Awesome little place. I stumbled by it while walking around Rome. Seems popular with locals. It's a takeout counter. Pick one of the premade personal pizzas in the display case (they have tons of options and keep on cranking them out" and they reheat it for you. You go and pay, add on any extras you want like a drink or Arancini ball. Then they will direct you to a seat outside. When pizza is ready they bring it to you. The pizza was awesome. We went with the classic margarita with a drizzle of chilly and it was beyond amazing, it's anyway difficult to mess up a margarita. Best fire oven pizzas in Rome!!! We came here 3 nights in a road during our trip in Rome. This is a little hole on the wall restaurant. There isn't a place to sit. Very small and it is always busy. Absolutely worth the wait! It seems as they always have different concoctions for their pizza toppings but anything you try won't disappoint. I had one day a slice of a pizza with prosciutto, ricotta and pistachios. This was my favorite pizza!! I wanted more the next day but they didn't have it. A 15 minute walk from our hotel led us to an area/neighborhood we'd never checked out, but obviously where the locals go. The pizzas are par cooked and on display, and there were at least 8 different variations, as well as suppli available for purchase. Just came back from Italy vacation this past July 7,2019 We stayed at the MARCELLA ROYAL HOTEL in Rome. The restaurant is just down one street from the hotel. It is very busy during lunch time. It is take out only. Or you can stand Ana's eat your pizza on the shelves on the side. They also sell drinks. They make the pizza (uncooked) - like a personnel size pizza and then display them so the customers can see the pizza or they can also ask what kind of pizza it is. There are so may unique combinations that more Than likely you will need to ask. One of the flavors was pepperoni with zucchini flowers. This tasted deliciously. My husband tried one with eggplant and dates. I loved how we could look and ask, if we had any questions. Most of all! I love how my pizza came out piping hot. Any one that is around the area where they see this little cute corner pizza place. This place is a must!! Remember standing room only.
