutes. Talk about saving the day!!! THANKS! read more

First, we'll point out the good stuff to be fair. The venue is gorgeous and well maintained as you see when you visit in person. It has great features and looks beautiful in photos. Also, the day of coordinator that the venue provided and event staff were fantastic and nice to work with. Our personal coordinator was impressed with them as well. The reasons we do not recommend this venue has nothing to do with how my daughter's wedding turned out in the end but everything to do with management, sales and ownership. First, it is very clear they are only in it for the money and really don't have a passion for the families they serve. With the unfortunate circumstances caused by COVID-19 this year, it was nobody's fault and yet Los Willows was unwilling to compromise and showed no compassion for the couple or our family. They wanted to make sure they weren't negatively impacted and all the hardship fell on us. After rescheduling twice already we said we would not reschedule again, since my daughter and her husband just wanted to move on with their lives. However, even with the uncertainty on when they would be allowed to have events again, their manager Lynne insisted they would not cancel but only reschedule. I mean how many times can you expect someone to reschedule their wedding? In the end we were basically forced to have a wedding that we didn't even feel the health officials and government would approve. It was a fight to get the guest count under 100 because we didn't feel comfortable having that many and so many were coming from out of town and couldn't travel. So when it came down to finally having the wedding we ended up stuck paying for many people that weren't there, due to their greediness and unwillingness to compromise. Also, even though we were told we could use vendors to make up our guest count that did not end up being the case because they reneged on that offer. It was so unfortunate that a beautiful and memorable day had to be tainted by such bad experiences dealing with their office staff. In a time we should all be working together and trying to make a difficult time less stressful, Los Willows FAILED. read more

Attended my fiance's nephew's wedding, and though the location was in a great, secluded spot I couldn't help notice how MAN destroyed this beautiful little canyon with this artificial environment. That is besides the point. The wedding went off well, it was hot as hell and the venue did not supply many sun-shades. So there were elderly people baking in 90f sun. The PA system was BAD. At times when the wedding songs were playing, you couldn't hear anything but scratching and distortion. I was quite embarrassed for the bride when her entry song was unrecognizable at times. The staff there are wonderful, however. Very nice and accommodating. The bartenders do not check IDs and do not check to see if adults are purchasing booze and handing them off to minors. I personally witnessed that! I am not sure if the catering is an outside contract or from Los Willows, but the food was bad. If I eat meat, and I rarely do, I want it warm. The attendants picked up our plates before we were even finished (and did this to many others) so we went back to the buffet and grabbed a new plate and got some more food. Apparently, they have a "per plate" charge to the person(s) who are paying the tab. What a SCAM! 120 people attended and I guess they charged for 200 "meals" based on plates used. I also returned to the restroom to see my utensils removed. This venue is good for those wanting to escape LA, San Diego, OC, whatever, for a wedding. It's about an hour and a half from LA and an hour from SD. It's a small little mountain town with beautiful canyons and roads - but not THAT remote for those who don't like to be far from "civilization". read more
