I just felt like I had to respond to this latest review that was posted from a supposed guest. As a staff member that day for D'Renae, I can say with out a doubt, Denise handled the entire event with the upmost care for the Bride and Grooms welfare. I know for a fact Denise brought MANY items from her personal warehouse to supplement the décor as I assisted bringing these items down from the top house. I also assisted in putting lights all along the driveway AND put up a fabric wall with lighting to stand behind the sweetheart table. The florist had asked if we could also set up the centerpieces (flowers and candles) which was surprising but we did it. The wedding went off without a hitch! The reception was awesome up until there was a mass power outage in the entire neighborhood. I personally witnessed Denise go to action and immediately start trying to locate a generator. She instructed us to find as many candles as possible to start lighting them....She also had to make a makeshift bussing area for the caterer because there was no light. I saw her drive her car up on the lawn to try and get music from her speakers! The DJ and myself were instructed by her to go to every neighbors house and ask to rent a generator from them! About an hour and 1/2 went by when we suddenly had a moment of power. THEN a huge pop was heard and huge amounts of smoke came from a transformer on the property where the wedding was being held. Again she remained calm and went into action making sure that the house power had been turned off and was in direct communication with SCE and the owners of the property. They had recommended calling the Fire Department but Denise opted to monitor the situation and not cause any more grief to the Bride and Groom. I have worked for many coordinators in the area. Denise is always organized and professional and I have NEVER seen her yell or treat a bride and groom poorly. Her philosophy has always been to take care of them...this is their day. read more

My husband and I chose Denise of D'Renae Events after being a first hand witness to her professionalism and experience. As the maid of honor to my best friend who had hired her in 2012, I was able to see how she worked and what she did to make my friends wedding go off without a hitch! When I later became engaged, my now husband and I knew right away that we had to hire her! We trusted her with EVERY detail of our wedding! She found us our amazingly beautiful private estate venue, our dessert company, caterer and our awesome officient! She was attentive, on top of everything through the whole process and gave me her professional opinion about every choice I made; helping me make all the right decisions when I needed to, even when I thought I knew what I was doing! Once our actual wedding day arrived (Sep. 21, 2013), she made everything flow perfectly smooth. SO smooth in fact, that when the crazy owners of the beautiful venue we rented, snuck onto the property to try to complain about the volume, (before the reception even started) as well as some other things, she dealt with it 100% and my husband and I had no idea that there was ever a problem, not until the next day. It was the most perfect day I could have honestly asked for. Denise and her staff performed beyond our expectations. If you are thinking of hiring a wedding planner, meet Denise one time and you will know her personality and see that she knows what she is doing and I promise she will make your wedding happen exactly as you hoped and dreamed it would be! Our wedding was on May 26th 2012. We decided to have our event at the Humphrey's Estates in Temecula. When deciding on the venue I met Denise with D'Renae who coordinated the weddings there. My husband and I were very pleased with her services. We couldn't ask for anything more. She made the whole process very easy. We needed everything, cake, food, wine, decor, dj, photographer, etc. She did a wonderful job pairing us with all the right vendors with the budget we provided. My husband and I made all the financial decision on everything. She also met with us and the vendors at anytime we needed. We were planning it for a year so there was a lot of communication whether by phone, email or in person. The day of the wedding everything was immaculate. Denise made sure I had everything I needed even food before walking down the isle. She also had an emergency kit of make up, hair, aspirin, things I didn't even think of having. I truly do not know what I would have done without her and her staff. After the wedding she donated all of our flowers to a local senior home for us since we left for our honeymoon. Everyone who was in and attended the wedding were very pleased. I am happy to say it is still the main topic of our conversations with friends. With that being said I recently recommended D'Renae/Denise to a close friend of mine who is getting married next year. I couldn't imagine a wedding without her and now my friend has hired her as well and has been very happy with her. read more

I didn't have the best experience with Denise. Although she did work hard the day of my wedding and did introduce me to 3 amazing vendors (Soiree Designs, Pacific Entertainment and Simply Delicious) On the day of my wedding Denise was picking fights with me all day and making me feel very uncomfortable. At one point she made me cry when she snapped at me after I asked her to keep guests out of the back area where I was prior to the wedding. I had suggested minor changes with having a song being played and she was so irritated with me that I wanted to take a song out (right before our grand entrance) which the DJ was fine with but she walked away from me complaining and rolling her eyes. She got mad at my mother in law for asking for the code to get into the bridal suite where her purse was telling her that she already gave her the code earlier that day. What bothers me is that my guests also noticed her attitude throughout the day/night and kept coming up to us asking who she was. As the night went on I stopped going to her for things and would just coordinate with my DJ Bryan Thrane from Pacific Entertainment because he made me happy and did everything with a smile(I highly recommend him). A few days after the wedding she writes me an email telling me about some tablecloth damages and then sums it up with how much I owe for it. In the end my wedding was beautiful but I could have gone without the attitude that was given to us and our guests from Denise. read more

Denise is a godsend! There is absolutely no way our wedding would have turned out nearly as magical and beautiful without her. We had our wedding at the Humphreys Estate in Temecula. She knows the property like the back of her hand so she helped us visualize the possibilities with the ceremony, the reception, and all the little details in between. Super important because I don't have the strongest aesthetic eye and needed the guidance! She hooked us up with the best vendors in the area, which eliminated us from having to shop around too much or vetting the quality of their services. And as many of the vendors also already knew the Humphreys Estate well, we didn't have to worry about briefing them about the property, showing them where the outlets are, etc. She is well-connected in the area, and was able to get the best deals for us. We don't live in Temecula, but needless to say we were able to count on her on the ground in the months/days leading up to the wedding. And on the wedding day itself, she was quite frankly invaluable! She made several calls that I as the bride just had no time (or mental power) to make and addressed a lot of issues behind the scenes. She was a great timekeeper which was critical given how many things we had jam-packed into an evening. I LOVE Denise and am so thrilled to have had her as part of our special day! read more

Denise is the LITERAL definition of Life Saver!!! I first met with Denise in Jan 2020 and from the very first minute knew I HAD to hire her as my wedding coordinator. I knew her experience in the field as well as her beyond kind, compassionate deamenor would be just delightful to work with. My family was on a VERY TIGHT budget for our original wedding and she did not seem the least bit worried. Upon hearing our proposed budget, she immediately began listing off idea after idea we could do to save money!! Talk about a God send. And then covid hit. Denise was there for it. She checked in on me, personally, before even asking about the wedding. When she heard that we were leaning towards eloping (for the health and safety of everyone involved) she was beyond supportive and ready to hit the ground running. She orchestrated everything the day of and made my wedding day the absolute BEST MOST GORGEOUS day of my life. Denise is worth her weight in gold. She is sweet, funny, very knowledgeable, and will work harder than anyone you know to make your wedding day go off perfectly. I couldn't have gotten through this Covid wedding season without her. Denise was our wedding planner for our wedding last year at a private estate in Murrieta and it would not have turned out as beautiful as it did without her!! She went above and beyond her call of duty and her and her team did an amazing job with everything the day of! She helped us find some great vendors and met with us whenever we needed. Denise did wonderful with the timing and the flow of the wedding ceremony and reception... it was flawless and we had countless people say it was the best wedding they had ever been to! I have had two amazing events coordinated by Wedding and Events by D"Renae. The first was a dinner reception for a group of 30. The layout of the event was extraordinary and our guests loved the intimacy of the reception. We also had a large benefit for 300 guests and D'Renae was there to make sure every detail was attended to. From selection of venue to lighting and helping us select a DJ, caterer, photographer, and wines, they took care of everything. The staff is helpful and friendly.
