He tried it anyway, was pressing all these buttons on his device, and said sorry it's not going through. He asked his manager, and confirmed what he already told me. After a 2nd failed attempt, he blamed it on their system being outdated and not capable of handling that type of transaction. In 2026?? At a high end store?? It's a standard Apple Pay return! Here's the thing, I've returned something with Apple Pay in the past successfully! I didn't want to argue, but it was rediculous. Will replace my card, the stuff is going back.
