My friends and I ate here at least once every single day for the time we spent in Rome! We loved the pizza and the flavors! They has a great variety of toppings and the shop was quiet and quaint. There was plenty of seating to pop in for lunch and grab a few slices or any of their friend appetizers that were also delicious. Mami serves up delicious pizza with creative toppings, priced by pound. As tourists taking an after dinner stroll in the streets of Rome, my family and I were already full but couldn't resist stopping in here for a couple rectangular slabs of Italy's fast food of choice. We split a classic cheese slice as well as a more out there pumpkin slice. Both were just as expected - tasty, simple, and satisfying. They have tons and tons of topping combos, so you'll definitely find something you like! The guy at the counter was also very nice and helpful and stopped to chat with my family despite a slight language barrier. This is a great place to come, tourist or local alike, for lunch or a late night bite! Like most of my trip in Italy, restaurant selection was random. We came here because the restaurant we intended to go to was too long of a wait. Situated off the main road but in a little food square, this place have a nice little fast food place. The pizza is sold by the weight, not by the slice. Their pizzas are also more contemporary and creative and not traditional as they have a salmon pizza, which was pretty good. All the pizza were pre-cooked and sitting out in the open for customers to pick. They, then, would microwave and warm it up in an oven for you. The restaurant is tiny. There are about 3 high tables. Not a place for groups. It's better to take to-go. read more

Started off nicely... ended like a pile of sh*t. Overall, a fairly decent plate of pizza, but the young lady working there needs to learn a thing or two about the service industry. We placed our order and got our pizza. We're fine at this point. Once we finished eating, my wife and I looked around and saw NO PLACE for us to take our trays. As we were walking out and saying "Grazie", she yelled "hey, GUYS!!!!" and referenced back to our table. Apparently we were supposed to clear our plates, and were magically supposed to know this even without signage or apparent drop-off point. I asked "Happy to clear those, where do I take them?" and she snottily pointed at a drop-off point hidden behind the kitchen door, which was propped open. I don't mind bussing my own tables, but don't be a raging asshole about it if you aren't even willing to place the bin in a visible spot. Also... racist "Aunt Jemima" branding. Nice quick stop for the focaccia style pizza. Had looked at the reviews prior to selecting this place, and was most excited to try some Roman street food. Including the rice balls and croquettes. However we were disappointed to find out that the only sides they were offering that day, or had available, we're french fries. So we got a quick slice of pizza, that is sold by the weight. The pizza was good, and the staff was very accommodating in letting us select whatever size we would prefer. Only reason for not five stars is that we had wished all menu items were available. Seating is minimal, but is inside. No air-conditioning that we could tell and doors were open to the summer heat and the tables were a bit cramped. We still enjoyed our meal. read more

This restaurant is absolutely disgusting. Firstly the whole branding of this place is deeply racist and very inappropriate. Secondly, the servers are poorly mannered (I'm not the only one who has said so) and the food is subpar. If you want good pizza in the area go anywhere that's not this bigoted establishment. This is by far the best pizza I had in Rome and maybe on my entire trip. I came here twice while in Rome and I wish I discovered it earlier in my trip. The staff was extremely helpful and told me each type of pizza. Everything is super fresh and tastes delicious. The pizza is priced by weight and for two pieces of a meat and a veggie pizza and a beer it was 6€. Very close to the pantheon and other sites so make sure to stop by! read more

Sooo glad we found this place on a late hungry night in Rome! They stay open late so we walked in and chose which pizza we wanted. They ask you how big of a piece you want them to cut, weigh it (that's how they charge you) and then they warm it up and fold it into a sandwich (or maybe because ours were to go) either way it was delicious! Our favorite meal so far in Rome. So many other places in the area are ultra-touristy with just average food. The pizza here was sublime.
