We are here last night after reading the good reviews and left with mixed feelings. I had a #102 and my wife had grilled steak, shrimp, and chicken with tortillas. Mine was just a bunch of burrito like items wrapped in beef and red sauce while her steak was a fatty cut of meat she said it was good. Mine was fine just not great or special. read more

We came here with 3 children and 3 adults. The service was horrible. We got served 3 meals. Then another came. We waited for the other 2 meals of which one was a macaroni and cheese. It was another 10 minutes for the one meal and the child's meal did not come. I had to ask for that meal. When the meal was over I talked to the manager, who made excuses. Did not do anything for us for not being able to eat together. I would never recommend this if you have children. Maybe adult service is better. Will not ever return again. read more

We were traveling from Iowa and spent a week in Williamsburg. Naturally we ate seafood being on the East Coast. That being said we wanted to take a break from that and stumbled upon this and we were all very glad we did. Admittedly it was 3pm so we were the only people in the restaurant, so we were not surprised that the service was excellent and the food was brought quickly. What did blow us away was the food itself. It was very good. It was flavorful and made with fresh ingredients. As a warning the large margaritas are large (this is not a complaint, it's nice to not get skimped). We would highly recommend taking a page out of our book and take a break from seafood to go south of the border. read more

Great food, fast service, reasonably priced. What more could you ask for? It is easy to miss though, as it is a smaller restraunt and set back in the trees a bit. The place serves authentic style Mexican food, though most of the dishes aren't as spicy as I would have expected. This is one of the few restraunts on the east coast that serves mole poblano dishes. Try it if you haven't. Unless of course chicken with chocolate chili sauce isn't your thing. read more

Here's a quick test: If you recognize (and will eat and/or drink as appropriate) horchatta, carnitas, al pastor, and pico de gallo, you'll probably like this place. In fact, the worst thing we had was their salsa, which was fairly standard. But at least two of their food items were "just like home" (okay, maybe that's not saying much...but the pico de gallo and Mexican guacamole were made the pretty much as I make them, which is to say they were fresh and very tasty). read more

Price was decent, but not any better value than most Mexican restaurants. They did serve me more food than I could eat with my entree order, and I did enjoy the meal overall. If you liked this restaurant, try Plaza Azteca a few miles down the road. We decided to try this Mexican restaurant as per the positive reviews on yelp. The menu was extensive with many Mexican favorites. The dish prices were average in my opinion. The service was very good. Our waitress was warm and friendly. The wait time for our food was really quick. Unfortunately one of the dishes at my table was under seasoned. However my steak,chicken and steak fajitas were fantastic. My 5 year old daughter had the kids meal which was a taco and burrito. She ate 3/4 of the dish with no issues. I highly recommend for dessert the burrito mazzana. It was really a treat to end our experience there.I would without a doubt come back and try some of their many other Mexican dishes. I do recommend this place regardless of the one dish that was under seasoned. read more
