The staff here is so welcoming and sincere, and are not afraid to strike up a warm conversation. The store is run very efficiently for consignors as well -- I've consigned many men's designer that have sold quickly here. I'd say it's easier to find nice designer womenswear. Men's designer is harder to find, but at times you'l get lucky with designer menswear.

I purchased two candle holders and later got a voicemail saying I owed an additional 33 cents because they'd undercharged me. Odd amount to call about, but I was out of town and didn't call back right away. The next day I answered a call (that turned out to be from them) asking for someone else entirely. Assuming the number was possibly spam, I googled the number, saw it was Trove, and then emailed them directly, saying I understood I owed 33 cents and asking for an invoice. They corrected me. I actually owed $33, not 33 cents, they couldn't send an invoice by email, and wanted me to call and give my card info over the phone instead. After everything already off with this (the wrong number call, the 33-cent voicemail, no email invoicing), I didn't feel comfortable reading my card number to someone over the phone. I offered to stop by in person instead, and asked in advance if they could have a receipt ready showing my original 33 cent charge, so I wouldn't be making the trip for nothing. I rearranged my lunch break to make this happen and showed up as planned. No receipt. They said they'd emailed it, but I'd specifically asked for a printed copy, the least they could do given this was their error to begin with. That request took several days notice and still didn't happen. Their printer was "acting up," so I got no receipt for the original charge and none for the new $33 charge, either! An error on their end turned into a special trip, wasted time on my lunch break, and still no paperwork to show for any of it. Disappointing customer service, especially when the customer is the one who has to burn their own time fixing your mistake.

I'd say I'm going to miss her, BUT I heard they will be opening a new store for their sister brand, La Femme En Noir, that Lisa will also run. Let me just say: she BETTER! To me, she is as iconic to the brand as Micheline herself! These gorgeous clothes will surely be missed, but I'm truly hopeful that the closing of the Vixen brand, will be an expansion of LFEN. What made the situation even more disappointing was the feeling that some employees were taking advantage of the manager's absence. Customer service seemed to be the last priority. I still appreciate the brand, but this particular location does not reflect the values and experience I've come to expect from Farm Rio. Based on my experience, I would not recommend shopping at this store.

This shop does not stay quiet for long. The shop owner is so friendly, chatty, and seems to have a great relationship with all of her customers. It wasn't long before I heard roars of laughter from beyond the curtain as I tried on clothes. When I peaked out I was welcomed with compliments on my clothes and a wave of positivity. The energy that bounces off the walls of this shop is contagious and uplifting. I recommend browsing through this shop and finding an item and a story to leave with.

I had the absolute best experience here!! I came in to get my hat reshaped and from start to finish everything exceeded expectations. Omar, the "hat doctor," primarily helped me, and he truly lived up to the name. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind. I brought in my mom's old cowboy hat from the 80s, which was in pretty rough shape, and he somehow brought it completely back to life in a way I honestly didn't think was possible. The transformation was incredible! Beyond Omar, the entire store staff was just as wonderful. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely engaging. They remembered our names, checked in while we were shopping, and made the whole experience feel personal and relaxed, like shopping with friends! I ended up leaving with a few new pieces, including a new hat and my fully restored vintage one, which I'm so excited about. I will absolutely be coming back!! read more

They have items on sale racks and have been around since 1966. Store was easy to navigate and was SUPER CLEAN!!! Quality along with fabric and comfort is above and beyond ones expectations. Love my Vans! Plenty of parking, since it's inside the mall on the 2nd floor.

When I shared this negative experience with the sales associates at the Sherman Oaks location, I was met with empathy and compassion. They explained to me that this has been a regular occurrence where customers are turned away from the Studio City store when making returns and that this is against Free People's policy. I was so shocked at hearing this, but also grateful that they took the time to explain to me what happened and that I wasn't alone. I didn't catch their names, but I loved my experience with the two ladies who helped me at the Free People Sherman Oaks location! THANK YOU! :)

My daughter only tried them on briefly after practice, which I didn't think would be an issue based on what I was told at the time of purchase. There was no clear explanation or flexibility--just a flat denial. What's frustrating is the inconsistency. If policies have changed, that should be clearly communicated to customers at the time of purchase. I didn't argue in the store because I didn't want the situation to escalate, but the experience left a bad impression. I expected better customer service and clearer communication between locations.

She gave me a towel to "clean" something that wasn't dirty, and she did it in a very disrespectful way. I feel that the way she treated me was not right because I never disrespected her at any moment. They really need to work on their customer service, because this is not how customers should be treated.

The Vans were on sale, so they refunded me back the difference to my credit card. A shout out to Pablo -- he is a completely cool person who listened to me vent about my hard workday and pulled out five or six different pairs of shoes for me to try on until I found the one I fell in love with. We like old navy for clothes for our little girls, be a use they're fairly inexpensive and they usually have a pretty good selection. The people who work here are always helpful and friendly, even though they are understaffed in my opinion. The reason this is is a four star review is because the store is pretty small, which sometimes leads to a limited selection. They always tell you you can get it on the website, but if I wanted to get it on the website I wouldn't have come into the store.
