They even allowed our dog to come in and be a part of the ceremony. The whole team, Gina, Brandon, and Curtis. Were the ones that helped the most. I wanted to write this review even though we had a Veteran Funeral Reception and not a wedding. We worked with Gina from the start and I cannot explain how uncomfortable it is to request a quote for services being that our family member had not passed yet. But Gina was very sensitive about our request and make the entire process pleasant and so much easier to manage. All our questions were answered and our requests were accommodated within budget. The days leading up to the event date were hectic but between Gina, Jemaya, and Brandon, it was smooth sailing. We were allowed to take our decorations the evening before and set up early morning the day of. Day of event, most of our guests arrived earlier than expected after the funeral services (hot day) and were greeted with cold beverages and bar services while the sitting area was finishing up and the food was being set up. Gina kept a good distance throughout our event and always checked in on us, which I greatly appreciated. I have to give a shout out to Brandon, I had some issues setting up a slide show in the bar area and he stood with me and helped figure it all out, I am so grateful for that! David at the bar was a delight, he treated our family politely and in return, we kept him very busy. The only reason why I gave 4 out of 5 starts was that the chicken we had that day was pretty dry, I heard that around the tables. But that is my only complaint, not too bad if you ask me. I am the twin sister and maid of honor to the bride, who chose this venue for her wedding (occurred a few months ago). One star for the food -- it was tasty and they were accomodating with pretty severe food allergies. One star for being able to follow detailed written and diagramed directions on setting up the decor. Minus 3 stars for service-- It is severely lacking and turned a wonderful event into an extremely stressful and terrible experience for the bridal party. To start off, the bridal suite is ugly -- it's just a sad locker room with an old beat up couch not worth taking fake getting ready photos in. Rude GM, Jemaya (dark haired dark skinned lady) kicked bridal party out of suite minutes before the ceremony. Bride was never informed that suite had to be cleared out before ceremony beforehand. I missed being there to assist the bride (my twin sister) during her look because of that. Jemaya rudely demanded we take the bouquets too, despite our arms being full of kids and bags running to cars while in heels. She needs to be retrained, get an attitude adjustment or get fired. Her rudeness was uncalled for. Amanda (the main coordinator) did not take care of the bridal party or groomsmen. She was no where to be seen except twice-- once before the ceremony and once in the bridal suite. I had to pick up her slack while running around handing out boutonnieres and direct family and answer vendor questions. Waitstaff did not refill water pitchers at the table despite being asked twice by a bridesmaid and the mother of the bride. MOH and bridesmaids had to fill water pitchers from station. Guests needs were not met -- the only thing they needed was water pitchers to be refilled and it wasn't done. One waiter decanted leftover waters into one pitcher and tried to hand it off to the Mother of the Bride. WTFBBQ?! The banquet master was nowhere to be seen and coordinator left after the ceremony. There was no plate or forks for the Bride and groom during the cake cutting ceremony. And they took so long to serve the cake that a lot of guests left. If you book this wedgewood, be aware that the staff will be incompetent. Hire your own day of coordinator. read more

Planning was the easy part and the venue is beautiful, but day of my wedding was needlessly stressful. I got married here in May and I was happy the staff managed to follow the detailed diagrams for decor and that they accomodated severe allergies. I used outside vendors for flowers, cake, photographer, and videographer. Visually, everything looked stunning! However, I found service to be severly lacking. My bridesmaids had to be the ones that made sure everyone got the proper boutineeres/corsages and direct family to the ceremony area. Minutes before the ceremony my bridesmaids were kicked out of the bridal lockeroom by the manager Jamaya (something I was not made aware of having severely limited access to when I booked the venue). They were rudely told to clear the area and to pick up everything when there clearly wasn't enough hands to do so. Children were also in tow and heavy bags and flowers. Jamaya was very rude and unkind -especially to my mother who only spoke politely to her- everyone was upset. Also, this move made my beloved sister miss carrying my train for my first look with the groom. I had a traditional Vietnamese gown I was supposed to change into later that night after cake cutting. With no bridal specific room to change in, my photographer had to control traffic to the restrooms later that night so I could change there. It was a nightmare. The 4pm ceremony had went by smoothly, fortunately, but mine and my husband's dinner and the special bread we provided was cold. We did not mind so much as long as the guests were taken care of, but my guests later told me they were extremely thirsty as pitchers of water were not refilled. My mom, MOH, and bridesmaids had to refill the pitchers after a server just grabbed random half filled pitchers from another table and decanted it into a different table's pitcher. It gets worse because during cake cutting, no plates or forks were provided and we had to send a bridesmaid to search for some as the Coordinator Amanda was nowhere to be seen (I only saw her once at arrival and once before ceremony) and banquet master was unavailable. Someone in charge should always be available in case misshaps occur - this was not the case. The serving of the cake also took so long a lot of my guests left without having any. This was very dissapointing because I attended a friend's Wedgewood Wedding in Fallbrook a few years ago and they impressed me so much I was expecting the same level of professionalism and service. I am so disappointed. Other than the beauty of the venue and ease of planning, I would not recommend Wedgewood Menifee Lakes Country Club to anyone unless they knew the risks they would be taking with the rude manager, poor service, and lack of bridal locker room day of. Be wary of the 5 star reviews before actual weddings occur at this venue. read more

My husband and I recently got married at the wedgewood menifee lakes on September 30th. We are extremely happy that we went with this venue. Throughout the entire wedding planning process the staff was there to answer any questions that we had or ease any concerns. Every staff member we encountered was fabulous from the coordinators to the banquet staff. Our wedding day was so perfect and I couldn't have imagined it going any better. This venue made all of our expectations come to life! With that being said, I will add that I only had one negative experience when it came to this venue. We added a lot of upgrades to our wedding package, including fabric that hangs from the ceiling (chiffon draping) just to add a little something extra to decorate the room. The upgrade was around $350, which I was willing to pay. My coworker got married at this venue a month before I did so we were always comparing packages and talking about our experiences with different venders. She mentioned to me after her wedding day that the fabric was up on the day of her wedding, and she did not have it on her package. She didn't want me spending almost 400 dollars on something they gave her for free. This didn't sit well with me. I asked one of the coordinators about and she said it just depends on if the florist takes it down or not the day of the wedding. I expressed to her that the company should not be charging customers who are already spending thousands of dollars there for something that not everyone has to pay for and she told me she would take it off of our package, but could not guarantee it would be up the day of our wedding. We took it off and it as indeed up the day of. I just think that future couples should know about this so that they are not spending an extra $400 dollars on something that is essentially free. Overall my experience with wedgewood menifee lakes was extremely positive and I would like to thank all of the staff members for making the day so stress free for my husband and I. This place and its management are amazing. We originally had our wedding scheduled for early May and had to postpone to Oct, 2020. During this process Wedgewood was extremely helpful, and their service had already been stellar even before the pandemic. Due to continued restrictions, our wedding had to be done outdoors only, and this location does not have the right set up for that. So Eddie, their manager reached out and spent time giving us all the options so that we can have our wedding this year. Without hesitation and without extra fees, he was able to relocate our wedding to another venue that that had outdoor setup and had the same dates available, all for the agreed prices from before. They had options to postpone to next year as wells Menifee Lakes was our first choice for a venue, and for those of you who are considering a wedding in 2021, we highly recommend this location. Their main hall has a beautiful chandelier that just adds a very rustic look to your ceremony. We are sad we could not have our wedding there, but are so excited and happy they were so flexible with changes due to COVID!! My husband and I had booked Wedgewood almost two years in advance. We loved the services that they offered and how flexible they were whenever we wanted to change things up. The communication, which is an absolute must, was on point. I hate to bombard people with questions, but Gina, my coordinator was so insistent that no matter the time or day just send them an email and they will get back to me. Once she said this, I wasted no time. Every time I had a question or concern I would email them and as promised they returned my email within a day or two. They were so helpful in giving recommendations for vendors, even looking into vendors that were not apart of their list. They researched for me and communicated any changes or challenges that either have emerged or might possibly happen. I appreciate their honesty and their commitment to make this day the best day ever. Their staff was always kind and they make you feel like family. I would say that the only concern I had was the hand off from the coordinator to the Banquet Captain, Curtis. Up until the day of, I had no idea who this person was and was worried that we might not get along or his vision might differ from mine. What I didn't know was that he knew exactly what was up from the beginning. He was an absolute charm and went above and beyond to ensure the night went as expected if not better. We originally booked with Wedgewood at Menifee Lakes because of the great prices. With that being said, we didn't have the highest expectations for the venue even though we knew it would be great. We got married on 9/4 and when we arrived at the venue we could not have been more pleased. The venue looked absolutely stunning!! It exceeded our expectations by a long shot and everyone had been telling us how much they loved our venue!! Jennifer was so helpful throughout the entire process!! I am so grateful that we had her as our wedding coordinator! The only issue I had with the all inclusive package (and this is no fault of the venue) was some of the vendors were not the most reliable. The florist was very difficult to communicate with throughout the wedding planning process and the transportation service was extremely rude when I called to book a limo. I did book through the florist and the arrangements were beautiful although my flowers were delivered an hour late. As far as transportation goes, I went with a different company. I visited Menifee Lakes twice and was working with a coordinator on site in regards to planning a wedding, at the first visit everything seemed great and everyone seemed very nice. I returned a second time to look over dates and discuss changes, never did I expect for the coordinator to have a completely different demeanor the second time. The way I was spoken to was completely uncalled for, I felt as though I was being spoken down to. Her delivery could have been a little more empathetic, and she could have approachedl the situation differently. We recently got married here in March, and are so happy that we chose this venue. I was on a budget and with this venue, I was able to afford a wedding in a Southern California. I started planning my wedding very late, only about 5 months out from the wedding date. I had both the ceremony and reception here. Jennifer and Amanda were extremely patient and accommodating of all my endless questions & changes. On the day everything went off without a hitch. Dj Tom was great and was able to accommodate my requests for ethnic music, the banquet staff and captain were efficient and friendly and all the staff polite. They remembered to give me the top layer of the cake to take home!The food was delicious! The venue appointed day of event coordinator was so sweet and accommodating and was able to work well with my personal wedding coordinator for the day ( my good friend) and get all my decorations set out. One of the promotions I used was day of event coordination, which I highly recommend. This way you don't have to stress, the day goes so fast that you just want to enjoy every minute. I did choose outside vendors for my cake and floral to keep within my budget. I did choose a one hour hosted premium bar and paid for an extra bartender and chose the 6 appetizers. They had complimentary tea and coffee throughout ,and I added fruit punch. They have 4 appetizers stationed and 2 are served by waitstaff. My guests really enjoyed themselves from the cocktail hour all the way to the dancing. The only thing I was less than thrilled with was the dressing room, which is the women's locker room. It's a far walk and downstairs and not that pretty. Since I knew about this from my tour, I decided to use the upstairs ladies bathroom as my dressing area. I came to venue already dressed but brought a cute stool and since the area is huge, myself and the bridesmaids, mom, friends etc had plenty of space to freshen up. I am beyond grateful to work with such amazing people for my upcoming wedding. They truly have been going above and beyond to make my special day amazing, especially during these crazy times. My wedding is scheduled to happen in just about 2 weeks. Because of the new restrictions we found out our ceremony was a go, but our reception could not happen at Menifee Lakes. The GM has been in constant communication with me even on his days off. Responded to all my call and emails within minutes. He truly cares about making sure your wedding is one of the happiest days of your life. He goes out of his way to make sure everything is scheduled to be 100% perfect. We got a call this week explaining how sorry he was that all this was going on and let me know he called other Wedgewood venues and proposed to us that we could move our venue to another location and have our ceremony and reception at no extra costs! Our wedding is just days away and Eddy is making sure this transition goes as smooth as possible with no added headaches to us! I cannot explain how much this means to us. As we all know, COVID-19 has affected many wedding plans and the wedding industry itself, and my fiancé and I are one of many couples who decided to postpone our wedding because of the virus. My family and friends are coming in from overseas and because of the pandemic, they are no longer able to enter the U.S. There was no way we were going to get married without my family there, so we told Wedgewood that we wanted to postpone our August wedding to 2021. At first we were nervous that Wedgewood would not allow us to postpone because August was still so far away, but Eddie, the general manager, was incredibly understanding of our concerns and situation. He worked his magic and was able to postpone our wedding to 2021! Even before the pandemic began, the Menifee Lakes team was on top of their game with the planning process and we are so very thankful that they are still dedicated to providing us our dream wedding amidst the unknown. Was a guest/moh at a wedding a few weeks ago. The venue was really beautiful! The food was actually surprisingly good for a wedding and the staff was quick to fill waters and clear dishes. Jemaya was the coordinator and she was exceedingly organized and friendly. She helped my daughter with her flower girl duties and even told a gate crasher to move along. Prepare for an essay, because I LOVE WEDGEWOOD WEDDINGS MENIFEE LAKES!!! First of all, I grew up in Menifee and didn't even know that there was a wedding venue so close by! Being so close to beautiful (and pricey) Temecula wine country, this place is a hidden gem. It's part of a country club, yes, but the event space feels like a cozy cabin with the amazing wooden ceiling and exposed beams, and the eye-catching chandelier as a centerpiece. I fell in love. This is great for brides who don't want the typical ballroom or rustic barn :) there is also a fountain out front that's great for pictures, and the cutest market lights hung up on the back patio. Parking is on-site and is a short walk to indoors (great for us as it rained on our January wedding day!). The entry and bar area were spacious, and allowed for guests to spread out comfortably (I had around 120 guests). This venue location was also cheaper compared to other local options (again, Temecula is very expensive -- remember my guest count!) and they offer a military discount. My husband and I were pretty close to our budget, only a few hundred dollars over! Wedgewood gives great customizable packages that you can change up until a few days before. That proved to be a great feature as when you're planning certain circumstances can and DO arise. For us, we did choose outside vendors for invites, flowers, cake, and photography. I should also mention that we only had our reception there as our ceremony was held somewhere else. But we did include an extra entree, added appetizers during cocktail hour, and paid for an open California bar for the whole event. And everyone loved the food, which was really important for me. Now, a few shoutouts for the staff. These people made our day amazing and just took our experience to a whole new level. First and foremost is Jemaya, the general manager. She is kind, understanding, and professional. She is the biggest reason why I chose this venue, and here's why: Wedgewood as a company has a policy where you put a deposit down to reserve your date, as they only do one event in a day. If you change your date, you don't get your deposit back. Our ceremony venue, which was a church, was unable to confirm our wedding date for us when they previously assured us that they would. We of course did not want to reserve the reception space without getting confirmation at the church, so this was extremely stressful. We go to Jemaya and tell her our dilemma, and she tells us that she will reserve our (hopeful) date and that if it changed that we wouldn't lose our deposit. HOW AWESOME IS THAT!? She lifted so much stress off our shoulders. Luckily we soon confirmed that date with the church, but the fact that she was so willing to help us as her clients just made us realize how dedicated she was to giving us the best day of our lives. Jemaya, if you ever see this, thank you a thousand times. You are a life saver. I also want to shout out our day-of coordinators Alex and C (I'm so sorry but I forget her name, I just know it started with a C) for making everything run smoothly, for our banquet captain Curtis (who brought this hungry bride appetizers while we waited for our grand entrance!), and our outstanding DJ Tom, who had all our guests dancing all night long (seriously, he was the best. Definitely knows what he's doing!!). I am seriously the luckiest bride because I chose this venue. Please go and give them a look, I promise you won't regret it. read more

For the money I spent, I expected much more. Location is beautiful. Vendors are mediocre. Make sure you take your Wedgewood contract with you when meeting with vendors; Wedgewood does not communicate clearly what has been purchased in your banquet/wedding contract to its vendors. Food was disappointing. We paid for an upgrade for the prime rib carving station and the meat was raw. We had to send the meat back to be cooked more while our guests were waiting to eat. Wait staff again was mediocre. They did not follow our party schedule and began pouring champagne for our toast an hour ahead of time and then told our guests not to drink it until it was time for the toast. How do you pour champagne and then tell someone not to drink it for an hour? I could go on some more. Location is good, but not problem free. read more

What a great venue and staff. I attended a wedding here in April ... and it was sooo nice. The venue and decor was beautiful... simple yet elegant. The coordinator, Jemaya, and her team were THEEE BEST. She were very knowledgeable, organized and on point. The wedding itself was so much fun, dinner was delicious ... kudos to the chef! The wait staff was very attentive and polite. And when the end of the night came no one wanted to leave. If you are looking for a venue... PICK THIS ONE! May not have been my wedding but I would definitely recommend WEDGEWOOD WEDDINGS MENIFEE LAKES! read more

Had our wedding a couple weeks ago and people are still talking about it. Even though it is a little far and not too many hotel options nearby, the venue is perfect. Working with Jennifer was the best experience ever and if I could do it all over again, I would only change the theme. The food from what I heard was amazing and everyone had such a great time. Its extremely affordable and I love their customizable packages. Hands down best service EVER! I highly recommend this venue and will miss Jennifer and Alex. read more
