I've never found a love so true. Better to have loved and lost they say. I miss you old friend

We were so grateful to find this gem. It was one of the few places open to our jetlagged selves. We wandered in. We did our best to order with our very very limited Italian. We kind of just pointed picked and fell in love. It was so good we returned for lunch the next day and it was filled with Romans (always a good sign)I am deepely saddened that not only can I not find this place anywhere near me but ill never be able to recreate it. Plz go.

We stopped in for a quick bite as we were windowing shopping. Fresh pizzas, baked in the wood oven upon ordering We also had a potato type thing, not sure of the name. Looks like a fried baked potato, but is more like mashed potato inside, very good. If you don't speak much Italian (like myself) just indicate the size of pizza you want, it's charged by weight.

First stop in time and returned for more. The pesto was so fresh and eggplant parm is just like Mom makes.

Pizzerias are a dime a dozen on the streets of Rome, with at least four a block from my hotel.

They have a small pizza and a bigger size which I would say is about 10 inches. The small size was sold out on my first visit and found out better to arrive earlier (before 6) for these. The Mini pies are good if you want to try a few varieties-so many so little time. Ordered the big Amatriciana (the unloved pasta dish of the big Roman four as a pizza) which was recommended-Pecorino, mozzarella with the Pork cheeks taking it over the top-one of their most popular and rightfully so! On the second visit , they had the small size pies-Friarielli & Salsiccia-Broccoli Rave and sausage-tasty, Fegato & Cipolla-pork liver sausage with onions and peppers made for a "not everyday" and delicious pie. Both visits service was excellent and engaged. This place screams independent and one of a kind but it turns out they are a regional chain with a handful of locations. Amazing pizza with so many options!

Plus, the space is very hot inside, but better to sit near the window or do takeaway. I wasn't very hungry, but wanted one last pizza in Italy. When I saw that this spot does mini pizzas, which means I was able to choose a variety of flavors; I was so excited! Unfortunately, they ran out of the mini pizza dough and only had the large. It really is a shame, because I didn't think the bigger version is worth €15 each. Nonetheless, I ordered the Burrata & Anchovies while the husband got Pepperoni. I really did enjoy the flavor and chewiness of the dough. The burrata also gave it such a nice creaminess to balance the pizza that worked perfectly. Sadly, I had to waste a slice because I couldn't finish the larger pizza, so still a bit upset that I couldn't order the mini. With that said, it's a delicious pizza spot.

( separate menus for tourist with higher prices, plus tourist pays an extra 2.50 euros per person to just be seated, and 4 euros for water) This isn't a high end restaurant to charge 16-18 Eros for a small portion pasta dish, of Carbonara, Fettuccine Bolognese and Penne ala' Sorentina. We were really hoping for things to taste better with a 4.3 rating, especially in Rome. The bolognese sauce had a dirty water tase, the Penne ala' Sorentina sauce was too sweet, and the Carbonara was just okay, portions were just small. Nothing tasted like fresh pasta or sauces. I'm giving them the 2 stars for the Bruschetta, that was on point, the tomatoes were perfectly seasoned. Don't waste your money or time.

Amatriciana had crispy pancetta on top, the best I found this trip. The ravioli was mouthwatering with a sage leave for presentation. Very pleased with our dinner. Reservation made a few hours earlier online. Very easy. But let's highlight the best part, Alfredo. I'm not sure if he is the manager or the owner or just an employee with a lot of heart. But you can tell he loves his job, he loves the restaurant, and he loves the guests. He chatted with each table. Personally delivered our limoncello and check. The food was great, but even if it was average we would still recommend eating here because he was wonderful.
