I'm really sad to write this review because Eric is a nice guy but he really messed up. We were referred to him from my wedding Venue and everything seemed to be going smoothly! His Prices were high but he made me feel confident that I was going to have my dream Flower arrangements and an amazing bouquet. The flower arrangements turned out ok but my Bouquet was not at all what I wanted. The colors were off and I wanted a flowy more natural looking bouquet and I got a tight ball of flowers. It was a lot smaller than we talked about also. None of the flowers were what he said they would be ether. The photo below will show you what i'm talking about. He was also my wedding officiant. We weren't able to get ahold of him before the wedding to talk about the ceremony. He completely skipped our moment to read our vows to each other. I was DEVASTATED. We have been together for 9 years so we had a lot to say before we were married. AND that's not all!! He also put the wrong date on our Marriage certificate! We met Erick at a Kiss the Bride Expo. From the very beginning he was such a joy to work with. We were so blown away by everything that he did for the wedding. We had our wedding in November at Wedgewood in Fallbrook. We met with Erick in May and went over everything we liked with him. We kept in touch with him and Zobbie his assistant through our planning. I didn't have a set idea of how I wanted my bouquet or center pieces to look, but I trusted his judgement on what looked best. Everything came out beautiful!!! We had our bouquets, archway piece, flower girl headband, center pieces and flower for our cake all done by Erick. They all came out beautiful. The florist was the last of my vendors for me to book because I was TERRIFIED to find out how much flowers were going to cost us. I reached out to our wedding coordinator Sarah at Peltzer for a recommendation, she gave me Eriks name and information. Erik and I texted and scheduled a date and time to discuss my vision. We spoke for about an hour a few nights later as I rambled off some half assed idea of what I was looking for thinking there is no way he is picking up what I'm puttin down. He then told me the name of all the roses I sent him pictures of (I had never heard of most of them) and he gave me some ideas how I could SAVE money (yes I said SAVE). I wanted ALL roses with some eucalyptus. After our long conversation (he was such a delight to speak to) I held my breath as he gave me my total.... I was in shock! The total was about $1000 less then I had imagined spending. I sent him the down payment the same week. The day of our wedding November 2nd, Erik showed up and gave me a huge hug like we had been friends forever, then he started to unload the arrangements, bouquets, etc... I almost lost it, these were the most beautiful flowers and arrangements I have ever seen. The girls LOVED their bouquets and to this day we are still getting compliments on the flowers. I could not have asked for a better florist, he listed to my ideas and brought them to life on the most important day of our lives. We had a pretty flower heavy wedding, especially for the middle of Winter. Erick was great every step of the way. We met him at a bridal expo in Temecula and then had a very long initial planning phone call to plan everything out. We got bouquets, table flowers, center pieces, garlands, boutonnieres, flower crowns, and a couple large pieces for the arch we got married under. Needless to say that's a lot of flowers and Erick arranged everything beautifully. The flowers were fresh, they smelled great, and they were gorgeous. My wife's bouquet was one of our favorite pieces. We added the flower crowns only about a month before the wedding and Erick was very nice and flexible regarding any changes. After our ceremony he actually moved over several of the flower pieces to our reception area, which I didn't even think was possible, and it made everything so much easier and that much nicer. Erick actually also served as our officiant and also did a fantastic job with that as well. Having him do both roles was actually quite nice and he had amazing flexibility being the officiant as well being able to make a change even right before the ceremony because we had to cut something. My first impression of Erick was GREAT! I was so excited to have him as our florist AND our officiant. He was great on the phone and was very confident in making the bouquets I wanted where other florists were trying to modify them here and there. Also, the prices could not be beat. There was really no reason to continue shopping around after speaking with him. When it came time to pay my final balance I continued to try and contact them to pay. They kept saying it was okay and that they would take it at a later time. It took a quite a few phone calls over a course of a couple of weeks to finally get payment through, but not until after he provided "the news." Three weeks before my wedding Erick said that he had "an emergency" and would not be able to officiate. The flowers would still be delivered and he would still be assembling them as he wouldn't be going out of town for his emergency until the day of. Initially, I felt bad for him and whatever he was going through but was relieved that he provided the work in finding back up officiants I could choose from. As days went on and I replayed the conversation in my head I knew something was fishy. I decided to do some research and found out that he had entered into a fitness competition the day of my wedding and decided that was more important. Reminder, I had already booked him for my wedding 7-8 months out and he decided within that time he had other arrangements he decided to make. I was content with my flowers and with the last minute officiant but the way he went about changing his plans really left ill feelings. I had talked him up so much and was recommending the business to any and everyone I knew but that quickly changed. I would not refer this business to anyone based on the lack of professionalism and not sticking to contracts. read more

I had a beautiful Spring wedding reception in beautiful Temecula Wine Country. Because the scenery was already beautiful I only wanted a pop of color! My wedding planner actually recommended Erick and his wife at BELLA FLORA. It was a great experience from the first meeting to actually seeing my wedding bouquet. Erick took the time to meet me and find out what flowers and colors I liked. He gave us exactly what I envisioned. The center pieces, cake flowers,bouquets and ceremony flowers simply looked Amazing! Although I had some changes happen at the last minute Erick was very accommodating(made extra center pieces). All of our flowers where fresh and lively moreover the prices where very fair (they work with any budget). It's always hard to choose a wedding vendor, because of course on your special day you have this vision and you want to be sure it comes out how you like. Bella Fora did an amazing job at just that. We hired Bella Flora to do our wedding flowers. Bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, centerpieces, pergola for ceremony, mason jars for the aisle, everything seemed to be fine until the day of the wedding. For starters the flowers came 2 hours late. 2 hours!!! All of the pre-ceremony pictures were rushed. that along was disappointing. My grandmother was supposed to have a corsage, but instead a boutonniere was sent. I did mention that the other grandmother was not going to be able to attend the wedding, so I'd like to have a boutonniere instead for one of the kids. Maybe I was not fully clear about it, but I did also ask for the most updated invoice as well , which was never provided. Moreover, the kids boutonnieres were cheaper that than the corsages and I was never approached on how we were going to work out the difference in price, either with more flowers or the money back. The bridesmaids bouquets were supposed to be different from the bride's bouquet. To me and my bridesmaids the bouquets look all the same. The only way we could differentiate mine from the bridesmaids was because it was a little bigger but the same. Lastly, I was told by the vendor that the staff was responsible for the clean up of all the flowers. Well, the pergola was never removed from the gazebo. We had to remove it from the gazebo the next morning along with the mason jars and the tulle from the isle. Luckily, mu husband and I spent the night at Ponte in and were able to remove all of the items previously mentioned; otherwise the winery would've charged us $350 for the clean up. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because the centerpieces were beautiful. Otherwise, I wouldn't have done that. I tried to reach out the vendor by email prior to this posting, but never heard back from them. Needless to say, we were not happy nor satisfied with the services provided. We will not use Bella Flora WED/ Epic flowers services again. read more

We booked Bella Flora W.E.D. as our florist for our wedding on 3/21/15 and couldn't be happier with the outcome! Erick understood the vision I wanted for our wedding day, and executed it perfectly. I showed him a few pictures of what I wanted, and he went above and beyond that. My bouquet was romantic, woodsy, and had the anemones that I most definitely wanted. The altar arrangements and centerpieces were breathtaking. He took our plain little cutting cake to a whole new level with the cake flowers! And the best thing is that the flowers lasted all day with very minimal wilting, and we were able to take a couple of the arrangements home where they lasted days! Not to mention they also smelled wonderful. Erick had great communication with us, and never once did I have a question left unanswered. His pricing is very reasonable and he is willing to work with you to get to a budget you're comfortable with. We also had some last minute changes, like adding a couple of centerpieces and subtracting the flower girl crowns we initially agreed on, and he was very flexible and said it was not a problem. We had multiple delivery and pick up locations which he worked out and we got our flowers on time with no issues. He made our wedding day stress-free when it came to the florals, and I can't thank him enough for the wonderful job he did. I am still staring at pictures of my bouquet up to now! We had Erik for our wedding on July 14th. He came with our Wedgewood venue and I couldn't have been happier! He took the time to sit down with us in his own home at our convenience. He gave us a history and you could tell he had a passion for his job and such a love for what he does. He asked what I wanted and what our colors were. We had a package deal and I told him I wanted orchids but knew they were typically more money. He said he could easily work orchids into our flowers. He had several examples of our color scheme and gave us a break down of what it would look like with the orchids as our colors and everything else white to help it pop. It was stunning. I would warn not to be fooled by the above and beyond sales pitch that Erick gives on the onset. I was referred to Erick by my friend and like one of the other reviewers mentioned, he seemed to be a delight in the beginning. He took my deposit, and we continued to work some through email, although his responses took longer and longer once he got my deposit. I regularly had to text him to ask him to reply to my emails. I finally did get a response. While he says he doesn't have a minimum, when he saw it wasn't going to be a huge event, he started disengaging more and more. He didn't want to meet me at the venue because he said it was a 90 minute drive for him. I said I couldn't have a florist going in cold and not understanding the vision. He reluctantly agreed. A few more emails passed and I asked to see some examples of flowers. He told me he works out of his home and doesn't have any inventory to show. So then *I* had to start doing the research with his wholesale website. I then started trying to think outside the box with vases and candles and bouquets and I got a text that he didn't think he could make me happy and would give me my deposit back. I don't know about you, but when someone accepts a deposit and holds onto it for over a month, thats basically a contract / commitment. I was shocked and told him I would have my fiance contact him for reimbursement because I just couldn't deal with his lack of professionalism any longer. When my fiance tried to call him, he replied with a text that he was busy. Eventually he called him and did refund the deposit. After all the shenanigans, I am sure he did us a favor by bailing on us, and this is a blessing in disguise. Please don't be fooled if he replies to this review with how sad he is and some excuse or defense - this is really what happened. read more

My floral on my wedding day exceeded my expectations. I knew that Erick would do an amazing job but he took my inspiration pictures that I sent him and made them a reality. I got married on 10-23-16 and still have my bridal bouquet in my fridge because I cannot part with it, its absolutely gorgeous. We had our wedding in October 2015. Throughout the process of meetings with Erick leading up to our wedding date, we always felt assured and comfortable with Erick. He was always very receptive and helpful, with all the stress of planning a wedding and trying to stay within budget it was a refreshing feeling for sure. Leading up to the weeks before the wedding Erick had some logistic issues with getting the flowers to the wedding group, to the church and then setting up the reception venue. In brief bouquets/boutonnieres had to be delivered to brides group who were getting ready at my house two hours before the wedding for pictures and video, then the church had to be set up but would have to wait after another wedding before us, then would have to drive the flowers from the church to the reception venue. We understood his concern and how much waiting and driving it would take and even discussed the possibility of having someone in my wedding pick the flowers up from the church and take them to the reception. On the last meeting we had with Erick, the biggest issue was again the logistic issue, and again we felt like Erick was there to save us more stress when he said not to worry about it, that he would take care of it and that he would figure it out (what a relief!!)...Then our wedding day came and 1.5hrs before our wedding in I get a phone call from my soon to be wife that Erick would not be delivering the flowers to the wedding group because he did not want his delivery guy (which turns out its his wife) wait that long, WTF!!! Besides been rude and short to my wife, I was told by him i needed to go pick them up my self!!! because there was no way he would have his "driver" wait that long...I couldn't even think straight while i was hearing this guy speak. So i drove 35 miles to Menifee to pick up the flowers my self (didnt want to stress my soon to be wife even more). Upon loading the flowers on to my truck 1hr before my own wedding i couldn't help noticing how wilted the flowers looked, i even asked the photographer to take some close ups in case i wanted to pursue legal action later. Erick was not there to even hand me the bouquets, his wife helped me cram the flowers inside my truck and haul butt to deliver them... my self. I delivered the flowers to one of the brides maids and left to get ready for the ceremony. Minutes before the wedding Erick's wife was there and was very very helpful with setting everything up, I truly do thank her for that. Then I took quick a look at the church to see the flowers and couldn't help notice the main flower urns at the altar were BLACK!! I mean they stood out like a sore thumb, the altar looked like a funeral (very depressing) We we were very specific on the color having to be white, when i asked Erick's wife about them she said she made an "executive decision" to use black because they looked better in the church, wow! I couldn't believe what i was hearing again. How could she have known without ever seen the church? Out of all the people we hired for our wedding...from photo, video, music, venue, priest, limo/driver, DJ, we only regret hiring Bella Flora to do our wedding. We should've gone with Rick at Arrangement Gallery in Hemet. This didn't ruin our big day of course, we had a beautiful wedding and every one stepped up big time specially our photographer and priest, they were a real blessing. I just want to say I never talked to Erick after the wedding and decided it wasn't worth it trying to sue, Please do your homework when picking a florist. read more
