We didn't like how some of the venues we toured had certain areas still open to the public during the ceremony and cocktail hour, so the complete privacy that The Orchard provided was perfect. It was already beautiful when we toured it out of season, but it became even more beautiful when it bloomed for the season. One of the main reasons we chose this venue over our runner-up was the fact that we could see every guest from any angle of the venue, rather than people hiding in nooks and crannies. From the first tour all the way until the tear-down at the end of our event, the Orchard team was nothing short of exceptionally professional, accommodating, communicative, and just simply amazing. Krystle and Anissa were so quick to respond to any questions we had throughout the year of planning via text and email and so flexible in letting us give our wedding party and families our own self-tour of the venue on multiple occasions. We received so many comments from guests expressing how impressed they were with the organization and seamless flow of the ceremony and reception events, so shoutout to Brandon, Will, and the banquet staff for that! The vendors contracted with the venue are stellar as well. We had a separate company (not contracted with Wedgewood) come set up an unattended photo booth in the gazebo, so leading up to the wedding I had a minor concern that the Wi-Fi would possibly not reach there, but that went smoothly just like everything else! Kevin was our day-of coordinator, and we truly have nothing but never-ending praises for him! He is so personable, kind, generous, calm, reliable, and he took clear, detailed notes on every little thing we wanted for our special day, especially with the unique aspects of our wedding. Kevin was also flexible with all the adjustments we made between the initial and final planning meeting, as well as the day of with having to push the schedule a little bit back for the photo/video team. Seeing everything I envisioned come to life thanks to Kevin was so magical. With an invite count of 199 guests and an attendance of 164 guests, we had 5 tables (~40-45 people) in the back area during reception that felt a bit far from the sweetheart table, so I would say this venue is ideally for a guest count of up to 120. But if you have more guests than that, I wouldn't make this a deal breaker. It was lively but not cramped, we had a great time, and those guests had no problem being closest to the bar hehe Genuinely from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU Orchard Wedgewood team for going above and beyond to make our dream wedding day absolute perfection!! Many of our guests said this was the best wedding they've attended, and I think that speaks volumes about what a stellar venue and team this is. I regret hiring Mariposa Content…read more It's been over two weeks and Fabiola hasn't replied to my last email I sent her on July 19th. I was planning to follow up but considering it's been almost 3 months since our event and I've consistently had to follow up to get a response, she's taken up enough of my time for the $200 dollar partial refund she offered. I wasn't planning on leaving a review, but since Fabiola blocked us from being able to view her stories on Instagram while trying to resolve the issues we had professionally, I felt compelled to share my experience. To start on a positive note, our initial phone conversations were pleasant, and on the day of our event she seemed to be attentive. All the issues we had with Fabiola at Mariposa Content Co could have been easily avoided. Unfortunately the issues we had with her came down to delayed responses, poor communication, a poor judgement call, failure to expedite the delivery of our external hard drive, lack of professionalism and poor editing work. Almost three months later and we still haven't been able to resolve and close this project. At this point, I've given her plenty of time to resolve this and not once has she apologized for all the inconveniences nor admitted to any wrongdoing. The contract states that the raw content would be delivered within 24-72 hours and edited videos within 3-4 days. Neither deadline was met. After reviewing the original gallery, I discovered that approximately half of the captured content was missing and had to be provided later after multiple follow-ups. The raw content gallery was the primary reason we hired her, so this was a significant issue. Of the edited videos included in our package, one planned video was never filmed, and another contained obvious editing flaws. The situation became even more frustrating when delivery of the external hard drive was delayed for two weeks over a relatively small shipping fee of $50.75 she wanted upfront, further postponing access to all the footage. Even after receiving the drive, renamed files, duplicate filenames, and missing files made it impossible for me to independently verify that 100% of our content was delivered. I was willing to resolve the matter through a reasonable partial refund, but we were unable to reach an agreement. The core part of her service is to deliver all the raw content captured and she couldn't even to that. One of our main deliverables was supposed to feature photos displayed inside the ring effect. Instead, there's no photo in parts of the video and a noticeable green-screen border was left visible around the edges, making the final video appear unfinished and poorly edited. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Fabiola or Mariposa Content Co.

I explained that I was a huge Audie Murphy fan and just had to check this place out after reading about it online. He immediately lit up and said, "Well, now, because of that, I will personally give you a tour and the backstory on how this all came about!" He introduced himself as Chet and spent a good part of an hour telling my friend and I how he and Tom built this place with discarded material from Audie Murphy's own ranch after the original structures were torn down. The property is rented for weddings, receptions, hootenannies, you name it! My only regret is that I don't live closer to take advantage of this amazing place. I'm so glad we had the opportunity to check it out and that we had Chet as a guide who made the place personal. I think Audie himself would be right pleased!

Two weeks ago, I had the pleasure of getting married at Harmony Estate, and I truly wish I could go…read moreback and relive the entire weekend over and over again! I actually found Harmony Estate by chance through a wedding photographer's Instagram. It was the last venue we toured after a long weekend of searching, and they really did save the best for last. The property is tucked into what feels like a residential area, but once you drive through the gates, it's absolutely beautiful. We wanted a venue where our family and friends could stay together and where everything could happen in one place, and Harmony Estate had that and so much more. The house has four bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, large living spaces, a huge kitchen, entertainment areas, and separate bride and groom getting-ready spaces. It isn't overly fancy, but it was clean, comfortable, spacious, and perfect for what we needed. One of the biggest reasons we chose Harmony Estate was how much is included. Catering, plated dinner, planner, day-of coordinator, photo booth, bartenders, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception space, and even the option to have your rehearsal dinner on property are all available. We could also bring our own alcohol, which was a HUGE plus. The only vendors we had to hire separately were our florist, photographer, and videographer. Having almost everything handled through the venue was such a stress reliever. Another huge selling point was being able to party until midnight! So many venues around San Diego/Temecula/Murrieta have to end around 10 because of noise restrictions. Since the reception is inside the barn, we were able to keep dancing until 12. That last hour dancing with my husband and best friends was honestly one of my favorite parts of the entire weekend. The property itself is gorgeous. Even though we unfortunately had a heat wave, by our 5 PM ceremony the trees provided a lot of shade. The waterfall makes such a beautiful ceremony backdrop, cocktail hour in the backyard feels intimate and homey, and the barn is truly the star of the show. The chandeliers were exactly what I had envisioned for our wedding, and we loved mixing farm tables with round tables. I was a little nervous beforehand because I hadn't seen many reviews mentioning the food or DJ, and music and food are two of my husband's favorite things. BOTH blew us away. The DJ was amazing, friendly, and happy to switch things up whenever we wanted. And the FOOD!! The chef absolutely killed it all weekend. We had tacos at the rehearsal dinner, sliders, meatballs, bruschetta, and ceviche during cocktail hour, and steak with chicken Alfredo for dinner. Everything was SO good. The steak was like butter, and people are still texting us about the food! The staff was also incredible. Owners Gilbert and Cassie were so kind and easy to communicate with through GroupMe. Renee, the property manager, was the person who originally showed us around and helped sell us on the venue--he is unbelievably kind and helpful. Brittany, our planner, helped us plan everything and kept the day running smoothly. Lorrayne, our day-of coordinator, was by my side throughout the wedding day and was AMAZING. She calmed my nerves, advocated for me when I wanted my hair changed, and made sure we were taken care of. After the ceremony, the staff even brought my husband and me food and drinks so we could have a quiet moment together. My biggest recommendation: BOOK THE HOUSE FOR THE DAY AFTER YOUR WEDDING! The pool is unreal, and we spent basically the entire next day in it. It was the perfect way to end the weekend. I genuinely cannot recommend Harmony Estate enough. We loved every second of our wedding weekend, and this property will always hold such a special place in our hearts. We already hope we can come back someday for a family reunion--and, of course, spend another day in that pool!

However, I am leaving this review to help other brides if you do choose this venue I would recommend getting an outside photographer. The photographer Geronimo was very unprofessional and his photos are extremely low quality for the price you pay. We decided to go with Harmony Estates photography company, which was a huge mistake. He didn't adjust his IOS on his camera for going inside so most of the photos inside are grainy. All color is off and the quality is just poor. There is also a bunch of blurry photos, like for example our first kiss is literally out of focus. He was so focused on taking photos of our hands during the end of the ceremony that he completely missed our first kiss. I don't know about you but I'd rather have my first kiss with my husband rather than photos of our hands. I also made it very clear to everyone that I wanted to take all my photos ahead of the ceremony so I was ready to go 2 hours before the ceremony but still sticking to the schedule the venue created for me. The photographer was then an hour behind because "he got lost in the creativity of doing the detail shots" which by the way were all pretty bad lighting and poor quality. So it's hard for me to believe he spent that long on the detail shots. When I asked where he had been or why we weren't on schedule he told me (the bride by the way) that they don't stick to the schedule they just send it complementary or as a "guideline". As a bride who is very reliant on a schedule I found this to not only be rude but disrespectful to me the bride who is paying for this day to happen in the first place. He said he wants to take more photos after the ceremony which we then had to anyways because there wasn't any time due to him taking forever to do detail shots. I also was sitting for an hour waiting to walk down the aisle and they came up and asked me if I still wanted to start on time as if I hadn't been waiting on the venue to start. Other than that instance with the photographer and the delayed start of the wedding the rest of the evening was perfect and they did an amazing job setting up the decor, bar tending and the Dj was fantastic. The aftermath following the wedding was extremely frustrating as well. First we were waiting on our security deposit for 3 months. No one was answering, or they kept saying they will "check on it". They finally just venmoed us because it was taking forever for them to mail it. We were also waiting on the remainder of our edited photos for those 3 months, so when I asked where they were the owner finally responded and said she had a death in the family and of course we were extremely understanding. I do wish that someone reached out instead of us having to but again we were very understand and patient. Two months later we got the rest of the edited photos which I had to ask to be edited multiple times due to how grainy they were and how some photos were super dark and some super light and some are super orange. The owner just said it's because of where the photos were taken but I have a degree in film and it's simply because the photographer didn't know what he was doing with his camera settings and the editing was orangey and inconsistent. We paid $3500 for photos and I think anyone with a camera could've taken they are not "professional" or edited professionally at all. We also were very adamant about every payment to the venue and even tipped each staff member after the wedding but it felt as if after my wedding and they got our money that we were not a priority for anyone. I hope they hire some professional photographers for other brides sakes and the owners work on delegating to their employees and communication to clients. I added just a few examples of the photos.

During this process Wedgewood was extremely helpful, and their service had already been stellar even before the pandemic. Due to continued restrictions, our wedding had to be done outdoors only, and this location does not have the right set up for that. So Eddie, their manager reached out and spent time giving us all the options so that we can have our wedding this year. Without hesitation and without extra fees, he was able to relocate our wedding to another venue that that had outdoor setup and had the same dates available, all for the agreed prices from before. They had options to postpone to next year as wells Menifee Lakes was our first choice for a venue, and for those of you who are considering a wedding in 2021, we highly recommend this location. Their main hall has a beautiful chandelier that just adds a very rustic look to your ceremony. We are sad we could not have our wedding there, but are so excited and happy they were so flexible with changes due to COVID!! They are adhering to social distances guidelines and taking all precautions necessary. This venue and this company are top notch and we recommend you consider them for your wedding.
