This is a wonderful place to go anytime of year. The season I did go was summertime when it's too hot to be outdoors, thou this place had plenty of tree shade and ample room for social distancing and beautiful scenery everywhere. This is an oasis is in the heart of wine country. A word of caution for the ladies, it's stunning out here. What was great about our visit since it was during the Covid - there was not too many people or else this place would be swarming. It's all outdoors and it's inviting. There is a small man-made lake and tables line part of the periphery and views are endless. There is an area where you can order wine and appetizers with water mists to help keep your body cool when temperatures are past 90 degrees. Many people come for the wine. We came to do a photoshoot and explore the area and we were captivated. If you are out here, don't miss this this place with your special someone to do their wine tasting or come for a picnic with your family as there is ample space. read more

I would never In a million years recommend anyone using lake oak meadows as a wedding venue. Crooked owners who are more money hungry than anyone I've ever met and have zero sympathy for their clients. Our wedding was booked and mostly paid for pre Covid. When Covid hit they couldn't provide any of the services we payed for and refused any sort of a refund. They showed zero heart or sympathy for a young couple who used all the money they had and then some for their special day. Thanks for nothing lake oak meadows! If this could have zero stars it would, you may have thought people had forgotten about this but I guarantee you I will forever be here to remind people how scary your "business" is. read more

I attended a wedding this weekend at this venue. Let me tell you, the venue is spectacular, beautiful, and secluded! It was so nice! The ceremony area is beautiful overlooking the water! The cocktail hour area is super inviting with very comfortable outdoor seating surrounding multiple fireplaces. The reception area where they hold dinner is very nice, spacious and right next to the bar hehehe! The dance floor was really good as well! The food was really good! The DJ was great, the bar staff was very friendly, and we had a great overall experience. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone considering having their wedding there. HONEST Review. We had our wedding here about 2 months ago. Just know this place is not cheap. Even having our wedding on a weekday, it was extremely expensive. There were lots of things that were promised when we first were about to sign our contract that did not happen. - They stated we could bring as much alcohol as we wanted, but we had to make sure to bring it the day before since only the bar was allowed to give alcohol away. Well at our tasting other couples said they were told we could only bring ONE bottle of hard alcohol and maybe a case of beer. The bartender at the tasting, our coordinator, and the food caterer all gave us different answers. In the end we brought 2 bottles of hard alcohol and 3 cases of beer and they gave it out. BUT they stop serving alcohol an HOUR & A HALF before our wedding ended. We paid for the full hosted bar and most of our guests had to pay for their drinks after. Kinda ridiculous. They even went as far as to not pass out our beer that we paid for. The bartender let us know only we could be the ones to drink that since it was past cut off time. The older Hispanic bartender was incredible though she was the best. - the groom and bridal suite are beyond gorgeous. Unfortunately I did not get to use the bridal suite since they only let you in 5 hours before the ceremony. I had to get ready offsite and it made me so late to my wedding. Such a shame that you pay so much money and they won't let you in earlier.. - the buffet dinner was eh. At the tasting the food was so incredible but when it got to the wedding I was seriously so disappointed. We did end up having about 5-6 people no show to our wedding so those plates went to waste or whatever they do with the food. I had a last minute change to my photobooth people and they didn't offer my vendors any food. I feel like that's common sense but whatever. My dad also tried to get some chicken since their portion sizes are kid sized I'm not even kidding and they denied him. I felt awful that my guests were practically starving. The hors d'oeuvres they handed out were cold right after our ceremony and that was unfortunate since I was really looking forward to it. - BUT. There's absolutely a reason we picked this venue. There is nothing like it. It's so beautiful and they obviously take so much pride in this venue. I loved my wedding, and obviously things could be different but in the end it was a great day. They didn't have to, but they put the fire on in the lake since it was very dark when it was time to take our photos & it was a really thoughtful thing to do. read more

A beautiful outdoor venue that made our wedding look like it was out of a fairy tale. All our guests were so impressed with the ceremony and reception. Our photographer Lilia of L Park Photography was amazing. She went above and beyond what we expected out of a wedding photographer by helping in so many ways. Lost two stars for food allergies not being taken seriously! Server was asked if the allergen was in the dish they were serving and they said NO. We had to leave the event halfway through dinner because it DID contain the allergen and some was ingested. Fortunately, it was caught before it progressed to medical attention being required. One more bite could have been an ambulance situation. We also learned that during the meal planning phase that the allergen was requested to not be in any of the food. So we are not sure where the communication breakdown waThank you Hailey for getting us to our vehicle quickly. Lost one star for cobblestone walkway that is difficult for ladies to walk on because the spaces between the stones are not filled in and catch and ruin your heels... wear flats or shoes with block heels. If you care about security and a safe environment for your loved ones DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE. We had multiple groups of drunk people walk through our event and use our assigned restrooms. Two different groups even verbally assaulted me (one of the brides) when told it was a private event. One of those groups that verbally assaulted me, helped themselves to drinks at our open bar and food; they were dancing with our family and friends, then proceeded to verbally assault me when I confronted them. After all of this, multiple witnesses, stolen items, filing a formal complaint to the venue owners, their response is "your event is not private, all we can do is attempt semi-privacy." They belittled our safety and security concerns as "slight hiccups"....DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE. Mind you, we were REQUIRED to pay for security as part of our contract, yet there was NONE. read more

I visited this winery for one of my previous birthdays and IMMEDIATELY fell in love with it. When I became engaged, I already knew this is where I wanted to have my wedding and we didn't do any shopping around at other wedding venues! However, herein lies the problem without doing your research before jumping into a venue... it can be beautiful, but other places are beautiful, and likely much more helpful and worth the amounts of money you are dumping into a location! So far, things have been off to such a rough start, which I attributed to the whole pandemic... but it's just getting to the point where I cannot make excuses for everything! Venue: 5/5 stars for obvious reasons! Staff at Lake Oak Meadows: 3/5 stars The staff doing the set up for the events is amazing and more helpful than reaching out to the office! The office has been very unresponsive and you feel like you are left hanging most of the time. Nobody reaches out to you as your wedding date nears like they say they will, and you are left to do everything on your own or else nothing would get planned! Layne Powell gave us our tour and she is definitely on top of her responsiveness! I had to go through her just to get someone from LOM to get back to me.... Additionally, the coordinator provides you with a wedding packet 1.5 months before the wedding that would have been super helpful to receive at least 3-4 months before the wedding as there is information in there not detailed in the contract and not communicated to you otherwise. Basically you need to be on top of things because they will not be on top of it for you :( Wedding Coordinator: 1/5 stars I don't want to be mean because I really like this individual as a person, but she was 45 minutes late to our in-person meeting and I wasn't even warned about this until I texted her I was at the venue. I have also been having a heck of a time getting answers! For every 1 e-mail/text I should be sending, I am sending 3 e-mails/texts. There are promises of getting back to me at a certain time, and I even give her some additional time, but nothing... I know I can be very Type A personality, but I also feel like Bride's would want a coordinator who is responsive, helpful, making things less stressful for you, and on top of things! I also feel like I am doing a lot of what should be a part of their job on my own because we need to get things done in a timely manner. A lot of my planning is dependent on her and things just haven't been moving along as I have hoped! So that is why I need to take over which is unfair to me and unfair to my job. It's taking up so much of my personal time when it should be the coordinator's job to be more helpful. At this point, it's making me feel that they are unreliable. I am truly hoping things will turn around so I can change this review for the better... DJ: 5/5 stars This is the one and only vendor who I feel is TRULY on their A-game and is helpful!! Mike and Taylor Shroyer are awesome! Caterer: 4/5 stars The only major downfall I experienced was that they did not reach out to me in accordance with the schedule like LOM said they would. Not sure if that is their fault or LOM's for not telling them they should start reaching out to us....but the paperwork says the vendors should reach out to us. I will admit some dishes are also just okay. They have been pretty good with their communication and timeliness though! Bakery: 4.5/5 stars Same downfall as above with not reaching out to me. The small desserts are very good! Pretty good communication and timeliness as well! Overall, my biggest concerns is the lack of communication, difficulties with getting answers or responses, timeliness, staying on schedule, and how all of this interferes with your own personal plans and things you need to get done. It's like pulling teeth, honestly. I feel like all of this is a vital part of wedding planning, and due to the lack of these items, it has made my job much more stressful and is pretty unfair to me and my place of work as I have to spend much more time than I should be trying to get answers or going out of my way to do things that I shouldn't. RUN AWAY!! We booked LOM in Jan. 2020, pre-pandemic. We unfortunately fell for their sales pitch & booked our wedding for April 2021. Everything they promised in their pitch is a lie & they do not give a damn about you once they get your money. They gladly accepted our checks for 15 months, but took months to respond to our emails or calls. -They promise a private venue. The winery closes 2 hours before your wedding, or so they say. We found out AT OUR REHEARSAL, that that was not the case. They blamed it on the pandemic & needing to "keep their lights on." As if our $30,000 is not enough to keep the lights on for the day. Amber said we "must have slipped through the cracks," because we never had to postpone. By that logic, we were less important than other couples & didn't need to be informed of changes. However, after speaking to other brides, I realized she lied. None of the couples were kept in the loop. -Because of this, we felt like zoo animals while taking our photos. We had an audience of strangers clapping & trying to talk to us. Photos with random people in our background. Our photographer had to constantly shoo people. We even had drunk winery guests crashing our reception. One of my bridesmaids had to go kick them out! No security whatsoever!! -We were told we would have two bartenders. NOPE. There was one man serving 110 guests. The line was endless! -We were told 4 weeks before our wedding that we could have our wedding as planned. Not only COULD we have the wedding, we HAD to have the wedding. No postponing. No downsizing guest count. No refunds. We were scrambling trying to reach the 125 we were forced to pay for our Saturday wedding. When we realized that was not possible, it took numerous calls/emails to finally reach Amber. -We held off on sending our final payment until we heard from Amber. Never once did they ask for it, & it did not rush her to return our calls. However, as soon as we "conceded," they needed their money right then & there. They were all over us with calls/emails about the money, but took WEEKS when we needed to talk to them. -They offered "venue concessions." (Heaters, extra suite hours, lanterns, etc.) We had already paid for extra hours in the suites. Their lanterns are ugly & would not fit our vibe. We settled on heaters for the reception, the honeymoon suite, & a deduction of the extra hours from our final payment. $1300 concessions for $3500 loss. The Day Of: -There were no heaters!!! 6 heaters x $75 each = $450. I'm sure that was their plan all along. Throw in heaters, but not actually give them. Our guests were freezing! -My husband went to check in to the groom's suite at 12:20 (already late because they didn't send a golf cart) only to be told, "we don't have you down until 1 pm." We had it booked for noon for over a year!! -The locks were broken, & they had drunk wine guests stumbling in to pee, w/ all their valuables laying around!! -Our coordinator was awful. Everyone was going to our officiant/friend thinking she was in charge. Angela, our assigned coordinator from LOM, left as we were eating dinner. I only really saw her was when she told me she was leaving. She was snappy & rude with my bridesmaids, which is unacceptable. -We paid to have rose petals down the aisle, which were never placed. I reached out to our florist to ask. She gave them to Angela's assistant to place before the entrance. I went to Angela about this & she had no knowledge & blamed the florist for not placing them herself. Our florist, who was a joy to work with, mentioned that she "didn't have a good experience" with Angela & that she "wasn't very nice." -Our wedding ended at 10. At 10:04pm we had a female security guard getting aggressive in the groom's face because our cars weren't moved yet! FOUR MINUTES after our wedding ended. It was so aggressive that our DJ had to step in & stop the woman! After the wedding: -AS I'M GETTING READY FOR MY WEDDING, I get an email from Amber. She had the NERVE to say, "your guest count did not end up not being effected by COVID." On our final paperwork, I wrote 125 as the headcount because, as I told her, "if I'm being forced to pay for 125, then they better be cooking 125 meals." Her email continued, "The many comped upgrades we agreed to apply to your invoice were based on the fact that you'd shared that you'd be at a financial loss...I am in discussions with accounting on how to solve this issue...I'll let you know as soon as possible what needs to be done to resolve this issue on your invoice." When I responded by pointing out the facts, & saying that she'd hear from our lawyer if she sends us an invoice, we never heard back from her. Though, she's known to take months to respond, so jury is still out on that one! Long story short, DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE. There are plenty of other beautiful venues that will treat you like an actual human, rather than a dollar sign. The Positives: Temecula Catering and DJ, Taylor Stroyer were amazing! read more

i went here with my friend (F21) and her fiancé (M21) to tour this spot which happened to be her DREAM venue. from the first moment we met with the coordinator, she immediately mentioned they looked too young to be getting married (which is something we brushed off quickly). the coordinator then proceeded to make unnecessary comments asking if we were old enough to drink and gave us a half ass tour because there was a wedding about to start -- which is a red flag in itself because why book a tour if the tour guide is going to preoccupied regardless? next, after we went into her office, she continued making comments saying they could take their time to "talk with their parents" -- insinuating their family was going to pay for it. she then proceeded to call us "that one" or "this one" when referring to the bridal party-- not even taking the time to establish trust between her clients. overall the bride to be was highly disappointed and didn't end up choosing this venue as we did not feel welcomed and felt discriminated against. Kara was so amazing, from the moment we met here she was really genuine and wanted to know about us and the wedding we wanted. We gave her the disclaimer that we didn't know what we were doing lol and she just picked up and made us feel so comfortable, she asked us open ended questions and gave us great insight and opportunity to ask questions we didn't even think of! Kara paid attention to details and also gave us background to this place, history and knowledge of the owners. The place is absolutely beautiful through and through, so much space, so much to look at. Overall so pretty. I'll start off by saying the vendors we worked with were great. Flowers were beautiful, catering was delicious, DJ/MC kept the party going, coordinators were pleasant to work with. The venue itself is beautiful. Positive things to say end there. If you're ok with angry drunk wedding crashers from the winery storming into your wedding for free drinks, food, and dancing, then this is the venue for you! We recently had a wedding here and had random drunk winery guests regularly walking through and crashing our reception. Although the venue requires payment for security in the contract, there was no security working at our reception. While we were seated at dinner, groups of people were walking in between the sweetheart table and our guest tables. Random drunk people would show up and yell profanities at my wife, myself, and our guests. Winery people even tried to fight the bride at one point because they didn't want to leave our reception and they wanted to keep eating and drinking on someone else's tab. We had to keep telling angry drunk winery people that we were having a private event and asking them to leave because security was nowhere to be found. This venue is going to promise that you will have your own private area, bathrooms, and will stay completely separate from the public winery. This is completely false. In fact, when I complained about everything that happened, they responded that all they can do is "attempt semi-privacy" and basically that's what we get for booking at a winery in Temecula. They called drunk aggressive wedding crashers a "slight hiccup". We booked a year in advance but it seems this place changes leadership and staff frequently so things are changing constantly and it's unorganized. By the time we had our event, the parking lot for weddings didn't even have permits, our guests had to park in a faraway dirt lot by some dumpsters. read more

What an incredible wedding venue. My wife and I were so satisfied with how amazing this venue was. Absolutely dream magical wedding and we were taken care of like kings and queens. We saw it set up and there is no dance floor at all, cheap looking chairs, and the venue itself is much less nice than other venues in Temecula. I saw villa de amore after and it's way nicer and same cost category. I am so disgusted that they stood me up after I drove an hour 15 minutes and they didn't even call back to reply to my multiple emails and voicemails. We booked our wedding for 10/23/21 at Lake Oak Meadows back in November of 2019 so pre-covid. All of my interactions with the staff have been extremely positive. I have worked mainly with Sara and recently with Katey as well. The entire staff has been communicative and open with me during the changes that are ongoing during these weird times. I cannot recommend Lake Oak Meadows enough and greatly appreciate the peace of mind they have given me over the past few months. We are having an over 200 person wedding here so it definitely makes me feel better to know these ladies are willing to answer all of my questions and keep me informed with the changes that have taken place. Absolutely incredible venue to hold your wedding day at! My wife and I toured multiple venues in Temecula, mostly wineries, but Lake Oak Meadows stood head and shoulders above them all. What sets this venue apart from many in Temecula is that it was constructed primarily as an event venue with the special day in mind, with the bonus of including a winery on the grounds. By holding your wedding day here, compared to many wineries, you're avoiding the large crowds that tend to intermix with your wedding guests during much of the day. This makes things far calmer and more enjoyable for you and your guests. Many vendors come included with this venue but what makes it particularly convenient is that they have all worked together numerous times, making the day run incredibly smoothly. From the gorgeous stairway surrounded by grapevines down to the ceremony space surrounded by the lake to the reception area, the scenery could not be more stunning. We couldn't be happier with how our day went and personally hope to attend another wedding there just to experience its elegance again from another point of view! A+ wedding venue. read more

This is a beautiful place. It is spacious, has many interesting areas to go to and has a small lake. This location does over 200 weddings a year because of its location and facilities. There are many areas where they have fire tables, fire pits and they even have fire on the waterfall and lake. They have a nice indoor area for dancing or meetings which has a killer sound system. We were invited to attend a party there by a neighbor and friend which is why we were able to see and use the location. read more

Let me start by saying we were told this was a private venue, which is a lie. And the live band they have decided to play right after my ceremony started... nothing like having your pastor start speaking and then purple rain is heard really loud. Truly unacceptable. So this is how we got here: We went to multiple places this summer since we were looking for a venue that could do a wedding in a relatively short time period. This venue is beautiful! (5 out of 5) But there are so many in Temecula which also are, and I would recommend looking into those before this one. We got sold on a "summer special" but after doing the prices when we were done, I do wish I used a different venue because of the lack of communication, lies and frustration from this venue. Oh and it wasn't cheaper. Rachel was our sales lady and super sweet and cared right until We signed the contract and then could have cared less. She actually told me I wouldn't be communicating with her anymore, until she would send me emails saying the bill was due. Like some of the previous reviews, we were told the venue closed for weddings at 5, which is NOT the case and I didn't know this until we were doing our food tasting and Ashley, the one helping with catering, said we have a live band but they stop between 5-5:30 so as to not interrupt your ceremony. So they flat out lied and we fell for it, so fast forward to our wedding day... as I stated above the band starting playing loudly about 5 minutes into our ceremony!!! If it wasn't for my sister in law running to the coordinator to tell her to get it shut off, which that in itself is crazy since they could hear it, I am guessing they would have kept playing. It took another 5 plus minutes to get it to stop... thanks LOM for ruining my ceremony. No one returns calls, you never get the same person, they continue to say I'll have "Frank" call you back, which he never does. I didn't know who he was and I still don't know if he exists, but when asked they said he was the owner, which is super sad if he is. But then his employees must take after his business practice of not caring or responding. You will have several different people assigned to you and they all take care of something different, but none of them actually respond. Even to try to get a final bill I had to call several times, emailed multiple people, but only got an email from Rachel days later saying it was due that day even though I didn't have the correct amount. The food was good and the chef and Ashley were super sweet and helpful. The DJ was cool although even tho I sent him an updated list of songs somehow he didn't have and the coordinator helping me that day had to give to him again. The ONLY person who actually seemed to care and was very helpful was Lisa O. If it wasn't for her we considered bailing and losing the money we paid. 5 out of 5 for her only. They do have security there to keep patrons out of your area and they did a great job and were very helpful at night to get us back to the bridal suite. Overall the misrepresentation of their venue is a bummer so hopefully the next person who reads the reviews notices it because my experience was right on with the others who complained. But I failed to check here first and I know better. Lastly, the venue cut my cake for me, so they took my cake with the cake topper in the back and brought out pieces of cake, but never my cake topper back. When asked, Rachel found it, but said they can't mail it and sent me a screen shot of a portion of the contract saying anything left behind isn't their problem. I argued that I didn't leave it, they took it and didn't return it. She was "nice" enough to mail it. Since they lied and jacked up my ceremony with a live band that wasn't even supposed to be there they get one star. And I know an outside venue but fyi a million ants everywhere. Lake Oak Meadows is a stunning property. I was born and raised in San Diego and many of my friends hadn't heard of it - so I urge you to take a look if you're in the market for a beautiful outdoor space with tons of greenery, water features (lake and waterfall), and a uniqueness many venues can't offer. Some of our favorite elements: --The entrance for the bride at the top of the vineyards - I've never seen an entrance quite like it, talk about a 'WOW' moment. --The beautiful tree which is the main backdrop to the ceremony. --The bridesmaid and groomsmen suites are serious wow factors. The women get gorgeous salon chairs and plenty of space while the guys get a pool table, fridge and a total man cave. --The overall atmosphere. The property was designed so well, from the choice in tiles and pavement to the plants and flowers to the bar design. You could go super rustic or elegant here. We had the pleasure of working with Layne in touring the property and budgeting it. Not only is Layne incredibly enthusiastic, but she's so friendly and warm and makes you feel like you're her own daughter. She was very easy to get a hold of and answered any questions quickly. She wanted to make sure our wedding felt like "us" and was flexible in accommodating or brainstorming how to accommodate our various wants/needs. Her supervisor, Anthony, also played a big part in helping to make our wedding plans and vision very special. My best advice is to look at Lake Oak Meadows early in your venue hunt and snatch your date if it's open -- the venue books SUPER quickly and you won't want to lose out! read more

This venue is absolutely stunning. We had a magical wedding, and there were many amazing factors that lake oak meadows contributed to our wedding. However, the all inclusive platinum package makes it seem like it's better than it is at face value. We had to cough up an additional 5k in floral fees, since all that was included in their florals were football size centerpieces. We didn't have a few of the staff included in the contract like a bridal hostess or a banquet coordinator. Even with the platinum package everything was additional. They set you up with vendors but it truly is up to you to plan absolutely everything. We didn't really speak to our wedding coordinator till the last week. Also look at the fine print, we had an open bar but extended our wedding till 10 PM, and all the diagrams with our coordinator said 9PM cash bar starts. The bar had started making people pay at 8:30 - right when dinner was done and our bridal party wast not able to capitalize on the open bar. In the fine print in the contract they close it 30 minutes prior but we had no idea till it was happening. No announcement, no warning from coordinator. All of our other paperwork said 9PM. Other than that, it was truly a beautiful venue but be ready to cough up some big change. read more

I just had my wedding here, and it was so magical. My wedding was in January, and the venue still looked lush and gorgeous. It is such a unique venue that made for the most beautiful photos. My (now) husband and I knew this is where we wanted to get married for YEARS! Once the time came we booked an appointment to tour LOM (pre-Covid) and it really solidified our desire to get married here. Although planning a wedding during a pandemic seems less than ideal, LOM made it super easy because you are gifted a wedding coordinator to help you with your big day. I cannot tell you how blessed we were with our coordinator Angela! She was so amazing throughout the whole process-she became more like family than a coordinator (mainly because of my daily calls to her) haha. If you can get her, she really is the best. She is amazing to be around, but also knows how to make sure everyone is where they need, to be when they need to be, without it seeming pushy. I fell in love with this venue the minute I saw it but ever since it has been a nightmare! They are unorganized and can't get their bookkeeping straight. I got to frustrated with them I tried to cancel, mind you early enough to get at least a partial refund and they have put me off time and time again. They sold my date and still, no refund. It's so bad that all I want now is for them to stop emailing me about booking DJ's and other vendors and now, even though I canceled over a year ago, they just sent me a bill! Don't book this venue! I got married here December 2, 2018 and it was a magical experience. Seriously dream come true. My then fiancé found them on The Knot, and I didn't want to get married in a winery but I agreed to go check it out with him. From the moment we stepped foot on the property, I was BLOWN AWAY and knew this was where we'd get married. The setting is breath-taking for both ceremony and reception. The process was seamless and easy, they made us feel special and taken care of and weren't pushy sales people at all. The venue comes with an event coordinator which you never realize you need until you totally do!! I was dealing with an illness and had a hard time communicating near the end, and they were kind and understanding even though I'm sure it was frustrating. Day of: everything went perfectly! Seriously. Perfectly. Small problems that arose because I forgot a few things THEY solved quickly and I didn't have to worry at all. Tips: Hire a good photographer because this place has so many gorgeous places for pictures. Honeymoon suite is totally worth it! Beautiful room, jacuzzi, and they bring you delicious breakfast the next morning. GET THE HORSE AND CARRIAGE! It was like a fairytale arriving on it as the bride and all my guests talked about it. I wish I could write this review and say that everything from my wedding was magical and the most special day but thats not the case. I booked a photographer that LOM recommended , L Parker photography. My engagement shoot went well with her but when it came to the wedding I was heart broken it took 10 weeks to get my photos back then to see that almost all the reception photos were dark or over exposed from her flash. I contacted her to ask for a re-edit and got lots of push back. She told me that other photos I saw on her social media had better lighting and that I should of gotten more lighting,I told her I had purchased additional lights but excuses were given back. If you have been a photographer at this location and know the lighting is bad why wouldn't you tell the brides or offer solutions to ensure the photos will turn out good. She agreed to edit the photos again but still made the photos look over exposed and people have an orange hue. On the wedding day she did not follow my list of photos I wanted taken and instead of talking through issues when the MOB brought them up she gave the excuse of "I've been doing this for 18 years". Obviously 18 years is not enough time to figure out how to edit photos and have good customer service . I missed opportunities such as photos individually with my grandparents who flew across the country to my wedding but was assured that we got photos with them but in reality it was just one big group photo. Other photos that were on my list were taken half-assed and the excuse of "well I asked you on the wedding day"but I was getting freakin married and thought I had specific instructions done PRIOR to the day. I tried to midigate any issues with contacting Lilia first but when I was basically told well you looked so pretty and your photos are as good as they will get, I called the venue to see if they could motivate her to do something else to mitigate the issue.I called , emailed, and texted the LOM manager Jennifer, being assured it would be brought up to the owners but a month later I am still looking for answers. The venue, while it is gorgeous it is overpriced for the service you will actually receive. To start the day I had booked extra time in the bridal suite.I was given instructions on how to best get to the suite but when I showed up they had built a gate blocking the bridal suite driveway . I was not told ahead of time nor even 5 minutes before I showed up so I could have coordinated with other members of my bridal party let alone figure out where to drop my wedding decor. The very sweet grounds maintenance staff could see how flustered I was and offered to drive us in their dirty golf carts to the front of the suite but I declined as I was in all white PJs with my white wedding dress.... When we showed up to the bridal suite it was locked despite us paying for it to be opened early and now 15 min late due to the gate issue. The rest of the morning went well until it came to our first look, we decided to do private vows which became not private thanks to security not being there and our coordinator just sitting and watching some of our early bird guests as well as random winery patrons interrupt our special moment. We had random winery guests wandering into our reception area trying to order at our bar then sitting in our reception area drinking on our white table cloths /decor . We had to pay for security for this event and yet they were no where to be found and not even a sign to ask people to not come into the reception area was found. After the ceremony , our guests went to cocktail hour where they were charged for all their mixed drinks despite having multiple conversations with LOM staff, my wedding coordinator, and the bartenders about having an open tab that my father would pay for at the end of the night. My dad even went before the ceremony and gave the bartender his CC and instructions to put all the drinks not included in my wine & beer package on his CC. Well I guess for him it was a happy surprise at the end of the night when he received an $18 bill vs what would of been a couple thousand dollars. I never went up to the bar at my wedding so I didn't know until one of my wedding guests brought it up a few days after my wedding. I felt so bad that I was promoting having a good time and having the cocktails flow but then my poor guests ended up getting charged for LOM's mistake. I am so disappointed in the level of customer service both from the venue as well as their recommended vendors. In the last month I was told these issues would be brought to the attention of the owners of LOM but have yet to hear anything back besides some excuses as to why the bridal suite was not accessible, why people were walking into my private moment, that the photographer was my decision and that any repercussions should not be on LOM, etc. read more

Do not have your wedding here. We paid over 40k for our wedding and didn't get multiple major things promised in our contract; we didn't even get our grand exit we planned for! Then the venue has the audacity to charge hundreds of dollars after for things we never did without telling us. When I tried to reach out to management I was literally told: too bad. This was an absolutely beautiful venue. My cousin was married here and it was fabulous. It was beautifully and tastefully done. The staff was very helpful and patient, there are some elderly members of my family that doesn't want to follow what they perceive to be silly rules; you know like sitting at the meal table before everything is ready. The staff was awesome and just kinda put up their hands shrugged it and let auntie have a seat. The grounds were very well maintained and looked amazing. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they are a winery, and were pouring their own wines, they were good I must add. But it was awesome that there were no "winery guests" peeking in on the event. The vegan food option was a little lacking; my daughter was still hungry after and ended up eating some of the veggies and bread despite the fact that there was dairy on them. The offering was a portabella mushroom, zucchini, summer squash, tomato and eggplant stack topped with marinara. No sides, but is was good and healthy, but just not enough food to satisfy a 5'3" 95 pound girl. We were very grateful to have the option and it did taste great. Meat eaters were happy there was a pasta with a tomato cream sauce, some kind of beef, mixed veggies, Cesar salad (that looked delicious), bread, and other stuff everybody was enjoying it. The cake was beautiful and I heard great things about that and the cupcakes. Overall the staff was great, venue was amazing, the walk was a little treacherous in heels, the food was good. read more

Lake Oak Meadows was the most perfect venue for my husband and myself. The venue is absolutely beautiful. It's gorgeous! The bridal suite was so pretty and was set up in the most perfect way. Made getting ready easy. Tessa was super responsive which made things easier. Lisa, our day of coordinator, and Victoria, her assistant, were perfect. They answered all my questions and made things run smoothly. The food-- all our guests kept saying that it was so tasty. I really appreciate that the venue made sure to have vegan options for my family as well. The DJ-- he was also super easy to work with. I booked my wedding in March 2022 for 10/08/2023. Lake Oak Meadows was an Absolute DREAM to work with! I must say I was a little worried after someone had pointed out their recent negative reviews but after a little explanation and experiencing first hand just how amazing their team is, that worry quickly dissapeared. They have the best response time, every single person I have spoken with was polite and accomodating to all of my (crazy) asks, and on the day of their team was on top of everything! I was able to have zero worry about anything on the day of my wedding because their team took care of everything for me! We were flipped off taking our wedding pictures. This is just the start and one of the results of Lake Oak Meadows negligence and lies. We were contractually sold on our private dream wedding. We chose the venue because it was private and we were told no outside guests would be allowed on the property after 2pm. Instead, we were informed one month before the wedding (and by a vendor - apparently Lake Oak Meadows had no intention of telling us) that they would have their winery open to the public during our wedding and reception. When we were addressed our concerns to lake oak meadows, we were reassured that there would be extra security, no noise, or people in sight from outside people. Wedding day comes around and we have drunken winery guests literally telling my now wife "f*** you" and calling her a "b*****", people flipping us off while we're taking our wedding pictures, other winery guests yelling at the mother of the bride, random strangers literally walking in to our wedding in plain clothes and eating our appetizers and wedding food because the venue didn't have enough security, the heaters not coming out until it was hours later when it was too cold and dark and half our guests already left, nothing being roped off like they said they would, a useless wedding coordinator, and none of our requests answered. The list goes on here really. Mind you, we're very cordial people - we didn't engage with these guests or were by any means unreasonable. We just spent our life savings on one day and expected a little bit of professionalism from Lake Oak Meadows. 2-3 Months later now and they are still ignoring us. Be warned - Lake Oak Meadows will lie to your face and as soon as they have your money, they won't respond, won't care about you, and will leave you to the wolves on your wedding day surrounded by drunk winery guests, incompetent security and staff, and unresponsive ownership. -- Here comes the generic auto-response from owner's trying to trick you into thinking they care (despite ignoring our emails the last couple months). Fun stuff. Save your money, go elsewhere :) Especially if you want private. Don't believe them haha. read more

We absolutely loved our wedding at Lake Oak Meadows. The venue is perfect. Our ceremony turned out amazing and looks wonderful in all of our pictures. This truly is a picture perfect place to get married. Our coordinator was so helpful leading up to the ceremony and making sure things went smoothly. We loved having a bridal suite just feet away from our venue and reception. Great for pictures and getting ready for the wedding. We enjoyed the reception and the food. We paid for the top premium package and were expecting to have the best staff Lake Oak had to offer, and up until a week before the wedding we felt that's what we were getting. Just days before our wedding, our officiant switched on us and so did our DJ. The officiant did his job well, just not what we were expecting. Our DJ was the only downfall of our experience. We went through lake oak package and we were in contact with DJ mike for months leading up to the wedding. The week of we were told he is not working our wedding and assigned someone else to do it. He was not attentive or friendly with our guests. Did not take the Lead as an MC/Coordinator for the reception. Did not follow our timeline correctly and mispronounced our wedding party. Just did not seem like we were getting the quality of service we were paying for. It truly was a damper on our experience and unfortunately took us out of enjoying our reception with guests because we were stressed running around trying to get our guests organized for events, dancing, and send off. We took our issues to Administration/accounting and they were unaware that our officiants were switched or who our DJ was even supposed to be. Our experience was still amazing and we love Lake Oak Meadows, we just wouldn't want anyone to have the same issues we did when paying that amount of money for their wedding. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. It started out as a GREAT wedding venue, the landscape speaks for itself its gorgeous. BUT.... we started having problems AS SOON AS WE SIGNED THE CONTRACT. 1. We were concerned with some of the reviews saying that they felt rushed at the end of the evening, so we decided to bring up the concerns to some of the staff there (Rachel and Layne to name a few) and they just told us they have a "strict 10pm policy" and kept repeating that over and over. They didn't even want to hear what we had to say. 2. THEN THE DREADED COVID HIT. lemme start this part by saying when i tried to call them to reschedule no one answered for the first FEW WEEKS. No emails, no phone calls. We had to relocate to Florida due to work issues and covid so we wanted to cancel our wedding completely... SHOCKER they didn't allow us to do so. So we tried to reschedule..... the first time we rescheduled was right when covid was happening... i'm a nurse and I saw how bad it was getting, so i knew that I wanted to be one of the first to reschedule. BUT THEY KEPT TELLING ME TO WAIT IT OUT. They wanted me to wait until 3 WEEKS before my wedding date to decide to reschedule. I have guests coming from all around the world there was NO WAY i was going to wait until 3 weeks away. THEN GET THIS. WHEN THEY FINALLY AGREED TO RESCHEDULE ME THEY TOLD ME THERE WAS ONLY TWO DATES AVAILABLE FOR THE WHOLE YEAR OF 2020 AND THEY WERE BOTH ONLY A TUESDAY AND A WEDNESDAY!! BUT WE WOULD HAVE HAD TO PAY THE SAME AMOUNT OF MONEY EVEN THOUGH MIDWEEK WEDDINGS ARE WAY CHEAPER!!! I ended up rescheduling two more times after that then i threw my hands up and asked for my 50% refund. I believe they should have refunded me everything since the only thing i had done was signed the contract. NOTHING TOOK PLACE OTHER THAN THAT! 3. PLEASE RUN FROM THE WEDDING COORDINATOR ANGELA!!!! She was so rude and un accommodating. When I sent her the letter stating i was canceling she never even emailed me back. and I wasn't even asking for my money back i was just calling and emailing to let her know the situation and she didn't even have the decency to contact me back. 4. The vendors were HORRIBLE TO DEAL WITH. we went through s'mores play who lake oak recommended to us.. we spent almost 2,500$ and GOT NOTHING BACK. All they said was per the contract there are no refunds. 5. The hair and makeup that I was recommended through lake oak ( its called Blush by Marie ) did not give me anything back when I paid in FULL over a year in advance and she responded with " if I gave everyone refunds i would lose my house." to me thats a pretty unprofessional way to say no refunds.... My wedding has been canceled for a while now and i never make bad reviews, but this is suppose to be the couples best day of their entire lives and i will not let this venue ruin anyone else's day. I saw some reviews that said their wedding day was ruined because of the staff and that just breaks my heart. Now who knows when we will have a wedding because we will be paying back what we lost for a long time. Please take this review into consideration. I, like many people, ignored the reviews because the place was so beautiful. I will never do that again. And the only reason i named names in this review was because who knows, maybe some of the staff there isn't bad and they can make your wedding amazing, but my experience from those specific people were extremely unpleasant. read more
