We just had a baby, and we were looking for an inexpensive, charming little venue to have an intimate wedding. Im so glad we found Marie and Chapel in the Vines. The grounds were covered in lush greenery, tons of shade trees that blocked out the hustle and bustle of Old Town Temecula, a beautiful water feature and a gazebo and cottage. It was a little slice of heaven. She wrote the most beautiful ceremony for my husband and I. There is also a professional photography option as well. Marie is absolutely wonderful and made our wedding ceremony perfect. We held a 26 person wedding at Villa di Calabro on May 4th. She meet with us in February and then again a week before the ceremony. She was very responsive and organized. I can't even begin to describe how much I loved the script from our ceremony. She made it heartfelt and beautiful, but also, since we requested it, she included a few fun star wars phrases. "May the forth be with you"! The venue was beautiful and everything was in bloom. We ended up having a reception at house in the vineyards, but Marie can also do catering at Villa di Calabro if you choose. read more

Our wedding is a little over a year away, but as many know who are planning a wedding, finding a venue is one of the biggest challenges. We have been to many venues and seen some great options, but affordable wedding options around san diego are almost impossible to find. Especially when you are looking for an all inclusive option. The best all inclusive option we found was a little over $6k, good price but still higher than our budget allows. We were ready to give up and just plan on a justice of the peace, and going to a restaurant. Then we came across Chapel in the Vines. Met with Marie, who is friendly and very helpful. Love that she is helping us with finding ways to save money, that's rare. The Venue, ceremony, photography, and dinner reception with cake, costwise, is better than anything else I've found. We booked our date and for now the biggest headache is done. We still have some time to go, so I will add to this review so you all can get a glimpse at our experience with Marie and Chapel of the Vines...but I confidently give five stars based on affordability, response time, and helpfulness. Without this option, we'd be settling for Justice of Peace, and we are so happy that we no longer have to consider that. Stay tuned for future updates as we get closer to our wedding date. read more

She put together a lovely and meaningful ceremony and incorporated unique elements that we requested because of our culture, careers and life experiences. We had thee most perfect wedding here. Got married, was able to have my guest sample olive oil and do wine tasting while we took pictures after. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a wedding to be affordable. Also, ask for the photographer to do your pictures. Marie has been very accommodating to me and my Fiancée, met with her several times and have always gotten responses to my texts and emails within and hour or two. I asked to meet at location and she made it easy for my and fiancée to meet her on days that work for us which made us like her the first time we came out to meet with her. She is also catering our wedding which is great since its a 2 birds one stone mentality. Our wedding is in March and we are very pleased with how everything is going thus far. If we had to do another small party for anything else I would use Marie as a party planner. The minister Marie worked very hard to meet all of our expectations in a proficient and caring manner. Marie was amazing! Our ceremony was so beautiful and she put a lot of thought into it! She talked about how we met, our goals, etc. She even performed an opening prayer and referenced the Bible! We use Marie as a officiant at a venue of our choice. Her husband was our photographer. She did a wonderful ceremony, that was touching and very sweet. Her husband took pictures during the ceremony and was not at all intrusive, he also had wonderful ideas for poses before and after the ceremony. She made my very small wedding a memory to cherish for a lifetime. We were married on February 11, 2016 the day was perfect , we are new to the area and could not have asked for a better experience. If I could give 0 stars I would. To begin with it took me a few times calling to have her finally respond and call me back. After that she briefly went through the options of what locations she could perform a ceremony. I felt as if she was in a hurry over the phone and it just made me feel rushed. She also asked us why the date we chose and when I told her we wanted a spring wedding as it is our favorite time of the year she just responded "hmmm okay". From that point I requested images via email of the locations and she responded with the images the following day. Then I asked for further information as to how many guests, are children allowed, times available? I got no answer. I emailed her several times to get an answer as our wedding date is coming up soon and I wanted to confirm and reserve the date for our very special day! And NOTHING not one email, call or text. My fiancé then called a couple times and left a voicemail and to this day not one word or response. So people good luck getting a hold of this place. So messy and unprofessional. read more
