Pepperoni and a Mushroom Pizza. The watermelon was a nice touch on a hot day in Rome.!

Incredible little pizza place in Rome! A little hard to find because the GPS does not take you to the right spot but certainly worth the effort to find it! Pizza is sold by the pound. Very inexpensive and absolutely delicious! Lots of great choices from traditional pepperoni to mushroom pizza. Quick service and very good.

    2 kinds of vegan pizza

We stopped here for a mid-afternoon snack, as we saw they had vegan pizza options (3 to be exact). You order by weight, they heat it up, and then call out your order. My wife & I split two vegan pizzas, one with tomato and olive, one with rocket and sundried tomato. For the amount in the picture, it was about €6.50. The pizza base/crust were very good, but the pizzas themselves were fairly lacking in flavours. Satisfying for what they were, but nothing interesting. OK spot for a cheap vegan-friendly snack.

This is close by the Coliseum, but it has pretty good pizza! You can choose from a variety of different flavors, and it is delicious! Just a little salty.

Came here for a quick bite after touring the colosseum. First thing I noticed is how many locals frequented this place (meaning they're good!). They charge for pizza by the weight and was affordable for the quality. There was a line when we came but the service was quick! Definitely recommend this spot for a quick snack/lunch or to get pizza to go.

Great selection and super helpful staff

Phenomenal pizza, so flavorful. The lady at the counter was very helpful in explaining each item and was patient with me. This made the experience all the more better as I felt comfortable in a very busy place. We ordered the mushroom veggie with cream sauce (my favorite), pepperoni (perfectly spicy), and potato (thinly sliced with herbs) pizza. The dough was a bit thicker than other pizzas we've had in the area but it was a nice change (I preferred it). Also ordered the rice balls; they had a nice crispy outside and full of tomato and cheese flavor inside. Cute place that packs people in. No AC but 1 fan going so make sure to order a cold drink to help if dealing with summertime heat.

AMAZING!!!! no notes as they say. not only is this pizza amazing but it's also rlly inexpensive! The crust was so much flakier than pizza i'm used to. i loved the potato (& ham?) one the most, just because it was really unique. the pepperoni is also SO good compared to pepperoni in the US. and ofc the mozzarella and basil were so delicious and fresh. You probably will have better luck trying to find a spot to sit outside or take this pizza to go , as the actual store itself is pretty cramped and gets full really quickly. our servers were also rlly nice and they were getting so many pizzas out quickly despite how busy they were. i've thought about this pizza every day since i came herr. definitely worth the hype!!

What a neat pizza shop! I loved the different varieties of pizza it offered and that it was pay by weight. Once you tell the staff how big of a piece you want, they'll cut that piece in half so it's easier to eat.

Popped in while we were walking around Rome. Very nice female staff. They weigh your pizza and it was very reasonably priced. Really good and quick, limited seating.

    Lasagna was also yummy

We got dissed by our tour company for the colosseum tour and had time to kill.. So found this little pizza place and had good reviews so I thought I give it a try.. Waited about 20 mins for them to open.. Man was it worth a wait. Best pizza I've had ever.. So sad this is my favorite pizza place ever and we are leaving Rome tomorrow.. So glad I got to try this place. I was told by the gal working that the thin crust is traditional Roman style.. Staffs were so friendly and kind, none stop smile to everybody. Ordered some pesto and zucchini, spicy salame, and Margherita pizza.. OMG the pesto one is to die for... And spicy salame also.. Margherita could have used little more sauce for my taste but added some olive oil and bam..it was yummy.. Also ordered lasagna. Not a big fan of lasagna over all but it was yunmy here.. I would come here everyday if I lived here And price by the weight .. Which I love.. Only pay for what you want to eat.. This place is must try place

Love it pizza by the weight and delicious suppli!!!!! Will be back. Also taking some home with us

We just stumbled on to this place after our tour of the coliseum, the place I was trying to find wasn't at the address shown and we needed to sit so we had lunch and it was great, many of the pasta dishes coming out to tables around us also looked great. Good value too

Found this spot, near the Roman forum, through google and it had great reviews. It's down a side street/alley and kind of small and hidden, so much so we passed it twice. Decent selection of pizza and one foccacia sandwich type. You decide size of your slice and pay by weight. We had the Zucchini with mozzarella slice, mortadella slice and rice balls. Everything was delicious and the staff was all very friendly.

Delicious restaurant we stopped by on a whim! A little in the alleyways and tucked away from many of the tourists visiting the colloseum. The workers were very helpful and kind. We had the Aracini that was delicious (Traditional and Caccio e Pepe). No pics of it becuase we ate it too quickly. Also had three different pizza slices which we shared. Didn't know the names to these, simply pointed and asked for the slices. It was also priced by pound, and ended up quite cheap for our group of three. Highly reccomend if you're nearby the area.

When we arrived on a late afternoon, we waited about 10 minutes before getting seated. To start off, we got the Limoncello Spritz (€10) and Aperol Spritz (€10), which were refreshing. For our pasta, we ordered the Fettuccine with Oxtail (€18) and Carbonara (€17). We also wanted to order two more Secondi dishes, but the waiter warned us that the pasta is filling. After we finished the pasta, we did still order the Rabbit (€19) because it wasn't something we usually see on the menu. For the carbonara, the flavor was delicious but not really my favorite pasta shape. It was also quite al dente with a chewy texture. I have to say that the oxtail was spectacular though with its juicy and tender meat sauce. While the rabbit was nice to try once, it was a bit dry with minimal meat. Overall, good spot but nothing worth waiting too long for. Also, I'd stick to the pasta here as it's all handmade. You even see them handrolling them inside. Note that they also charge €2 per person for service fee already.

From the food to the experience, this place is a must when you're in Rome. I'd come back again and again without hesitation.

Our hotel manager had suggested another restaurant, but I was apprehensive to try, but did later, more on that restaurant review in it's own post. I rather did what I should have done throughout the trip to, which is to search google for local reviews. This tactic I found to be much better than to trust American reviews for restaurants to visit from Youtube or even here, just because the American touristy taste tends to favor bland or Olive Garden style pseudo Italian. The real Italian taste is much different and something one needs to develop. I was familiar with European Italian food, as I had said before in other reviews that Mexico has better Italian food outside of Italy. Additionally, the good restaurants here in Italy do not open before 7 PM. If it does or if someone that looks foreign to Italy is outside trying to lure you in, it's a tourist restaurant with iffy flavor. At this restaurant my husband had the Lobster pasta and I had the spinach/ricotta ravioli, and we both were beyond satisfied. We also had the artichoke as an appetizer, and trusted the waiter with his suggestion for a bottle of wine. He must have been some genius because the wine went well with our meal. The ambience was cozy and very family oriented, however, the rain outside made it romantic for us. Another key point for this restaurant and it traditional flare was that they brought out the olive oil and red vinegar for our salad and of course olive oil for our wonderful home-made bread. I'm so glad we chose this place for those of us Americans who understand culinary cuisine.
