Where do I start.. I've searched & reached out to many companies for wedding coordination services and I am so happy that I found Ari and her team. My wedding was on 5/6/23 at Europa Village winery in Temecula and contracted with Ari & her team for day of coordination. I met with Ari for the first time via FaceTime and loved her from the start. She provided a thorough overview of her services for the day and eliminated any concerns/hesitations. Throughout the duration of time leading up to the big day, we were having difficulty finding a DJ and officiant. I reached out to Ari and she was able to provide a long list of referrals which ultimately led us to securing a great DJ. This review is way too long overdue. My fiance and I hired Ariana and her team for our July 2022 wedding. I believe we ended up doing her "Day of Coordination" package. From the initial consultation to the last minute of the reception, Ariana was a LIFE SAVER! She was always available to talk, share her expertise and her positivity was radiating. In our first meeting with Ariana, we talked through everything that we thought the day should look like. My fiance shared a Pinterest board, we talked about the look and the feel we wanted and she took it from there and ran with it. The setup and execution of the day was FLAWLESS. Although our venue was INCREDIBLY challenging (I would NEVER recommend Falkner) Ariana and her team did their absolute best for everything to go off without a hitch. There were things that were beyond her control; however, every time there were issues, she was already there to put out the fire. Issues with our venue and their rude coordinator that she solved: - The venue wanted to put me and my party in a bootleg room to look like an animal in a zoo - Food being 15 minutes late (HOW does the venue mess that up?) - Food being cold - The venue getting rid of one of the buffet lines (WITHOUT communicating with us) - A specialty cocktail being made incorrectly (How do you mess up a margarita?) - Appetizers not being made available to us while we were taking pictures After 15+ years of the service industry and executing hundreds of private events, I notice a lot of mistakes (like the venue not knowing where to place a knife on a place setting, or a server smoking in the back, not washing their hands, and smelling like smoke)... but those were all I noticed. I am positive that there were A LOT more hiccups that she smoothed out throughout the entire night. Ariana was literally always 5 steps ahead of what I was thinking. Toward the end of 2021, our venue coordinator was difficult to reach for answers regarding details and logistics of our wedding day. Out of frustration, my husband and I looked into booking a separate wedding coordinator that can help advocate for our needs with the venue and help us figure out important details. We booked Ari for six months of coordination, and we are so happy we did! We met with her in April 2022 and felt like we could finally relax. Ari was attentive to our needs and assured us that she would take care of everything on the big day. She asked us what details were important to us and what our ideal wedding day looked like. Throughout the six months of working with her, she was always available, responded quickly to our questions, and provided referrals for vendors to work with. Ari has strong connections with vendors in the Temecula area, which made our planning process easier. Fast forward to the week before our wedding day and we see dreaded rain in the forecast. We learned that our (fully outdoor) wedding venue did not have a rain plan for events with our large guest count. Ari brought the forecast to our attention and she led the search for large tents to accommodate our wedding along with our venue coordinator. Ari spent several hours calling vendors throughout Southern California to find a stylish outdoor tent that could hold our guests and a dance floor - unfortunately, there were no tents available with any vendors in the area! By Thursday, Ari finally found an amazing deal on a tent with beautiful string lights, drapery, and a dance floor. Her help allowed us to spend the week focusing on other important wedding stuff (packing decor, church wedding) and saved us so much stress. Despite the rain and cold forecast, my husband and I had the wedding of our dreams. Ari's team took care of all our decor and set it up exactly how we wanted - this allowed us to fully relax with family and friends. Following the event, Ari's team packed all of our decor, placed it in our car, and sent us a letter detailing where everything was put away. During the event, Ari's team checked on us and made sure we were comfortable and happy. We are so pleased with Ari's services, our only regret was not booking her sooner, before we secured our venue and vendors. After 6 months of being married, my wife and I still can't get over how much fun we had on our wedding day. It's safe to say that most all of the credit goes to Ari and her team for making sure that day went according to plan, and even when things didn't go as planned, Ari and her team made sure it fit in OUR plans and went as smoothly as we could have ever imagined. I have so much to say about Ariana so let me start with the "long story short" version: Hire Ariana. She will save you time, money, and stress. She is worth every penny and MORE. Here is my full review: I was a very hands on bride who planned to do everything myself. Early on in the planning phase, I realized I will get overwhelmed easily trying to keep track of all the vendors on top of making everything for my wedding. I never dreamed I'd be able to hire a coordinator. I spent several weeks researching coordinators. (Quick tip: don't just pick the first person. You're going to work with this coordinator for months, find someone that you are compatible with.) First time meeting Ari, I KNEW she was going to be perfect for me. I had an unconventional Halloween Wedding idea for the wedding that not many people understood. Ari did and she found me the best vendors for all my needs that also blended perfectly with my theme. I hired Ari more than a year before my wedding. She didn't have to start helping me so early on, but she did. I can't stress this enough; Ariana went above and beyond to help put together my vendors. On top of that, it's obvious she is a true expert. She pointed out so many important details I wouldn't have even known to consider. Prior to the wedding, we met once for an initial meeting and most of our communication was done through email. Ari's communication was perfect for me. For the most part she responded within 24hrs. Faster for more urgent matters, but I always felt comfortable knowing she would definitely be there and not disappear. The week of the wedding, Ari made me feel like I was her only client. She was so attentive to my needs and not only did it make me feel special, but I knew my wedding was in the right hands. During the walk through of the venue, Ari really shined. She knew what to do step by step. Trust me, I thought I had everything thought out and accounted for; nope. But, thank god I had her guiding me. We had issues with the venue double booking a morning event the same day as my evening wedding (The ultimate nightmare right?!) I booked my venue a year and a half in advance, and this other event was only booked a few weeks before. In the end, we were forced to compromise with the use of our venue and the hours we thought we had to set up for the wedding was reduced significantly. Ariana, turned from the sweetest fairy godmother, into a frigging pit bull - And I truly mean this as a compliment!! The venue owners weren't communicating to us and not answering calls, but Ariana was on their butts to get things resolved. On the day of the wedding, the guests of the event that was double booked ended up being extremely rude and forced Ariana and her team to have even less time to set up my wedding. They were not able to do very much throughout the day and in the end, they really had about an hour maybe an hour and a half to set up my whole wedding. Let me say that again: ARIANA AND HER TEAM SET UP MY WHOLE WEDDING IN ABOUT AN HOUR; HOUR AND A HALF AT MOST. (Please don't make her set up your wedding in that short a time. That was truly an impossible task and she only did it because circumstances forced her to.) Shout out to her assistant and her team. Wow. They put together everything so lovely. And when it was time to tear everything down, they were just as quick and efficient. In the end, I was so happy with her service. Hiring Ariana was one of my best wedding planning decisions. On my actual wedding day everything was perfectly organized and all smooth going. I barely had to think about anything as she was moving behind the scenes and meeting with vendors while I was getting my hair and makeup done. September 2018. For many years, I was an event planner (weddings, corporate, and social) for independent companies and hotels/resorts. As a planner, I always told my clients that if they chose to forgo a full-service planner that they should at least get a day-of planner. When it came to my sister's wedding, it was no exception. I did not want our families to spend the "big day" worrying about all the big and little details (and trust me there are more than you might think!). My sister and her now-husband are both engineers and have little-to-no spare time. I wanted to help them fulfill their DIY wedding visions, but also knew we needed to find a planner early...enter Events by Ari. After reviewing several planners in the San Diego area, I realized Ari immediately stood out in several important ways, including: (1) She is extremely RESPONSIVE by phone and email. (4) She is appropriately THOROUGH in her communications. Bride and groom met with Ari at their home (future wedding venue) and decided it was a good fit. She became their day-of planner which included pre-planning emails, a venue site visit, ceremony rehearsal, two onsite assistants on the day of, and general peace-of-mind that she and her team will be there to run the show. Now for the actual wedding day....I AM PRETTY SURE IT WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED WITHOUT ARI, DYLAN, AND RICHARD. They literally saved the day with their calm presence and gentle helping hands. They truly went above and beyond. The wedding was highly DIY (from food & beverage to decor..even the dress was hand made by my mom!). While DIY makes for a beautiful and unique experience, it also means TONS of moving parts, last minute hiccups, fires to put out, and things to remember. The Events by Ari team was able to take charge and pull it together rather seamlessly, even as guests were arriving. We put the full reigns in their hands to make executive decisions where possible, and we couldn't have been happier. I would hire her again IN A HEARTBEAT. The only thing I would do differently is hire Ari as a full service planner, and not just a day of. I am sure we she would have really helped us polish plans for the day. I have planned or been involved in over 120 weddings in my career, and I can tell you it is a different story when it is your own family or your own wedding. A neutral third party to nudge everything in the right direction can MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE.
