Our…read moreoriginal wedding was supposed to be a year earlier, but we had to postpone (twice!) due to COVID, and Bob and Lisa were the kindest, most accommodating hosts ever! We actually ended up staying at the ranch for a mini-vacation in August 2020 and had a great time, and then we had a 115-person wedding in May, and it was so perfect! We originally booked the venue back in March of 2019 after visiting and falling in love with the gorgeous and unique house, INCREDIBLE view, and the owners' enthusiasm and responsiveness. After communicating with a few venues, we were so impressed at how helpful Lisa and Bob were, and they were more than happy to answer any question we had (and responded to emails at the drop of a hat, even after we booked!). What was also great about the venue is that so many things are included, and you aren't stuck making decisions about what type of plates to have, etc -- they have done so many weddings that they know what will work, and you can feel confident that everything will turn out awesome. We even went into the prop room and picked out a few things to put out (they have everything you could imagine), but the staff took it to the next level on the actual wedding day, and everything looked so beautiful. In addition, they work with great vendors -- in particular, everyone was raving about Buckboard catering, who we also used for our rehearsal dinner. Their coordinator, Jen, is so fantastic and organized! Once we had our initial call, she maintained constant communication and made sure everything went off without a hitch. She even had lots of helpful tips for where to set things up and helped our day run very smoothly. I definitely recommend staying in the house for a few days if you choose CNR as your wedding venue -- it's such a fun place to stay! We stayed for four nights, and our families had a blast bonding together, and it's also fun to feed the animals and swim in the pool! There's so much to do at the ranch (and it also makes for a special experience for wedding guests -- we had lots of people commenting on how much fun it was to get off the shuttle and feed carrots to all the animals!). Thanks to Lisa and Bob for the most special day ever! We are so happy to have chosen CNR as our venue!!

Jenelle was also able to make some great vendor recommendations that worked out wonderfully. The venue itself was beautiful and many of our friends told us during the night that they would have gotten married here if they had known about it for their weddings. Every member of the staff was so helpful and two steps ahead of every single one of our needs for the day before we even knew we needed them. Jenelle was the ultimate star of the show and truly made the day run so smoothly every step of the way.

Then it came time for people calling Ubers, we were told he would not give the staff on the golf carts the WiFi so we could call Ubers. There is zero reception at the venue and no communication regarding the WiFi to call for rides and car service. A few of us had to stop him to get it and were finally able to call a car. No reflection on the bartenders and staff, they were all lovely. Just a rude owner and directing the clean up start way before the wedding was slated to end. Otherwise, would have been a five star review.

As someone who can definitely be Type A, I knew I needed a planner I could fully trust so that when the wedding day came, I could actually let go and enjoy it. Mikaela gave me exactly that. We had a pretty stacked timeline with multiple vendors, dancers, and a lot of moving pieces, and Mikaela was a true professional through all of it. Everything ran so smoothly, we somehow packed everything in, and I never once felt like I needed to worry about what was happening behind the scenes. Special shoutout to Stacy, our bridal assistant, who was AMAZING and took such great care of me and the entire bridal party throughout the day! The entire Trademark experience was seriously smooth sailing. Having so much handled in one place made the planning process so much easier, and Botanica was the perfect setting for our wedding. This is the second property of theirs that I've attended a wedding at (1 obviously being my own), and both were spectacular. I would highly recommend checking out all of their locations! Every corner of the venue made for a stunning backdrop, and our pictures turned out incredible because of it. A huge reason this venue became our number one choice was Lisa, who gave us our tour. She made such a genuine connection with us that we simply didn't find at the dozen or so other venues we toured. That personal touch made all the difference and is what ultimately made this venue our first choice. We genuinely felt valued from our very first visit, and every meeting afterward reinforced that feeling. I also have to give the biggest shoutout to our venue coordinator, Meghan. She made our wedding day completely seamless and stress-free. I truly can't compliment her enough! She is SO sweet, incredibly organized, and made sure every little thing we wanted to happen actually happened.
