My wife and I recently got married and Rev. Dr. Jeff Saville helped make our day extremely memorable, beautiful, and a true fairytale wedding. From start to finish Reverend Dr. Jeff Saville was there to coach and support us with planning our small ceremony. He is worth every penny spent! Rev. Jeff was flexible with changes, gave us plenty of options for Bible passages to be read, unity ceremony options, what he could wear for his ceremony outfit, reviewed our vows to make sure they would flow before printing them for us, was punctual, professional and funny! Jeff saved the day! Our wedding date was set for April 29th, 2022 and, initially, a family member was our officiant. However, 3 months before our date, she informed us that she was no longer able to do it....we were so stressed out about finding an officiant that quickly. And then my husband found Jeff. Let me begin by saying Jeff is the absolute best officiant out there and our wedding would have not happened if it was not for him saving us the night before at 1130 PM. See below for our crazy 2020 wedding story. Josh and I met Jeff last winter in preparation for our May 2020 wedding. He was great to work with and super organized for our in person meeting. He made us feel at ease about getting married and including our Christian faith at the center of our wedding ceremony. 2020 happened and we ended up pushing our wedding back until October. We had to cancel our "big" wedding again due to everything. We ended up booking him for our future "big" wedding in 2021 and we booked a small package for a micro wedding in Lake Arrowhead (which came with a different officiant). Three days before the wedding we got a potential exposure scare to COVID. I told my vendors and they canceled the event due to the delay in the test results (including the officiant). Jeff also randomly reached out to us three days before our wedding date. He was checking in on us and told us he was available on our original date if needed. Once we found out the negative results it was 1030 PM the day before the wedding and we had no officiant. The next day we planned our last minute wedding in Lake Arrowhead and it was a little chaotic since we didn't have any of our vendors. We had Jeff conduct pre marital counseling, the rehearsal, and the big day. Step 1: Pre Marital Counseling Jeff made us fell very comfortable during the marital counseling sessions. It was a blessing that we found Jeff because originally we were booked with another minister and he bailed on us just months before the wedding- I was a freaking out! He was open to all and any suggestions and the most wonderful part was that he learned German!!! And when I say learned I mean he studied it until he sounded natural! He went that extra mile and put so much effort into it, since I am from Germany and my family was coming in for the wedding without understanding any english. I can not emphasize enough HOW SPECIAL the ceremony was, having Jeff say parts of it in German to include my family and make them feel like they were part of the ceremony!! It was truly a blessing to have him and we are SO thankful that he took the time to learn a new language and go that extra mile for us!! I am not sure any other officiant/reverend would have put that much extra time into this process. 5. Jeff included enough information in the ceremony but kept it short enough to keep our guests interested and engaged (his sense of humor made the ceremony a breeze and SO much fun). Dr. Rev. Jeff did a great job at our wedding in April at Falkner Winery. He is timely, well dressed and gives more instruction than likely any other officiant we've seen or met. And believe me, nervous brides and grooms need all the instruction they can get. We chose him because he made us sure that our wedding ceremony would be 100% 'us' and nothing like a cookie cutter wedding ceremony. Our guest were amused and touched emotionally. I'm certainly no expert on wedding officiants (this was the first/only time I've dealt with one), but I cannot imagine how any could be better than Jeff... We hired Jeff to officiate our wedding ON a hot air balloon. He was super helpful, patient, and accommodating throughout the entire process (bids, discussions/preparations, and the ceremony). Generally, just seems like a great guy, and we're so glad that we found him to officiate our wedding!!! read more
