Our experience at Cosiani was absolutely amazing! I was told by a friend to have my son go there to purchase his suits because they have the greatest qualities and styles. Splendid service. I called at 6:30pm on a Wednesday, and I walked in at 7pm. In less than an hour, Alina gave me very detailed fashion advice and got me pointed in the right direction for selecting a suit that met my needs. I don't have much experience shopping for suits, but she was patient with me and guided me through the process, highlighting important choices that I hadn't given any thought to prior to walking in. Moreover, Alina was able to turn around tailoring on my new suit by the following Saturday. I felt like I was given good guidance, but I never felt like I was pressured to buy. I brought some of my current dress wear for comparison, and Alina gave me candid advice about which of my accessories could still be worn with my new suit, and which ones I might consider replacing. I'm not a guy who wears a suit -- almost never. So when I was invited to the Magic Castle, which has a formal dress code, I couldn't rely on the casual stuff in my closet. I could have gone to a chain store but I decided to shop local, and I'm glad I did! The service at Cosiani was outstanding. I was greeted without delay and the woman working that day took time to tell me all about my options. From start to finish, I felt well taken care of, and I ended up with a great-looking new suit and tie. Friends said I looked "distinguished," which must mean I'm getting old, but I'll take the compliment! When my suit was tailored and ready, I wish they'd have called or texted to let me know, but it's not a big deal. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I'm a bigger guy, and they only carried my size in one of their several styles. Came to Cosiani maybe 3 weeks ago with my mom & had the privilege of meeting the sweetest mother daughter duo Alina & Karoline, right off the bat I felt like I walked into a store with my friends, you know those people you meet and you're like "ok I wish these people could come over & hang out with me regularly?" Yeah... Warm friendly outgoing. We swapped some stories before I took notice of their mens wear. I asked some questions pertaining to suits before Karoline informed me that the INSIDE Material of suits is a large factor in quality of suits & I was mind blown.... Like WHO KNEW THE IN BETWEEN FABRICS MATTER?! I left & came back 2 weeks later with my fiancé and after trying on maybe 3 suits of different colors & types we decided to move forward on a beautiful classic gray blue 3 piece light blue undertone suit (styling credit to Alina who suggested the most versatile color combination for us) I'm not kidding, my fiance can wear practically any color shirt with it. We went to the wedding over the weekend and he got so many compliments on the color & the fit. ** They offer in house alteration services whether you purchase from them or not**! But, I had to get three outfits, and the clock was running, I had two days before the Pebble Beach Concourse and the various parties we were to attend. I found Cosiani had the best reviews and was close to Los Feliz. Upon arriving a young lady, Anna greeted me warmly and asked if I needed help. In an hour I tried on numerous suits, shirts, pants, and shoes, Anna was extraordinarily efficient and focused on making my experience great, never any pressure to buy. I walked away spending a couple thousand dollars, but the same shopping would have cost me double at Nordstrom, and the service can't come close. JUST GO HERE FIRST. Came in a week ago to buy a suit for my upcoming dance competition. I own a dozen suits already so I pretty much knew what I was doing and what I was looking for...a high-quality suit in a specific color (either blue or silver). Let me just say that I'm usually a difficult customer. Not because I haggle a lot but because I like to ask a lot of questions and take my time when buying. So I felt especially bad taking up time from not one but TWO salespersons--I believe it was the owner and a young lady. What's good enough for most people will probably not be good enough for me. I have to put on the suit, then dance around, doing a billion turns and poses from different angles before I can answer if I like the suit. Then I'll ask to try on different suits from around the store (even pull other brands, colors, and cuts out from the back) and do it all over again. I can only imagine what most salespeople think of a crazy guy trying on every jacket and stretching it out doing funny dance moves without asking questions about the suit or price. I hate not being able to remember their names perfectly so just gonna write "they" again. THEY were so so so patient with me. Whatever question I had, whatever suit I wanted to try on, didn't bother them one bit. They gave me all the time and space in the world without making me feel rushed. (I walked in 30 minutes before closing, mind you!) They knew exactly when to explain about their suits and when to just chat among themselves while holding up different jackets for me to try on. Lots of joking around and laughter with these guys (you don't feel like anybody's dying for you to get out of their store). They're about as opposite of high-pressure salesman as you can get. Anyway, time for me to actually get to the review... First of all, they're really GOOD PEOPLE. They know their suits but don't bad mouth other brands or other suit stores. This is a big plus for me. I hate when salespeople have to talk down other brands/competitors to make themselves look better. Second, they were really HONEST. If they didn't like a color on me, they would refer me to another color. If they didn't like a certain fit, they would let me know. If they had a personal favorite for me, they let me know without making me feel bad if I didn't choose it. PRICES were great, but not cheap. They do have the $100-150 cheap stuff too but you'd be doing yourself a disservice getting that. With a knowledgeable honest shop like this, you can spend more. How much more...well, you can go up to $1000-2000 for the name brands ORRRRR you can do what I did and go with their house brand for about $300-500 which has most of the high-end details and trendy cut of the more established brands. As you've probably already guessed, the SERVICE IS AMAZING. You feel every minute of their time here is spent finding you the absolute best suit. No wasting time trying on crap that they know will never look good on you. The suit I got was actually the 1st or 2nd one they had me try (out of 15 or so). Great color for my skin. Nice cut, fits perfect, drapes nicely, moves well, perfect length, shoulders, arms, lapels, chest, everything perfect. Zero alterations needed. I can't wait to show up to competition in this. I highly recommend this place to anyone. It's perfect for beginners who don't know their proper fit and need a salesperson they can trust. It's also perfect for experienced suit-buyers who know what they're looking for and just want some new options (different cut or color) at a great price. One couldn't say enough good things about this business and I'm glad I listened. Not checking the business hours like I should I walked in 30 minutes before closing looking for an entire setup! Didn't rush me once, didn't even mention they were closing soon or that they had closed for that matter trying on different colors and styles and she just simply enjoys what she does. I called ahead of time to see if they had the right fit and color of the suit I was looking for and they said they did. Although a suit may be a certain size, you always have to try them on because of the differenct cuts, styles and brands. Unfortanetly, although it was the right size it did not fit me. 3.5 stars. This is a tiny store that sells suits, shoes, shirts, etc. Upon entering, we were greeted quickly by 2 employees, one of which was obviously learning the ropes. Service was fairly attentive and pleasant overall. The choice of suits in the desired size is quite limited and most seemed to be made of a wool and polyester blend. The aisles of the store are very narrow. While my husband was trying on jackets, an employee needed to pass by several times, and each time he had to turn sideways just to let staff pass by. So the lack of space was quickly apparent and a bit annoying. Also, in order to see the fit in a mirror, one has to walk to the back of the store each time, as there are no mirrors out front. My husband was not crazy about any of their choices. We were told that the current suit style is to have visible stitching along the edges of the lapel and pockets, which most of their jackets had. It is a different look to the typical traditional or modern cut suit jackets, which are more classic and timeless. It may be to one's liking, but my husband did not care for it at all. read more

I found the Glendale location via a simple search and thought I'd check it out. What a great men's store! Sometimes you get the feeling that men's apparel is more an afterthought to women's but not here. That's all they do - and they do it VERY well! I first met Alina (the owner's daughter) who helped me through finding something perfect. She listened carefully and enthusiastically to what I wanted and didn't rush me in the least. We began the process of looking through many suits. (Frankly, I think she was having fun "dressing me"!) She was very concerned with my thoughts about fit, color, style, etc. She never pushed anything and was genuinely concerned that I was happy at every step. I found a beautiful grey suit and a black blazer and then went to find shirts and a tie. Again, she spent a great deal of time working with me to find some beautiful combinations. Since I'm colorblind, she was very helpful and explained not just what matched but how and why they matched! Who does that? She even found a combination I could wear interchangeably! Alina needed to bring in a shirt from another location and would have it in a day or so. No problem. I finally paid for everything (GREAT prices by the way!) and went to the tailor she recommended. During the fitting at the tailor, I notice a slight flaw on the back of the sleeve of the suit. I called Alina to ask about replacing it. Not only was she very apologetic for the problem (which in fact I hadn't noticed either - it was just as much my fault!) she would immediately replace it. She told me to have the pants altered and to leave the jacket at the tailors and she would handle everything. I actually took it back to her and again, received another very sincere apology (remember: just as much my fault). Two days later I returned to pick up the shirt and jacket. I met Margarita and the owner (Alina's mother) Karoline. Both were warm, wonderful and charming - very polite and (again) apologetic over the problem. Unfortunately, they couldn't get my original suit but found another they believed I would like. They wanted to wait for Alina to come in (she was on her way). I was concerned that the pants of the original suit were being tailored and immediately Karoline told me she would pay for it even before I asked - absolutely no problem! When I saw the new suit I loved it even more than the first! It fit exactly like the other as well. Karoline even offered to have the new suit taken to the tailor for me (wow!) but I wanted it looked at by the tailor. No problem! I was on my way with the new suit and fortunately, the tailor hadn't started the pants of the other suit yet. BOTTOM LINE: I give both negative and positive reviews when they are due. Giorgio Cosani in Glendale far, FAR exceeded my expectations (which are very high!) The experience was incredible, professional and even fun! They immediately handled a problem I had, gracefully and really cared about their products and my experience at the store. THIS is how every retailer should be! First of all, context: This is a store in a given price range, I would say mid-range. What I mean is they do not have the $1000 and up suits with the complex details like working buttons and horsehair canvassing etc. They do have very nice suits. I want to say thank you so much because they also have great service. I own several expensive suits but not one in black. This is exactly what I needed for a wedding on short notice. They were open late, and were kind enough to ask their tailor to wait for me after closing so I could get a good suit, get measured, and pick it up the next day in time for my flight. Rafi showed me incredible personal attention, and gave me a spectacular deal on 3 suits with shirt, belts, ties, and even a pair of shoes. I was very nervous about trying a new shop, spending so much, and being on such a tight time crunch... but all my anxiety was alleviated when I went in. I came for the 3 for $300 deal, but after Rafi put me into some different suits, I could see the difference spending a couple more bucks could get me, so I was still able to leave under $500 and get some amazing new threads. This place is off the charts! The store looks rather small from the street, especially being nextdoor to the very large Porto's bakery, but had quite the space.
